Dior Feve Delicieuse EDP opens with a strong projection of sweet, lactonic, gourmand, and fruity notes. The opening is delicious, refined, bold, inviting, and delightful. The milk, praline, caramel, cacao, sour cherry, and vanilla are the opening most noticeable notes. The chocolate, milk, praline, caramel, and vanilla mix their notes into a lactonic, dessert-like, and delectable accord, intense and delicious. The sour cherry is also noticeable, a candy-sweet, tart, syrupy, with an almond touch fruit. As the fragrance commences to dry down, the tonka bean develops a sweet, spicy, caramel, and nutty accord closely follow by the ambery and the sweet resinous touch of the benzoin and, the creamy milky, and warm touch of the sandalwood. The leather is the projecting accord, a mild inoffensive leathery touch in the background. The jasmine, freesia, and lavender are support notes, a faint touch in towards the back of the fragrance. The fragrance is relatively linear, the bergamot is a faint touch during the opening, regardless, all featured notes come up as soon as the fragrance is applied and continue into the dry down which occurs very quickly. Once Dior Feve Delicieuse EDP has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a strong projection, fantastic, sweet, vanilla, cacao, caramel, praline, cherry, milk, and resinous fragrance with leathery, and faint floral accords. Such a beautiful perfume, I have the authentic original and selling samples only to half bottle, then saving rest for myself . I suspect the bad reviews are from ppl who bought fakes, coz there are so many fakes being sold. Many sellers on Mercari are buying fake cheap dupes of popular perfumes and of discontinued one and selling samples for very cheap and meanwhile I’m selling authentic samples but because I have to charge more coz well it’s a legit sample that I paid a lot for, but ppl flock to buy the cheap fake samples instead, thinking they got some great deal. Then they come here and bash the fragrance. SMH. And don’t get me started on eBay and their carded samples. I’ve gotten many fake carded samples too. From eBay. Hey as we all know, you get what you pay for. I have my lil store and everything I sell is 100% absolutely authentic from my own collection. I only have one bottle of each, when I sell out, there is no more. I don’t have 100 China made fakes in some basement somewhere. I have a great reputation for selling only legit perfumes with all positive feedbacks . The one negative I had long ago was from this idiot woman who assumed she was paying $15 for the $350 bottle of perfume after I asked her in comments if she understood she was only buying a sample and she said yes. But then lied to Mercari to get her money back and sample the perfume for free coz I got back half of what I sent her. This is why you have to read the negatives, some are not deserved. But if ppl want cheap $5 samples of fake high end niche perfumes. Then good luck to them. You have no idea what garbage China puts in those fakes. But hey, you’re getting your sample for $5. Who cares if it’s legit, seems to me most ppl don’t care. Coz they keep making the crooks who sell fakes, rich. These are the same gullible idiots who think the seller selling the bottle of Baccarat rouge 540 extrait for $85 is authentic . Yeah you know who you are. Btw this is a beautiful perfume, anyone who says otherwise has a fake or has no sense of smell. Stick with the cheap $5.99 Avon perfumes sweetie, Niche is not for you.

If you’re expecting a super sweet, gourmand chocolate covered cherry fragrance you will be disappointed. This is not that. It wasn’t meant to be. This is so much more. Feve is smoky, leathery, semi sweet Tonka bean. The other notes are there to add nuance to the Tonka bean. There is really nothing else like it. I’m wearing Feve on one arm and my other arm has Guerlian’s Tonka Imperiale: almond like - tonka, powdery, herbal and sweet. Commodity Tonka: herbal, aromatic, powdery, hay-like Tonka. Yes they all share powderiness but Feve has a semi sweet, cocoa dust powderiness with a rich smokiness that has an aromatic touch from the mint but it’s not minty. It has more similarities to Shalimar than it does to Tonka Imperiale or Tonka. Feve starts out a smoky, leathery, semi sweet cocoa but as it dries down, it’s becomes more creamy, vanillic and much sweeter. A few times I’ve dabbed and that’s when I smelled more of the cherry and milky chocolate. It’s really beautiful. A little tangent: fragrances need multiple wearings before one really gets a full experience of what it smells like. Many come on here after wearing for 5 minutes and give their first impression as a review. You’re really just commenting on the top and heart notes. Fragrances need time to bloom on the skin. You’ll also find your skin chemistry changes the fragrance and your fragrance can smell different and perform differently throughout the day and month (you know what I mean ladies) The nose needs time to differentiate between the notes. The more fragrances you smell, the more olfactory memories you create, the more notes your nose will recognize. New bottles perform better a few weeks in, once air has entered the fragrance. I purchased the 250 Ml bottle of Feve and every time I wear it, I smell a different facet of the fragrance and after selling a few decants, it smells deeper and projects more. I wouldn’t go out and blind buy a bottle but I would buy a decant or small sample if you’re at all curious. It’s a lovely Tonka fragrance.

