Blackman Original is a woody, aromatic, spicy, citrusy scent for men, suitable for spring and summer, day time. It opens with vivid mandarin orange and bergamot followed by mild lemon. The ginger note is short lived. After that I get intensive carnation and intensive mint with vivid and strong geranium and a dominant lavender note which it works like a platform where all the ingredients are grown up. It dominates at the background of the fragrance. Then I get strong sandalwood and strong sedar with mild patchouli and nice musk. The longevity and the projection is the weak spot of it. You must overspray yourself in order to have a moderate performance but this is not a problem for me. Blackman Original has some similarities with the Solo Loewe Absoluto Loewe and the Yohji Homme Yohji Yamamoto but they are not similar scents at all. I like it and I wish it had better performance! It's a beautiful masculine smell. The price for 100ml EDT is 450 rubles, about 7 US dollars and it comes in a beautiful box and bottle with a sense of luxury.
