Zombie for Her

I'll repurchase this until I die. One of my signatures. So good for layering or alone. Wet soil and death. I like to pair it with Funerie from Pineward when I want to be avoided.

This is fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for. A perfect scent if you don't want to be bothered by other people. Reminds me of a bog. Love from the first sniff ❤️

Bought it for the teen daughter. Reminds me of their "Dirt " fragrance, only danker. Funny bottle and fun to smell :-)

If you want to smell like decaying leaves on a forest floor, this is the scent for you. I love it

super accurate and i honestly really love. i got samples of both zombie for him and zombie for her and truly the only difference is the addition of the wine notes for this one that makes it just a little bit sweeter. it takes a little of the edge off of the base fragrance, which truly smells like wet soil, decomposing leaves and worms. it smells like the woods from a point of decay and not freshness. honestly i think dank could apply as a word to describe this, but it really isn't repulsive or unpleasant. At first the soil and dirt comes to me and I really like that, and then there's the whiff or recognition of the rot in it. I really like it, not a daily wear for me but interesting and a little gross chic weird

Must change my review for the better. I love Zombie :) This scent suited me very well and I am very glad. Lately I like only pretty light, not chemic, not heavy scents because I have changed my diet habits to more pure, vegan, vegetarian. My body now don't want any Escada, Britney or similar scents. Yuck. So, this autumn mushroomy-mossy scent is eureka for me. I am freely working person, no-office lady, but home worker, walker of dog near the forest, so this scent is like for me. I live where autumn lasts long enough and is damp, wet and pretty dark, so again - this is my scent. Longevity is not strong on me, but its ok. My man is also in love with this weird scent :)

Not a pleasant scent, but I guess a zombie wouldn't smell pleasant so it accomplishes what it goes for. Upon first sniff on the skin, I got a camphor scent, that faded moderately fast into a wet soil scent. By the end, the green notes come to the surface and in becomes minty-sweet. On it's own, it's quite one dimensional, but I will try to layer it with some more conventional perfumes, to give them an earthy twist.

This one is almost identical to Zombie for Him, yet I DO get the wine dregs sweetness and I have to say, it only makes it worse. Dank mildew and fungal mushrooms plus dirt, moss, and cloying wine sweetness almost made me retch. It's a cute idea, given the current zombie hype, but it's not pleasant. It's all sweet rotting bodies, dirt, and mold. No thank you.

This is gross...it smells like IcyHot. Camphoric, pungent, and really medicinal. Someone recommended it to me, saying it would satisfy my craving for a fragrance that smells like a basement...but if my basement smelled like this, I'd move.

Okay, time for a proper review. Zombie For Her is getting so much bad press, but in reality there is no rot smell, or anything unpleasant. It's a pleasantly earthy mixture. As with most Demeter creations, it progresses rather quickly like an eau de cologne. The first spritz will have you wondering, "what did I just put on?!" But quickly, it settles to a very pleasant (to me) clean soil smell. Anyone who has worked in a greenhouse will immediately relate. There are also a couple of other accords layered here that lend a hand, along with the nice potting soil scent, is a "fresh air" accord ill call it. It smells like you're sitting outside on a sunny day potting plants! There is a slight fruity sweetness, the red wine accord which actually ties the scent together into something pleasant. Honestly, I read the "notes" but for some reason did not expect it to be so accurate! Demeter fragrances are so spot on with their headspace technology. Ill sum it up, you're outside, the sun is shining, laundry on the line, you're potting plants, its cooling in the evening and you catch little whiffs of your glass of sweet red sitting nearby on the table. A very comforting and familiar smell to me. Not something to wear out, or to work, but it is very successful at evoking a happy moment!

A friend got this for me as a humorous gift. Being a fan of Demeter's Dirt perfume, I find something a little repulsively joyful about Zombie For Her. The mix of green and mossy, wet mud. It reminds me of the smell of earth in the early spring when the snow has mostly melted, the ground is wet, mucky and the temperature is just getting warm enough that everything is fragrant with the partially decomposed leaves that have been buried through the winter. The red wine note is more apparent in the dry down, and renders a bit of a mouldy fruit smell to the composition, which settles in the back of the throat. Overall, Zombie For Her vibrates between a pleasant wet forest smell, and the displeasing odour of a compost heap. All in all I'm pleased to have it as a novelty item, but it's certainly not a wearable perfume (out of consideration for your co-workers, at very least).

I had just acquired Zombie for Him and Zombie for Her as gifts for my brother and his wife (they're die-hard zombie and Halloween nuts). But before sending the colognes to them, I just had to try them. Zombie for Her, like the Him version, pretty much follows the listed notes. It starts off with a strong mushroom and wine scent, not quite as much dirt as with Him. It soon dries down and mellows out, reminding me of grape Kool-Aid spilled on fresh-turned soil, with a hint of moss. The slightly cloying wine/grape-y note just makes it a little more disagreeable to me than the Him version (which I kinda like). Not horrible and definitely not an office fragrance, but not sure many woman would or could wear this, except for a Halloween costume or party.

Zombie for Her has a significantly wet-dark-mouldy slightly red wine-ish smell, mixed with a grassy, fresh-cut leaves scent in the beginning. It is quite unusual for me to experience, somehow, it makes me think of one of the FM perfumes, Une Rose, due to the red wine factor. Soon the scent gets a bit brighter with an addition of a cooling smell of something like baby powder, without the powerless. This perfume surprises me with all the positive vibe, somehow, Zombie does not have the typical Demeter’s cheaper, watery, poor longevity feel in it. I’d recommend to give it a try, it might surprise you how wearable and niche-ly beautiful it is.

Just received this in the mail and was very excited/apprehensive. Sprayed it on and PUHHHHHH it stank! Dirt and mushrooms is right, that sums it up for me. I gave it time to develop but I still didn't like it, though I usually like sweet, fresh or slighty spicy fragrances. This one smells damp and dirty. Good if you're into that, it captures a wet garden and dirt smell very well. The mushrooms kill it for me, not a big fan of mould smell (would never wear it at work).

Well...given the popularity of zombies right now im so excited about this!maybe they will find a way to bottle the essence of unicorn next.demeter never disapoints...fresh cut grass smells like fresh cut grass and omg when they made play-doh!!!.....think of it this way...when the zombies come we now know they smell like! **love it**

Having enjoyed a lot of camping trips as a young girl and enjoying wine as a woman... I can see myself enjoying this fragrance. Those notes, except for the wine, DO comprise the overall scent of being in a forest. Though it seems more like a room spray than something you'd put on your body.

I wish this was called 'forest floor' or 'fallen trees' or something. If I ever bought this I would paint this label dark green and trick myself into thinking that this was meant to be a forest scent. I guess this is truly marketing for teens? I love forest smells, I hate Zombies :D

Oh, very cool! I relieved this as a gift from a friend, and it does indeed smell very like "Dirt" and is very reminiscent of a musty basement, or forest floor in spring.

The idea itself is ridiculous and makes me giggle :D I would want to smell this perfume just from curiosity, no more. The picture is?..er...zombie-ish? :D
