Wild Fig & Grape

Got a bottle of Dí Palomo's Wild Fig & Grape years ago and used the entire thing, stretched it out for a long time because it had become so nostalgic to me and felt very precious. Was sad to discover recently that it's pretty hard to find now in the US, though the lotion and shower gel do seem to be fairly accesible. Very unique, sweet and somewhat floral blend of fig, gardenia, grape, and subtle vanilla and amber. The slight citrus-y orange blossom note along with mimosa really complemented the fig and gave it a real freshness and slight fruitiness that dried down into the warmer amber base; I have yet to find a good dupe, though Mystic Bliss by Goldfield & Banks does hit a lot of the same notes for me - I do find that it's missing that fresh, fruity element that I loved from this though. I did find that the longevity of Wild Fig & Grape wasn't very significant and it didn't project overmuch but I liked the subtlety of it; it also clung nicely to my clothes - not too strongly, but enough that if I had sprayed it over a cardigan I could wear it the next day and get a really lovely soft wash of amber, vanilla and a touch of the fig. Would definitely repurchase if given the chance.

Grapes without all any bitterness in a rich bouquet. Sweet but not artificial. A really pleasant one but it makes me strangely irritated in damp weather. Overall I like it. If you like fruity floral notes can't go wrong with this one.

When I first sprayed it, it gave me grandma vibes. I thought I will never wear it and will give it away. After almost a year, that grandma powderiness just vanished. So the opening is straight away smooth and clean with grapes taking the lead to calmer soothing aura at towards the dry down... I can definitely smell the figs also on top notes, it’s quiet prominent! This has become my fav go to bed scent. The only reason I am refraining from wearing during the day is the poooooor longevity.

I have this as a hand cream which I got as a gift. I really love it! It's sweet but not too sweet, the cream makes my hands nice and soft and the scent lasts ages. Lovely balance of sweetness from the grape and freshness from the fig.

Simple, soapy, fruity but smells warm as opposed to fresh. I like it in the autumn. Smells clean, has decent projection. Longevity is average, maybe below but not terrible. I have the body lotion too which smells a little sweeter and fruitier. The notes are not individually distinct to me, but its definitely got fruit and soap.
