Mr. Bubble

This may make serious perfume people clutch their pearls, but this, and Demeter's Honeysuckle are two of my absolutely most worn fragrances (and I have a zillion). This is clean but definitely not soapy...just bright-yet light, fruity, delicate.... All these notes like banana, coconut, peach, jasmine, vanilla-they sound like they'd be a screechy, loud, overly sweet and heavy combo, but not at all! Somehow the ratios of each note create such a light veil that is so so pleasant. Kind of like being encased in a single bubble from my childhood bubble bath using Mr. Bubblle. Never too much, and light as air...like a bubble. Lots of compliments when I have this on. I don't love all Demeter fragrances, but the ones that work for me really work. This and honeysuckle smell EXACTLY like what they say, with absolutely no powdery white musk (which I cannot stand), or any kind of musk or woods in the base. That's what probably makes me not a true perfume lover, I've realized. I dislike a dry down. I love top notes, and always pine for a fragrance to just KEEP smelling like it smells when I first spritz. That usually never happens, but these two do just that. Then, after a time, (not too long, not too short-just right) it's just gone, with no lingering base. I'd rather have that, and just respray if I choose, than feel uncomfortable by the end of the day, because my scent has dried down to something I don't love. I would truly mourn if this fragrance was ever discontinued. Never dreamed I'd be saying that about a perfume called Mr. Bubble! Haha!! :)

God, do I love this! I do believe that this is being discontinued because it was impossible to find for a quick second there. It’s also no longer being sold on Demeter’s site. I just got a 4 Oz bottle off of FragranceX. I had purchased the last one ounce bottle off Amazon and my luck well, being mine of course, it had come unscrewed and leaked during transit. I got a refund and was able to keep what was left in the bottle which was still pretty full and functional. Great success 👍 Thankfully, this hasn’t been discontinued by Demeter. It’s just been repackaged as simply ‘bubble bath.’ It has the same notes as the Mr. Bubble release but with the traditional Demeter packaging. I definitely prefer the old packaging for nostalgic reasons but it’s the same fragrance from what I can tell. This smells IDENTICAL to Mr. Bubble bath gel. No more, no less. I was expecting it to smell similar, of course, but it’s exact. The bottle 😍 it’s sentimentally adorable. I can see how this is unisex but on me it leans more feminine. For being a Demeter cologne, the longevity isn’t too bad. It lasts 3-5 hours. I like layering this with my soapy scents and it’s good as a stand-alone fragrance as well. I agree with The Wolf. I enjoy this more so than MMM’s Bubble Bath. This smells more realistic to me being that I used it as a kid and there’s also a calming factor associated because of that.

I bought this fragrance for nostalgia and it's fun to wear and spray on at home. Smells exactly like I remember the bubble bath when I was a young child. Honestly, I like this more than Maison Martin Margiela's fragrance bubble bath. It's sweet and soapy clean. They really hit a home run on this fragrance.

It smells exactly like the pink bubble bath powder you remember. I wish the longevity was better but it's a fun hit of nostalgia.

@Dreamcast, If your bottle reads "Bubble bath" & is indeed this fragrance, it is bc they are no longer in collaboration. This happen with Demeter & Hershey's & Jelly Belly. Like a promo, then Demeter kept the fragrance (b/c they made it) but no longer used their name. My bottle reads Mr. Bubble. Just as pictured. Light, but lovely.

A soapy shot of childhood nostalgia. The performance is weak but in a good way; any stronger and the sweetness would be headache inducing. Ladies love The Bubble, so that's a bonus as well.

I mostly smell bananas here, a kinda soapy banana scent. Jasmine and powdery notes definitely help the fragrance to hold longer. For a demeter fragrance, the sillage and logevity are not bad, maybe 2 hours or so. Definitely need to respray during the day though. But most of Demeter scents fade away in 5 minutes so it is ok I guess. It is a very fun, playful and young scent, but with a little flowery/powdery twist that makes it unique. I am 32 and don't feel ashamed to wear it... I never smelled the actual Mr. Bubble product so I cannot compare, but I like it a lot: playful, soft and office-safe, perfect for summer or even winter, when you need a little spritz of sun in your life. :)

I absolutely love this. If anyone is familiar with the scent of Mr. Bubble bubble bath, this is spot on. Bubble gum, with the addition of some banana and subtle floral notes, that make the scent unique to Mr. Bubble. I have the 3.4 ounce spray, which I purchased on fragrancex, and I don’t notice any odd side smells, which I have gotten before with some of the other Demeter spray colognes. The smell is light and unobtrusive, and not particularly long lasting, but it’s a nice pick me up. Sad to see it’s no longer on the Demeter website.

This smells so good. A fun, yummy scent.I think the reason Demeter doesn't have the bath & body line, is because Ulta and Target carries a line called Luxe by Mr Bubble. It's the same exact scent.The Luxe products have a retro look, comes in different scents.I bought the original scent.. in the body butter, fragrance mist, and shower cream to layer with Demeter's Mr Bubble..It's a great scent!

@dern I just found one on eBay, check there. I think it is discontinued now because it seems to be selling out everywhere. Also, try Whole Foods. I think they still sell Demeter.

Does anyone know what's going on with this scent? I had it opened in a tab yesterday and today I can't find it anywhere on their site. Is it discontinued?