Ok, so to put this review into context, I am a pharmacy fragrance manager and I basically work on minimum wage and favour wearing pricier mainstream fragrances (Dior Homme range, Guerlain, Mugler, etc.) because I can afford them as a luxury. Anyway today I was in the Melbourne CBD doing some light clothes shopping, and it starts absolutely BUCKETING down rain. Like, I'm talking heaven's floodgates opened into a small cyclone (not quite, but you get the picture). So I am conveniently stranded outside a Dior Boutique which sells women's accessories, like handbags and purses, etc. and I decide to go in and wait out the rain. I spot this beauty, alongside some of the other fragrances in this line. I see the price and I'm like huh, that's like fourteen years of overtime, but I'll smell it anyway. Anyway, now I'm home with a 250ml bottle next to me and I'm absolutely paralysed with debt but oh GOD this is good. I can't tell you what this does to my senses but I'll tell you one thing. Best $450 AUD ever spent. The scent itself is surprisingly masculine - I have never smelled a gourmand fragrance that has been so un-sweet girly. It's opulent and rich and milky and boozy and just plain beautiful. I sprayed once on my arm to try it on my skin when I got home, and that one spray was enough to fill the space some good feet around me with this delicious aura. This is definitely a special event fragrance - I'm not talking "date night" or "dinner with the in-laws", I'm talking meeting the goddamn queen or marrying Hugh Jackman or something. DAMN. I'm not religious but I am ready to go to church to thank god for making it pour when it did because otherwise I would have walked right on past. Seriously good stuff. I can see how it may not be for everyone, but I'm so glad my chemistry works. Now, please excuse me while I go and take out a home loan to get some backup bottles, because I don't want to be without this.

This reminds me of the bottom of my mother's "pocketbook" from the early 1970s, but in the best way possible. This is a total comfort scent to me. It reminds me of the comfort and mystery of the pocketbook, where from the depths would ocassionally emerge a cherry lifesaver candy or aged mint and a tissue, just when absolutely needed. The cherry and mint of the candies, the powderyness of a Guerlain face powder and an waxy-scented lipstick in a metal tube, as well as some of the dust of an aging packet of tissues all being cradled in the depths of the high quality and somehwat aged soft leather of the pocketbook, bring back comforting feelings of when mother had it all under control and knew exactly how we should behave. Mother carried only the best leather bags, and the leather is very high quality here, so it smells like the softest leather ever. The cherry is strong on me at first, but eventually blends well with the powderiness that eventually settles in. This is one of the most memory-evoking fragrances I have ever smelled. I'm thinking of many Sundays, mother dressed in her finest with lipstick on and face powdered, carrying her leather bag and gloves, but I'm falling asleep in the old Gothic-style church with my head eventually settling next to the handbag, nodding off while watching dust particles sparkle in the streams of light through the arched stained glass windows, hearing the faint crinkling from the woman in the pew behind opening a mint...

wow... I am writing this right after trying it for the first time. Now this is how you should do a gourmand.. very skillful handling of praline, cacao and caramel with LAVENDER , CEDAR and of course very prominent tonka, vanilla and cherry notes... I am speechless! It’s not like other oftenly poor made overpriced niche gourmands, the ones smell like you mixed every note in your hand and came with a weird synthetic-sweet mash overload with some notes trying to peak up but always subdued by the caos of the fragrance. Feve Delicieuse is so well blended but you can appreciate every single note on it‘s own. The leather note becomes relatively more recognizable as it dries down, despite this being rather a linear fragrance. BUT even though the “sum” of the scent is linear overall, the notes behave like they are dancing under the roof of the ballroom of this fragrance! When I smell my arm continously, 1 second praline shows up and then leather, then tonka and the vanilla comes onto stage carrying the cherry on top of them, then praline again gets front of them hand to hand with cacao and the show goes on with cedar and lavender being the back up dancers. OUT OF THE WORLD QUALITY! The only downside is the projection is on the lower side but I am too hooked on watching the show even if it’s not a loud one.

