Neroli

A warm nectary fragrance, halfway between Demeter's Beeswax and Orange Blossom. A lovely sweet scent for evenings or cool weather. By itself Neroli makes me close my eyes and sigh happily, yet to my surprise it pales in direct comparison with Demeter's Orange Blossom. Neroli is not as sweet, nor as bright. I expected to appreciate the subtlety of Neroli, but I honestly can't decide which of the two I like best.

I've had both Neroli and Orange Blossom by Demeter, and I don't consider them identical ...the orange blossom is a bit more powdery. Love them both! Can't go wrong with either!

I wish these Demeter one note scents lasted longer and had more sillage. Pretty smell.

Lovely and very wearable! I would say this is a unisex scent. it's light and floral but it does have this green, tangy twist. If you're looking for a simple, casual scent during the spring, summer or fall this could be it! I think it's a safe blind buy since many people like it. Chances are you smelled this note before without knowing it was neroli.

It's ok, but I get way more sweet orange from it than neroli, and longevity and sillage are weak. I'll use the bottle I have but will not purchase more.

In Florida oranges are a big resource. We have the best oranges in the US. I grew up around orange blossoms and orange groves and have always loved citrus floral scents. Neroli satisfies my citrus and floral itch. This is one big fragrant orange blossom aroma. It smells like sweet oranges high on trees which also grow white flowers. This is very sweet, tart, a bit like mandarin, with a little green note thrown in there along with a nondescript white floral scent. This fragrance has it's place. It smells great in spring and summer. It's cool and refreshing at the firsts spritz and though not 100 percent like it, sort of goes into Maurer & Wirtz 4711 Cologne mode as well as Murray & Lanman Florida Water. This is a very Floridian fragrance which is what drew me to it. It is great for wearing to the beach on vacation or for sailing. It is unisex as it's mostly citrus. Smells great, heady, sweet but strong. It doesn't last too long but it has a longer life than most Demeter Fragrances. It might run up to 2 hours. I don't like to spray too much but it has such a great smell I often spray the air in my home with it. My cat and dog love it. Demeter still sells this online! Enjoy!!

A candy sweet neroli that will offend no one. Like most Demeter stuff, this is a photo-realistic soliflore that will sit close to you skin and be gone in a flash. Along with her twin sister "orange blossom", these scents are great for layering and punching up the neroli note in other 'bigger' scents without overwhelming them. I also mix this or orange blossom with their salt air and thunderstorm for scent that makes me think of going to the beach in Florida.

It smells OK. The scent doesn't last very long. It's rather disappointing to spend $40 on a fragrance that acts like a $12 bottle of something from Bath and Body Works. I'll finish the bottle because it's pleasant enough but I don't think I'll be buying anything else from Demeter.

Surprisingly citric + slightly agrestic top note. Dries down rapidly into a sweet, creamy base more reminiscent of orange blossom than neroli. Projection & performance are weak, but is to be expected.

I'm reviewing The Library of Fragrance Orange Blossom but from what I can discern, this is the same exact thing as Demeter Neroli, just has different name in UK. This is nice, mild soliflore.
