WOMANITY WOMANITY WOMANITY!!!!!!...... YES. =) I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT SMELLED SIMILAR, SINCE IT IS DISCONTINUED IN THE US AND HERE IT IS. I didn't know about this brand. I was in Sam's club and it seemed like a nice bottle and they had a tester when I smelled it. BOM... I said "What's this? What's this? There's color everywhere What's this? i smell things in the air" hahaha kidding but really said MUGLER??? (because it smell like it, and Not at the same time) but need it!!!!! because is the most similar to Mugler's fragrance that I have found. My bottle of womanity is almost empty. and they no longer sale it unfortunately😒. so, I bought it Got home and compare them in each arm. and yes! they are very similar but not at the same time. it is not a copy/dupe/inspire fragance Is more like a flanker as if you were changing/replacing note 🎵 The Fig -for- Caramel The Drifwood -for- Smokey wood The Sea Salt -for- Himalayan Salt The Caviar -for- Animalic notes The freshness for Cinamon. A winter version of womanity if that makes sense 👩🏫 is womanity? sort of. 👩🏫 is it exactly the same fragrance? Nop. 👩🏫 can you smell fig note? Nop. the sweet here is Caramel/Amber 👩🏫 recommend it? Yes for Mugler's lovers. 👩🏫 recommend it blindly? Nooooooo hell no 👩🔬It's not for everyone, just for people who like to explore and be different👽

I don't know if it is infact womanity that I kept trying to remember where I smelled this, or rather what it smelled comparatively like, but oh my goodness - ladies you have to at least try this! I have smelled a thousand frags (at least it seems like it with how many i have put my nose on), so it could be womanity that this is reminding me of, but oh lord - this is so damn sexy! Pardon, but I swear I can't smell this on my wife, I turn into a wild and savage beast! Lol It's sort of deliciously sweet yet somehow animalic in a way? But not the animalic way in which, say something like Kurous by YSL smells, nor something like Muscs Koublai Khan that some people say is overly animalic and raunchy even, no this thing just smells like sex in a bottle but in a soft and beautiful kind of way, it isn't by any means crude or suggestive but it just smells so darned good! Defintely glad my wife got this in her sephora sample bag! I am soon on the hunt for it so that she can wear it for me! :)

I I discovered derek lam's new line this week at nordstrom's. I smelled all 10, but this is the only one that really stood out to me. It's a simple scent but I can't deny that I really like it. The amber, wood, and caramel are in a real good balance. This scent reminds me of a certain version of very sexy from victoria's secret for days past. It smells musky to me too. I think this is an easy pick for a date or when you want to smell good in a flirty, appealing way. I added it to my want list, I know it seems stupid to want a $100 perfume that reminds me of something a friend paid $20 for back in the day, but I am a nostalgic person. Also the quality (projection/lasting power) is on point to make up for the price in some respect.

I am adoring this perfume stick of amber and sweet. The sweet reminds me of cinnamon, brown sugar and all scents of a Thanksgiving aroma. I do not smell the woody note that much due to the amber and sweet notes. It last for 6 or more hours which I really love. This is a fall/winter day fragrance and I apply 2AM Kiss on my inner wrists, neck, behind my ears and decollete area. I am very surprise of the price and the perfume stick is only sold at Nordstrom Department Stores. This perfume will be my ever day wear and I will be sniffing my inner wrist thru out the day which will bring a smile upon my face.

This is AMAZINGG. A perfume that definitely changes a lot depending on the person. Thankfully for me the salty note does not show up at all, which I get ALOT of if I just sniff the bottle, which I feel could turn some people off. When sprayed on me my skin chemistry turns it into this amazingly fresh super sweet caramel amber. Almost a sweet shampoo freshness in the very beginning, which I feel like is my skin chemistry turning the salty note into something so freaking beautiful. The dry down is a super sweet caramel musk. Definitely try it, it really is so special on the right person.

