Match

To me the name Match here means a game or some kind of competition. Maybe I'll imagine it as a match of Polo or Cricket. It has a fresh and fizzy opening from the Grapefruit and Ginger notes and very quickly I noticed a leathery (Suede) note together with a rather strong rush of Cumin (maybe the body heat and sweat from the game). The heart of the scent then developed to be musky, somewhat powdery and earthy (maybe from the Iris Butter) together with a green, aromatic and quite noticeable but smooth and rounded Vetiver note that lead to the somewhat animalic ambery woody earthy and salty Ambroxan and Karmawood notes in the base. As a whole, Match is a very nice non-challenging scent unless the wearer can't stand Cumin or Ambroxan but personally I don't mind if these notes were even stronger.

Light woods, powdery-earthy iris and soft suede form the background against which aromatic-hot spices unite to form an explosive mixture. Inspired by a matchstick and skilfully staged. A very beautiful, strangely energising fragrance!

Pleasant and office-friendly timber, spice and orris (not much of it in it but definitely recognizable). Well-layered, polite, appealing. The spices are not in your face, the freshness is present but not sharp. Oak, vetiver, sandalwood with a bit of powder. Can't smell any realistic cumin or much suede. More of a bitter but quiet timber. A tasteful and interesting perfume.

To me this is a straight up "Santal 33" family with sandalwood pickles and woods. I really looove this scent profile!

The cumin bomb! I agree that there are indeed a lot of such fragrances on the market in different segments. It's well assembled, but there's nothing more to say about it.

Pieces of powdered wood wrapped in a smooth suede. It reminds me of the times when I was walking among the trees in the mornings of autumn, in the slightly cool air. It's almost therapeutic. A little dust, a little brushwood, a lot of peace.. At the end of the day, Match means comfort and peace for me.
