Fève Délicieuse (2018)

Oh my, oh my. Never would I have imagined myself to be utterly obsessed, head over heels in love with this perfume! If you are looking for an objective, accurate description, you might as well discard this review. I am merely just an average vanilla, fruity gourmand fragrance enjoyer! If you also enjoy perfumes like Lost Cherry by Tom Ford, Vanilla by Kayali, the Scandal line or other known sweet gourmand perfumes, you should consider trying this one out. While the perfumes mentioned have a common sweet note to them, this is a great addition for variety. Feve Delicieuse is minty, but chocolate-y with a prominent note of sweet tonka. It might be my nose, but I smell myrrh on myself whenever I spray this on, it might be the benzoin! I find the blend gorgeously made, it is perfect for everyday, but also luxurious enough for more formal events. The perfume‘s performance is to be complimented too. Putting the price tag aside, the perfume on its own performs incredibly well, I smell it on me after a whole busy day, but the sillage is not too penetrating or headache inducing. My nose would randomly pick up the sweet, creamy notes of tonka, vanilla, mint, chocolate and sandalwood/benzoin throughout the day. If you consider getting this perfume for its gourmand notes like caramel, chocolate or cherry, I would like to remind you or share with you, that these notes generally do not last for a very long time sadly no matter how much money you decide to invest, at least speaking from personal experience! This perfume would rather fit someone who wants an everyday vanilla perfume with rich, "delicious" depth that is not too intoxicating, but sweet and minty enough to be worn casually like at work. I have worn perfumes like Sweet like Candy and other super sweet fragrances before, so blind buying this expensive perfume was a bit nerve-wracking, but I am glad to say Christian Dior has successfully wrapped me around his finger! I wear this everywhere anytime now and I still cannot get enough of it either. I cannot wait to explore more of his collection in the future! :)

I have waited far too long to smell this beauty! Fève Délicieuse is a feast and a delight to my senses. This blend is mesmerizing and each time I smell it, my eyes roll to the back of my head... On my skin, this pulls gourmand. There’s the sweetness of the caramel, the chocolate and the vanilla, there’s also something aromatic, perhaps the lavender? I smell a very slight hint of coconut and leather as well. Coconut and leather are two notes I am always weary of because they almost always pull weird and wrong on my skin but not in Fève Délicieuse. I also smell the Tonka beans and the benzoin, and it is delicious and powdery but in a refreshing way. It’s hard to describe. To my nose, it’s pure ecstasy. I do not smell the cherry nor do I smell florals in this though I am sure they add to the beauty of the blend overall. Longevity: decent 5 to 6 hours, then it becomes a skin scent that is to die for!! Projection/Sillage: medium to skin scent Price: yeah, well... it’s pricey but I’ll have a full bottle one day, of this, I have no doubt 😝😝😝 This is more of a Fall/Winter fragrance as the notes in this blend are robust and deep. Summertime would definitely amplify these notes and morph into something beastly (on my skin) and I’d rather avoid that...😅😅 Does it remind me of Vanilla Diorama? No, no it doesn’t. Why? Because Vanilla Diorama has Patchouli in it. There is NO patchouli in Fève Délicieuse. Yes, both smell strong and spicy and on the gourmand side but they are both very different to my nose. I would say that Fève Délicieuse is creamier and a tad sweeter than Vanilla Diorama. I long to smell the Original non-reformulated version of this but I am told it’s not an easy quest...perhaps some day, who knows? But if the reformulation smells divine to me, I am willing to bet my entire collection that the original will send me straight to Heaven to sing with the Angels there... Definitely worth a try, it’s a classic from Dior and if you are a gourmand lover, I do recommend it. It’s what I did and I have zero regrets!

Not expecting much, I looked for a fsb of Fève Délicieuse last week & somehow stumbled across a 40ml 2022 bottle on eBay @retail $... seemed suss but thought wtf & got it. It’s 100% authentic. stupid lucky to have found it from a reputable seller at that price. Its not what I expected but stunning. Like an elevated gourmand? Very diff from others I have. Long lasting (slight hint @24hrs) & feels luxurious, dimensional, soft, *powdery* & resinous. In a way it reminds me a bit of Zoology Bee, minus the honey. Where Bee is a more deeply sweet powdery resinous w. animalic, amber incense notes, FD has an overall much brighter feel; more overt florals, not overly sweet but still very vanillic +caramel & coconut notes, which makes it appropriate yr round. I do get a hit of bright mint & lavender @1st but quickly softens & sweetens; not much cherry if I’m honest, but I don’t mind. Then resinous benzoin, lots of tonka & powder, a def sweet nuttiness (almond?). Faint chocolate notes if I reach. Sits closer to the skin than Bee but leaves a gorgeous aura of sweet vanillic powder on dd. Highly recommend if you get the chance. It’s hard to understand why Dior would discon such a beautiful & unique fan fave; and if it immediately selling out after a discon announcement was any indication, they’ve made a mistake. Apparently there’s only room for 1 vanilla in the coll & VD sold better, so prob comes down to profits. I hope this isn’t MKFs doing... Féve D is DRASTICALLY different from V.Diorama (warm spicy boozy rum licorice?) Not a fan @1st spray tho does soften; but a very diff vanilla from FD. So WHY wouldn’t they keep both in the coll? A sweet gourmand & a warm spicy. Vanilla is one of the most popular, best-selling frag genres. And the collection now has one. How many privee ROSE frags are there now? Too many to count. Floral? Fruity florals? Oud? Woody? Etc. Hint: it’s way more than 1/ea. I can’t understand it. I deeply regret not exploring this one yrs ago. And of course now I love FD and it’s gone :(

