Fahrenheit Le Parfum

(Comparison of new formulations of the EdT and the parfum (Le Parfum)) We’re not going to go into vintage Fahrenheit here. Perhaps another day I will do a write-up comparing the new formulation of the EdT to one of my vintage bottles from the early 1990s. Suffice it to say that Fahrenheit is different, but not markedly to the point that you are truly missing out. Dior have fortunately and thankfully kept this juggernaut well intact over the past 30 years. To keep it very brief: the fuel accord has been dialed back in new formulations, and the freshly tanned leather put more forward. Only Fahrenheit devotees and vintage collectors will feel a need to have a (expensive) vintage original, so do not rush to your preferred aftermarket resale app on your phone with your mortgage payment in hand. It is honestly, for most people, not worth it. The Le Parfum - now that’s a different installation to the Fahrenheit saga, but despite some of the flack it has received I agree with many others that its a welcome and compelling new chapter, especially when compared to some of the other Fahrenheit flankers lobbed at us over the years. The opening of the EdT instantly states to you that you’re in for something different. I’ve never truly bought into this note pyramid; it is likely yet another example of a house overcomplicating things to grab attention. Or perhaps, given the unusual and complicated story behind Fahrenheit, they just weren’t sure what to put. There is a warm, honeyed, and slightly sweet floral facet. Hawthorn has this, but so does honeysuckle and chamomile. You pick. Then there is the “fuel” note Fahrenheit is so famous for. Violet leaf has this for sure, that chemically, volatile, hyper-herbal ammonia type quality, but hawthorn can also have this facet as well. Which one is bolstering which? You pick. Amidst this swirl of warm yet volatile contrasts are a touch of aldehydes, a shimmer of bright yellow-green and sour bergamot, and a touch of oily soapy lavender. It’s weird, and it shouldn’t work, but it does. Brilliantly. Immediately the freshly tanned leather accord plays upwards. It’s hot and animalic. This imagery has been used before but it is truly the best way of putting it: imagine a motorcyclist’s leather jacket in the summer heat, the heat and humidity forcing the tanning chemicals’ VOCs to off-gas into a cloud around the bad boy biker, and you clearly perceive that he spilled fuel on himself at this stopover. That’s pretty much it. The EdT finishes on an aromatic woody and dry patchouli inflection of this leather. As for the Le Parfum, its opening dials back the oddity of the EdT by presenting waxy-fruity and spicy rainbow peppercorns, a juicier bergamot than the EdT, and ample amounts of oily lavender. Though the contrasting and volatile nature has been mostly erased, there is a muscularity and lawless energy here that makes you think you are still speaking to the same bad boy biker, but perhaps he’s traded in the biker’s leathers for a field jacket instead... and maybe took a low dose benzo. Err... maybe just grown up a bit. The violet leaf is still present in the Le Parfum, but it’s been steered to an oily herbal direction that has significant overlap with the lavender. The vanillic benzoin-heavy amber base is making itself known, and its swirling-about with these domesticated notes from the upper layers gives Le Parfum a refined playboy’s swagger and sexiness. I wouldn’t call Le Parfum polite, but it’s just more polite than the EdT. Fahrenheit is still a bit of a lout. The leather accord to Le Parfum is darker, smokier, and earthier thanks to birch tar as opposed to the hot-animalics of the styrax in the EdT. It’s dialed in with the deep vanillic amber notes very well, the gentle smokiness keeping the amber aloft and never letting the benzoin steer Le Parfum downwards into a sweet and lumpen vanillic mess. Le Parfum does get a touch sweeter, tamer, and more vanillic at the final skin scent but the smokey charred wood facet still lingers a bit, and the “bourbon vanilla” description becomes quite apt since this smells like the charred barrels used to age bourbon. Our bad boy has maybe had a bit too much to drink, it seems. I’m going to leave the EdT right where it is because I cannot say anything novel about it that others already have not. It’s a timeless masculine leather classic that is likely going to live on for another 30 years and longer - or so I hope. If you’re an animalic leather fan and you haven’t smelled this, you’re failing. The Le Parfum deserves some more time and comments because it is, honestly, genuinely very good and a very pleasant spin on the original. It’s always a fraught endeavor messing with a classic, and I’m going to bet that Demachy was none too thrilled with the assignment (particularly given the deserved lack of success for some of Fahrenheit’s earlier flankers) - “you want me to do WHAT to Fahrenheit now??” “Make it a sweet leathery vanillic amber, Franky.” He nailed it though. This is the only Fahrenheit flanker I own, and the only one I have ever truly desired to own. Look to the Le Parfum when you want Fahrenheit but Fahrenheit made more tasteful for formal occasions or date nights in cool/cold temperatures. Keep the bike at home.

