Loverdose Red Kiss

A while back on my quest for the perfect perfume, mainly looking at the TXMaxx's online website because they have expensive perfumes on the cheap, I found the Loverdose and Loverdose Red Kiss on sale. I first looked at the original Loverdose and after reading a review saying that it's Licoricey, which I'm not a big fan of, I decided to have a look at Loverdose Red Kiss and as I was looking for a sweet, not deep perfume at the time, the chocolate put me off. Recently, I came back to the perfume and read the reviews on fragrantica, and after reading the reviews and seeing barely any negative reviews, and those which are negative say that the perfume is nice but not for them, half awake me decided to buy a 5ml for £5 off Ebay to see if it really was up my street. My boyfriend had the Only The Brave diesel aftershave which I really liked, and I knew that Diesel has unique scents, so I also bought it for that reason. It arrived yesterday and when I took it out of the packaging, I could already smell it. It smelt delicious. The main notes I can smell initially are sugary apples and as it dries down it becomes more apricot and has a nice deep background scent to compliment it, though I can't pin point it from the notes. Is it synthetic smelling? A bit. I love the sugariness of this perfume, as it's sweet, but not too sweet. Don't get me wrong, it's no Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande, but it still has a nice sweet scent to it. It reminds me of the classic sweet perfume mixed with Avon's Far Away for the base (Which I believe someone may have mentioned below and also enticed me to buy as I loved smelling Far Away on my mum). I'd say this perfume is quite sexy, not a deep musky sexy, but a sweet perfume with a sexy undertone which makes you feel grown up and powerful. As a 19 year old, I feel like this perfume is perfect for me. It's still sweet yet also has a mature tone to it. If I had to choose when it would be best to wear this perfume, I would say night time in winter and autumn, however I personally will wear it during the day. I'd like to specify, that I don't think this perfume is for specific for this age, but suitable for anyone above. There's no real age to it. I've ended up buying it online so it'll take a bit to get here, but I'll update my review when the actual bottle arrives. I would definitely say that this is a unique scent. It's special. I've never really smelt anything like it. The closest perfume I could describe it as is Avon's Far Away, as the dry down is both powdery and sexy besides the sweetness. I'd definitely recommend it. It's pretty cheap too! You can smell it on your clothes the next day too!

I bought this for the bottle, which is fantastic. To me, Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss reads as a vague, synthetic floral-fruity-gourmand. It is definitely pleasant and soft. It has a dash of tartness without being the excessive sourness seen in Angel Eau Sucree. I do not typically wear tart/sour perfumes, aside from maybe Very Good Girl by Carolina Herrera or Melrose Place by Ouai. Red Kiss reminds me of a celebrity scent or something else of that nature I wore in high school. Maybe this could compare to a Victoria's Secret mist, without the weird plasticky aftersmell I detect on those. I have not had more than 15 minutes Red Kiss on my arm. I will update later when it dries down. Update, about an hour later: this continues to hover close to the skin for me. I find Red Kiss even more pleasant as it dries to a sugary hazelnut. This scent is still not "me" but I can see it as an easy "dumb reach" everyday perfume for sweet tangy gourmand-floral lovers. ETA: 5/28/22 Now that my nose has recovered more from COVID back in December, I must say this fragrance is richer, fruitier, and more gourmand than I initially recognized. It's a like, bordering on love now. It's not overly sour to me anymore, and you can absolutely smell the chocolate-hazelnut. Imagine the bottle as a faceted rock of fruity hard candy with a synthetic yet delicious chocolate-hazelnut-amber spread inside. I cannot imagine this being offensive to anyone. It's like a red-fruit, chocolatey second cousin of Ariana Grande's Sweet Like Candy. If we were to compare Loverdose Red Kiss to Mugler Angel Muse, another popular chocolate-hazelnut fragrance, there are some huge differences. Muse is much more "realistic" and richly, deeply sweet chocolate-hazelnut fragrance (almost like literal Nutella), with a prominent dash of icy patchouli and green vetiver lingering throughout. The base notes keep the chocolate-hazelnut lingering pleasantly and smoothly for me. Muse is more "grown." Muse is spicy and not fruity at all to me. I agree with those who perceive forest nymph vibes from Angel Muse. Meanwhile, Red Kiss reads much less intense to me in sillage and lasting power. Red Kiss is a gourmand in terms of literal sugar, artificial colors and flavors, and sweet decadence. Red Kiss is much less chocolatey and nutty, as it seems really balanced like a typical designer fragrance pyramid blending into a general pleasant scent. Red Kiss would easily be a love potion for most men IMO, while Muse has a feminine, confident sexiness.