Very nice and likeable soft gourmand scent. The lavender and mint in the opening are neither heavy nor aggressive and they disappear very quickly. Equally the white floral notes, freesia and jasmine, are not very noticeable either, which I very much appreciate since I often find prominent white florals challenging to wear. Instead, Fève Délicieuse is all about the notes listed as base. Tonka is very prominent here, in combination with vanilla and benzoin giving the scent a soft pleasant vanillic backbone. Apart from that, the other notes are so well blended that it is relatively hard to pick them individually or consistently. Sometimes I smell milk chocolate or caramel, sometimes I smell a hint of cherry... and a lot of the other times I don’t. It smells so delicious that I just want to keep sniffing my arm or shirt. Fève is a perfectly unisex and “neutral” gourmand, but I am afraid it will disappoint those who like typically male (shower gel) fragrances. Projection is very soft, definitely no beast mode, sits close to the skin very quickly after spraying. Longevity seems alright, I definitely choose to spray spraying on clothes for increased longevity. You can smell it after 6+hours but you have to get really close. The fragrance seems wearable throughout the year with the exception of hot summer days. Right now it is spring (temperatures around 15 to 20 degrees C) and it still feels very appropriate and enjoyable without becoming too cloying. I’ll have to wait at least half a year to test it in cold temperatures, but I have a feeling it will perform even better. Overall I genuinely enjoy this release from Dior, in fact it is probably my current favorite from the Prive line. The only downside is that it is quite expensive and does not project much. Fève is positively one of the fragrance you wear for yourself, not to please others or fish for compliments. (Batch code 1H01. Manufactured 2021/08.)

I've had Fève Délicieuse for a few weeks now, but I decided to wait out a bit until reviewing it, in order to fully appreciate its complex and unexpected facets. The thing is, I was expecting (or rather, suspecting) Fève Délicieuse to be much sweeter, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is neither overwhelmingly sweet nor sticky-syrupy. It was a great idea by F. Demachy to open this fragrance with mint, lavender, bergamot and leather: and while it is clear from the outset that the fragrance would eventually meander into a somewhat gourmandish direction, this fresh, almost fougere-like opening, with hints of Guerlain Shalimar, dominates on my skin for almost an hour, before it finally succumbs to tonka, benzoin and sour cherries. I also expected it to be a winter-time fragrance, but actually Fève Délicieuse is rather transparent and totally appropriate to wear throughout the year, even in the summer heat. I'm happy to report that I can't detect any caramel / praline / chocolate / toffee / coconut or any other sweet foody notes. This perfume is completely unisex and perhaps even a bit more masculine, although as a woman I find it to be completely wearable, not least because of the strong Shalimar association. In fact, now that I think of it, this is what I would have loved recent Shalimar flankers to smell like; but since this product was released by the house of Dior, they had to give it a very different moniker. Fève Délicieuse (Delicious Bean) is a good enough name, although quite misleading, because the tonka only kicks in the drydown and the scent itself never becomes 'edible'. Btw I have never tried the first (2015) version of Fève Délicieuse, so I can't make any comparisons. Judged on its own merits, the 2018 version gets a strong 9/10 from me. I'm happy to have finally found a new Dior fragrance that I can appreciate, after so many recent disappointments.

I just ordered a 4.25 oz bottle from Dior. Normally I don't go for powdery scents but I love this. It opens up with lavender but I don't know if I would of known that without knowing the scent notes to give me an idea of what to look for. Without knowing the scent notes I mainly get a powdery tonka mixed with coco, a light vanilla and a touch of leather. It's sweet but not syrupy sweet. As it dries down it gets even better. I don't own anything like it. I do not detect rose or bergamot at all. I suppose I slightly smell cherry but it's minimal. Thankfully I do not smell coconut as coconut is not my jam. Even though this is a gourmand it's not the typical gourmand. Although I'd say it's a something a gourmand lover would like. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy unless you enjoy powdery tonka. My husband doesn't smell powder but I don't know how not! He enjoys it though. I think it definitely leans more feminine although I wouldn't mind it on a man as it is delicious! Then again I enjoy my husband YSL l'homme intense so much I'd wear it myself so im not picky on what gender it is meant for. I absolutely love feve delicieuse. I originally tried buying the smallest bottle but my order was canceled by dior, I'm assuming because word on the street is their no longer offering the small bottle soon but I am actually quite happy to be getting the medium sized bottle. I think this scent could be worn for any occasion! I haven't received my bottle yet but had a decant of it from a friend and have babied it so I can't comment on its longevity on clothes and I find most scents don't last long on my skin but this lasted a few hours on my skin. I can't wait to have my big bottle of it so I can freely spray my clothes 🤤

