Saltwater Taffy

I love this scent! Sweet, creamy, lightly salty, absolutely delicious. And I got great longevity out of it - 3+ hours without respraying, which I think is very impressive for Demeter. Well worth the $10. Would repurchase.

Hate to be that person, but I really can't stand this fragrance- at least when it's first sprayed. After it dries down (maybe an hour later) I find it to be still strong, and a bit more balanced. When its first sprayed, it's overpowering, and sickly sweet (and not in a good way). I find it so offensive I haven't even worn it yet- I've only just sprayed it on paper. So yeah, not a home run in my opinion. At least I only spent $6 on the small size...

I did not like this at all. The water notes make it smell kind of like sunscreen in a bad way. And I LOVE saltwater taffy from Shriver's in Ocean City NJ.

Unfortunately this was a hard pass for me. It just smells like strong powder. Vaguely sweet, but completely unidentifiable.

Buttery-silky, salty-sugar. I actually received this as a free 15 mL roller oil from a Demeter order. It’s deceptively simplistic but very mouth watering and layered incredibly with a variety of different perfumes. It reminds me of clean skin but covered in a magical edible body oil. It somehow smells human but candy-like at the same time. It’s spot on for saltwater taffy, that mouth watering gooey texture and vanilla-sugarcube sweetness with a big smack of butter. The cornsilk note in here is what I assume is creating that skin-like feel. I might need to look for that note regularly in perfumery now, I really love it.

Ah man, when first applied this is amazing. Smells exactly like the saltwater taffy from the Ye Old Fashion Confectionary stores. But after an hour it turns into men's cologne on me. So weird! No idea what's up with that! I'm going to give it one more try, because YUM! to those first 45 minutes. Longevity is surprisingly long after it turns into man cologne.
