Redhead in Bed

Insane story. I am not in big love with it, just like it, because it is extra strawberry thing, but its like drug to me. From moment when I bought it I left behind my other cool perfumes and I am using only this! I could not believe it either! Because I am a person of random things, I love changes and was changing perfumes every each day. My man says that I am covert alcoholic :D But I don't even drink, maybe a little bit at the occasion. Madness. When it will stop?

At first I didn't like it, just from sniffing the bottle top. It smelled cheap and plastic-y. Buuuut, I bought some of Lush's "Yummy Yummy Yummy" body wash and wanted something strawberry to go on top (I'm really into layering), so I thought what the hell and tried "Redhead" on my skin for the first time. It's really not atrocious. It is definitely STRAWBERRY, just strawberry syrup with a hint of lady's powder and lots of sugar. Alone it is probably almost childish, like strawberry bubblegum (which isn't a deterrent for me since I like smelling like a candy dish) so you might wanna layer it over something else with more depth - like Demeter suggests you do. And yes, I am a redhead and that is the main reason this bottle ever ended up in my possession. Happy occurrence. I want a big bottle of it...! Edit: So the Body Shop strawberry body butter goes fantastically with this. They both have that tasty, candy-sweet vibe going for them. Edit #2: revisiting this now in 2026 since I still have an almost full bottle. Straight from the bottle this stuff is so overwhelmingly sweet to me now. Like a super sugary "girly" drink from the bar. Wow, my palette is not as tolerable of this as it used to be. I might be decluttering this from my collection :s

I hated this scent! It smells like an alcohol and fruity candle (it has a burnt smell to it). I think I'm going to put this up for swap or ebay. Hopefully the other demeter scents aren't this bad.

I had this one a while ago and returned it immediately. It was an immediate "nope." It was way too strong, shrill, bitter, and boozy.

Fragrance Review For Red Head In Bed Demeter Notes: Strawberry Lemon Gin Grenadine Sugar This redhead went to a nightclub the previous night and had way too many strawberry daiquiris and fruity boozes with citrus - mojitos, gins, and cocktails. This is a sweet fruity cocktail drink. It can get rather cloyingly sweet so to be honest I don't wear this out in public. There's as reason this redhead is staying in bed. This is a fragrance to wear for yourself to enjoy when you're in the house by yourself. Raise your hands if you wear perfume for yourself at home when no one is else around. I couldn't be the only one. This is a delicious sweet strawberry, sugary, girly and fun. If others don't mind to smell this sweetness on you spritz on this strawberry and go out to cocktails and lunch with it. It's like a Sex In The City Girls Night Out Ladies Night type of fragrance. Wear it to bars. Wear it to parties. But I prefer to wear it at home when I feel like staying in on a Sunday morning. The scent seems to be a lot of things in a boozy mixture: citrus, sugar, grenadine, gin and that big strawberry. This is nice. Thank you Demeter Fragrances.

This was horrific. I bought it because I'm a redhead and figured I could keep it as a "funny thing" even if I didn't like the smell of it, but dear lord no. After smelling this I never wanted to see the bottle again, so I threw it away. Imagine drinking a bunch of super sweet cocktails and then throwing up on the floor of a public restroom. That is the exact smell I get from this perfume. But I have myself to blame aswell, I was never a big cocktail drinker, I tend to stick to my scotch. So I guess there was never even a slight chance of me enjoying this scent. Oh well. Now i know better!

Smells like a delicious strawberry daiquiri. It's a fruit cocktail with a big strawberry flavor. I wish it could last longer. It feels like I drank it in one gulp and I'm thirsty for more. Boozy. A party perfume. I wear this to parties but only other girls seem to appreciate the scent. I don't think guys find it very appealing. The strawberry is really standing out but for me it's not as fruity as other fruity candy or fruit floral scents. It's clearly trying to smell like booze. It's like cocktail breath or burping after having had too much to drink. Burp. Excuse me. Delicious!
