Love Diane

I went on a sample spree on fragrancenet and they included a sample of Love Diane in my order. It was love at first spray and I immediately went to buy another sample of this only to find everyone else was going through the same steps as me! Samples were sold out so I took a chance and bought a full bottle. Again, I'm so glad I did because within a couple of days they were sold out too. This is one of the few scents (so far) that I love from start to finish. Quite often I love an opening, but I'm not crazy about dry down and once in a while I hate an opening but love the dry down. But with Love Diane I love the opening, I love the dry down, and I just can't get enough. It's all so sweet, warm and intoxicating (husband's word) but in a way that is still light and fresh. No headaches. No heartburn. No need to shower it off immediately. I actually enjoy catching a whiff of it all day. I've tested it a few days this week and don't even want to try half the others in my order. I'm sure I'll get to them, I just want to enjoy this one for a while. Longevity is good, sillage is moderate.

Looking at the notes, I wouldn't think I'd like this, much less love it but I do. I'm getting a lot of praline (coming across as a chocolate scent) and apricot in the beginning, then a teeny bit of licorice. This was a great blind buy, dirt cheap when I bought it, but I see it must be discontinued based on the recent eBay prices. Unfortunately, this does not last as long on the skin, maybe 2-3 hours on me, and the sillage is very moderate. I wish it was a little heavier, but I love the scent. Versatile, can be worn year-round and unique, different from anything else I have smelled.

This is one of the best I have ever smelled! I usually stick to what I know, like celeb scents, but I am glad I ventured out. The pralines and licorice are the dominant notes, and they smell divine together! This was an awesome blind buy. I, as a gourmand lover, am in rapture right now! The spiciness is just right. The lasting power is pretty great and so is the sillage. I want another bottle!

I was shopping at Costco and I came upon this perfume for $17.00 in the 1.7 oz. size. At that price, I just had to try it. Well,to my surprise, I have received so many compliments from my co-workers about this fragrance. I'm going to buy another A.S.A.P. I'm so surprised at the reaction I have had with this scent.

This sweetheart reminds me of a toned down Amor Amor by Cacharel. Love it! Sweet and fresh. I am happy to have found this for less than 10$ at a discount shop. After a quick check on Fragrantica I bought it blind and so glad I did! Welcome to my collection "Love"!