This a beautiful, sweet and crowd pleasing fragrance, no muss no fuss. I can see why it is a 'man magnet' for most reviewers. Having said that, you might not find it the same if you don't let it develop. It takes it a while to warm up but the dry down is absolutely beautiful. In the first minutes it smells like tropical fruit juice nectar (heavy on the peach, some mangoes, passion fruit, everything you could smell in a juice carton- albeit less sour - the nectar reference), with sugar (powdered, no Jimmy Choo screech here) patchouli and lipstick. Those early 90's cheap lipsticks with their unidentifiable scent that might be glazed berries, might be sweetened plastic, might be 'vanilla', might just be cupcakes or just 'something sweet'. I think it's tonka bean. It's FAR FAR FAR better in the dry down. The colder it is outside, the warmer and creamier this becomes. The fruit turns into aroma, with 0 sourness. Very subdued and only a youthful scent of sweetness. I can then smell flowery powderiness as well, like iris and jasmine 'oud', if such a thing existed (or maybe it does). Even slightly addictive, I sniff myself to no end trying to put my finger exactly on the note I like so much, but I can't. This performs better than a celebrity fragrance (Paris Hilton comes to mind), so this is what sets it apart for a non-super designer scent. Also, it is quite expensive for a Diesel fragrance, it costs almost as much as Stella McCartney in Belgium. I find its seductive notes (in the dry down) to be similar to I Am Juicy Couture, but far sweeter, less plasticky, much more refined and wearable. Btw that one is a highly raved perfume in reviews, allegedly a 'secret' man magnet. EDIT: Have been wearing this the entire day, from morning until now, 16:33 hrs. Wow. This just keeps transforming, it got even better. It smells so, SO expensive! Sexy sweet AND flowery elegant. The alchemy of perfume! EDIT 2: The drydown is similar to Far Away from Avon, but not as harsh on the patchouli and rose- creamier and more faint.

I blind bought Loverdose Red Kiss due to the fact that quite a few reviewers here have said that it is a "man magnet" !! It arrived in the mail yesterday and I was soo excited as I put it on (as you do with new perfumes). Once settled (2-3 minutes) I asked my husband to sniff and tell me what he thought, and he said "meh, this isn't a man magnet, Chanel no. 5 is" so LOL there you go. Pick your audience I'd say. I'd imagine this would be liked by young men and/or people who are not into or familiar with the classics like No. 5 and Shalimar etc. I'm also one of these people. I own Chanel no. 5 and use it often because my husband loves it and it is thought to be classy and sophisticated so I put it on whenever I want to project that certain image, but sadly I cannot say I've ever truly enjoyed no. 5. But I do enjoy Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss. I understand the appeal and can see how this is quite a crowd pleaser. I feel pretty and attractive when I have Red Kiss on, but for me I'd like more personality. To me this perfume smells like a pretty girl who fits perfectly into the conventional beauty standard, with massive following on social media where she posts photos of herself in sexy dresses, showing off her perfect figure. So yes, I feel it is a perfume for the mass market, but not necessarily a bad thing!! Some might say it's a weapon of mass seduction. So all in all, I like it but not love it as it doesn't speak to my true personality, plus it smells a tad artificial and simple, but I'll wear it when I want to seduce the mass LOL. Longevity is Great. On me it lasts all day at work (8+ hours). Projection is also GREAT, almost gives me a headache, just almost, so spray with caution.

