Green, and I'm guessing lily with some soil and peppery notes over the house's strange, melonish base. Synthetic, of course, as are most Demeters. This one is a bit stronger than many of theirs.

I can't find anything to like in this, it's just horrible to my nose. It smells like cat pee on top of old dead leaves with some kind of synthetic citrus thrown in. Gave me an instant headache. I don't think you could even find anything to layer it with that would improve it - and now I'm stuck with a 4oz. bottle of it that nobody wants!

Soapy with juicy green apple. Turns tangy and acrid bitter. Smells cheap and juvenile. Not really anything enjoyable about it. Lazy and gross.

I agree with the earlier reviewer, that it's kinda funny that they just say it has green accords. What it means is that they got the smell of fresh green plants and got it into a perfume. We all know that Demeter does a kind of magic trick to get real-life scents turned into liquid that you can then spray onto your skin. Here is my take on it. When I first spray it on, I get a pleasant jolt of nature, green and fresh and without a hint of floral, oud, sandalwood,etc., none of the heavy and exotic elements that are so prevalent in perfume. Just a blast of the smell you get when you walk in a garden of green bushes just after it rained, fresh and leafy. It is a very pretty and happy moment. But then the dry-down is when the magic of the moment in the garden goes up in a puff of, well, green, and you are left with an artificial smelling, non-magical scent. And then it is gone within 15 minutes. So I enjoy the fresh green, then it turns, then it is like it was never on my skin.

lol, I like how the accord says nothing but 'green.' I can't elaborate any further than that, it's green. The dry-down is artificial though. I could see layering this with something.