Fahrenheit Le Parfum!!! Por donde empezamos con esta obra maestra!!! Este perfumote tiene una calidad super buena y es muchisimo mas llevadero q el original osea el edt!! Duracion,pues a mi en lo personal me dura bastante diria q amanezco con el olor del perfume en mi piel luego de unas 12 a 14 horas,obiamente cuando me levanto no estara proyectando a 8 pies de distancia pero si me levanto con un aroma de piel.exquisito y facil de oler no tengo q hundir mi nariz en la piel para detectarlo!! Proyeccion,pues en mi piel esto se proyecta a unos 6 a 8 pies bien facil lo he podido comprobar con personas q se han acercado diciendome q mi perfume les llegaba hasta la mesa q ellos se encontraban y la mesa estaba a esa distancia algunos 7 a 8 pies en un club donde existen sinumeros de aromas en el.aire pero aun asi este Fahrenheit le Parfum se destaca y he tenido bastantes acercamientos de personas q les a gustado y hadta imprecionados con mi perfume incluso muchos han reconocido el adn de este parfum pero tambien me comentaron q aunque se parece muchisimo al original dicen q hulele muchisimo mas llevadero tanto q me han dicho q si comprarian el le parfum pero no el edt pues el og es bastante chillon!! Estela,tiene una estela diria yo bastante amplia,aunque es mas denso q el original se percibe en el aire cuando paso dejando un rastro notable e inconfundible por donde paso,en este caso no tengo una experiencia con este parfum en donde pueda yo tener una idea clara de cuanta distancia tiene la estela,pero de q deja una estela bastante amplia y facil de percibir claro q la deja,como les comente no he podido precisar de cuanta distancia es la estela pero se q se siente bastante pues amistades se me han acercado a comentarme del perfume q llevo puedto luego de pasar cerca de ellos!!! Cumplidos,bueno vlaro q me han dado muchisimos cumplodos cada vez q lo uso, Este perfume al ser un flanker del original fahrenheit edt,cuando lo uso la gente reconoce el adn y es inevitable crear nostalgia a quienes conocen el fahrenheit edt el original, Mediante la nostalgia creada en las narices de quienes conocen el OG se me han acercado a comentarme de la fragancia q traia puesta y sin temor a equivocarse me decian ese es el fahrenheit decian q no sabian pq les era muchisimo mas gustoso el q yo traia puesto q el fahrenheit q ellos recordaban,tambien me decian q el q yo tenia puesto no era polarizante ni griton entonces les explicaba el pq de la diferencia q ellos notaban!! La verda es q Francois Demachy ahora mismo en mi opinion esta entre los mejores 5 perfumistas a nivel mundial,solo basta con echarle un vistazo a las ultimas 7 a 8 composiciones q ha creado Y todo lo q ha hecho en la casa Dior lo ha hecho con un nivel y una grandeza digna de admirar y señalar pues no ha fallado ninguna de sus creaciones,todas han dado en el clavo,sus creaciones son duraderas,se proyectan desde muy bien hasta beast mode,llenadoras de cumplidos buena estela osea lo tienen todo las creaciones de Francois Demachy!! Fahrenheit Le Parfum - 9.5/10 Perfume netamente para el clima frio debido a eso es q le doy 9.5/10 pues no tiene la versatilidad,pero el aroma es de locos demasiado buenisimo uno de los pocos perfumes q una vez se me esta acabando voy por un respaldo de inmediato,un perfume q nunca galtara en mi humilde coleccion!!! The one thing anyone who has loved this fragrance for years will notice is the unfortunate fact that Fahrenheit Parfum has been reformulated. This especially hits hard at the distinct depth it used to have in prior formulations. These days, Le Parfum is slightly thinner and doesn’t perform like a beast as it used to. Since the original EDT was an airy fragrance, this doesn’t bother me, but it is worth noting before buying. Besides the apparent downfalls, the blend is essentially the same, which makes it more versatile. TOP NOTES What made me smile was not that “gasoline accord” but a beautiful mandarin orange in the opening, which both EDT and EDP now share. I also get slight hints of something spicy and aromatic, along with the newcomer to this blend: rum. This rum smells more like those little rum bottles you would use for baking than a classic rum alcohol drink, which is a nice touch. HEART NOTES I wish the opening had lasted longer since it was original and pleasant, but from then on, it is nothing new and nowhere near the level of the 80s legend. As some other reviewers have said, unnamed spices are here, but I would love to hear from them about where they are getting all of them. Maybe cumin, but just maybe. Besides unnamed spices, the suede leather gets more intense, and the sweetness intensifies, making it an excellent choice for a different kind of clubbing or a regular night-out winter fragrance. BASE NOTES And, now, the dry down. Powdery vanilla, benzoin, amber, and an overload of smooth tonka bean(first mentioned on Scent Grail) are what I get. The violet, leather, and rum are still present, but this massive amount of vanillic notes, accords, and notes kills this one for me. I may have grown tired of these kinds of perfumes, or I’m at a different stage of my perfume journey, but the vanilla extreme will get tiresome to almost everyone after enough time has passed. OVERALL In my opinion, this is Dior’s third-best “Parfum” release, after Eau Sauvage Parfum and Dior Homme Parfum(also overhyped), but better than Sauvage Parfum. It’s a safe blind buy that you can easily wear during the colder months and chilly nights to gather a positive impression. Launched in 2014 and designed by François Demachy, Fahrenheit Le Parfum is a jewel within the iconic Fahrenheit line. The opening already shows that this is no ordinary Fahrenheit: Sicilian mandarin brings a velvety citrus sweetness, enveloped by the mysterious softness of suede and the dark, almost gourmand touch of licorice. It's intriguing, sophisticated, and seductive from the very first moment. Final Score: 10/10 Fahrenheit Le Parfum is among the six best perfumes of my life, and rightly so. It's complex, deep, and luxurious, with a signature that balances classic and bold. A true statement of personality and good taste. If the original Fahrenheit is the rebellious soul of the 80s, Le Parfum is its mature, seductive, and irresistibly refined alter ego.

