Pixie Dust

I got this as a free gift when I made a purchase from their site but omg the second I smelled it, I was immediately taken back to when I was a child applying those rollerball lip glosses my mom would buy for me. It doesn’t help that the scent was in their roll on perfume oil bottle. It's sweet, but not overpowering at all. It also smells like those fruit candy drops coated in powdered sugar that's usually sold in a tin can (also another childhood favorite.) It doesn’t have much longevity sadly.

Call me biased because i was a 2000’s baby but this is what childhood smells like and I love it!!! I have a distinct memory of a product that I used to own smelling like this I’m not sure if it was a body wash or a lotion, or a perfume or roll-on glitter but this is a very nostalgic sent for me and I’ll probably wear it to be honest. Now... is it most wearable for the average person? probably not but do I care not really it brings me joy.

I have this, it's nice on me it smells like strawberries, young girls would love this,smells like a little kids fragrance, it's ok,nice to leave in a bag if you need a quick pick me up. I like it enough to keep,not to buy for myself, if I need a gift for some younger girls,it's perfect,age range 10-15 or if you like smelling like strawberries, i dont mind it,be warned of you wear this in a field or park,the bees might come after you.

I don't know how everybody is calling this a strawberry scent. For me, this is a beautiful sugared plum scent. Smell any "sugar plum" candle around christmas, it's that same light, sweet mild fruitiness that's not at all cloying or sharp. It's that "I can't quite put my finger on it" type of fruitiness that makes this scent so whimiscal, light and fluffy, almost. This is an all time favorite of mine, an absolute love.

This is great! I tested this at Boscov's. I immediately detected juicy gummy bears on first whiff, but then it settled into a cherry Jell-O type scent. It reminds me of the yummy "Juice Bar" gummy bear fragrances they used to sell at Wal-Mart in my childhood. I would buy this.

Such a great layering scent. I like it with Henry Rose Windows Down, which I find suffocating on its own. The longevity is poor which is typical of Demeter, so I often put this scent on just to go to bed to make myself happy. Don't spray too much.

This is my favorite out of the 5 Demeter scents that I bought. Pure sugar with a touch of fruit.... smells like strawberry to me. Perfect candy-like scent! Very sweet & simple fragrance, I'm looking forward to buying the matching body products

This is a great light scent perfect for Spring or Summer. It reminds me of my childhood. It smells almost exactly like my strawberry shortcake dolls I had as a kid. It's like nostalgia in a bottle!

Haha awe this is cute! This smells different on clothes than on skin. Clothes keep it cool and the skin kinda warms it up. I personally like it when it stays cool instead of warming up on my skin. The opening smells a little different than the dry down. It almost gets stronger and warmer on the drydown. Someone said it smells like dry jello mix and I totally get that! Someone also said i smells like cough syrup... I get that too unfortunately. It would be really good for spring and summer. This makes me giggle like a kid at first. Its so strange xD. One thing though. The first whiff always seems to be better than what comes after... idk its almost like the top notes just run away after 3 seconds and then your left with the middle and bottom notes. Its unfortunate because I love the top notes. Definitely a nice summer day. Almost reminds me of when I was in elementary/middle school and every girl would smell like strawberries or candy. Very summery :) Edit: the drydown is really getting to me. Kinda giving me a headache. Its like super warm strawberry cough syrup.. verdict. Strawberry, chamomile, and soft vanilla. The chamomile in this keeps it from being too sickly-sweet. I love that dry hay smell...! Perfect for the idea of a little pixie. Although, probably not a Brian Froud one -it's a little too synthetic candy-esque for that- but I love the mix of sweet and earthy! I really want to play around with layering this, just to push it a little further on the earthy side. @KylieBooFace Omg, I LOVED those "Juice Bar" body sprays. I wore the cotton candy one so much my mother banned it from the house! My brain just got sucked down the memory aisle with Lisa Frank and Sailor Moon school supplies... o.o

Exactly the scent of the sparkly Lip Smacker gloss in the flavor spun sugar... it was the pink one in the liquid Lip Smacker set and I remember wearing it (and licking it off my lips) religiously in the sixth grade. Not typically one for gourmands, fruity scents, or overly sweet frags but this one feels so earnest and fun. A girly, silly, cotton candy dream with the subtlest bottom note of sour-spiciness that—so long as you've willingly signed up to smell like a seven-year-old's fairy princess fantasy—prevents the sweetness from being too cloying. I love her!

