Miles

Lets start by talking about the bottle presentation. Its probably the most beautiful and classiest bottles i have ever seen. Now about the scent, it smells just like how the bottle looks, is probably is one of he most classiest and sophisticated special occasion fragrance i have ever smelled, so much so i find it too sophisticated to wear it as a daily fragrance. On the initial spray It opens up like a spakling champange before it morphs into a beautiful luxurious blend of dried fruits and raisins , then it dries down into a unique sharp clean vibe, to my nose smells like citrusy-fruity- floral cocktail which raidiating of the skin beautifully, it ends with a sweety woody scent. On my skin in an equitorial climate, i find that it performs better Outdoors, it last around 4-5 hours, medium projection for the 2 hour before it becomes a skin scent and inddors it doesnt perform and project as well, disappearing to a intimaite skin scent after like 30 mins upon spraying. Overall i still think this is an absolute masterpiece if only it performces and projects a little better, but those that get intimaite enough with you or sensitive enough to detect in the air, their nose will be blessed for sure, i give this scent a solid 8/10. Please gatekeep this Fragrance thanks.

Almost exact Frapin 1270, a little more crunchy coursed by the beautiful immortelle. Though i do not love a overwelming pineapple scents i love this perfume because the overwelming of the pineapple fades away and gives place for the white honey, dried fruit and the everlasting immortelle Great unisex perfume (No way only for men!) Try!

Wow! That’s such a juicy clean scent with a prominent and super realistic pineapple note (maybe more of sweet dried pineapple) and nice aromatic freshness on a soft woody base. Amazing and totally unisex!!! Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Bottle-Worthy? 6/5 This does smell almost identical to Frapin 1270, though the feeling on your nose may 'feel' different due to different alcohol concentrations. Agreed less boozy slightly more fruity, but it is the same fruit notes.

Gorgeous fruity fragrance, very appealing

Very likeable perfume. I thought that Frapin 1270 has the most realistic pinapple note, but Detaille Miles beat it. The openinig is zesty ripe pinapple, with some nice touch of booziness and dried fruit. Overall concept and smell is very similar to Frapin 1270. Frapin is more gourmand and sweeter than the Miles. Miles is more fruitier with a woody base. Miles is the summer version of Frapin. Both are amazing frags. Unfortunately performance of Miles is no better than Frapin. If you like Frapin 1270, this is a safe blind buy. I don't know why Detaille perfumes don't get much attenion here, they have some nice perfumes, thier women range is pretty good. Specially "Sheliane" and "1905" are true classic gems.

So I bought a full bottle of Miles by Detaille from the brand's website itself because I couldn't find a sample or decant to try first. Had the bottle shipped from France to the United States. I wanted Miles based on my love of fragrances with dried fruit and/or plum and/or date notes, although I don't think Frappin 1270 is the best of the genre. I'm just finishing up my first wear, and I think there is something wrong with this particular bottle's juice because it is so weak that not even my 40+ (yes!) sprays could lift the performance. There's just a hint of a weak scent when smelled directly. Certainly nothing that would highlight the note of dried fruits. So based on reviews, it's obvious to me the juice is somehow compromised. But it doesn't matter because it points to poor quality control by Detaille. It'll be the last from the brand that I try, let alone buy. It seems to be a cheap brand. And there are a plethora of fragrances on the market that are much superior representatives of the genre, including Frapin 1270, but especially others like Michael by Michael Kors, Le Dandy by D'Orsey, Rouge Sarây by Atelier des Ors, Dates Delight by House of Oud, Arabie by Serge Lutens, Across Sands by Maison Martin Margiela, Cigar Rum by Strangers Parfumerie, Turath by The Spirit of Dubai and others. Even Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille has a dried fruits note. So stay away from this cheap, weak fragrance and brand.

This is the fruity scent to end all fruity scents! Utterly spectacular swirl of fruity notes which make your mouth water I had a few fruits in mind but settling on the most accurate pineapple note I've smelled. Forget Aventus, this is a true pineapple and understandably reminiscent of Frapin 1270 which has amazing fruity notes & pineapple but in a more gourmand setting. Not that this isn't a edible smell because it does have a touch of honey and vanilla at the back of it...and even a woody drydown too one the fruit has calmed. Detaille are an amazing housem, in truth they have some real gems which I suspect have been around for a lot longer than many scents I will draw comparison to. (certain in Frapin's case) Love it! Good sillage at first and longevity is okay...yet another one I want a full bottle of.

This reminds me of Xerjoff's Tony Iommi Monkey. There's a sweet boozy thing going on here and it smells like old money. Side notes: I'm now excited to sample the rest of this house, they seem to have classy collegiate wealth in aroma form spot on.

Love this. Very close cousin to Frapin1270. Boozy pineapple. This a unisex fragrance. My husband wears it also. Perfect for summer evenings, you will get complimented on this.