When I discovered that Dior's haute perfumery line is unavailable in Ireland, I ordered a few samples online. Fève Délicieuse was one that I was particularly keen to try, being widely discussed and seemingly divisive among perfume bloggers. I am eagerly awaiting my bottle of the latest limited-edition Shalimar flanker, Millesime Tonka, and given the comparisons between it and this, I am all the more excited to try it. Fève Délicieuse is an interesting scent. A fougère with gourmand characteristics, it is a tonka-dominant scent. I love the distinctive warm, sweet-spicy, Play-Doh-like scent of tonka bean, finding it both comforting and pretty, so I'm pretty happy with how FD unfolds. FD's opening is surprisingly Jicky-like, opening with a lavender note, alongside some fresh citrus and a nicely restrained hint of herbal mint. Some liqueur-like cherry features briefly too. The tonka bean emerges early on, adding sweet, rounded warmth, quickly becoming dominant as the other notes of the opening subside. As it develops, warm vanilla and hints of caramel bring it to gourmand territory, complementing the tonka bean to perfection. The sweetness is perfectly judged - yummy, but elegant. I get a hint of coconut, more creamy than tropical. I don't get any floral notes here. Woody notes creep in as it dries down, with sweet, resinous amber adding richness. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. Cosy yet sophisticated, and just the right amount of sweet, this is a really good feminine wintertime scent. Beautifully composed and well-balanced, this smells high-quality while being wearable. An excellent tonka bean scent, and a great understated gourmand option. 4.5/5.

All the hype about Fève Délicieuse is completely justified and it still took me years to finally test it. Boy, have I missed out! This is the smoothest tonka bean I have ever smelled. Sometimes this note can be a little scratchy and rough or turn into a cloying cherry-almond bomb, but not here. It's pleasantly sweet, quite powdery, but with a delicious creamy undertone from the caramel and benzoin base. The aromatic, fresh notes of lavender and mint are really subtle and only support the similar facets of the titular delicious bean. Same goes for the cherry, which just keeps the scent from turning too dry. Vanilla is blended with the tonka in such a harmonious way that I don't know where one ends and the other beginns. I don't really get coconut, chocolate, leather or florals, but who knows, maybe they add some more subtle rounding accents. Sometimes tonka fragrances have lots of additional spicy notes, which can be nice, but I'm glad Dior left them out here so our noses can focus on the softer side of tonka. Everything about this scent is balanced to perfection. It's is a grown-up, very easy to wear, elegant gourmand like no other. To me this is completely feminine on my skin, but I can imagine that it would feel very different on a man. When I sniff my sample from the sprayer it seems more aromatic than it is on me. Isn't that just how unisex scents should be? I hope this will be available as 40 ml next summer, so I can maybe get a bottle and wear it when it gets colder. Not a fan of those giant, plain looking bottles they sell year round. While this is not an overly loud scent, it lasts quite long on me, so I really don't need 125 or 250 ml to bathe in it.

Feve is such a love affair. It is so intriguing warm distinguished perfume I could see on someone with lots of power and influence, which is not immediately apparent but for this more dangerous. It is not super projecting but rather lingering around you. It is not a skin scent at all though. It is sultry, warm, with some licoricy ambery and powdery vibes to it with the tiniest hint of sweetness and mint to it (you will have to sniff your wrist so much to detect it). It is so difficult to categorise as a perfume - I can tell it is by no means gourmand, fruity, sweet or floral and there is definitely warm spicy base but other than that, the perfume is so well blended that you cannot specifically point what exactly it is. Many people compare this to Vanilla Diorama, I own both and I cannot see this above the high class signature vibe to them. VD is all about booziness on smokey burnt non sweet vanilla background. The perfume is quite linear with the same vibe being on the forefront and very sharp with everyone around knowing you have it on. Feve, on the other hand, has this intricate ambery/powdery/licoricy mixture which lingers around you, no booziness or smoke to it. It is also way warmer and spicier than VD. The perfume lasts a while, with at least 4 hours being around the wrist, then it turns bit more nuanced and tamer. For those hunting for this outside of France, check the airports duty free zones - I have just bought a bottle at Prague airport duty free in T1. I also saw a bottle in Manchester T2 (I think). Cherry + Spice incl Cinnamon + Vanilla + Bergamot citrus + Tonka to caramel sweeten & darken the dna + Mint leaf giving it a touch of earthiness + powdery Lavender A warm spicy cherry vanilla fragrance. The juice apparently has been reformulated more than once, and it shows, the juice of Dior’s private line is weak, had to over-spray to test. Beautiful fragrance, sexy, flirty, and prime youthful with quality ingredients! Sexy dress-up & going out or cozy at home vibes. A real shame the juice is so weak, otherwise this is a real winner. Still can be used as a bedroom close encounters scent. End dry-off you lose almost everything and it's replaced with a delicious creamy vanilla skin-scent. Imo Tom Ford’s ‘Lost Cherry’ is a inspired clone of this fragrance done poorly. Out of all the fragrances i own, this is the only juice that actually goes bad over time! Decanting will oxidize the natural ingredients and you'll get a rotting vegetable juice note telling your nose that the juice has gone rancid. Smelling the atomizer will do this as well. I keep smelling my skin to get hits of the dna like an addict. It’s so delicious! I can't stop thinking about it, I need to buy a bottle. It grew on me and i now absolutely love this fragrance!! This is also hands-down one of the sexiest fragrances out there! Hate the terrible performance. If it had incredible projection & longevity, i'd rate this a 5/5 masterpiece. 4/5 Woofs!

