Raspberry Jam

wasn't expecting to adore this as much as i do! i normally don't go for super-sweet gourmands but i happened to pick this up in a shop and immediately fell in love with it. i don't get the vinaigrette that other reviewers have talked about so much, aside from something a little tangy; to me this scent evokes the jam in the center of thumbprint cookies or jelly donuts. at the same time, it doesn't smell artificial or too candy-like in a way that would make the sweetness come off as juvenile. i do wish demeter perfumes lasted a bit longer, but i usually only find that i need to reapply once if i want the scent to last all day, so for the price point i'm not mad about it.

This is one of those Demeter hits where people just have a visceral reaction after smelling it on the skin and from my splash. It's sweet, tart, and just a gorgeous gourmand that I honestly can't find myself able to put it down. It also feeds into my need for kind of "goth gourmands" something not really dark, but sour and tart. The burst of a tangy marmalade is one like the puff from a cartoon witch's brew that makes your nose tickle as it wafts into the air. I've been into sweet berries and jammy sort of caramelized scents, this just takes the cake. It's so fun and is just cute without feeling too "juvenile" for me.

This is SO incredibly delicious that it is almost impossible to describe it in words! But I’ll try: Realistic scent of the most sweet wonderful homemade marmalade, while the fresh raspberries are also in the top note. Expect to be showered with compliments when you wear this....especially from men! They become like "flies around a sugar cube"! :)

In the opening, this is all thick raspberry jam...mmm! And I love the little icon of toast&jam, lol. However, this gets sweeter and sweeter the more it dries, so I feel it starts to step a bit away from jam and into more of a syrup or raspberry filling/candy territory. This is also one of the few Demeter's I've seen that does not have clear fragrance oil. It's a peachy/blush color, so I have no idea if it would stain clothes, but it did fade on the paper swatch I sprayed it on... *witchcraft* Yahm!

Perfume oil: Weird for a one-noter, this one has actual progression. Very first sniff is raspberry and vanilla cake. That quickly moves into a raspberry candy (Jolly Rancher), and after about 15 minutes becomes a more natural but still very sweet scent. It lacks the underlying tartness of a homemade or "gourmet" fruit jam, so I guess it's store brand LOL. It doesn't last long, maybe an hour or two? Still, a keeper in my berry collection!

A really nice tart and sweet raspberry scent, I expected it to lean juvenile, but it manages not to. Perhaps a bit feminine, and a slightly dusty smell is throwing me, but it's great for layering.

Chambord liqueur that's what this is. Black raspberries, vanilla and cognac. Never smelt anything so delicious in my life. This review is for the Demeter Perfume Oil Roll-On.

I really loved this.... And then I really didn't love this lol It's water in your mouth good but then gets sickly sweet (trust me, if something is TOO sweet for me.... It's grossly sweet! Lol) I wouldn't wear this in the hot summer. I'll try it again in the fall/winter and see if I get the same reaction

Perhaps it's just my nose, but this is by far one of the worst perfumes I have ever smelled. I had the chance to smell this in a shop while I was out with a close friend. We were both repulsed. It was sensory overload for the both of us! It smells like raspberry salad dressing that has been expired for many years. I wish I could get the raspberry jam donut smell that a lot seem to smell in this, but I just don't smell it whatsoever. This fragrance is repulsive.

A cross between Swedish fish and blue sour patch kids

Raspberry vinaigrette. That's what you have here.. very strong balsamic vinegar note and makes it smell more like a salad dressing vs a jam. Smells tasty sure but I'd rather put this on a salad. Its a bit off putting even though the vinegary aspect dies down a lot as it dries and you're left mostly with a pleasant but synthetic powdery raspberry so if you can get past the initial half an hour. I was searching for something like harvest raspberry from The body shop which is unfortunately discontinued .. this isn't it. Longevity is okay-ish for a EDC.. but for the price I wasn't expecting a lot just something that smelled like raspberry.

Probably the perfume I have most compliments wearing... And people are so expressive like: "OMG, you smell SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!" And yes, it does smell SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!! I really don't get the "oriental vanilla" thing... Huh? It is pure sticky fruity raspberry jam, a little sour so it doesn't give you heartaches. I never smelled something like this, except in another Demeter scent called Badtz Maru, which is Raspberry jam with a different name. For me, it has been a love at first sniff and that's still a big big love after 10 years.

Raspberry fig jam than just monotonous Raspberry jam. Kinda close to thw real thing tbh. Sweet, smokey, raspberry jammy/ jelly, slightly musky, and slightly synthetic. Not bad and has good projection.

Raspberry jelly like the type it is used for donuts. Very fun scent. I have it in the shower gel and love it. I will also get the EDT. Sometimes I enjoy very simple, fun scents.

This scent is tangier than I expected — more like the filling inside a tart raspberry jelly than a jar of sweet jam.

VERY sweet raspberry. I used to layer it with pineapple. I ran out of this scent very quickly.