Was browsing around Sephora and the bottles of this line drew me in. This one really blew me away. It's spicy and salty, even a tad aquatic. To my suprise it's listed here as for women, doesn't matter, on me it stays very masculine and not even my wife thinks it's feminine. $120 for 50ml isn't steep considering the quality of the scent and how beastly it is without being nauseating. I've never smelt womanity, but I guess I should check it out. Guys don't be afraid to give this one a wear, if it works on your skin like it did mine you'll be pleasently suprised.

Back in the 90s there was a store in the mall called Georgetown Cotton and they sold all the cool edgy clothes. They had this rollerball perfume there called Vampire Blood or something like that that was definitely indie and I’d never find it again I’m sure. That’s what this smells exactly like. It’s very gothic and nostalgic. And idk why labdanum isn’t a note on here because it should be like the main one.

Look at the notes pyramid. Look at the bottle. Look at the price. Now do it again. It really is stupid simple and there's no need to complicate it. If you like amber + woody notes + caramel minus any attachments to high prices and complex compositions you'll love this one. I know I do.

This is a true oriental...animalic...primal...woody...at 1st spray I was taken a back but honestly I think I will love this in the fall/winter...warm and spicy beast. Not a safe blind buy yet I am intrigued. Love.

So beautiful and tasty! It’s definitely unisex but I can see how it could lean feminine. In my opinion, this would be a type of perfume a vampire would wear (in a good way)

I just tried this at Sephora yesterday. I want desperately to love it because of the name, and I almost do, but then...wait, what's that? I swear there's an ozonic calone-like note that makes me want to turn away from my wrist. I'm trying to sniff around it snd get to the part I like, but it's not happening. Ah, such is life. Thankfully that top note disappears after about 30 minutes, and I get to the good stuff. And if you like the listed notes, then you will probably enjoy this one. I wasn't really thinking about longevity or sillage when I put it on, but I got a compliment while I was shopping, and I could still smell it on my arm several hours later. All in all, good stuff. The only real downside to these new scents, because I sniffed them all, is the bottle design. Modern with clean lines, okay, but the cap just sits on the bottle and doesn't attach, which was rather alarming when I picked it up. This was my third favorite of the group, first is Something Wild and second is Blackout. Is it fb worthy? I'll have to try it again in warmer weather to be sure. And my husband liked it, so there's that.

I have to echo @luanneog 's sentiment: "I like and dislike it at the same time". There is just SOMETHING about this. It smells familiar and then not at all. It draws me in, and repels me. I don't want to buy a full size, but i need it in my collection. I smell the amber, the woods, and caramel separately...... and yet I don't. Do i secretly love it? No idea, but it tickles a part of my brain that only it can scratch. It's soft, but hard enough for a night out. It's femme with long hair from the back, then turns around sporting a goatee. What IS this? Never smelled Womanity, but the overall consensus is it's polarizing and weird. Which sounds lovely to me. If that is a more refined version of 2am Kiss, I'll be looking to try that soon. If you can find a sample, please get that first - this is definitely a love or hate, and I wouldn't suggest going at it blind, even though it is generally inexpensive. Definitely shines in cooler weather and at night.

Cinnamony, slightly fermenting cola drink with some spicy amber and woods. It reminds me a lot of a more modern, light and wearable version of Youth-Dew, and I think it's the mutual cola-like note. Youth-Dew is much more rich and beautiful, though. It also reminds me a bit of Raghba (though I hated Raghba and found the vanilla to be way more over-the-top and cloying) and Marc Jacobs Amber Splash, which in itself is a more modern and light easy-going take of a fragrance like Coco. 2AM Kiss nods to the '80s orientals without fully going there, and for those who like to smell them in the bottle but find them too old fashioned for you on the skin, this might be something worth trying out. I definitely like it and I find the stripped down cinnamon-cola take on this classic scent to be more young and fun, and it's certainly a perfect fall and winter scent. Definitely worth a try if you like the fragrances mentioned, especially for the price!