The smell of "Murder Ballads" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Some scents remind me of certain songs or even entire albums. In this case, not because it has any particularly bloody characteristics - the perfume, because Nick Cave's album is full of them - but rather because of the class that this fragrance exudes, I associate "Murder Ballads" (bloody but classy) with this scent. Maybe it's because of the iconic red bottle... Fahrenheit EDT was, for a long time, my signature scent. I don't pay much attention to the usual complaints (and laments) about reformulations and batch X being better than batch Y, but in this case, there are considerable differences between what this perfume (EDT) used to be and what it is now (although I appreciate the current version and will buy a bottle soon). I have always liked the smell of gasoline, for some reason. The more recent version of Fahrenheit (this Parfum without the "Le" that can't be found anywhere) doesn't have that explosion of scents that I got used to in the older EDT version (in 2006 / 2007 that gasoline smell was still present) but it is excellent. It's not as fresh or versatile as the EDT version, but it is a remarkable perfume. The blend of ingredients (suede, rum, vanilla, violet leaf, etc.) is done exquisitely, and this scent exudes luxury from every pore. It is one of my favorite perfumes, but it doesn't (totally) cure my nostalgia for the "original" Fahrenheit. The performance is outstanding in terms of projection and longevity (about 12 hours), and this scent is unlike any other on the market (that I know of), being worth the price it is sold for in most online stores (it is worth much more than the vast majority of niche perfumes I have tried so far). More than an excellent flanker, this perfume stands on its own. 5 stars!

The 80s were the golden age of heavy metal. Think Judas Priest. Today, they are still a band that captures the spirit of the 80s. Today they are much more mature and still make modern music while remaining true to their roots in their founding. The original Fahrenheit always reminds me of the 80s heavy metal subculture... A fragrance based on the original Fahrenheit DNA. Fahrenheit has been made more stylish, more useful, more elegant and sweeter. An intense violet note greets you at the opening of the perfume. I get that classic gasoline vibe we know. As the scent progresses, it becomes more vanilla-sweet. I liked the drying down of the scent more than its opening. Boozy is a sweet and attractive scent. It has a dark theme and the theme that comes with the freshness. But still, don't expect the scent to change much in the coming hours. I think it's a scent close to a linear progression and has very smooth transitions. Even though the scent is much more wearable than the OG, it's still not a scent that's as open to general taste. You can expect the person wearing the scent to be a man with a strong masculine image and sophisticated taste. I prefer to wear this fragrance when I want to be unique and eye-catching. It is not a scent that can be worn with the concern of being liked. Wearing this scent will likely give you a boost of confidence and will be more effective at doing so than most niche scents. The last thing I can say is that I think you should give this perfume more than one chance. The impression you get at the first try may be misleading. I think this scent is a learnable scent. The more you wear the scent, the more you will adopt it.

Francios demachy is a great genius!! I will explain why. First, i want to say a few things. I was 19 when the og fahrenheit came out. Had it, loved it, and experienced the impact it had on the nightlife scene and in general. It was awesome! I also have a vintage bottle. Now to the possible triggering statement. The Le parfum is better then the OG ! Certainly the current version. That's how i feel , and i love and loved the og for many years. For a long while i avoided it because all the talk of the vanilla. But to my nose, it's not a vanilla centric parfum. Not at all. People say there is no gasoline accord. I disagree. It's a bit different then the og's accord, and here is Demachy's genius move. The mind is a complex mechanism and what Demachy made me feel is, it's just like i am surrounded by fahrenheit. But a better, warner, smoldering,sexier and stronger fahrenheit! It's an amazing achievement, because i had already came to terms with the fact that fahrenheit is dead and gone. But here it is ! Resurrected. And a whole lot stronger and better then the current edt. A miracle! And it's true, there is a sweetness vanillic accord. But not the usual vanilla slapped and forced into the fahrenheit dna. It's more like an awesome fahrenheit rock candy with rum and brown sugar. Not too sweet. To me, giving that warmth flame vibe better and sexier then the og. This flanker gives so much respect and deep understanding to the fahrenheit creation, that it manages to refine ,enrich and ultimately to enhance and upgrade the og. And that is an accomplishment i have not witnessed in the frag "game". So, to Mr Demachy.. thank you for this huge miracle.