Pink, sugary and sweet, this fragrance reminds me so much of my youth. I second those saying it smells similar to pixie sticks because it does. It definitely gives those early y2k vibes, kids bubble bath/shampoo/hand sanitizers. Also brings me back in the day when I used to play with my Barbie’s. If you ever had the white hello kitty soap in 2013, this smells very similar to it but a more warmer version. Not for all age groups, more fit for pre-teens and young girls, very youthful scent.

I received this is the form of the perfume oil roller ball when I placed an order with Demeter. This smells just like the Strawberry Bon Bons candies (the strawberry candies wrapped in the strawberry wrapper). It's a pleasant Spring/Summer gourmand scent. The scent is very young smelling, in the same what that Aquolina Pink Sugar is very young smelling. I enjoy this, and am glad I got the chance to smell it.

I received this free with a purchase. Of all the things I wasted good money on, this was the best thing in the box. Very happy to have received it. Very sweet, which is my jam (ba dum tss). I agree with Peachy_Lili - it reminds me of old school lip gloss, in the best possible way, though I had not been able to place it as such, til reading her review.

I really like this fragrance to put me in a good mood. It's light and bubbly and would be really nice for in the morning or a summer's day. It has a juicy fruitiness to put, like the fanciest body spray you could get a Claire's. It would be perfect in a hot pink bottle. It's like if you soaked cherry gummy bears in champagne and pink lemonade.

I am so surprised there are not more reviews of this perfectly "pixie" scent since it is always on the most popular list on demeter's website. This to me is a what a little pink fairy would smell like defiantly not Tinkerbell who is adventurous and daring but a soft spoken baby fairy flitting about. My all time fav!!

Smells exactly like a juicy drop pop or pixie stix. It's insane how they have captured that fruity sour candy smell in a bottle. Definitely not something I would wear as I find it to be too strong for my nose, makes me feel a little sick. But its probably my most interesting perfume.

I use this shower gel very often, it's lovely and simple. Very gentle, makes me smile :) That being said it's nothing special or fancy, the smell doesn't last but it's pleasant enough for me to keep buying it and enjoying the smell while in the shower.

Sugary sugary fairy. It's so sugary you can feel their tingly wings around, trying to lick you. Good thing for a fairy worshiper or some fairycore aesthetic. It may be a little childish but sometimes we need that childishness don't we.

Juicy, jammy, nostalgic. Suddenly I'm 11 years old, buying roll-on glitter at Bath & Body Works with my mom before satisfying my curiosity around Hot Topic to the extent that my fearful childhood mind will allow.

@ xpaperdoll below described this fragrance perfectly. I actually like Pink Sugar and it's true that Pixie Dust smells nothing like it. Pixie Dust really does smell like a tart candy necklace and it's delightful!

A very sweet and cotton candy-esque scent that layers quite nicely under other fragrances. It lingers fairly decently on the skin and clings very strongly to clothes.

It smells like cotton candy with a hint of something fruity, maybe strawberries? I love it, not too overwhelming.

this does NOT smell like the strawberry shortcake dolls imo. kinda disappointed but it still smells nice. it reminds me of a lipgloss i had as a kid. ive been searching for years for a perfume that smells like the strawberry shortcake dolls or the first gen mlp dolls and ive learned to not get my hopes up sadly. i get a plum note ? and definitely a deeper strawberry scent but its pretty much just sugary fruit. everyone saying its an immature scent is correct, but i did not buy this wanting to wear it everywhere so i dont mind :) it DOES feel and smell very reminiscent of something i cant quite put my finger on. very nostalgic.

Got the purse mini, to me it smells like one of those sour lollies you drink when you're younger. Or a strawberry shortcake mcdonald's lipgloss toy. Definitely nostalgic but I wouldn't wear it, too young and a bit headache inducing for me.