I impulse bought a bottle of this from TJ Maxx out of sheer curiosity. This smells like a perfume I would have worn when I was a smoker and enjoyed bar hopping. 2 AM Kiss indeed. It resembles something I wore then, but I couldn’t tell you what. There’s a spicy suggestiveness to it, and an almost menthol-like whisper occasionally.. the caramel comes through as a general sweetness to my nose. I kind of love it. It reminds me of bolder, more confident times in my life. I don’t know if it fits me now, my life is much softer and more casual these days, but I might throw it on occasionally just to revel in some nostalgia.

Although sweet I can definitely picture this as a unisex fragrance. Recently tested this and I'm not so sure how I feel about it still. I like and dislike it at the same time. It smells kind of vintage but in a good way. It's smoky, ambery, slightly spicy and a bit cloying. It smells somewhat of makeup and it reminded me a bit of the smell of Banana Republic Dark Cherry & Amber with Tobacco & Tonka layered together. I don't know what it ist but there's something off putting about it yet I keep coming back to it. It has a very strong longevity. There's something sexy about it. I could picture this for a night out.

Different, yet so familiar. 2 A.M. Kiss starts off very warm and ambery, then dries into something a bit exotic, like a caramelized sugar or a decadent dessert. I don't really get any woody notes, but find it a bit hard to believe there are only three notes present in this cologne. I think i detect a touch of vanilla, or maybe that's the carmel/amber combo. Quite sweet and comforting. Definitely not something I'm used to wearing. I like this fragrance quite a bit. I used only a small sample frome the Lam variety box, so I'm not sure if I like it enough to buy it just yet. I may update this review if I do.

This is nice. I get something almost fruity in opening and am not quite sure what it is, but it quickly gives way to a sweet amber scent. I don't find it too sweet or really get any of the other interesting impressions other reviewers have. One of my first fragrances was a handmade fragrance oil blend of vanilla perfume oil mixed with actual amber resin made for me by a family friend who was kind of new agey and always smelled of incense. This reminds me of a less sweet version of that. It's simple and comforting. Would be nice for fall.

i have sampled the Derek Lamb at Sephora, and this one is quite interesting!! It has character, it is sweet, but in a more grown up way, I detect a hint of spiciness, nicely done, longevity is good, it smells real attractive to my nose! I don't get any resemblance with Womanity that I can't stand.. Womanity is heavy on fig and resins, this isn't like that..it has its own little personality, is it worth the price tag?! In a way,yes, as it has a certain quality..the amber warms up nicely in the base..it is nice, smells nice, liking it!!

I received this perfume as one of the items in my Sephora Play! Box last month, and I'm torn. I thought it would be something I would absolutely love to wear, but I can't decide if it's because of the warmer weather that it seems so heavy or that it just has quality staying power throughout the day. It's rich, luxurious, and definitely gourmand, but it's one of those I would save for a night out or wear more often in the colder months. Just seems too heavy for Spring/Summer times.

Tried the solid perfume at Ulta today. Still there 5 hours later. I like this scent, but don't want it as my perfume. Strangely enough, I get a big COLA hit, just like Boys from Killian. They smell almost identical on my skin. I guess it's the caramel syrup I'm picking up rather than a caramel candy. Five hours into it and I am getting just a touch of "play-doh" which I normally smell with fragrances that list a salty note.

Though it is a caramel perfume and a few notes, this has more to offer, the hide freshness of this perfume along the floral sweet and a notorious woody/sandalwood base gives a good aroma with fruits and sweets. Great silage and projecting power for the first 30mins to and hour, is a good affordable option if you want something sweet and a bit of a different fragrance.

This is my favorite from the line, so far, but I don't like it enough to buy it. It is an interesting scent. I think it smells spicy, but no spices are listed in the notes. It is VERY salty on me. So much so, I feel a little sweaty when it's on my skin. It interesting, but not me. If I smell this on someone else, I'm sure I'd like it a lot.