I absolutely love the original Loverdose and this comes close to the original for me. It's notes are very different, but the powdery, sugary drydown of Red Kiss reminds me of Loverdose's dry down. The only difference is that Loverdose's dry down has more vanilla. Red Kiss is no gourmand, the hazelnut and cacao are noticeable but they do not take center stage. Definitely a scent for the colder days. Longevity is amazing, 14 hours later and I can still smell it on my wrist. It projects nicely, and people close to you will be able to smell it on you. It's not a sillage monster though. Upon first spray I smell the fresh fruits. Fresh green apple is the first thing I notice, mixed with some black currant. The sugar, bergamot and orange blossom are also there, but more muted. I really love smelling the fruits, especially in the morning when I just woke up. After the first hour Red Kiss starts to settle down into a comfy mixture of mostly sugar with hazelnut and a hint of cocoa and orange blossom still. I can't smell the apricot in this at all. The dry down is my favorite stage. Looking at the notes in Red Kiss, I know that it's a mixture of sugar, hazelnut and amber. The combination of sugar and hazelnut strongly smells of vanilla. I'm actually surprised that there is no actual vanilla in this because I'd swear it's what I smell. The dry down is very cozy and comforting, a perfect scent for just laying around in bed or on the couch. That's why I love oriental vanilla scents, they're just so soft and give me comfy, relaxed and warm feelings.

I was at TK Maxx yesterday and found both Loverdose EDP 50 ml and Loverdose Red Kiss EDP 50 ml on clearance for 18£ each. I wasn't familiar with either one, so I pulled out my phone and started scrolling down the reviews on Fragrantica and a few minutes later the decision was made to buy them, then and there. I stopped by the mall afterwards and smelled Loverdose and boy were the reviews spot on! Very very similar to Lolita Lempicka. Dry down is gorgeous. As for Red Kiss, again the reviewers weren't wrong. Looks like it's been discontinued because I wanted to sample it before opening mine, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't know what to expect so the anticipation level was a bit high. I sprayed it on my forearm and I immediately understood the reason why it was compared to the likes of Black XS, Black Opium, Armani Sí, Bonbon Viktor&Rolf and so on. Initial blast felt loud, sensual and luxurious à la Poison by Dior but I wasn't able to put my hands on where this scent is taking me to. After it settled on my skin, it morphed into something divine with sweet chocolate-y hazelnut having primary control. Creamy goodness in a beautiful ruby red bottle. N.B: Dry down of Red kiss is reminiscent of Alexandrie mon Amour by Georges Rech.

Confession time: I "accidentally" bought this when I'd had a few too many. I was going after the original Loverdose but somehow this one found its way into my basket as well. I'd become curious about it after reading the notes and reviews but other than that it was a total blind buy. Well thankfully, it turns out Drunk Me knows what's good! On first sniff I immediately found myself liking this but it's really not what I was expecting. It's very sweet spicy, and initially I got a lot of hazelnut and cacao as described, but conversely to me it's mostly very, very fresh with an almost clean element to it! Straight away I though to myself, Shouldn't this be in a turquoise bottle?? I guess it's the apple and bergamot my skin amps up that give this scent its watery quality, which certainly sounds like it would be a disaster mixed with the Nutella-like base, but somehow it works so well. I find it to be a very nuanced and totally unique fragrance, there's nothing else I've ever smelt that is comparable to this. My like very quickly turned to a love and I fall for it harder each time I wear it. It's sexy and exciting, hugely long lasting, very unusual and deeply addictive. Highly recommend!

I found this underrated gem due to a YTuber Jeremy Fragrance. Diesel is missing out big time by not making this into a set. I LOVE the hints of Cacao, it's a playful, sexy fragrance one would think Victoria Secrets would have released. Sheer seduction is all I can think. I paid $54 from Macys when they had their sale + the 10% Reauken cash back. 💘💘💘💘 this scent. As far as the other perfumes made from this line, meh, this one is a stunner. I hope Diesel makes it into a set complete with bath bomb, lotion, leg oil, and a hair fragrance. It doesn't have the staying power of something like poison but if they wanted to up their game with this gem, just add more oil to the EDP version. I think Western companies could learn a lot by taking a page out of the alcohol free perfume market like UAE, Swiss Arabian, Rasasi, I would wear this as an oil. I hope this is never discontinued.

OH MY GOSHHH, THIS is SO SCRUMPTIOUS and a LITERAL MAN MAGNET (in my experience anyway) This is BY FAR my favourite loverdose. But why does it garner so many compliments from men?? Well it's the perfect concoction of fruits-cocoa-patchouli without being too buttery or heavy. It's got a freshness to it thanks to the bergamote, apple, apricots & blackcurrant. This is my only non-vanilla cold weather fragrance that gets so much attention!! First spray: Bergamote, green apple sugary sweetness..seconds later followed by the blackcurrant, orange blossom, cocoa and faint hazelnuts mixed with patchouli/amber. Not to mention it lasts a long time on my skin & the sillage is pretty good too! Basically Red Kiss is the lovechild of Mugler Angel Muse and Giorgio Armani Si Passione. Which I am both a fan of, but this one has won me over. I love it. I'll repurchase it forever.

