Bubble

Monopteros is a perfume that I believe will not leave anyone indifferent. It's a totally different scent than anything I've ever tried. It is a fresh and aldehydic floral perfume, with this typical airy and soapy part, but adding a very important spicy and fruity part. At the center of the perfume is the rose, always present although very nuanced and modified by everything that surrounds it. The perfume opens with a mixture of raspberry and coconut (delicious) that at times reminded me a little of the smell of pineapple as they are worked here. Behind the rose, a coffee that dirty and darkens the fragrance a bit, also giving it a little more body, and a mixture of spices that gives body and personality to the perfume. The performance is moderate, with a medium duration ranging from high and a discreet projection. Yes, when it works well. If it works well and while it lasts: What a joy! Fizzy, strawberry milk bubble bath. It has a boozy like quality in opening but majority of the wear/experience is a soapy fruity floral. The soap aspect is nice, it's a squeaky soapy smell like if this was perfumed lotion rather than harsh soap like fabric softener. I don't typically like soapy perfumes and I'm considering this for a full bottle. There is definitely something milky here too. Not so much lactose that it smells like thick creamy milk but in a light foamy way like the sandalwood adding a creamy quality in the background. The fruity floral dies down a bit after a couple hours but this has great projection and longevity. I'd highly recommend sampling. Elegant.

The opening of Bubble is sparkly, tart, cheerful and fun. It reminded of the scent from pouring Champagne inside a Champagne flute filled with a little bit of Creme de Cassis at the bottom. Taking the first sip, it tasted tart, sharp, sweet, fruity and fizzy along with the taste of alcohol from the Champagne. Soon the scent moved on to the heart as the crisp, tart and sparkly feel subdued giving room for the smooth, soft, fruity and creamy floral notes and finally the scent ended with a soft, musky and sensual dry down. Bubble is a simple but fun fragrance. Wearing it makes me happy. I love it.

I just smelled it on a tiny sample spray, and it definitely smells like a fuzzy sparkling drink, the cassis comes later. I think it is a funny fragrance, like a gadget for a pool party... Just hope it lasted longer on skin...

Woaaahhhhh. This is like you throw champagne on you. I really like it, so funny and sparkling!!!!! I wish it was a bit cheaper though.

I was a little nervous to try this scent because the reviews said it smelled like old wine. On me, it smells soapy like I just out of the tub and I also smell a slight floral scent. The dry down, it does start to get a little musky and incense. My husband smells champagne or wine, but it's not an unpleasant scent. I will probably use up the sample but not purchase a bottle of this scent.

Intriguing fragrance. On my skin it dries down nice and fruity and I like it, but if sprayed on clothes it doesn't develop and just smells like you've had a drink spilled over you, which has put me off it slightly. 6/10

This smells like dried white wine spilled from the night before that's being wiped up with a generic janitorial soap. If you've ever worked in a bar or restaurant you know the smell and it's not pleasant. Thankfully it does not last long.

A little too on-the-nose spilled champagne/white wine for me.

Rarely has the essence of champagne been captured more beautifully than in Bubble. It really does smell eminently quaffable! There’s more to it, however, than just a flute of the good stuff. Cassis elevates it to Kir Royale status and the lightest and brightest of musks keeps the mood heady and cheerful. A lovely rose and a touch of warm sandalwood brings a bit of depth and chiaroscuro to the composition. It feels like there’s a party going on! I love it!

Champagne diet, 2 hour bubble bath, perfect clean skin, expensive af Japanese white strawberries that come in a tray. Light musk. You will literally smell like you had a champagne shower.

Wow what a fun fragrance--it really does smell like a fizzy, fruity glass of champagne. It's a little too realistically "wine-y" for me to wear daily but it's cool to sample.
