Paradisii

Trying this on a hot day I just get a strong sweet juicy grapefruit and tangerine. I don't get any of the other notes, though there is a base that stops it being sticky or too sweet. It is sweeter, brighter and jucier than pampelune though there is a resemblance. Amazingly this lasted 8 hours on me Detaille marketing this range as colognes is misleading as they are not a typical cologne strength, nor are they fleeting like an eau de cologne. These last longer on me than most designer edts and edps. I also don't understand the packaging that makes them appear fairly similar to the range sofia and dolcia are in which are generally more aldehydic and not as bright and modern feeling. With better packaging these would well and truly give brands like atelier cologne a run for their money, as they have some bright juicy fresh and fruity fragrances... which are more complex and last longer. I really do wonder if part of the reason for detaille being a bit under the radar is their branding.

in the winter I did not suspect how much I would like this fragrance on hot, stuffy days and evenings in the summer. Patchouli seems especially bright now. Pleasant bitterness of citruses and warm velvety sandalwood. The sharpness disappears in the first minute, leaving a not cloying and not deliberately "fresh" slightly smoky smell on the skin. Beautiful

I know it's listed as unisex, but to me it's so reminiscent of so many typical men's colognes that I can't imagine a woman wearing it. PLEASE NO MORE CITRUS AND LAVENDER WITH MINT. But if you love citrus, lavender and light wood, by all means, enjoy Paradisii.