SDM has had Loverdose, Red Kiss and Tattoo on the $20 shelf in the past month or so. Today I found Red Kiss. They still had the tester in cosmetics so I was able to try it before buying. I proceeded to buy two bottles. As a sweet perfume lover, this is my jam. As for a man-magnet, my husband's opinion was, "smells like perfume". It's the sugar note right away that caught me. Then all the other notes start mixing in and as it settles it's a delicious, smoldering, sweet scent. Not just linear sugar like some of the other uber-sweet scents, Pink Sugar for instance. This one has more going on. I catch the fruit, it's got the floral, the nutty notes and a nice base of amber. Everything is blended so well it comes together in a beautiful way. Projection is good, I could catch the scent as I moved. I'm so glad I bought the second backup bottle. I love it.

I am a huge Loverdose fan, the black bottle Tattoo is the fragrance that I think is closest to being my "personality" perfume. When I first tried RED KiSS I was a bit disappointed in the hazelnut note, it wasn't As full frontal as in GOLD ROBERTO CAVALLI and it was the promise of the hazelnut that had me excited about this and I was all 'meh'. Well me and RED KISS have had ourselves quiet a relationship now and I have to say with out a doubt this perfume has been commented on by men more than any perfume I own. I work with a high turn over of public and men from every category have made positive comments on this more than any of my fairly sizeable collection. Dudes love it! Can't argue with Statistics. Scent 10 (by opinion poll) / 10 bottle 10/10 ... cant wait for the next colour.

Wow, i really love this perfume!! Oriental vanillas/gourmands are my favourite and this doesn't disappoint! It's warm, inviting, creamy chocolatey heaven! I get a huge blast of nutty chocolate when first sprayed, then it settles into a pleasant creamy, almost edging on fruity scent with the orange blossom and blackcurrant peeking through, but the hazelnut and cacao shine most in this. I certainly don't get a 'nutella' vibe from it, which i thought i would, as the other notes stop that from happening, and the patchouli and amber come through just enough to turn it into more of a deeper, not overly sweet smell. It dries down to such a warm inviting addictive scent, which lasts absolutely ages! Perfect for the cooler weather that's fast approaching.

Hahah to all those who know a true choco scent this is definitely it!!!! It is there and it's loud , leaning skittle to the dusty side but all the juicy current keeps it tart and the hazelnut is creamy and almost oily , I adore this is extremely sweet , this is like so good I can't stop smelling my wrist ! Don't listen to anyone saying they can't smell the chocolate 🍫 hahaha 😅 so beautiful, this could be layered with a type of vanilla , maybe 7 virtues vanilla would be bomb and the scent goes on and on and I can smell it days after on my pillow and clothes Edit: This is truly a beautiful fragrance! It somehow reminds me a tad of alien crossed with Armani satin , this perfume red kiss is now sadly discontinued and you can’t find it anywhere

Just gorgeous, I think this is like D&G The One’s sexier and more rebellious younger sister! Some of you are going to think I’m crazy for even comparing the two but I have both & I personally think there’s a similarity. While The One is softer, quieter, creamier & more sophisticated (think more appropriate to wear for work & daytime) Red Kiss is punchier, sexier, nuttier with similar dna and loyalty in that she lasts ages, she just makes herself more noticeable than The One! She’s the louder one! Both are absolutely gorgeous scents and enjoyable to wear for any age. Im 38 and The One is a recent favourite since last Christmas as it was a gift but Red Kiss is just perfect for a night out or a night in 😼

Come for the bottle, stay for the scent! My daughter fell in love with this scent after the bottle attracted her eye. I've never seen it before in all my travels to various fragrance stores, drug stores, and makeup stores. After she smelled it I sprayed it on because she had already sprayed another fragrance on her arm. It's lovely! Definitely not overbearing. I'd hesitate to really call this a gourmand, however, the vanilla notes do dominate. If you love vanilla this one is a great blind buy - it's definitely got a unique twist to most vanilla fragrances, and it'll probably draw interest from others who are used to the typical bland vanillas out there. Price point is definitely worth it!