This was a blind buy for me. I’ve had the OG Fahrenheit and this is nothing like it. It goes in its own direction. The Suede, Liquorice, Rum, Orange and Vanilla are noticeable and blend to a very warm, somewhat sweet and spicy, leathery scent. Even though you could pull this off on a chilly day, winter nights are where this perfume shines. Not the best for summer nights, but still ok. Despite being more well mannered and richer than the OG DNA, it is still very polarizing and will grab attention subtly. There’s a really nothing that really smells like it. Unlike many mainstream mens perfumes, Fahrenheit Le Parfum demands a certain person to wear it. Dark hair with at least a stubble, hairy chest kinda vibe. Unlike many other perfumes that are “One size fits all” , this is not a perfume for everyone, despite the reviews calling it a more richer and wearable version of farhenheit. Unlike The OG Fahrenheit, which is all about the bad boy unabashed masculinity(10/10), This one leans Slightly more feminine (8.5/10), and is a more enjoyable scent. Because of that, I would argue that it makes it even more important for the wearer to actually be more of a bad boy/ manly man as compared to the OG. Someone who is secure in themselves and What they offered to this world. All in all this is one of those rare perfumes where I think the rating and how the perfume is perceived is directly dependent upon who is wearing it. Id rate this a 9/10. Will last a whole 24 hour on clothes. Last a minimum of 8 hours on my extremely dry skin (the worst type if skin for perfumes) And around 12 hours on my friends skin. Will project heavy for a good 3 hrs.

On My Quest to acquire all of the Fahrenheit Flankers (except Fahrenheit Summer 06,07) Fahrenheit Le Parfum might just be the single most Universally appealing and overall just likable of the Entire Fahrenheit line From the Original Fahrenheits Dark fire-y Leather and violet, to Aqua Fahrenheits Fresher Summery take on the DNA, and even the Gormand-esque Fahrenheit 32, I LOVE this eccentric lineage of Excellence, but still i must give Le Parfum it's Flowers for being the entry point for many to Fahrenheit and it's many flankers Le Parfum offers a more Mature Take on the Original Fahrenheits DNA through Replacing the Animalic Leather with a velvety Smooth Suede. The Sicilian Mandarin takes a step back to allow a deliciously Sweet combination of Vanilla Bourbon and Dark Rum to the become main stars of the show. The Green Ozonic Blast of Violet leaf remains as prominent as ever but suprisingly does not result in the signature "Gasoline" Accord many Fahrenheit detractors and enthusiasts has become accustomed too. By Far, Out of all of farhenheit flankers I own, and other colognes for that matter, Fahrenheit Le Parfum stands alone as my most complimented fragrance and it's easy to see why. Fahrenheit Le Parfum and Fahrenheit Absolute might just be the closest The Fahrenheit line comes to being Niche quality Fragrances. It baffles me to see Dior Dropping the Ball and Discontinuing Le Parfum and all the other Fahrenheit Flankers for that matter. Uniqueness/memorability 12/10 Silliage 10/10 Projection 9/10 Overall 11/10 Please Dior Bring back the old Fahrenheit Flankers Even if for a limited run 🙏🙏🙏

Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum Longevity: 9/10 Silage: 9.9/10 Scent Profile: 8.5/10 Words do not describe how long I had been waiting to get a bottle of this fragrance (It is my profile picture, that's how bad i wanted it). I had trouble sleeping because every time I tried to find this failed. So, I just bit the bullet and decided to commit to the blind buy. My first impression of this fragrance was an intense peppery-mandarin note that none of the reviews described, but after about an hour, it settled into a violet-boozy vanilla drydown that just screams holiday spirit. Then the base reveals a very smooth and spicy pepper and suede, with a dominant vanilla note. A few days later, I wore this fragrance out for the first time to church. After a while, the fragrance started to smell like chai tea due to the intensive coriander and vanilla suede. I got a few compliments, but not too many. Overall Fahrenheit Le Parfum is a professional fragrance that you wear to serious affairs, like meetings or funerals. It wasn't meant to be youthful, but instead meant to be sophisticated, grown, and mature. Not a safe blind buy at all (Yes, I blind bought it but because it's so rare to find a tester). But besides the fact, this is one of the best Dior fragrances of all time, and one of the best leathers of all time. Very reliable, but not everyday, fragrance. (Side Note: I sprayed a single spray in the air, and I walk across my entire home and it smells like Fahrenheit Parfum. I guess bonus points, but I don't know how to feel about this.) 8.8/10

When Demachy created Fahrenheit Le Parfum, he described it as “warming the original’s flame.” And that single idea explains the entire experience. The classic Fahrenheit is iconic, but let’s be honest—it’s also one of the most challenging designer fragrances ever made. I respect it, I own it, but I rarely wear it. It’s bold to the point where you almost have to psych yourself up for it. Le Parfum takes that same DNA and shifts the attitude. The opening trades the sharp, petrolic shock for a smooth rum note that immediately pulls the harshness out of the equation. Within minutes, a dense mix of vanilla, resin, and warm amber starts to rise and completely changes the mood. The leather is still present, but it’s rounded, slightly sweeter, and far more wearable. Think less gasoline-soaked jacket, more refined suede with a touch of heat. What really stands out is how the violet-leaf signature behaves here. Instead of dominating, it becomes a quiet echo of the original—just enough to feel authentic, not enough to overpower everything else. As it dries down, the fragrance settles into this rich blend of vanilla, benzoin, and soft leather that feels deep, confident, and unmistakably Dior. If the original is a legendary rebel, then Le Parfum is the same rebel ten years later: grown, composed, and finally comfortable in its own skin. Easily one of the top five releases in Dior’s modern catalog.