To my nose, this is a spicier, boozier cousin of Tonka Imperiale. After a rich—tonka and praline—opening, the scent mellows into a gorgeously decadent aroma of spiced rum, threaded through with the bitter cacao and leather accords. The leather is never crisp, but well-aged, darkened from use, like a favorite armchair one might’ve inherited from their grandfather, the cacao—a full-bodied, unsweetened Guittard. I get no jasmine, no freesia, and only a soft whiff of lavender, so well-blended with the base, it is hardly perceptible. An hour into it, the fragrance develops sweet tobacco notes, which seamlessly blend with the vanilla and spice. A sexy, delicious (albeit not even remotely edible) scent, Feve Delicieuse is not as linear as Tonka Imperiale, nor does it lean mostly feminine, eventually settling into a truly intoxicating unisex skin scent. If I were to describe the olfactory equivalent of the elusive hygge—this would be it. Initially, I was reluctant to purchase a full bottle, but easily gave in after a few hours of wear. A cold weather beauty.

I can totally see why some people feel a bit let down when they first try Fève Délicieuse. If you’ve read reviews hyping it up as the ultimate sugary sweet gourmand - like a molten dessert in a bottle -you might go in expecting something tooth achingly sweet. And yes, it does smell heavenly... but Fève is so much more than just a dessert fragrance. This is a beautifully blended mix of gourmand, aromatic, and spicy notes. The opening leans herbal and almost medicinal, which can throw some people off. But give it time - once it settles, those gourmand facets start to unfold, adding sweetness, a touch of powder, and this soft velvety quality that feels incredibly luxurious. For me, it’s cosy, comforting, a bit festive, and crucially very wearable. It’s sweet, but not cloying, and definitely not the sugar bomb some make it out to be. I actually find it to be a perfectly balanced unisex gourmand - delicious, but in a grown-up, nuanced kind of way. 10/10 from me. Just don’t expect cake batter in a bottle, and you’ll be in for something really special.

Updated in June 2024. I simply wasn't ready for this and smelled cinnamon, whereas it's the lavender/mint/cherry combination giving this spicy cinnamon vibes. now that I also own other very Tonka centric fragrances like Tonka imperiale, Shalimar and Shaghaf oud Tonka, I think that Fêve is the most interesting take on a spicy tonka scent. Its performance is outstanding, and most people find its scent trail truly delicious. It is a real masterpiece and a big, big love! Previous review: I love it. Even if there's no cinnamon listed, it turns into a cinnamon bomb on my skin. Usually I am not a fan of cinnamon, but maybe this works because it's a combination of mint and lavender and not actual cinnamon. This tends to be masculine but I love it on me, which is strange, since I am a fan of overly sweet gourmand notes. It's such a unique scent and combination of notes! I will cherish it in winter, but wear it only at home in summer, it can be too much otherwise.

Omg....this is a magnificent scent. There's so much going on...SOOOO many notes in one that smooooth into one lovely refined scent. I'm happy I bought a big devant of this. Full bottle worthy. So on the top notes, I'm getting a beautiful creamy and rounded lavender. Then upon the dry-down I'm getting more and more syrup or caramel but again it's smooooooth. Imagine a cold day and you pass by a lavender garden on your way to your significant other's house , then you walk into their house and you're met with warm air coming from the kitchen and that air smells like the buttery caramel cookies they're cooking just for you 2. The gourmand scent is now mixing up with the very recent memory of those fresh lavender flowers you smelt. You slowly take off your coat and you pause to take in the moment because you're just happy to be home, cosy and inside. That's what this perfume smells like.

So I blind bought.....again! This time it was a hit! Oh dear Lord above - this unisex fragrance is gourmand HEAVEN! A briefly harsh opening of almonds warms down quickly to a magnificent blend of Tonka (oh so soft),Vanilla, Caramel and Coconut maybe? But the Tonka is so beautiful. This smells expensive and is divine. If you love gourmand scents then trust me on this one. The bottle is beautiful too. I understand the Christmas vibe that some people get from this - there is some cinnamon or clove in there too. I guess this scent would really come into its own during Autumn and Winter, but I love it so much I will wear it all year round. Now that we are in quarantine I have been expanding my burgeoning perfume wardrobe. It helps me to escape from these four walls into lands unknown and affords me a little bit of luxury every day. Keep safe everyone. Smell you on the other side! :)

I wasn't ready for this one! Opens up strong with mint and cherry, then it hits you with a sweet, cinnamon-like tonka bean, and completes everything with a sweet, woody, leathery base. It turns into a nostalgic make-up bag scent. Usually, this is because of the iris but I am not sure how they achieved it here. To sum it up, you get mint and cherry sharpness/bitterness throughout the journey; starting from the opening to the final moments of the fragrance. Add an intense tonka, cinnamon, and vanilla. Put all of these on top of a leather makeup bag scent. It smells a lot better on the air, rather than on the skin, because it is very intense. Scent: 9/10. Performance and sillage are beastly. Longevity: 10/10 (+24h) Sillage: 10/10 Gender: unisex. One of the best fragrances from the Dior Privee Line.