This perfume is Valentine’s Day in a bottle. All the lovely things you typically receive on Valentine’s is in here; delicious fruit, milky chocolate, even flowers. It starts zesty, juicy and fruity on me and I can smell a hint of white floral mixed in too, as it sits and develops it transforms into a decadent, sweet chocolate scent. It works great on my chemistry, not too sweet- just delicious. Performance wise, it lasts 6+ hours, I usually wear this when it’s cooler or at night, or even if I just want to feel good on a bad day. This is my most complimented perfume I own, people know I’m around when they smell this and have associated me with it. I love this perfume ❤️

A while after owning it, I've stumbled across a sale and it had a crazy good price! I didn't hesitate and I bought it again both for myself and for my mom, and I've falled in love all over again with this fragrance! So sweet and sexy, nutty and chocolaty, very creamy and delicious. Good sillage and moderate to long lasting longevity. To me it has the almost the same DNA as Yes I am by Cacharel and Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, it's basically the same scent profile, which I really love and appreciate as it is an easy to wear, slightly but not overly gourmand DNA. The bottle is kinda dumb cause it doesn't really sit as it's supposed to but it makes up with its cuteness.

This was on my radar since it was announced, and being a gourmand lover, I had to track it down. Well... ok. It's great. Sweet and smooth- just lovely. I love it. But... It doesn't last/project very well.... and it smells very very similar to Sweet by Lolita Lempicka. In fact, it smells like Sweet and Loverdose Tattoo mixed together. Also seems a little similar to Signorina Misteriosa. I don't get anything overly nutty/nutella. In fact, it's a very sweet APPLE on me. But it's just what I like and I'm not sorry I finally bought one... I mean two... ;) blindly... ;) update-- This is really like gourmand/hazelnut/Nutella apples. I dig it and enough sprays lasts all day!

The scent is subtly sweet with notes of cacao and hazelnut making it a little headier, then orange blossom that seems to come out on my skin more as the day goes on. The nutty scent to Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss is something I love and I think this is what has me applying it over other more expensive and sweeter scents. It’s definitely a more seductive grown up sister to the other fragrances in the range and certainly one that would turn a few heads (or noses) on a night out. It’s elegant but demands attention – if that makes sense. I have even had a few compliments on this and people asking what scent it is, which is always a good sign.

Ooooh! This one is dreamy. I ordered a 80% full bottle for just shy of £10 and I am extremely pleased with my blind buy. Very sexy, seductive... A come hither perfume for sure. It's so sweet and delicious, I am in love! Starts off with a burst of juicy blackcurrant, followed by sugared hazelnuts, then settles down into a deep wrist-sniffing patchouli/amber base. I will be walking like I'm 6ft tall today while wearing this! It makes me feel like a femme fatale. This might just be the sexiest non-vanilla perfume I own. It is definitely a crowd pleaser, but then I've never smelt this on anyone I know. I love it!

I am obsessed by the loverdose collection....I associate all loverdose fragrances with a very sexy strong and wild woman with a leather jacket some black boots and maybe a mini black dress. (I feel quite like that when I wear them :P ) Red Kiss is gorgeous!! Its strong... its sweet...its dark....its sexy!! I mostly get a delicious smell that its the exact same smell as blueberry and stawberry jam that my granma used to make. its long lasting as the original and heavy sillage :) I'm afraid I will eat myself every time I wear this...Its delicious... Definitely one of my favourites.

Im surprised! it's a perfume from 2015 and the smell reminds me of those years! I have probably already smelled it and I didn't knew it was this fragrance! I saw other people complaining about the longevity...personally, on my skin it stays for one entire day. With 2 sprays the other morning I was still able to smell it on my skin. Anyway, the smell it's beautiful and attractive, it's perfect for any occasion and for a signature fragrance, and day after day im falling in love with it.

I bought in blind buy this perfume and I'm using it a lot in the winter daytime, I really appreciate this particular contrast between the initial sparkling fruity and sugary notes and the other base notes that in the almost immediate dry down create a creamy scent thanks to the cocoa that reminds me of the smell of a good lipstick! The persistence is moderate on my skin (3 hour at least), but I am an oversprayer and spraying it even on clothes manages to last 6 hours!