So, I had bought this for my husband years ago, and as I've learned, don't blind buy for anyone; purchase what you know they want and haven't gotten yet. On his skin, all he could smell was 'gasoline,' and he hated it. I'm not the type of person to just throw away a fragrance. One day, I tried it on after a shower and went about my day. I understood the 'gasoline' scent he was talking about, but it immediately became a more sultry licorice-like, almost woody-vanilla situation on my skin. Notes that aren't mentioned here, but it's the vibe I was getting. My husband comes home and immediately starts sniffing my neck. "What is that?" To him, it was vanilla suede. And it made me laugh. It really does change depending on who is wearing it! I don't think he was patient enough for the dry down, which is fair. If you don't like the top notes, why would you subject yourself to it? For me, I like this. I'm a woman, and I like this. I would have liked this on my husband, but I enjoy it on myself as well. This feels just as autumnal to me as it does dead of summer, if you don't want the typical water note fragrances that are popular during that season. I also appreciate that it easily lasts 10 hours. It's not for everyone, and I don't recommend a blind buy. I do recommend you try it on your skin and give it a fair shake.

Nose Note #589 It is what the notes say. Original Fahrenheit, but with vanilla. The OG and this are almost two different scents. The OG is still visible, but in the form of nostalgia. "Oily leather, violet comes through quickly, dense and syrupy. Over time, the leather grows darker and more rubbery, the violet turning almost medicinal". Well, I'm not getting anything like that. If anything - this get smoother and smoother as it dries down. And it's not at all suffocating to wear. What a difference of experience... Fahrenheit leather is not like Ombre Leather or whatever. It's almost not leather to my nose. Same as in Trussardi My Land, Herrera CH Men, Bentley Momentum Intense, Ferragamo leather line and many others. This is leather with violet. It's soft leather, not boot leather. This medicinal comment though... well, if I think hard about it, this may smell somewhat medicinal, distantly, but this also reminds me of some tea. I've tried three from Fahrenheit line so far. OG Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit Aqua are equally good. This is third place. It's nice, but I'm not choosing this over OG. 7.8/10, interesting and sweet take on Fahrenheit

This may rub some people the wrong way, but I am entirely indifferent about the original Fahrenheit. I was less than a year old when it came out. Although I've sampled and worn it I've never owned a bottle and have no real memories attached to the scent. I was able to approach Fahrenheit Parfum with no bias or expectations. Maybe it was because of this that I fell in love with it almost immediately. Aside from fragrances, my other hobby/passion is bourbon. Naturally when I saw that Fahrenheit Parfum had a bourbon vanilla note I was intrigued to say the least. I can definitely smell it. After taking a sip of some good bourbon you oftentimes pick up a vanilla note during the finish. The bourbon vanilla note in this fragrance smells the way that tastes. It's simply amazing. Projection, sillage and longevity especially, are all outstanding on my skin. If you're a fan of the original and wanted to try this I would recommend you banish from your thoughts all expectations of it being a concentrated version of the original. As others have said, it's not very similar. Approach this as its own fragrance and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Shortly : Fresh , Ozonic , boozy , powdery , vanilla scent . One of the complex fragrances . A new masterpiece from my favorite perfumer "François Demachy" . Please , give this fragrance more than a chance , maybe you will not like it from the first sniff because it is so complex scent . It is not safe for blind buy . This is one the best boozy fragrances . Very rich , elegant & masculine scent. My nose picks up slightly cacao notes , I think that comes from mixing Licorice with Cumin. The Vanilla is not so strong , it is playing in the background and could be visible after a few hours . All above mentioned , it is still keeping the DNA of the Fahrenheit EDT (without the gasoline scent 😒) . So , I still getting fresh & ozonic notes . Therefore , you can use it in the summer nights. About the performance : It is a monster . Longevity more than 24 hours , and sillage around 3 to 4 hours. I appreciate this masterpiece so much.

Dior Fahrenheit Le Parfum might just be a modern masterpiece. It takes everything about the original DNA and improves on it in such a smooth and elegant way. The gasoline vibe that defined the EDT is still there, but only faintly in the background, giving character without overpowering. The violet leaf adds that subtle green edge, but here it’s balanced beautifully with a rich sweetness. What really makes this shine is the bourbon vanilla. It rounds off all the edges, giving the fragrance a creamy, masculine smoothness that feels luxurious without being overbearing. To my nose this is sweet, bold, and sophisticated all at once — easily one of the best Dior releases I’ve tried so far, and honestly it may be my favorite from the house. Performance is excellent, with strong projection early on and a solid 8–10 hours of longevity. If you’ve ever wanted Fahrenheit without the harshness, Le Parfum is the one to reach for.

Fahrenheit (Le) Parfum is one of the most addicting fragrances I’ve ever smelled! Sophisticated, boozy - begs for being dressed up and worn in colder nights. The opening reminds me of the EDT Fahrenheit, when it dries down it becomes super luxurious with the bourbon vanilla, light suede notes and rum. I fell in love with that well-rounded, smooth fragrance so much that I find myself just smelling it randomly throughout the day without the intent of wearing it, I simply adore the smell. Projection and longevity are also quite good. Update: This one feels different every time I wear it. Sometimes its greener (hence the violet leaf), in other cases its more suede-y and leathery, sometimes its spicy and I sense the cumin and coriander more, during winter months its very boosy and vanillary. It always feels new, interesting, timeless. A true masterpiece that I will always have in my collection.

