Patchouli Eau de Toilette

I got this perfume awhile ago and it stinks, its not good at all

Just got this few hours ago. So this is a 1st impression and more details will be revealed over the coming days. Recently noticed that almost all my favorite perfumes have a Patchouli note,hence the purchase. This one smells so close to the real thing. The initial few minutes smell strong and quite camphor like but it smells good after a couple of hours. I am totally impressed with Demeter Fragrance Library!! They get the smell spot on. I've also got Pipe Tobacco and Hershey's Special Dark.....both impressive big time. I'm even more impressed by Fragrance X. Amazing prices and this product reached me here in London, UK in 5 days! I feel this is slightly too strong in the first 15 minutes, very "medicinal" and too camphor like. I am layering this with Demeter's Hershey's Special Dark and totally love the combo. I ratio the sprays as 1:2 for Patchouli:Hershey's Special Dark and by 1-2 hours this combo smells amazing. Demeter scores a home run again!

I saw the spray cologne & the roll on perfume at my local drug store this past week. I dearly love the earthy sensuality of patchouli so I tried the cologne on the left wrist & the perfume on my right wrist. Oh the fragrance was WONDERFUL so I gladly took both bottles with me as I shopped a few minutes while waiting on my scripts to be filled. In about 15 minutes the cologne was TOTALLY GONE & only the FAINTEST scent was detectable on my right wrist. I was so disappointed with both that I put them back on the shelf before I checked out. What a disappointment for a patchouli lover!!! Don't waste your money on either of these!