I finally got the bottle (probably last one in the world). I have no idea where my friend found it but I am happy to have it. And OMG, this smells amazing! First of all, people tell me I smell nice from 2 meter distance. Second, the smell stays in the car long after I leave (friend called me after many hours later to ask what perfume I was wearing since it stayed in the car all day). Super warm and intense, very inviting and cozy but also sexy. True winter scent.

Smells like a monotone, sexy, cold cherry on the testing paper, but on my skin, the other tones come out to play! Bursting sexy citrus mellows down to delectable hazelnuts and chocolate in the drydown. Nighttime only. Too sweet and sticky for daytime. The midnotes bloom after an hour and it's much stronger, so this could be cloying when oversprayed. I wear it with darks and leather. It's a safe blind buy for gourmand scent lovers.

This has become my everyday perfume. And I get so many compliments! It ́s a rocky gourmand perfume with a youth twist. This one radiates passion and flirtatiousness. The cacao and the hazelnut are the heart of the scent without being overpowering. Clear notes and a gentle sweetness. It also has amber and black current that gives the scent a deep and muture structure. reminds me of poison girl by dior. XX

Mmmm, I am absolutely smitten with this one. It's alluring, sexy, irresistible, divine, delicious, heavenly, an aphrodisiac for sure. The longer that it sits on your skin, the better it envelops. Personally, I think the bottle is the most attractive one out of the three that Diesel have put out, I really love the intense red shade! Get ready for compliments...

I just picked this up off my porch today. I ordered it for myself. My husband never says anything about a fragrance unless he can't stand it. I opened the box, popped open the cap and smelled it and he held out his hand to spray it! He's not complaining! I smelled chocolate hazelnutty sweetness right away, so decadent! Definitely a nuttier sweet chocolate.

Seductive, fruity and playful fun fragrance. I find it to be like a bit mature version of Juicy Couture's Viva la juicy noir (EDP), definitely shares similarities. Sillage is low. Its an affordable sexy fragrance, more on the casual side. Men absolutely love it and definitely you get compliments. If you love sweet and seductive, you will love this one.

Ive been wanting this fragrance for a few years and finally saw it on fragrance net for around 40$. It's not really a summer fragrance but I enjoy how it smells, reminds me of hypnotic poison. On my skin this is Creamy Sweet chocolate, vanilla, hint of fruit, lasts over 8 hrs on my skin.

Very very nutty. At 1st it's a bit similar to Loverdose Tattoo, floral, creamy, then it's sweeter and the nut is omnipresent. I don't know if I'm gonna purchase it because of this nutty side, which is very strong. It deserves another test. Excellent lasting power.

I LOVE IT! The longevity is the best. To me the sugar and cacao notes are very noticeable but the apricot really stands out and it blends with the others perfectly. Also, a very important thing, this perfume it super cheap for the quality, so yeah... awesome!

Bought it thanks to fragrance influencers rating it as one of the sexiest fragrances for women. It doesn't disappoint. It's hard to describe the perfect balance of sweet femine seduction and a hint of masculine power this amazing fragrance packs.

Red kiss is simply amazing. Everything about it is alluring. Seductive, sexy, sweet and irresistible! I love the packaging and the scent both so much! Sweet patchouli, balanced with bitter orange flower and nutty notes. A really really good one!

Smells like a vanilla root beer in the beginning. Then it's joined by loads of amber and a little chocolate hazelnut. It reminds me of Hypnotic Poison if Hypnotic Poison came in an eau fraiche version. This is certainly a yummy one!

I think it is the best gift idea for Valentine's day. The red heart you can give for a women. It is amazing idea. Isn't guys? It is warm, chocolatty, seductive and very long lasting parfume. This bottle is devine as well.

I get all the middle notes in this and a rich cocoa, which I think may be the hazelnut. It’s lovely, I’d compare it to a younger version of Black Opium with cocoa rather than coffee. I can’t wait to wear this in the fall

Gorgeous darker scent. I smell a mix of patchouli, cacao, hazelnut and black currant. This is absolutely the best of the Loverdose-line. It's like A dark kiss on the skin ❤️❤️❤️ Give this one a smell.

This is literally my favorite perfume.... I even bought a backup. Addicting, night, sexy and like other said, well blended. I can't be without it. If you like Black Xs, give this one a try.

Red fruits and delicious chocolate- very sweet, juicy, a bit creamy. Perfect for parties and going out. I find the amber drydown smells very fresh! I get so many compliments on this one

Impossible not to love. Delicious and suitable for chocolate and creamy scents lovers, so versatile. I like the original one too, shared DNA but this one is lovely.

