Twilight Orchid

Sweet and soft. you have to get really close to smell it. The amber warms the flowers and creates a nice balance. I didn't get any fruit or oud, which I'm okay with. I just wish Demeter would make pure perfume...

A whisper of a fragrance and a skin scent. It's nice while it lasts, but that isnt very long. It's gone in about 30 minutes. There is no dry down - it's too short-lived for that.

Fragrance Review For Twilight Orchid Demeter Fragrance Notes yuzu, pink grapefruit, jasmine, orchid, agarwood (oud) amber I love to reapply. This is one of the most beautiful sweetest fruity floral scents from the Demeter Fragrances. I really do prefer Aphrodite's Slipper Orchid which has a more exotic and sexier vibe, but this is nice. It has distinct scents of yuzu and grapefruit, which are strong enough in themselves as fruit. I happen to love yuzu and wish they'd bring back Mirabelle as a fruit note. This is a delicious fruit as it begins to wear on your skin. Then it turns into a floral fragrance of a pink orchid and white jasmine. I love orchids more than jasmine so for me any orchid fragrance is a treat. Now, this is not a realistic orchid as most orchid notes are synthetic but this doesn't make any less enjoyable. It's a pretty orchid. The whole thing turns into a warm amber or something like a light amber wood. There was also a hint of musk. But it's mostly amber at the end. I wish the agarwood had been stronger. This is not an oud. I have so many authentic ouds so I know that this fragrance was bigger on amber than oud. But it's a lovely orchid. The complexity and secretiveness kept me coming back for more. My mission became clear: I must decode her. But alas, this Orchid does not give up her secrets to just anyone. After following her trail for days and nights, all I have is a few of her aliases and some temporary addresses where she supposedly resides. I know this much is certain: she is a ballet teacher by day, and an exotic dancer by night. And both of her worlds know nothing of the other.

I agree with @Gigi The Fashionista in that I MUCH prefer Aphrodite's Slipper Orchid. I don't get any citrus, no real flower, no oud, not even a proper amber accord! All I get is a veeery powdery (and makeup-y) pink impression with a touch of earthiness. This is their attempt to make a proper perfume blend instead of sticking to recreating a scent. I wouldn't say they have succeeded although it seems to be popular.
