Pina Colada

Oh this smells looooovely!!! Fruity juicy sweet with this heartwarming coconutty smell, im sooo gonna wear this to the beach, for relaxing outside and in the morning! I dont think i would wear this to go eat or drink something because it really does smell like the drink and you dont want that to mess with your sences hahah!! I would only wear this in summer!

Smells exactly like I spilled a piña colada on myself. A piña colada made with a mixer, rather than made from scratch. It's so literal, I don't know if it's a fragrance I would want others to smell it on me, but it's a lot of fun as a fragrance just for me. It makes me feel like I'm at a beach resort. It's not super strong or long lasting but reasonable for a Demeter. I could see this being good for layering to give another perfume a more tropical feel.

I recently tried Demeter's Pina Colada EDC, and it definitely has its merits. The scent combines sweet pineapple and creamy coconut notes in a way that does evoke a tropical feel. It truly smells like a pina colada. I find it more of a virgin pina colada with the rum note really not detectible to me. Demeter fragrances are not known for their longevity so it's not surpising that Pina Colada is pretty fleeting. Thr projection is pretty good for about an hour then starts to fade away and is gone before 2 hours. As the fragrance disappears it is relaced with a dusty, stale scent that get with most Demeter fragrances. I only smell it very close to my skin and thankfully every time I have layered a Demeter scent the other fragrace has obscured this unpleasant aspect. Demeter fragrances work best as layering fragrances. On their own they just don't last long enough to be worthwhile. Pina Colada works to enhance or add a tropical feel to a fragrance. When worn alone, Pina Colada does give off a carefree, tropical aura that's suitable for warm weather. It's a pleasant option for summer days or casual outings. You just have to reapply almost every hour. In summary, Demeter's Pina Colada is a decent fragrance that captures some essence of a tropical getaway. Its ability to enhance other scents is a plus, making it a versatile addition to your collection. If you're looking for a straightforward, laid-back, summer perfume, this one could be a suitable choice. It's a pleasant, everyday option for those who enjoy a light, beachy touch.

You can layer this with almost any tropical fragrance either from Demeter or elsewhere and it works well for the summer. I'm not the biggest fan of their pineapple note and that's prominent here but it's still creamy and tropical. I'm looking forward to layering it with their banana and coconut fragrances for peak Summer vibes!

This smells almost exactly how a pina colada tastes so I’ll give Demeter a 5/5 for accuracy. However it’s so pineapple-y that I can’t take it seriously as a perfume... reminds me too much of chapstick from Claire’s or something. I like layering it with Firefly though.

I like the idea of collecting a scent library so that you can test and remember individual notes and concepts. However, I wouldn't wear most of these as a perfume and this one is no exception. It smells exactly like a piña colada (in the most synthetic way possible) - but who really wants to smell like a piña colada? I'll just have a drink, thanks!

Something in this perfume doesn't fit on my skin exactly. I smell something like old note. Disappointment. But it is good if you use it as a home perfume - in this case it can be really pleasant.

I am getting onions, which is difficult to understand as I own their pineapple and it is spot on. Something about this blend ruins the entire concoction. Blech!

I had high hopes that this fragrance would be a classic pina colada fragrance. I wanted the combined smell of Coco Lopez, fresh pineapple juice and good rum. This fragrance starts off with a very bad interpretation of pineapple, and some coconut. The coconut is not the rich, heady Coco Lopez smell, nor is it any coconut that I've ever smelled either fabricated or in nature. Maybe it is a really poor vanilla, but even this is a big stretch. I smell no boozy rum to speak of. The dry down is the most disappointing part of this fragrance: it is a chemical, rotten (as in mold/bad fruit), "vanilla" scent. This fragrance is horrible! If you are looking to remember and/or celebrate summer, PASS on this fragrance!

Curvealert nailed it, below me. This is a pleasant scent in theory, and I adore Demeter and their ability to create fun scents that smell like fun and memories and nostalgia and weird things (uh, Mesquite, anyone?)....but this is just a sweet batch of very synthetic Pina Colada. And it is STRONG. Anyone that says Demeters don't have the sillage or longevity just need to try this one out. It's tenacious. I'm borderline headachey over this one, in fact. It smells delicious, if a little fake...but I'd rather have the real thing. Very very pineappley.

At the price of 10 e I gave myself the illusion of lying on a Bora Bora beach. Too bad it lasts only minutes. It does not seem synthetic to me. It runs smooth on my skin. Sure at first it reminds me of the drink but after that it gets powdery and fresher. Yummy and elegant .i wont give up on this...ever

the opening smells exactly like a pina colada drink, not something id wanna smell like unless i was at a beach or out on a hot hot day, however the drydown is this beautiful pineapple coconut smell and i just wanted to keep sniffing my wrist every 10 minutes and wish it would never fade away

This is my fav Demeter so far! Smells exactly as intended and has a longevity of 3 hours on me. Excellent purchase for only $20/120 ml

Quite artificial, pineapple stands out the most. Not enough coconut in this concoction for my taste.

Smells pleasant for 30 minutes. Gone in 1 hour. Even at $20 it's not worth it.

Spot on. Not terribly perfume-like but very true to its subject. Lots of fun.