On me this smells exactly like viva la juicy with hazelnuts. Was pretty surprised when I tried it. Its decent for its price.

This is my first impression of the Loverdose Red Kiss. Last month, in the middle of March I walked into the perfume shop looking for something that I can wear in warmer weather. While testing a few fragrances and not finding anything that I loved at the first smell!, the saleswoman walked towards red kiss overdose and sprayed it for me on a piece of paper, and while she wanted to move on quickly, I felt very drawn to its sillage that was still in the air. I was checking my samples to make sure it was coming from this one and claiming that it's a very beautiful strawberry smell! The saleswoman was standing there as she couldn't understand what I was talking about!And now that I'm checking notes on Fragrantica I understand why! LOL It smelled like a mixture of strawberry, sugar, hazelnut, and a trail of cocoa(not the real strawberry fruit but the smell you get in the strawberry ice cream and a lot of people find it very synthetic, but I love it!). It smells like two scoops of ice cream one being the strawberry flavor and the other one a coffee hazelnut scoop. Although it's a straight up gourmand, I don't fell like it's something that you'd want to eat, like a lot of other gourmands out there. In those minutes that I was in the shop, I felt that it was disappearing so I did another two good sprays on the paper, and I brought the test paper home. After half an hour a very pink kind of patchouli and the bold jasmine appear and join the show while it becomes less sugary and I cannot smell strawberries anymore. The dry down comes very late and smells like a quiet amber and apricot to me. On paper, the longevity was 12 plus hours. I left the paper in a drawer and left for travel and when I checked after two weeks a little bit of amber was still present. So I assume that the longevity would be good at least on clothes. I'm yet to go back and test this properly. Here's hope that I would find a love in this beautifully represented fragrance, but I hardly think that it would make for a summer scent. Maybe for early spring?. I checked a few other reviewers already said that they smell the strawberry and berry jam! Now I can relax and be happy about not having a crazy nose! Lol! I will hopefully update soon.

Testing a sample vial from a large personal collection of samples I acquired: Oh, this takes me back. @MrsNicole is 100% spot on that this feels like "listening to Kesha before going to the club." I was always blasting We R Who We R in the cab to hype myself up back then. This is a really nice example of the early wave of perfumes inspired by the style of Black Opium (as in literal inspiration, not a dupe), but also with a bit of Mugler's Angel in the DNA. First spray is juicy red berries and amber. Then it starts to settle and I get some of the cocoa powder and patchouli, though this is not the in-your-face patchouli of Angel. I even get a bit of the apricot, but it's not fresh apricot. This is the jammy scent of the dried apricots from your grandmother's pantry, ripped or bitten in half. The drydown is more of the same: slowly receding patchouli blended with a hint of cocoa, that mid-2010s amber, some sugar, and that delicious jammy apricot note if I put my nose right on my skin. Late drydown is mostly sugar over the faint remnants of patchouli and amber. Sillage is pretty substantial for a modern-ish perfume, but we're not even in the same ballpark as the 80s powerhouses. Two sprays on one wrist doesn't come close to a single drop of 80s Vanderbilt EdT.

This one is all about honeyed orange blossom and cocoa. This orange blossom is not heady or intoxicating. It's soft. The fragrance is warm without being spicy. Gentle but more than a skin scent. The cocoa and patchouli give depth but it manages to remain light, almost airy. As the fragrance begins to settle I get fruity notes which I can’t discern. Red Berries? Nectarine? Peach? Some divine nectar? I can’t say for certain but the fruit softens the patchouli and lasts into the drydown. Orange blossom, cocoa, patchouli, and divine nectar. Delicious. The only problem is longevity. This only lasts maybe 3 hours on me with generous spraying. I’ve found it lasts longer on clothes and as always you can carry a decant in your purse for touch ups. It's not terribly unique and longevity is not the best. However, it is interesting. I enjoy wearing it very much. It's not outrageously expensive ($65) and online discounters offer it for less than retail (about $45). But I still feel it's overpriced. Poor performance makes this a $30 perfume at best. You’re paying for the pretty but annoying bottle (it takes up too much space in my overflowing collection). If you like the notes and don’t mind reapplying, it may be worth a try.
