What @JusttheFactsMan said. If you're in the market for LV Ombre Nomad, buy London Twilight instead. I wanted so badly to bash on this fragrance because I mostly hate dupes (despite owning about a dozen of them), but I was honestly shocked at how good of a dupe this is. First of all, I should preface this review by saying that I even hesitate to call London Twilight a dupe because, for me, to qualify as a dupe, not only must the frag smell like something else, but it has to have *intended* to copy something else. If not, it could just as easily be said that the perfumer independently combined the same scent notes without knowing that there was an "original." Destino makes no mention of Ombre Nomad, so I don't actually consider it a clone. (Although I think at least two of Destino's other fragrances may be Parfums de Marly dupes, so maybe it is some kind of covert dupe house? I still need to compare further...) I have one other Ombre Nomad dupe (Twist Shadow No. 63), so I know how this story usually ends. For some reason, almost all dupes are linear. They try to replicate the signature opening but don't evolve through dry down like most niche fragrances do. Shadow No. 63 has that dupe-flaw -- it mostly mimick's Ombre Nomad's rose-leather opening and mid. But it doesn't change into that creamier, almost sweet scent that Ombre Nomad turns into during the dry down. It just stays rose-leather, which, over time, is rather nauseating. Destino's London Twilight, on the other hand, actually does morph in lock-step with Ombre Nomad. And it's a more balanced rose-leather blend, where every other ON dupe is a little too rose heavy. By the end, London Twilight changes during the drydown, just like Ombre Nomad does. It becomes almost chocolate gourmand -- a welcome respite from that long-lived rose accord. That said, London Twilight is an imperfect non-dupe. Maybe I became nose blind during my testing, but I had a hard time smelling London Twilight after a couple of hours. It also takes longer for London Twilight to reach that sweet drydown phase. It was hours later, when it was almost just a skin scent, when I noticed it, where Ombre Nomad transitions earlier. Still, I'm nitpicking since I also have the original and can tell these differences first hand. This fragrance is a steal at $30 to buy essentially the same juice as a $375 bottle of Ombre Nomad. Highly recommended.

#891 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So that savings account you started so you could eventually get the $499 a bottle Louis Vuitton "Ombre Nomade?" Well get happy, because this is it for $34. Pretty much the same juice not-for-note. The leather, the raspberry and especially the incense are just a delight to my nose. Maison Alhambra took a run at this with Jean Lowe "Ombre" that's not bad, but not this good because of a that hinky raspberry note they use. Same one that ruined "Toscano Leather" for me. Solid longevity and sillage. Definitely an EDP. Inoffensive. Car pool, elevator and small office safe. Sexy and attractive. A compliment getter. Go for it!

Good perfume with longevity and silllage if you like rose with leather and oud undertones. It starts out with a stronger saffron top note then relatively quickly dries down to mostly rose and raspberry that smells a lot like rose. In the beginning it reminds me a lot of the serpent perfume by Maison Alhambra a dupe of Gucci the voice of the snake. Once it goes rose they become a lot different. I think it is unisex with the rose being what last the longest but still with leather and oud.

2nd from Destino Paris that I have tried. Another winner. I can't believe the bargain you get for these. I haven't sample the comparison offerings like Ombre Nomad. So take that for what it's worth. But 9 hours easily with this. First couple of time it started out a tad harsh but that has eased. Certainly raspberry and a leather accord. Incense is in the background early. But seriously, for $35, this is great. Easily surpasses fragrances 3 times as much. Need to try the others.
