Vivaciously Bold

I absolutely love this. I got a sample of it and after the first sniff, it felt too masculine for me. But I gave it a try and, oh boy, if you want to swap it, please let me know. The pepper in it lingers on for the whole ride. It’s deep, peppery, smoky from the vetiver, and yes, it has some citrus but it’s very well balanced. Not the happy or the window cleaner kind of citrus. Performance is incredible, 1 spray on the chest lasts for over 10h. Impressed. Looking forward to adding a full bottle to my humble collection.

I like it. It is a nice citrus, nothing xtraordinary though. If you find it at a good price and have a small Collection, this is a good one. Not too much vetyver that I hoped for.

This is all citrus to me and very little of anything else. The jasmine, pepper and musk are non existent to my nose. As one can imagine, vetiver and grapefruit creates a brisk effect. One can find this uber fresh or kind of bracing. I just don't find this pretty, interesting or refreshing enough. Instead its a little flat to me. In the dry down, the vetiver comes through and it's somewhat similar to TF Gray Vetiver. However, I suggest the old staples like Eau de Campagne, Muglar Cologne, or O de Lancome over this one.

I got this and “Empress of Fashion” from FragranceX for $50 each. I can see why this line is on the extreme discounter circuit. They’re pretty mediocre. I mean- for $50 they’re a deal and the packaging/bottles are nice. But for what they were originally retailing for? Hell no. I actually remember being impressed with the display and bottles at Bergdorf’s when this line launched but never bothered to smell them and if I did- they weren’t memorable. Anyhoo! Just doused myself in “Vivaciously Bold” and it’s fine. Totally unisex. So far the synthetic creamy sandalwood base that was so prevalent in perfumes around 2011-2019 thanks to fucking Santal33 and it’s zombie clones is what I notice as a consistency at least between this and “Empress of Fashion”- two very different perfumes within the line. $50 for each is no great loss. Go for it if you’re a lunatic who likes to blind buy crap like me- I’ve certainly made worse mistakes than this.