This one smells like it could have been a draft of Prada Candy - lots of sweet caramel tempered by a warm, slightly resinous, salty note. It's one of the better Derek Lam fragrances, more sophisticated and interesting than the others. Not stunningly beautiful or groundbreaking, but pleasant nonetheless.

I personally love this. Long lasting and sweet and spicy.

It's okay. When Sephora was selling the entire line on clearance, I bought every one (I deeply regret it) I wanted the whole collection. Wholeheartedly, everything in this line is okay at best. I am SHOCKED these are considered designer. They are so bland. Nothing stands out. Extremely generic. 2AM kiss is fine. It's one of the better ones. At least it has a smell. But the others really just smell like they could have been from VS or some drugstore perfume line. I wish I could sell my bottles,but I'd never make back the money I spent on them. Do not blind buy, that's for sure!

This one is borderline for me, but I think it is a dislike. The amber is nice and strong, but once the woods fade away, all that's left is an almost syrupy-sweet amber that's nearly overpowered by the caramel. If you're searching for a very sweet amber, this will be right up your alley. Based on the reviews, it doesn't seem like it goes ultra-sweet for everyone who wears it, so sample it and see how it works with your chemistry. I have a regular sample spray vial, so I will try layering it with other fragrances, but it is not FB worthy for me. I much prefer the amber in Banana Republic Rosewood for an amber-dominant perfume since it is balanced by the slightly astringent tea and citrus. Update: Because of the amber, this one is actually fairly long-lasting on me as amber tends to grip my skin really well. If the sweetness were turned down, it would be a good layering option. The sillage is pretty good to, and it never turned into a skin scent, even though some concentrations of amber tend to do that.

This is a blind buy regret purchase! At Sephora VIB sale I visited 3 stores in Las Vegas to smell perfumes I want to buy but none of the stores had this one. I am returning it! On my skin it is animalic amber but not sweet caramel or woody. I usually love most amber scents but this perfume is a fail! It smells like a wet cat in a bad way. I have flashbacks to bad blind buys of M.Micallef perfumes that smell like this one and hate it! On the plus side this perfume is strong enough to last in 90 degree desert heat without fading fast and only on spray on each wrist was good enough to last hours (I scrubbed this off and covered it with another perfume after 4 hours so I’m not sure how long it lasts.) Do not blind buy this perfume find a way to test it on your skin!

I just got this in the mail today and I couldn't wait for it to get here but now I wish that it didn't come, all I smell is TM Womanity I'll just let this sit for a couple of months then revisit it hopefully it'll get better and I'll try to layer it with something idk what yet if that doesn't work it'll just sit in my collection because I wouldn't feel right about giving this to someone. But if you like Womanity you'll love this

Spicy amber, heady wood, and salted caramel. I thought I would adore this fragrance because it had all the right ingredients. But the more I smell it, the less I am impressed. Someone here mentioned that if you take a deep whiff, it is too much. They are correct, 2AM can be very strong up close- like burnt plastic and musk. The notes have been combined better in other fragrances.

This starts out better than it ends, which isn't saying all that much. It steadily builds into a heavy and cloying cloud on me. It's far too thick (could totally be the fault of FL heat/humidity). And a little bit choking. I find other reviewer's comparisons to caramel/holiday spice candles apt. It definitely has that vibe for me.

I didn't like this perfume. I blind bought the solid version a while ago (big mistake), and it reminds me of a badly-done cologne (the alcohol-like, overdone, and very overpowering scent). The longevity is pretty good, but that's all the good things I can say about it. This perfume was a disappointment.

I'm shocked this scent was so highly rated! It's often described as the best of the 10 Crosby scents. To my nose, it smells like a bad public restroom air freshener...mixed with a slight hint of the other odors common in such a location. Thank God I'm about to take a shower. I'd skip the whole line.

