When I first got this and smelled this it felt VERY green, the balsam was the first note I really got and all I could smell. I tried it a few more times and still couldn't get into it. Waited about 2 months and went back to it and now I really smell the ambroxan and musk notes. Going to wait for cooler winter to give this more of a try. Update: It's December and some how this little fragrance I wasn't vibing with has become an all time favorite. I think I had just burned out my nose when I first got it. I grab this more than most of my collection lately. Absolutely LOVE to pair it with Autumn Vibes from Replica and just a spritz of Maison Louis Marie No.14 Icila on the back of the neck. I get a ton of compliments with this magic trio!

Love love love this scent. Could be a daily wear, but is sexy enough for nighttime. Non toxic brands are so much better for my sensitive skin. The opening is saffron heavy and slightly spicy but maintains brightness. The almond nutty notes are amazing. Typically I don’t care for jasmine, but layered with the amber it’s beautiful. The cedar is warm, not overpowering The fragrance does need a refresh every few hours to project

Dans Les Bois Perfume is suppose to be a good dupe for BR540! I am happy to report that it is a good dupe and it lasted a solid 8+ hours on my well moisturizered skin😊! To me it's sweet, warm, slightly spicy and powdery with a mild woody finish and it's only $52 for 1.7oz or 50ml of fragrance

I got this fragrance this week and absolutely love it! It last for over 8 hours sprayed on my clothes (I never spray my skin). It’s a great dupe for BR540 but it actually smells better to me.

So sleek and elegant, perfect. Smells like BR540 but it’s different enough to where you won’t be asked if you’re wearing a dupe.

Layer it with 7 summers and thank me later

I can’t stand BR540 but for some reason I love this. This one seems to have a bit of a sharper/woodsier note that lasts the entire time you have it on. It smells slightly less sweet as well and overall feels smoother and more elegant to me. It’s a great price and lasts all day on me. I usually put a few sprays under my shirt and I get wafts of it every now and then.

It smells a lot like baccarat rouge, I would say almost identical, which I’m not a fan of.

When i frist tried this, i did not like it. However, it's growing on me and gives citrus woods. The dry down is nice after the sharp opening. I layer this with a floral amber perfume oil and it is nice for cooler weather

I really like this one! It's got very similar DNA to other Dime scents, but this one's my fav. It's very sweet but not in a floral or fruity way. Very very nice. I would consider buying in the future :)

VERY BR540 initially, however in only my experience unfortunately, the dry down was a little too bug spray.

if you've ever bought saffron that came in a plastic bag, that's similar to what this smells like. there are other similar scents but this one has a cedar quality to it. it definitely smells plasticky to me.

Ok I love this. Several reasons. Firstly—I have a hormone disorder and just found out that a lot of the chemicals in fragrances can cause hormone disruptions. I’m not saying my frequent spraying of perfume caused my issues, but I know it isn’t helping them. Enter in DIME. I heard it was a natural brand and I do love BR540. This is similar. But much better, much cheaper. The scent makes me want to keep smelling myself. Not too girly but not too masculine. It is perfect for fall and the colder months. May be a bit too cloying in the heat.

Bought this as a dupe for baccarat but shortly after got pregnancy and hated it and hate it still. Before that though it smelled nice. Not as soft and blended as baccarat but still a nice imitation for the most part.

Everyone saying this smells like 7 summers or BR540, I don’t get it. All I get is BENZALDEHYDE. I’m really hoping this settles down because I was hoping for a slightly sweet wood scent not a lot of almond.
