Mulled Cider

Was so excited to get this after reading all the reviews that it smells like a Yankee Candle - I LOVE fall/winter candles - and it did not disappoint. If you're like me (a true Yankee Candlehead) you will like this, it really does smell just like one. It is pretty cinnamon forward but it has that apple and other spices too. It smells stronger Demeter fragrances and I hope it lasts longer too - I'll have to see when fall rolls around!

Perfect fall / winter scent. Cozy. Warm. Comforting. An extremely easy reach.

At first, this smells like the real homemade red apple juice! Not like store bought apple juice. You can almost taste the grit at the bottom the glass. The spices enhance the apple essence just perfectly. I smell mostly cinnamon and maybe a hint of clove. At first the apple is quite strong but then it is joined by the spices, and settles really nicely. Very slightly sweetened though also crisp with a hint of tartness. Very very autumnal and pleasant. It does kind of end up smelling like a dried apple and cinnamon stick potpourri - but in the most pleasant way possible. A coworker said (with a smile, mind you) that I smelled like a Yankee Candle! I will be wearing it this fall. It is pretty uplifting! This is a review for the cologne splash. This one has very decent projection and lasting power if you apply liberally. It was still detectable for me after 5 hours.

If you’re a cinnamon lover, this is the one for you. This scent is a great way to celebrate the beginnings of autumn, but it’s also funny because when it’s too strong, it’s almost christmasy. This scent is a very strong spicy cinnamon with a little bit of apple. Mulled cider is a very accurate name. A beautiful scent to wear on a chilly autumn night to warm up.

Got it thinking it would just smell like cinnamon apples, but it's genuinely mulled cider. So you're getting a kind of boozy scent which personally is not for me. Doesn't really last but might be good to layer. 5/10

Warm cider, or cinnamon applesauce made by my grandma- either way, a very easy reach. I may actually prefer it over Angel's Share?

I have a love-hate relationship with this fragrance. On one hand, the scent truly smells like mulled cider and the tartness of the cider shines through nicely. However, on the other hand, I am not able anymore to use this fragrance as a cologne: once sprayed on skin, it leaves a greasy residue that has already ruined outfits. I then used it as a room spray, for which it is nicely suited, but it also left oily spots on the floor and furniture. I now spray it on a potpourri to add some autumnal coziness to the home. Honestly, the consistency of Mulled Cider is such a shame because the scent is lovely. Consequently, I am now hesitant to try other Demeter fragrances, even though they sound like fun.

Got the roll-on as a freebie. It doesn't smell bad by any means, it's a really nice aroma and as an autumnal room scent I would love this. But as a body scent? It just smells a bit too much like a candle to me.

OMG. OMG. Oh. My. God. Like...this is kind of what my brain was like when I sprayed this on this morning. My brain actually turned INTO mulled apple cider and I lost all ability to think and could just SMELL. It’s like I was in a steamy tub of mulled apple cider and there were little cinnamon sticks floating around. Words cannot describe the sensations that were running through my mind. Apple/cinnamon is a power-couple perfume set (others include passion fruit/coconut and tonka bean/musk). It’s so perfectly spicy, and sweet. It’s fall, and comfort...like being wrapped in a fleece snuggie. I cannot say this emphatically enough...I LOVE THIS PERFUME. I’m going to buy this again and again and try out some of the other Demeter fragrances.

Each time I wear Mulled Cider it feels like Christmas. Apple cider dominated by cinnamon. It radiates Cinnamon like crazy, just pure brilliance in a bottle. This smells fantastic on my skin and my wife has a love for cinnamon, so its a win win for me. You can not go wrong with this & I intend to never be without this wonderful fragrance. The only drawback is that it only lasts for 3 to 4 hours and then you need to respray. I do have a couple other fragrances by this company and I am going to get some more to try out.

This smells like a Christmas candle, in a good way. I don't know if I would wear this on a regular basis, but I can see it being perfect for the holidays :)

An exact replica of mulled cider. Dry, spicy apples wiht a warm sense. Very nicely done.

I layer this and Kilian Apple Brandy. Killer combo!!