No..... Just no. I get soapy, waxy, caramel. Colorfulmess compared this to scented wax cubes and I have to agree. Usually I'll work my way through a sample just to give something a chance... But I gave this one away. A shame, especially because based on the notes I really thought I'd like this one!

This is the most disgusting smell I have ever smelled! I'm sorry if this offends some people but I cannot stand this smell. The interesting thing is that I really like all of the components listed here 🤷🏻♀️ Weird. It has something like dead fishy-sweat smell that is just 🤮. It's a huge 👎🏻 ❌ for me!

It's very very sweet. Actually, it's too sweet. And the sweetness is quite artificial and harmful to my senses. 5/10 I want to like it, but it's just too much for me.

Yes there are definitely notes missing from this pyramid. But now I'm wearing this with the deodorant smelling looking Glass and the 2 I don't like soften eachother

This was terrible on me. I bought this when Sephora was clearancing them out. What a mistake. It's been sitting in its box for about six months and I pulled it back out today to see if my opinion has changed (which has happened with so many other frags I have put aside to declutter). Nope. Not even a little bit. Straight up bug spray on my skin. And it lasts forever! Normally a good thing but in this case, yuck. I can't even scrub this mess off.

A stinky barn; wet hay, dried urine, and a strangely out of place sweet cinnamon candle which compounds the stench rather than easing it. Review of official sealed pouch sample that came free with purchase. Color of juice is dark yellow.

Oh wow. This perfume will NOT COME OFF of my skin, and I can’t stand it. The salty aquatic stench is all that I can smell and I’m about to saw my arm off. That is all.

Oh boy! I'm willing to accept that it must be my skin chemistry because, if it smelt on other people, like it does on me, I don't think anyone could like it. On me it is repulsive. Smells like strong BO - not even my BO - but like a teen boys' ball hockey locker room, after a tournament, on a hot summer day. ( Yeah, really, I've been there). And then someone has drizzled honey or golden syrup over the sweaty people. I thought I had learned my lesson and always sprayed paper first, and not directly on skin but, this time I was in a hurry and I thought, caramel and amber, how bad could it be? Well the answer is bad and for a long time. At first I wanted to see if it changed or got better but after 20 minutes I couldn't take it any more and tried to scrub it off. Hand soap and water, nope. Still there, still strong. A lemon scented lysol wipe, scrubbed up and down my arm...no...still there. Finally I rubbed almond oil into my skin and wiped it off and I thought the scent had gone with it...no...it's rising again as I sit here. Seemslike for me for a while at least, the whole world stinks. Can't recommend a blind buy.

This Is flat out a dupe for Womanity. And not a cheaper version, so that is kinda weird. Several of Derek Lam's scents smell very similar to other fragrances, imho. Ironically, they smell similar to fragrances that I like, so that isn't so bad. But there is no way that the two listed notes reflect what I am smelling here. I am pretty sure that Derek Lam is being intentionally coy with his notes so that the similarity to other fragrances isn't as obvious. This smells SO much like Womanity that I believe buying both would be redundant. That said, there is a bit less caviar/granite and more of a briney caramel in the mid-notes and dry down of 2 am kiss. It's pretty delicious, I'm just not sure it has enough variation from Womanity to justify the purchase. Over time the caramel starts to stand out, and It's a bit like Prada Candy and Womanity had a love child, minus the smoky dry down of Prada Candy. The result is juicy, but unoriginal.

This smells so much like Womanity on my skin it's not even funny. Smells to me just as figgy and animalic as Womanity. It even has that same kind of salty aquatic thing going on. The differences are that the fig - scent is juicier. The briny aspect is also cleaner lighter and less metallic and less in your face than Womanity. 2am kiss is more fig, champagne, and cuddles while Womanity is more fig, sex, and getting thrown into a cold unforgiving ocean It's weaker than Womanity and more expensive, but yes, very very similar. I'm tempted to say because of the listed note of caramel and it being sweeter, 2am Kiss is more wearable, but it's actually not because it's just as animalic. I'm very amused that this line is so unoriginal that it copied a scent that is mildly unpopular and charge more for it as if people wouldn't know what they were doing. In fact, this was the only "interesting" scent at all in the whole line. Awkward.

