Pizza

Yeast. I eat pizza more than basically all else and am not ashamed to say it. This is the smell of yeast however.

Had to buy 10 bottles, not because it smells great but because it tastes good.

Don't be shocked or offended by the scent of this fragrance. People asked, and Demeter delivered. This is a perfectly accurate, photorealistic take on that classic, familiar pizza scent. Tomato sauce, milky mozzarella cheese, crispy bread, and oregano are all present in this absolutely marvelous, gourmet blend! There is a bit of a cognitive dissonance issue going on when you first smell this fragrance and I don't blame you; it's not very often that we expect the smell of savory food when spraying cologne or perfume. But experience this fragrance blindfolded, or at least with your eyes closed, and you'll be able to appreciate the genius behind one of the most successful, accurate Demeter fragrances.

Got a tester just because I was curious and it did not disappoint! On my skin, I get crispy pizza crust and melted cheese, with a little bit of tomato. Though it's mostly a warm / savory bread-y note. Smelling it makes me kind of hungry. I had my husband try it, and he said it reminded him of Little Caesars and Chuck e Cheese pizza. Weirdly we both like it but also feel like it's also bit... trashy? In the best way. Like it makes you wonder what kind of person would wear this, and where? Staying power isn't amazing, it doesn't last long on me. I won't be buying a full bottle but I'm really glad I tried it. It's realistic and a lot of fun to experience!

I just got the mini splash version. I was shocked to discover how accurate it is! Though it pretty much smells like canned tomato sauce in the bottle, it becomes a much more diminutional, full-bodied scent on skin. You can smell baked crust, herbs, and sour tomato sauce (it's actually rather like those cafeteria pizzas with too much sauce). Terrible for a fragrance but a great addition to any adventurous collection. It's always great to just whip it out for a sniff.

I tried this out of a maddening curiosity, as I expect most people reviewing it do. So far, this is the most accurate and realistic of Demeter's weird novelty gourmand scents that I've tried. I would not say that it smells exactly like pizza, however. It does smell like tomato sauce and something else that strikes me as slightly funky. Another review mentioned yeast, and I think that might be it. Maybe that's the cheese note; I have no idea since I've certainly never smelled a cheese note in any other perfume before. I don't really get any oregano or other Italian spices, though my husband thought it smelled a little like a classic oil & vinegar salad dressing. The opening did remind me a bit of vinegar, but then it started smelling more accurately of tomato sauce. Still, not really pizza. More like some of the components of pizza. I do not think this makes a wearable perfume, though I hadn't really expected it to be. I still give points to this offering from Demeter for at least *approaching* a photorealistic pizza scent, and I still kind of think everyone should at least give this one a sniff, just for the interesting experience.

I bought a sample because my curiosity got the better of me. This is far and away the most cursed fragrance I own. It smells insane, definitely like pizza but extremely yeasty and lactic to the point it made me gag. It fades quickly, which is good, but it projects like crazy. One spray on a test strip made my entire room smell like a Little Caesars mixed with a men's locker room so if you buy this maybe test it outside. All this being said, it was $6, and I don't regret purchasing it just to have on my perfume shelf as a conversation piece.

I could see this maybe working to scent a room but not a person. I could imagine some restaurants spraying it in their vents to make it smell even better. Maybe if it's cheap enough it could be used as a novelty or prank gift.

A cute novelty thing, nothing more: performance is weak and the smell is pretty awful...more like stale cheap pizza.

When it comes to making something photorealistic, this is a perfect example. Smells exactly like a cheesy pizza. If you are looking for that, then go right ahead. As for me, this is absolutely disgusting and in my opinion, it is because of fragrances like this, that unusual scents get a bad reputation. Vile, disgusting, the only perfume ever making me gag. Bought a bottle, smelled it, and threw it away.

My 10 years old son ask me to buy for him, he is a huge pizza fan. So it’s doesn’t smell like a fresh baked pizza, it’s smells like the pizza was eaten and realised from the mouth back again 🤢🤮 Any way I have about 6-7 perfumes of this brand, it’s cheap enough, but I’m not happy with any of it. It’s cheap cheap air freshener

Yup, this is now in my collection. What can I say, it piqued my curiosity! At first spray, my visceral reaction was an intense desire to bite into the warm, gooey slice of imaginary pizza that was floating in the air. Demeter nailed it. You can clearly sense the melty cheese, the savory tomato sauce, and the bready crust. I sprayed some on my husband too. To both of us, the dry-down smelled more like "warm italian bread" and less like cheese or sauce. Which is a good thing; who really wants to emanate a cheese scent??? All in all, I would never actually wear this. It's really just a novelty item to me.

Horrifically delightful. Got this as a joke and well.... it smells exactly how it should. It smells a bit closer to garlic bread, mostly just herby and cheesy to me. I’ll admit I was too afraid to put this on my skin because just spraying a bit on paper made the entire room smell, and not even an open window could save it. Thankfully the sample sizes are really cheap because I just HAD to know how this smelled! 0/10! Hate it but love it at the same time lol, it makes for a great novelty/gag (literally) gift.

Very unusual. I guess that is what I should have expected when I bought the bottle. It does smell a bit like pizza, but the cheap and nasty kind you might get for $3. I smell processed cheese, I smell oregano and I smell toasted bread. Over time the toasted bread smell lingers the most. Does it meet the objective? Yes. Is it wearable? Doubtful. It is very potent and nasty on the onset so I recommend only spritzing the tiniest amount.

As Tiger King Joe Exotic once said in a thick southern accent while on methamphetamine "You Like Peekza?" I do in fact like pizza, and this smells like cheap frozen pizza 🍕 Not gourmet pizza or even Pizza Hut level, but the cheap stuff from Walmart. I have no idea why my friend bought this but it's really not wearable. Oh, and the performance is not good which was a relief, because I wanted the smell to go away.

When thinking about what to get my 15 year old son for his birthday, who can eat pizza all day everyday if I let him, this sounded about right. He can chose to wear this and keep those teenage girls away, or prank his cousins by spraying this on them~

This is such a weird smell, it smell exactly like a pizza on your skin. Is it good? Well, it is a very special smell. Longetivity is very short which is both good and bad. Since it is so cheep I would recomend a try.

It really does smell like pizza--it's the cheese and oregano, I think. I bought a sample for fun I like to sniff it occasionally when I come across it in my collection.

ahahaha.. very funny.. I think it should be sprayed around the kitchen... Or if you applying to be a chef/waiter in a pizza restaurant, then this is the time...

This is an absolutely crazy idea, but as an owner of a pizza restaurant I would make my employees to wear it not to disturb my customers with other smells.

Lol, why wouldn't anyone want to smell like a pizza.....when there's 100 other gourmand fragrances out there that makes you smell like a lollipop, instead.