I have this 2018 "reformulation" and the original 2015 release. They are EXACTLY the same. When this was originally released in 2015 Dior's website and perfumer listed how this fragrance was made with only 3 notes: Calabrian Bergamot, Tonka Bean Absolute, and Madagascar Vanilla. Dior then updated its website and listed in the description of the fragrance, and that it gave off facets of praline, caramel, chocolate, fruit, etc. All of the press release information listed the 3 notes, and then elaborated on the various accords that are picked up in this composition due to the many different facets of the Tonka Bean. (I probably should start screen shot websites, because people truly have their own version of reality) With this release in 2018, Dior only lists Tonka as the one and only note in the fragrance created by François Demachy. However, to me, side by side on each arm, this 2018 release is no different than the original 2015 version. I can only conclude that this perfume still has the same 3 note composition: Calabrian Bergamot, Tonka Bean Absolute, and Madagascar Vanilla. read JaneBluff review below. This is a gorgeous gourmand scent that encompasses many aspects of the Tonka Bean --as it develops you get various accords that make this scent simply masterful and delicious.

I can barely tell the difference between this, and Commodity Tonka. If you can no longer get Feve, try the Commodity Tonka, it was discontinued for a while but is apparently back in production. I got it on eBay in the UK for about £40 for 100ml. Feve is a touch more tart, and keeps the tart beginning stage for longer, Feve is also less creamy and maybe a bit sweeter, and I think it does last for longer, but I can only tell the differences on direct comparison. Overall, Feve is nicer, but not £150 nicer! Feve is still widely available in Europe, not just France, in many of the Dior online boutiques. PS Feve is nothing like Fan Your Flames (smokey tobacco and coconut with a bit of a boozy feel and barely a trace of tonka) or Angels Share (clean and warm, definitely boozy, cinnamon vanilla, again with barely a hint of tonka). Feve is a tonka bomb, and is powdery, which neither of those other two are. And sweet like icing sugar sweet. It also has no tobacco, or boozy note. I absolutely need to own all 3 as they are soooo different to me! I prefer this on me to a man as it’s powdery.

This is a fragrance I have completely changed my mind on since I initially tested it a year or so ago. I remember being overwhelmed by the aromatic minty lavender top and never getting any of the deeper gourmand notes. After trying this again I was immediately blown away by the beauty of it! It is a testament to how preferences and noses can change. I think for people who like niche or photorealistic gourmands, as is popular now, this will be too "perfumey." There are so many beautiful gourmand notes but nothing ever comes off as edible. Overall it is aromatic, rich, sweet and perfectly unisex. Difficult for me to describe as Demachy always blends notes so seamlessly. Side note: Thank you Dior for making the smaller 40 ml bottles available for so many of the private line scents. I never end up buying from Chanel, Geurlain prives, etc. as the smallest bottles are 100 mls and up and always over $300-350. Yes, $125 is a lot for a 40 ml but when buying a lot of fragrances smaller bottles make sense and having the option definitely makes it more accessible.

This was a love at first sniff for me. I don't usually like gourmands, but I am crazy for this one. Maybe because it is not too sweet and well balanced in comparison to other gourmands I sniffed. It is definitely unique and something I haven't smelled on anyone, anywhere before and I think it does stand out. To me it smells like french pastries or desserts, I can definitely smell the tonka and chocolate. In the dry down I smell the most delicious vanilla, which I felt I had smelled before. And then I realised-the vanilla in this is very similar to the vanilla in Shalimar EDP, at least to my nose. It is very comforting, warming and perfect to colder months. The price tag is probably the reason it is not very well known and popular. I even think that if Dior brings the price down to something reasonable it would be a best seller that would beat CH Good Girl and maybe even LVEB. At the end everyone decides for themselves if the scent is worth the price tag.