I was a little nervous about trying this one because of all of the bad reviews, but I absolutely love it and it reacts amazingly with my skin chemistry. It's a strong, rich salted caramel scent that isn't cloyingly sweet, it has sort of a sexy, animalistic edge to it that makes it different from other amber or caramel scents that I have tried. The woodiness makes this more androgynous and easier to layer with other fragrances. It's a muted woodiness that really does bring to mind a stolen kiss on a dark city street. I could see this maybe reacting a bit differently on another person's skin tone, the saltiness might not sit right with some, but for me, this is a great, romantic, cozy scent. I have so many day time fragrances, this was a really nice surprise. Definitely do not blind buy, but if you enjoy romantic amber or woody scents, I'd give a sample of this a shot.

2AM kisses are supposed to be gross and sloppy, right? Like in the back of the Uber while drunk and you dont really know the person that well. Except with this interpretation, in the back of the Uber you're also hauling along one of those scented wax cubes you put in a warmer with the name "Caramel Sticky Buns" or "Christmas Cinnamon Roll." In the first few minutes it's got a pungent animal smell if you breath in deep, which I don't recommend doing because you'll probably lose consciousness from the intensity. It smells similar to Kiste by Slumberhouse - which really does smell like the inside of a Kirklands during the holiday season. However, this one is less nauseating and I can actually stand it on my skin without scrubbing it off. It's got a bit of a vinyl stage which improves with time, but still the overall effect of sticky bun candle is still there.

Derek Lam fragrances take a few notes and make something really interesting. There are definitely more notes than shown. The top note has cinnamon and pepper and something metallic which reminds me a bit of La Vierge De Fer by Serge Lutens. That note is also what reminds me of the caviar note in Womanity. It's not the same scent, but it has the same vibe for me, and I'm not a fan of it. I do like the dry down of 2 AM Kiss which is warm and amber with some burnt sugar (less caramel, more brûlée). There is also an animalic note that gets stronger as the hours progress. Great longevity and massive projection. Be careful with that trigger finger - one spray is enormous.

I had no idea this went on clearance - I just scored a 5.9oz for $45. I've changed my mind about this being a Womanity dupe + Black Orchid (my original review in 2017). 2am Kiss still resembles Womanity. The metallic accord in Womanity is a smokey note in 2am Kiss. The green fresh spicy accord in Womanity is a sweet, nutmeggy/cinnamon spice in 2am Kiss. However, the basenotes for both fragrances are where they become different. Womanity gets crisp, salty, and metallic-y. 2am Kiss becomes mentholated like Carmex Lipbalm... it somewhat reminds me of CK One Shock for men or even Kenzo World Power. I'm glad I got a huge bottle to wear in the evenings in fall and winter.

I tried this on at Sephora and I was HORRIFIED. it smelled like plastic-y, fake, dollar-store lipstick. I think I left with something rose scented but as the night wore on I kept coming back to this scent and eventually returned the other perfume specifically to buy this. I've worn this out and told I smell divine. I think this is a rough one that you need to test first. I found it on sale at Ulta a year ago and it's a rare wear from me but prob my fave fragrance. if it gels with your chemistry it's a star. Cinnamon and musk...the sexiest perfume I've ever tried. Animalistic in the way Clean Skin is.

This was a blind buy for me. I got the bottle from TJMaxx for $13. I really love how complex and sexy this fragrance is. It smells very warm and comforting on my skin, and I don't get the heavy animalic or overly sweet notes that others are noticing. This is definitely a unique smell, and I think you have to be in a certain mood to wear it. It demands your attention, and it's hard to go "noseblind" to. It can't really say what it reminds me of, but immediately after putting it on, it felt familiar.