Felt the original had more uniqueness, but let's leave it to the car mechanic. So with this DNA, you are the epitome of masculinity, the Starboy, the dominant, chest pump inducing, hulk hogan cutting your shirt then that thick chest hair starts appearing vibe, so we can say Testo boosting, El Metador juggling with bulls, wrestling with bears, WWE Kane 1998 kind of perfume, that's what Fahrenheit is about. Le Parfum is that same beast but got finally matured, looksmaxxed, making success and started meeting elegant people because he became an elegant himself, Kane finally became a mayor after decades of wrestling, instead of angrily ripping off your shirt, you tie your tie with sheer calmness looking confidently in the mirror. You are in your prime. I can pick vanilla and rum, you spray this you will simply raise hell and leave vibe. Over moderate longevity, moderate sillage, 4.6/5

I really love this fragrance. It is quite strong and therefore situational. I used to have the OG back in the 90's 00's and it was everywhere. This is a more mature version of it and probably a better fragrance (modernised a bit). I like this so much that I sometimes spray the back of my hand at night/bed time to chill and enjoy the fragrance. I only have one bottle so I might get another in case they reformat or discontinue it. Scent wise the notes are pretty accurate reflection I think it is way more feminine than the OG but I honestly think it is one of the best smelling fragrances out there, no matter who is wearing it Top Notes Suede yes Licorice not so much to my nose Sicilian Mandarin beautiful opening MIDDLE NOTES Violet Leaf OG vibes yes Rum yes nice dry down Coriander dont get this much BASE NOTES dont get this much Bourbon Vanilla yes nice dry down

My absolute favourite scent of all the ones i own... for now at least. But jokes aside, i was never reeeeally a fan of the OG Fahrenheit, as i thought is smelled too strong. But this... wow, yes it's based on the OG, yes it does share its DNA, but this is a totally different scent. I would recommend for you to smell it first before buying though, because in my experience its a hate it or love it fragrance. No in between, neither for the wearer nor the people around you. But a really amazing scent, with the booze and suede leather start and finished of with vanilla, its amazing. If you like vanilla fragrances, you have to try it. It also lasts for like an eternity, on my skin at least. I've tried putting it on in the afternooon and waking up the next day with a faint hint of the fragrance. 10/10

Bursts with a fresh citrusy mandarin and green violet leaf, along with bourbon vanilla and leather. I get spices, like a spice market vibe. It's also a little boozy and floral, with amber in the dry down, alongside the vanilla-leather accord. Fresh interpretation of Fahrenheit. While the original Fahrenheit from 1988 is very masculine, even overly so, this version is quite unisex. The Fahrenheit Parfum, is a modernized take with vanilla and boozy touches. The leather is present but not overpowering; it's nicely done and balanced. To me, it's more like suede leather— a gourmand quality. This fragrance leans toward gourmand because of the vanilla and rum notes. Overall, they've done a great job modernizing a classic men's fragrance from the late '80s. It's a great fragrance!

Proper marmite fragrance for me. Couldn't even bear to be around it when i first bought it. It smelt of hot gasoline, something I could imagine a sweaty waiter wearing in 100 degrees and totally nostril offending. Left it, forgot about it, tried it again. Now i admire it more than ever. It's developed into this rich, hot, desirable masculine scent that lasts forever on my skin. I can smell it everytime I move and it dries down into this unique furnace of a fragrance that I simply love smelling. I've literally just mentioned it above, but it really is a unique one, nothing quite like it and it's certainly had its fairshare of copycats try and do the same thing and never quite as well. Ideal for someone established 30+, I don't see this being ideal for younger guys.

Perhaps one of the strongest fragrances I tried, and sure the strongest one I wore and had so far. It has the same DNA of the original Fahrenheit, but in the drydown it gets more boozy and sweet, in the opening being the same, with the iconic violet leaf note that gives it the somewhat burnt gasoline like scent, but in a good, masculine way. It isn't cheap, but in the end you get what you pay for, a loud, dense, eternal lasting fragrance (on my gloves it lasted for a few days) that isn't for the faint hearted and people who prefer subtle scents. Overall : Scent : 10/10 Longevity : 10/10 Projection 9.5/10 Versatility : 6/10 (suitable for winter nights) Price : 4/10 (not cheap at all) Personal note : 10/10 (my fav Dior atm)

Ok, so you do get some of the original Fahrenheit DNA here. It's more noticeable in the drydown, but you do get the violet leaf and some of the famous gasoline accord. It's subtle compared to the original. What you get in the opening is a big blast of sweet vanillic boozy amber. There's a lot of rum in this fragrance. Drydown in similar, but as mentioned before, some of the original fragrance peeks its head up as time goes on. This actually reminds me a lot of Bentley for Men Intense. Imagine layering one spray of OG Fahrenheit and 2 sprays of Bentley for Men Intense, and you'll be very close to this frag. This is a very enjoyable one as long as you go in knowing it's very different from the original. 8/10

I used to hate on this frag until I decided to actually wear it for a day. I've learned to adore this fragrance, it's very masculine and dominating and old school. Reminds me of something my dad would wear , defo a mature scent , not for everyone. If you sit at a desk and work on a computer? Probably not, target/wallmart sales associate? nah. work with your hands and drive a truck. Defo. Kind of dude who works on his own motorcycle, this is for you. It's geared towards masculine guys who don't GAF what other people think. Bad boy vibes. Wish it had better longevity. True masterpiece . There's a reason it's been on the market sine 88 Defo a daytime scent , not date night or club 8.8/10