I’ll be honest about Maison version. It’s not projecting as strong as LCP version. But longevity surely is better than LCP. One spray on chest before going to sleep, and i still can smell it by the next morning. I’ve never get that kind of longevity from LCP version. Scent wise, it’s almost the same between the two version. But personally i’ve never encountered that bright powdery notes that sometimes coming out from LCP version. It’s still the same temperament Fève though, sometimes you get that fresh but incredibly transparent out of the oven cake dough, sometimes it’s boozy with lots of cherry, and sometimes a Play Doh... although on me it’s not as loud as Tonka Imperiale Play Doh notes. A dark and wild oriental gourmand, Dior should let Demachy exploring this territory more freely. As Dior master perfumer he’s got some extra edge within this theme. Lots of his oriental with gourmand touch creations ended up as heavy hitters.

I can see why Fève Délicieuse is one of the most sought after perfumes from Dior - this is a true masterpiece. It initially opens quite fresh and aromatic as lavender and mint combine with bergamot and white florals, however this freshness is only fleeting and gives way to a warmer heart of delicious bittersweet cherries and tonka bean. As this settles on the skin, a complex array of beautiful gourmand notes are blended to perfection; the cherry and tonka lingers as vanilla, caramel, chocolate and benzoin are introduced, gently resting on a base of sandalwood, coconut and leather. There’s a slight nuttiness in the dry down, perhaps from the combination of cherry, tonka and coconut. This scent perfects the gourmand scent profile and really lives up to its name - it’s absolutely delicious. Such a shame that this is so hard to find now, it’s a must have if you love sweet fragrances and a phenomenal perfume for nights out.

This perfume is an aphrodisiac. Dior, if you discontinue this we are all going to hunt you down. Lol. But seriously. It would be a tragedy like the discontinuation of Pure Havane. I can say these 2 are the only fragrances I have smelled that made me react like “What is this? Oh Lala hehehe hahaha.” Really had me sprung at first sniff. Lol. The first time wearing Feve it was a sunny breezy day. The kind of weather before the winter comes in really cold, not too cold but cold enough. I was walking through the parking lot to the store when I caught a whiff through the wind and was like what is this oh lala. Looking around to see where this most intoxicating scent ever could be coming from. Then I thought to myself in amazement, it’s me!! Edit. I ended up selling this off and not because I don’t find it delectable. As it aged the leather note got stronger and started to smell too masculine on me.

This is spicy tonka, cherry and vainilla are the main star of this fragrance, this was a little scary when I tried my decant on a strip, I was looking for some Autumn Winter perfumes so this one caught my mind while buying decants, so this one is perfect for the season! When you actually wear it it's still spicy in the beginning but I started smelling more sweet vainilla in the air and it's delicious indeed but not in a gourmand way, it's more in a cozy way. The performance is good! But I would like more silage throughout the day! And I can't find this anywhere so that's freaking sad, im gonna save my decant for a long time! I would like to own a bottle of this but still I was thinking that kamrah by Lattafa has a similar vibe to this, not dupes but they are spicy and sweet, Kamrah is more cinnamon and this one is tonka, but they have that winter cozy fireplace vibe.

Yes it smells like elevated baby powder. I didn't think I liked powdery scents ESPECIALLY baby powder but this changed my mind. Personally I don't get cherry. I get a slightly spicy tonka powder with the most mild mint background. All I can say is I'm so happy I have a 4.2 oz bottle. I discovered this not long before rumors of it being discontinued started. It was out of stock for like a month or two. I checked the website like 30 times a day. No joke. Finally it was restocked, I snagged a bottle. I was refunded the next day. My heart hurt. Must of oversold? A few weeks later it was restocked- I hopped on it but had little hope for some reason. Thankfully I got my bottle. I think that was the last time they stocked it on their website. What a shame it was discontinued. It will sit on my shelf and be worn on special occasions.

Here is my detailed review on Dior's Fevè Deliciéuse: Opens up fresh which comes from the lavender, mint and bergamont. The opening does not last long, it lasts around 10 minutes max on my skin and it is also kind of medicinal, but as it begins to dry down, it becomes more and more powdery and better imo. The powderiness comes from the tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, coconut and from the sandalwood & white florals wich also give Fève Deliciéuse a powdery touch. Cherry is also present through the whole wear. As Fève Deliciéuse dries down, you get that dark delicious chocolate with the the fruitiness from the cherry. It's amazing, but it's more suitable for women imo. It's very powdery, but men can definitely pull this one off as well as it has the darkness which comes from the chocolate and cherry. I like it a lot!

