Ominous Mist

This fragrance is great, but the name is a little misleading. The overall sweetness and fruit notes don’t really match the “ominous” label, and it works for both daytime and at night. The opening is very fruit-forward and sweet, and the warm floral notes (mainly jasmine and supposedly orange blossom, but I haven’t smelled orange blossom enough to pinpoint it in a fragrance) intertwine nicely with the darker blood orange. Personally, I don’t get many woody notes, if any, but the jasmine becomes much more prominent after the fragrance dries down. This fragrance is definitely more feminine than masculine, but I still wear it as a guy. It projects enough for me to get the occasional compliment if I’m talking to somebody one-on-one. Now for the downsides. This fragrance would definitely do a lot more for me if the woody notes were more prominent and if there wasn’t as much sweetness. While the fruit and floral smells are great, there isn’t much depth to the fragrance as a whole. I appreciate its simplicity, but it could be so much better if it had some sort of herbal or woody note to balance out its sweetness. But it works well for layering! This fragrance lasts for 1-2 hours, which is my biggest complaint. As-is, it’s an 8/10 in my opinion, but if it lasted longer it would be a 9. This fragrance smells like Dreams Come True by Sun Ra.

I was waiting for this perfume to be on this website for quite a while now. It is one hell of a good highly synthetic, semi bittersweet, balanced, raspberry fruity, floral scent on demeter's ultra niche category. It is so synthetic, attractive, nostalgic and addictive i can't put it to words. It's also heavily feminine leaning unisex and very strong perfume. Has a good sillage and longevity (lasts all day). It reminds me of the remix song "U weren't here i really miss you" by Cult members. It gives off that one cinimatic color graded Y2k nostalgic scene that I have no idea how to put together lol. I wore this all fall and spring to college this year omw to school listening to the song mentioned above. I will never forget this synthetic & nostalgic masterpiece. Edit: I layer this with citizen jack Michael Malul London and the combo makes it even more crazy mysterious and refined, oh how I wish there was a bottle of the two combined together. Edit#2: it also reminds me of Jennifer from Jennifer's body with her cute pink jacket and blue jeans, so odd.

An interesting fragrance. The tangy sweet raspberry/mandarin/woods combination could be likened to a softer, somewhat more nuanced version of Coty’s Tribe, which I remember my sister wearing back when I was a child. It has since been discontinued so those who enjoy that one may want to consider Ominous Mist. I associate this fragrance with the night (perhaps it’s just the name?) but it does seem a bit mysterious and has a humid yet breezy quality that evokes evening walks in the woods. For a cologne mist it performs pretty well; I get a few hours out of it, with reasonable projection. It also makes an excellent room fragrance.

Ominous Mist doesn't really smell ominous to me, but it does smell nice. More crowd pleasing, with a slight mysterious edge. I say that because while the notes for this cologne are supposedly listed on here, it doesn't *exactly* smell like the fruit notes nor the floral notes it says it's supposed to have. But it doesn't not smell like that either. I don't know. It seems like the kind of fragrance someone would wear if they wanted to smell good and maintain a mysterious aura to themselves.

My favorite Demeter scent I've tried, but it doesn't really feel like ominous mist. Just sort of smells vaguely nice, sweet, but not overly so.

I sincerely think this smells like a haunted version of Dolce and Gobanna's Light Blue. I used to wear that in high school, so it does have a nostalgic appeal, but I'm glad I only got a sample size.

Puzzlingly, this smells just like Viva la Juicy to me. I smell it and I land right back in 2009. I don’t claim to have a good nose (just a greedy one, as I often say), so your mileage will probably vary.

Mouth wateringly delicious, can’t stop sniffing my wrist. It’s mysterious but in a hot way