For me this is The Perfume. A modern mans man masterpiece. To my nose it starts with a strong suede note mixed with expensive rum and sweet mandarine. I feel hints of licorice. Then the violet leaf shows its face along with vanilla reminiscent of Wild Turkey barrel proof bourbon. My wife doesn't like the OG Fahrenheit on me but cuddles me and takes big wiffs of the Parfum when I wear it. Luxurious, sophisticated, masculine. More of a night time wear but sometimes I wear it to work simply because it boosts my confidence. Performance is great too, for the first 1,5 hour projects strongly, then settles closer to tge skin and you can catch it even after 12 hours. Highly recommend

The perfume that got me hooked into perfumes. The suede, licorice and booziness gives the scent a dark and mysterious vibe. The vanilla smoothens it a bit to make it sweet and comforting. And then finally, the ozonic note gives a freshness to it that prevents it from being too cloying. Such an amazing balancing act achieved here. Lasts and projects like an absolute beast and feels very high quality. Despite my nose being much more seasoned since I first discovered this scent, I still get a rush of dopamine every time I sniff the atomizer. 10/10 will own a bottle of this until the day I die and will also demand to be sprayed with this before they put me in my coffin.

I just filled up at the gas station on my way to a get together. It is Fall 🍂 🍁. I accidentally spilled some petrol on my Alden 504 boots. I get to the soiree and pour myself a glass of some limited edition Bookers or equivalent and I sit down on the leather couch. The host is burning all kinds of Autumn themed candles around the house filling the air with a caucophany of pleasantness and I start to catch wafts of the gas on my shoe. Should I apologize and explain to anyone who may catch a whiff? No, I am not self-conscious about it, quite the opposite. I wear it proudly. It is so strangely comforting and addictive. I feel destined to be right here and now.

Le Parfum is better than the original - yes, it might not have as much of the polarising petrol note/effect as the OG had, but there's this sun-burnt tarmac that replaced it with some anisidic sweetness whilst preserving the DNA of the Fahrenheit that I used to smell everywhere in the early 2000's. Actually, the original had also this urine-like drydown that I remember rushing to wash off, back in the day. I dare to say that this is likely the best version of Fahrenheit that was done with an understanding of the changing trends. Dior preserved the legacy of this iconic scent. The bottle has also much better proportions; just cannot fault it. 10/10

Very very unisex. Tried it in store with atleast 5 sprays. It was good. Left store and got into my car and put on the air conditioning to max ( tropical weather with loads of humidity). Kept sniffing the pleasant aroma surrounding me. Goody. Later about an hour stepped out to grab something from a local vendor and when got into my car .. whoof .. hello ooo !! who was just here!! No wonder i had passersby stare at me at the local vendor. That gorgeous sweet aromatic boozy slightly spicy vanilla filled my car that literally made me gasp. If this is not unisex I do not know what is considered unisex Yess she would do great in cold weather

Those panties won't be long meeting her ankles when your wearing this on your dates lads. It's jaw dropping good. I can't even stop sniffing the bottle. Very unique smelling! Don't let that heavy suede/licorice combo put you off trying this. I don't like licorice whatsoever yet this makes it smell incredible and of such good quality when blended with that rum/bourbon vanilla & topped off with the violet giving you a gentle reminder of the classic edt Fahrenheit while being it's own scent at the same time. Anyone who doesn't approve of this scent most likely has a premium lifetime membership to the Flat Earth society!

I love the OG Fahrenheit and I love this one. On skin I don’t get too much of the mandarin and the licorice like I do on strip or If I do it’s very faint. I get suede with violet and the spicy notes of cumarin and coriander. I love how it smells leathery and spicy with a lot of vanilla undertone. The suede isn’t animalic or rough it’s really smooth and great quality. Longevity is 10 hours or more. Beautiful in the fall and winter. Sillage is good, better than the OG for me. It is pricey so a sample should give you a good idea if you’ll like it or not. I blind bought this and have no regrets.

I really, really love this scent. Best way to describe: smells like I spilled Blanton's on my motorcycle jacket after a visit to the petrol station. There's also a bit of vanilla that creeps up on you in the that sets this over the top. I'll admit this might not be for everyone, but I feel like you either love this or are completely turned off. Would for sure not recommend a blind buy and HAVE to get your nose on this first. If you like it better buy 2x since this is in the chopping block now Dior changed their in house perfumer. Doir back up the truck and PLEASE bring back Demachy.

Dirty leather saturated in mandarin peel and rum. Smells like I'm in my navy pinstripe suit and taking Monica Bellucci for a drive in a Porsche around Lake Como. It's not like the original EdT so be mindful of that. Just appreciate this fragrance for what it is. It's more like a Dior Homme Intense for the gritty Fahrenheit man. DHI is 'almost gourmand' chocolate while this is 'almost gourmand' vanilla bourbon. It calls for the more formal, dramatic moments in life. Classy, romantic, sophisticated, gutsy, masculine... a must-buy.