I wasn't ready for this one! Opens up strong with mint and cherry, then it hits you with a sweet, cinnamon-like tonka bean, and completes everything with a sweet, woody, leathery base. It turns into a nostalgic make-up bag scent. Usually, this is because of the iris but I am not sure how they achieved it here. To sum it up, you get mint and cherry sharpness/bitterness throughout the journey; starting from the opening to the final moments of the fragrance. Add an intense tonka, cinnamon, and vanilla. Put all of these on top of a leather makeup bag scent. It smells a lot better on the air, rather than on the skin, because it is very intense. Scent: 9/10. Performance and sillage are beastly. Longevity: 10/10 (+24h) Sillage: 10/10 Gender: unisex. One of the best fragrances from the Dior Privee Line.

I always wondered what the hype was all about. I get it now. Wow! What an amazing scent! Very gourmand without smelling edible. I can make out the cherry in the fragrance, but there are a lot of notes in there i would have never guessed were in there, such as lavender, freesia and leather. Very beautifully blended - a perfect melting pot of smells and textures that create a new smell and texture. Like alchemy. Something about this perfume seems very heavy to me, but in a good way. It definitely has staying power and it seems thick like a delicious fog. For that reason, I can't really fathom wearing it in warm weather. I also see this as more of a cold winter night fragrance, when you can see your warm breath in the night air - white plumes against the cold black sky. Delicious indeed!

This is the same fragrance as the original or "vintage" released back in 2015. The only difference is the colour of the juice inside. First version is slightly darker. The smell is the same, so are both longevity and projection. Wondering about the notes breakdown though - I never care about them however here we have a whole bunch of notes listed there... Longevity is up to 15-16 hours, it's quite potent so either one big spray on the front of the neck or two smaller on my wrists (then rubbed on both sides on the neck) are more then enough. I came to the conclusion that I love it. Tonka Imperiale is a pretty and complex beast as well but there are way too much cherry aromas out there for me (which instantly reminds me of La Petite Robe Noire and L'Homme Ideal).

I received it as a gift today ! its ofc not tonka bean only it's the same notes as the old fourmla .. and OMG THIS IS HEAVEN ! To be honest it got me shocked at the first spray .. not because it's bad however because I felt it's more masculine than feminine and of course I wanted to be more of the feminine side to be able to wear it however after the drydown I found out it became more sweeter and more mess appealing for both sex so I love it so much so so much it's really nice and mass appealing for both sex after drying down and if you are a guy or a man it will have you amazed from the first spray . but if you are a woman you might be a little bit shocked because of the masculinity opening . after all it's 9.5 out of 10 for me

My partner gifted this to me about 2 years ago. Originally, I liked it but didn't wear it often. I've been getting rid of fragrances that aren't absolute loves. My collection has grown, so I'm trying to keep my bottle count under 150. I wore this today to determine if it was going to stay in my collection. And it will not be going anywhere. I'm not sure if it has gotten better with time or not. Regardless, I love it now. It's unlike any other fragrance I own. It's fluffy tonka cloud with a hint of cherry. The performance is much better than I remember. It's a shame this has been discontinued. I'm going to treasure my bottle and enjoy each wear. God, this is good. Warm, sweet, and sensually smooth with a relaxed, golden-brown suppleness to it—like something I want to sink my teeth into it, whether it's edible or not. It has the plasticky sweetness of almond, the putty-like nuance of Play-Doh, the chewiness of soft leather, and the melting warmth of making vanillic caramel by stovetop. Plus minor fruity and floral background notes that add a trace of elegance. I find it utterly delicious, but in a peculiar, inscrutable sort of way. I had no idea this had been discontinued, and I'm a little heartbroken about it. First Mugler Pure Tonka and now this! Would brands just let a tonka-forward fragrance live?

I think we can all agree this is THE masterpiece of the Privée collection, one that will never be matched nor equaled... In my opinion, this and Tobacolor are the most mind-blowing scents they have ever released. I hope Francis gets the chance to bring it back one day, although they would probably release it as an Esprit de Parfum, because Féve Délicieuse always felt like that kind of perfume to me. What a masterpiece. I still have my bottle, even though it is empty and dusty, and I love smelling it from time to time just to remember how incredible it was. Please bring it back..... And no it doesn't smell like any of the perfumes mentioned down below sorry!

Feve Delicieuse by Dior has a very strong, even sharp, avid start. The leading note of the composition is tonka bean. It is known to connoisseurs of perfume for its sweet, almond-like aroma. The almond tones of tonka are enriched here with heaps of dry cocoa with a clear boost of something floral and dusty. Then this cocoa tempest quiets down and reveals a flickering, potent tonka bean. In the great sea of this ingredient there are other notes sunken: tobacco and cinnamon. Cocoa takes on a more chocolate form while caramel starts shimmering somewhere and vanilla takes the scene. From now on, smooth vanilla penetrates every single note of the blend.

absolutely one of my favorite scents of all time. very easy to wear, a nobrainer grab for gourmand lovers who want something a bit more casual and signature scent worthy. maybe not groundbreaking as in its super unique but the blend of it is special. as a black man it reminds me of one of my younger sisters hair products when she was a kid, but exceptionally done. all together on my skin i get a very powdery cola smell in the background, but also the notes make perfect sense when you smell it. that cherry vanilla caramel vibe just really works nicely to me. i like to layer it with a vanilla body butter, specifically the fenty vanilla dream one.