Remember when you’d get Pixie Stix, and accidentally breathe in a bit of the powder? This is just like that.

Very very sweet sugary strawberry scent!

When I initially got this scent in the mail, I was convinced I didn't like it as I had been testing a slew of scents that whole period. But when I revisited it a week or so later, I just got an immediate Claires/Justice vibe or just something the bath and body works would use as a fragrance for those hand sanitizers with too much glitter. It's a tad juvenile, but I wasn't expecting a sexy scent; just something cute and bright. It's just a bit too bright and smells just like Febreze.

I thought I had discovered something great (or at least good) the first minute I sprayed this, but that dry down... Let me just say that this reminded me of the pink liquid antibiotic I used to take as a child. I mean full-on bubblegum mixed with synthetic strawberry (or some kind of 'berry') with the after-smell of chalk. Wow, the flashback was intense with this one! Never would I put it on my skin, but thanks for the memories Demeter lol!

Maybe I'm biased because I was a tween in the early 2000s, but I can't get past how Fairy Dust smells like a fragrance from Claire's or Limited Too when I was 10. If you're going for that Y2K vibe and want to be as authentic as possible, this might work for you, but it's a no for me.

I wanted to like this but no. It's like one of those kid's "Disney Princess" scents from the drugstore. Overly sweet, and that's about it. Sugar sugar sugar with a dash of raspberry medicine.

It was a blind buy for me - not worth it. Like the other reviews say, it smells incredibly artificial, and is probably more suited for a tween-aged girl.

I had originally bought this as a layering scent, the opening notes are very chemical (much like other scents from Demeter). It smells perhaps the exact way you'd expect for the first 20-30 minutes, sickeningly sweet and almost headache inducing. Reminded me of any typical mid-2000's body mist from B&BW or VS. What I find odd is that after that initial sugary sweetness, there sets in this overpowering smell of children's cherry flavoured medicine, that thick pink liquid we all had to take growing up. The smell made me nauseous. If you are looking for a single-note scent that is strongly sweet, there are far better options out there for a similar budget, this one is headache inducing and smells like antobiotics.

Bought for my sister about a year ago.. she describes it as burnt sugar. i'm inclined to agree. It has a sour overtone but it smells good on paper and its floral undertones are SUBLIME. If only the caramelized-sugar syrup scent was not so prominent. It's a little too dark and heavy for a concept like "pixie dust," with such airiness and levity. Smells like if Tinker bell had teen angst

Immediate note of caramel on first spray, and then settles into flowers, sugar, and powder. Smells incredibly nostalgic, but can't be fully placed. Brings memories of young 2000's girlhood, Disney World candy stores, online fairy dress up games, and sugar sticks. One of the "childlike wonder" scents of all time. As someone who owns the entire Demeter lineup, this is one of the best.

Very sweet, strong sugary smell. Was hoping for more of a lighter airy sugar fragrance, I Definitely pick up on the sourness. it is a little too sharp to wear in my opinion but may be more wearable for layering with maybe a more powdery soft scent to get that soft sweet candy vibe. I think pairing it with yara will give me more of that soft really sweetness that I want.

Brisk passion fruit and sugar. Sweet and for younger audience. It's relatively light, not overpowering, therefore good for refresh spritzes. Safe for daytime. 1-2 hours longevity. Great gift for a teen or anyone that likes sugary scents. Sort of reminds me of Pink Sugar by Aquolina, only difference here is passion fruit note evens out the sugar.

I can see this being well-loved by younger girls. I love the notes of mixed fruits and effervescence, quite pixie stick-like. However something to be aware of is the note of Mr. Bubble/soapy violet, and I personally can't tolerate that note.

Sprayable pixie stix! 🍓 Really cute and layers well with other berry scents. I love the combo of this with Burberry her Elixir or Intense 2024, if you're a sweet fruit scent lover you must try !

This is really GOURMAND. A delicious scent of strawberries champagne, and creme'. Delicate and innocent. A magical scent that will make all your wishes come true!