Smoky, boozy and sensual: sweet, lightly powdery incense and spices, pretty complex. Opens with a blast and stays a blast for the whole night. Projects a lot! 3 to 4 sprays are enough. 5 sprays are excessive if worn indoors. Not the same kind of smoky as the original: you won't smell like an ashtray with this one. DON'T wear it in the day or you'll end up disgusted by it! Wear it for dates and important dinners, savour it in the colder months and it'll heat your soul and make you smile. My girl goes gaga for it!

Absolutely incredible creation. Just ordered myself a backup bottle after revisiting it this Fall and early winter, and coming to the realization that it is likely to be discontinued because it is just too good. They usually discontinue or reformulate the best stuff they have. And this is definitely one of the top Dior offerings, second only to DHP 2014. Modernized and winterized version of the OG with some serious depth. If you like this, but haven't pulled the trigger, I'd say sooner rather than later....

One of my all-time favorite winter fragrances. The opening of leather + violet + vanilla with warm undertones of booze will never not be intoxicating. The petrol smell of the original is still there, but as other comments have pointed out, it’s mixed with the vanilla and bourbon into a deep and rich concoction of pure personality. If you want to smell sexy and masculine in the winter, wear this. I also have to point out how complex and warm this feels. It actually feels like you’re smoldering.

If you want to feel special then treat this incredible fragrance as the last bite of a gourmet dinner, like your favorite tie or pair of shoes, like the last sip of that special malt whisky. A perfect complement to the original EDT. That one is assertive and dynamic, this one is relaxing and sophisticated. Relax time at a classy bar after a hectic day! Similar vibe to Givenchy's gentleman reserve privee but this one is way superior. Happy sniffings!

Picture Farenheit EDT as a person, he's 20-ish, a bad boy school dropout riding a loud, brandless bike and all the attitude in the world, and he knows it. Farenheit Parfum is the same person, now around 35, got his shit together and studied Law, he's wearing a suit and driving an Audi, he's crazy successful. But deep down, he's longing for the weekend to take his old bike on a ride, wearing his old leather jacket and dark shades across the highway.

It stands on its own. No need to compare with others nor the edt. My all-time favourite fragrance. Manly, deep, boozy, the vanilla is somewhat sweet but paired with suede and violet leaf, it is magical. Longevity and sillage is great. Once I die, I'd like a bottle buried beside me. And I have some fragrances, even niches, and tested many in my life. So that is how I maintain my opinion: my all-time favourite. Demachy knew how to create.

I am a little bit obsessed with this. Enamored if you will. It is a perfect encapsulated microcosm of boozy vanilla accords wrapped in a warming leather with hints of green shot throughout. Bitter at first, the dry down is smooth. Like Morgan Freeman voice over smooth. I've not really smelt anything like it, amazing designer fragrance. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Maybe don't wear to the office..screw it, wear it everywhere!

Wow wow wow, this is IMO a better version of the OG, heavy dense and still has that "gasoline" effect, insane amount of violet(undecavertol) and a fantastic boozy vanilla, this is a confident man`s scent, 20+ but you really must be a masculine and assertive man to pull this off like it is intended. A great variation on a same theme. It's still very close from the original, and yet clearly different. It doesn't smell like gasoline on the opening anymore, and more like leather and liquorice. Even if you dislike the original, you might want to give this one a try. Not blind buy safe. Very strong fragrance, do not overspray this baby. And don't use it on hot summer days.

Absolutely beautiful , at first was a little bit perplexed by it but recently I came back to it coming into the spring season (it’s still cold here in Michigan till like April) , and I really loved it compared to the first time I smelled it, the ozonic leathery aspect with the vanilla base is just something out of the ordinary to me, almost has a niche quality aspect to it

I love this stuff. I think this is the best masculine parfum Dior has ever offered. I certainly like this more than the powdery / lipsticky Dior Homme Parfum, or anything else from the Dior Homme line. This is just a wonderful rich, deep, intoxicating, sensual version of Fahrenheit. Absolutely love it. HINT – Try mixing this 50/50 with Fahrenheit EDT.... so freaking good!

This is a masterpiece. An extremely strong boozy, ozonic vanilla. Doesn’t sound like it should work or even make sense but wow it does work. It smells the way it’s bottle looks and performs well. One spray on my arm was enough to radiate a bubble around me for 1-2 hours before closing in a bit. It’s one of those more pricy ones but it lives up to it’s price. 10/10

@GGVV I layer both the parfum and EDT basically any time I wear this. Not because I "need" to but because I already bought the EDT and I'm not going to let it collect dust... so I always wear them both. It works great. They layer wonderfully and unless you dislike the "gasoline" note in the OG then you are going to enjoy it! You can hardly tell the difference imo

For me it's the second best designer fragrance from Dior after Dior homme parfum 2014. The mixing of the bozzy, leathery, powdery vanillic notes is just genius that screams classy, manly, creative. It's for someone who is confident that likes to be different from the masses. Longevity is 8 hours easily with a good projection in the first 2 hours.

Really unique yet pretty easy to like! Definitely has the Fahrenheit DNA, but a lot more tolerable. It’s a very boozy and deep vanilla scent with violet. Something that surprised me is that is changes with heat. It’s suprisingly wearable in the summer and heat, maybe not when it’s above 45 degrees celsius but it’s even suitable for the club.