The Dior website lists 3 notes: bergamot, tonka, and vanilla. Tonka has different facets to it that make the bean unique. It has a chameleon like quality in the way it transforms. Depending on how it's used, it can add a vanillic, chocolate, carmalized, almond, cherry, or spicy aspect to whatever it's used in. This perfume is all about showcasing the many sides of tonka. So with just three simple notes it's able to transform itself into something fully rounded and slightly complex. This is very well done and quickly becoming a love for me. Though i'm not too fond of the masculine, green edge the bergamot displays upon first applying.

Really just a gorgeous, warm, and soft fragrance. Reminds me of something from the 80s that I can’t put my finger on. This is going on my birthday wish list😅 The only downside to me is the intimate/moderate sillage. I want all of my perfumes to produce a sumptuous cloud to envelope me, and this wears closer than I like. But it is so beautiful, I’ll just overspray the dickens out of it once I get my FB! I think I am not as aggressive a sprayer as some. Honestly I expect 2 sprays on the throat/chest SHOULD be plenty to engulf you in fragrance all day. Yet poor performance seems to plague most modern fragrances.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It's one that I reach for constantly during the fall and winter. It's a masterpiece imo! Well, I just found out yesterday that apparently Dior is discontinuing quite a few fragrances from their Privee line... 9 to be exact. People said they were told by their SA's that once the site sold out they wouldn't be restocking. And after the video from The Perfume Guy was uploaded yesterday, Feve sold out on their website QUICK. Luckily I found a backup bottle on Mercari for a decent price and I immediately purchased it. So if you love this and you can find a bottle, snatch it up!

As I live in a very hot part of Brasil, which IS a very hot country, I cannot wear Feve because it is very, very potente, bomb like, but at the same time it's one of the best orientals I have ever smelt and fell sorry I let my pre 2018 125m bottle go, because I coundn't wear it. I made a big mistake, because Feve is worth every single penny even if you can't wear it. So, when I read negative reviews about Feve Delicieuse I believe that there's something very wrong about it. And it is not de Dior scent. And yes, one can say simply the one doesn't like orientals. That's just fine.

Fabulously gorgeous gourmand fragrance, edible but immensely wearable. A massive payload of creamy vanilla, tonka, cherry, praline, and almond is lightened and slightly mentholated in the opening by mint and lavender. Sweet, powdery, balsamic, heavy but light. This one gets compliments galore and should not be worn without forethought. I think it would be better suited to formal or semi-formal occasions, but it has this warm coziness to it that makes me think it'd be a great date night or close encounter fragrance as well. Fantastic projection, longevity, and sillage. 9.5/10

This is a masterpiece. I get all the opening notes right away but it quickly turns into a powdery and tart cherry. It's sweet, but not cloyingly so. The freesia and jasmine are just supporting notes and they do a great job of it. The dry down is where it turns into a gourmand heaven on my skin. It's warm and powdery but I also get a creaminess nuance to it that is delectable. I've had my bottle for a couple years and it's getting low. I will absolutely repurchase. I love it! It's a little too much for me in the warmer months but it's a staple for me in fall and winter.

Fève Délicieuse is an alluring masterpiece of sweetness and powderiness. Opens up with MCD's flawless lipstick accord, but this time it's engulfed by an all-encompassing platter of sweets - all kinds of toffee and chocolate. Upon drydown, the powderiness eventually subsides and the vanilla+tonka accord amps up the smoothness and sweetness even more. A faint lactonic edge develops later, coming from the note of coconut. Really delicious. Powdery yet warm and spicy, and yes a bit aromatic but not in a masculine way. More in a ‘I can’t stop smelling this’ addictive kind of way. Originally I thought this was a Christmas scent, but I’d honestly wear it all year, all occasions. It has amazing sillage, 1 spray and I can smell it on me for hours without sniffing my skin. If I try other perfumes on my wrists etc, Feve outshines them all, every time. It just keeps projecting. Amazing. Get a full bottle before they stop making it for France and it disappears for good!

I am totally in love with this perfume. It's powdery, sweet and fresh, with a subtle incense vibe. You get those notes of cherry, vanilla, and tonka - wrapped in a deep and sophisticated amber and benzoin. Every time I wear it, I get gushing complements, mainly from women. It does have a feminine vibe to it in a nice way, which I like and embrace (as a man). You will smell delicious. I'm really gutted that the past few times it's been out of stock at the airport duty free. I think it might have been discontinued. I hope they bring it back.

Fève Délicieuse - Very seductive scent. If you get a chance sample, it for sure. Amazing blend of Gourmand, sweet, spicy, powdery, creamy. In the opening, I get cocoa then tonka and some freshness, maybe from the rose and in the drydown Vanilla. Assume having Beer with roosted nut chocolate and slight minty lavender refresher pass through as a breeze near a shore or pool. Scent: 9.8/10 Silage: 9.5/10 [4+ Feet radius] Longevity: 9.5/10 [6+ Hrs on skin] Bottle: 8/10 Price: 7/10 [Price is on Higher side, but feel worthy based on your taste]

It opens with a spicy fresh kick, quickly becoming a sweet spicy beast. While you can feel the presence of mint and bergamot at the beginning, after a few minutes tonka beans, vanilla, leather and caramel are the most prominent. Of course, all of them being complimented by a delicate cherry. This is winter in a bottle and no matter how much I try to describe it I can’t find the words. The only perfume that I would drink if I could. Absolutely the best longevity and sillage. One spray and you can SEE it in a room.

This is really interesting. Very well composed. It has a feel as if Dior is Chaneling :) As a person who can not stand hypnotic poison, I am definitely not a vanilla fan and cherry note is something I am not very keen on BUT this is so well put together it has this amazing air. And it has incredible staying power on my skin somehow an on scarves it stays forever. Well done Dior! Not a boring vanilla, despite the gourmand style not so edible as well. Woods and herbs make this very interesting and deep!

One of the best fragrances ever, I have to admit that the older (pre-2018) formula was superior and more complex, I’m not one of those who always think that reformulation is always bad and that the older version is always superior, but it is so in this case and it’s obvious to me and to other people who mentioned it too. Anyway, what a beautiful and fantastic scent, perfect unisex. Often times I smell it I search the internet for a backup bottle. It might be my number 1 along with Dior Homme Parfum.

One of my favorite scents of all time. I pick up so many notes in this fragrance, from tonka and vanilla to cherry and suede and caramel and mint. It's a multi-layered experience that doesn't change all that much in the dry down for me but when something is this gorgeous, who cares? I've seen some comparisons to Mugler fragrances in the comments but Fève is a much superior formulation in my opinion. Mugler fragrances, while enjoyable, can be a bit rough around the edges but this is smooth as silk.

Another kind of dessert I know I’m late to the party and got left out by the hype since the fragrance is not available in my part of the world had to purchase it literally from another continent Since it’s hyped to death in the community I had high hopes for it and it didn’t disappoint Its complex - sweet - gourmand and really good Lately it was compared to tobacolor but to my nose tobacolor is the better scent Performance is great It is on the better side of Dior and I’m happy that I bought it

Smells somewhat like a warm spiced eggnog to me, with a touch of herbal lavender and that airy lift typical of jasmine. My nose hardly picks up any mint, it's not close to what I would consider medicinal. A warm creamy vanilla and chocolate, dusted with a melange of holiday spices, hints of nuttiness and cherry flavoring. Reminiscent of Guerlain Tonka Imperiale if you replaced the green facets with cocoa. The cherry gets stronger as it dries down. Moderate projection for 4-6hr, longevity 12hr+.

This is my ‘what you see is what you get’ kinda scent. Therefore, what you smell initially is what you end up with in the dry down; No tricks, no changes and I absolutely love it for this reason. Soft albeit powerful in terms of performance hence all day longevity on my skin which is an important factor for me. Just the right amount of sweetness. So comforting, calming and somewhat sensual. I wear this purely for my own pleasure. Blended to perfection. One of my absolute favourites.

This is one of the best from the maison Dior line. Is it really discontinued?? I’ve asked several staff and they seem to have varying answers. Some say that it is discontinued while others say it’ll just become limited in distribution to what appears to be at the fashion boutiques only. Hopefully it’s not discontinued as it’s a beautiful gourmand! It’s delicious and sweet without being cheap smelling. I just can’t get enough of it. It’s super addictive and wearable.

I just tried layering it with Gourmand Coquin as the base layer. My gosh! It’s smells so divine that i don’t think there’s any single dessert in this world that was able to compete with it. I lost all of my appetite for sweet treats when i’m wearing the combo of those two. And that cocoa in Gourmand Coquin actually amplified the cocoa notes in Fève, and significantly reducing the bright powdery notes in Fève. Délicieuse

I'm really interested to know the difference between the current version and the pre-2018 formulation, I have 250 ML 2016 and it is one of the most amazing smells I have ever smelled and I wanted to pick up a backup bottle of the new version, but the opinions and reviews here make me hesitant to buy the new formulation. anyone can tell us the difference between both editions in a bit of detail? highly appreciated.

I’m glad I waited out that horrible opening. This was almost a scrubber for me but holy crap that dry down is the BIZ!! It’s blended so well and doesn’t have that cheap sweet typical tonka scent designers put out. I don’t think it’s a blind buy but now that I have tried this beauty out I’ll have to pick this up. I got 10 hours with 5 being close to skin. I’ll just spray my clothes next time.