I am not sure what some of these reviewers are smelling, but this is an absolute gem! If you are a gourmand lover of perfumes as I am, then this is heaven in a bottle! The fragrance starts out with a warm, spicy, lactonic, amber, cherry, and vanilla notes. Then comes this amazing mouth watering dry down of the most luscious gourmand notes of cacao, caramel, Tonka bean, praline and nutty accord that anyone can imagine. Yes, it's powdery, soft, spicy, and absolutely delicious as the name implies. The projection is above average as is the sillage and longevity. This is luxurious, classy, and it smells expensive! A beautiful evening and date scent, and can be worn year around, but a standout in colder months of the year. My 3 P's - Price 7/10 - Projection 8/10 - Performance 8/10

My Christmas in New York scent. Not cozy fireside at home but glittering lights, skyscrapers, snowy sidewalks, and a little black dress layered under a wool or fur coat. A decadent Tonka-forward fragrance with soft hints of cherry, cocoa, and spice, wrapped in a uniquely powdery haze. While some get heavy baby powder from this, my bottle has stayed balanced... sweet, rich, and just the right amount of fluff. It’s like a warm, spiced Tonka cloud with a gourmand touch that never feels cloying when floating in cold air. Not something I would recommend for warmer weather or over-spraying. Discontinued now, so I use it sparingly... but it remains one of my most delicious, beloved cold-weather scents.

This one is one of the most amazing fragrances I have ever smelled and I have smelled a lot but I don’t get the feeling to write a review that often. Keep in mind I have 2016 bottle and I never smelled the newer 2018 reformulated version which people say that it’s different. First when regular no -fragrance interested people smell this they are amazed with its quality and they keep telling me it’s a 10/10 when I ask for a grade, plus they ask me where they can buy it. This is an amalgamation of gourmand, classy, sexy sort of scent. I’m gonna cherish that 2016 bottle for a long time since newer ones don’t have a good reputation. Love this.

I got this recently as a blind buy after seeing many people rave about it. When I first sprayed it yesterday, it smelled like some sort of incense. I know some people were saying it smelled like baby powder, but I personally did not get that. It was pleasant, but not something I personally wanted to smell like and was a bit disappointed. Then I smelled the dry down. It's such a pretty vanilla fragrance once you've given it time to settle! I literally rolled out of bed just to put it on again lmao definitely a new favorite of mine. I would say it is a true fall/winter fragrance, I cannot picture myself wearing this any other time of year.

The bottles sold on the Dior site right now has beed butchered by reformulating it. It’s weaker and just not near as good as the older batches. But I was lucky enough to have a friend sell me a 30mls decant from her vintage bottle. If I knew they would reformulate, I would have bought a few bottles yrs ago. This fragrance is so beautiful. Gourmand deliciousness. I’m using my 30mls sparingly. The original formula Feve can be found for purchase but for 5 times the price. And that’s IF you can even trust the seller to sell you an original bottle and not a fake. Oh yes there are lots of fakes being sold. Sadly.

Why did I wait so long to try this?! It's an absolute LOVE for me. Beautiful powdery chocolate with cinnamon on my skin. Like a just out of the oven warm chocolate cake with cinnamon icing or those blue packs of hot cocoa mix with some cinnamon on top. I just adore this. Pulls very different on my mom's skin, she gets more of a licorice vibe. I thought that was interesting. Good projection and longevity. Very happy with my bottle

This fragrance seems to heavily tailor its presentation based on skin chemistry. Lavender and mint dominated the opening, with a hint of bergamot. The middle notes were almost exclusively sweet cherry similar to Lost Cherry with tonka. Lovely for those who cover cherry scents. I do, but will site with this sample a bit before deciding if it is worth the splurge. Purchase at Dior boutiques or their online store front.

I have a very strong and macerated bottle of this beautiful fragrance, Im wearing it today which is why I decided to come on here and see if anyone else loves this fragrance as much as I do. My impression of this fragrance without first looking up the notes was almond, white floral (tiare?) and coconut. Not sweet, synthetic, suntan oil coconut, but getting an outdoor massage in Hawaii coconut. Lactonic, powdery, tropical. High-end Lush Furze but transcending the play doh note. Dior’s gift wrapping was absolutely stunning and over the top. 10/10 all the way around.

at first i went 'ahh!' because the sour cherry gave me such a fright, but then i went 'ooh...'... gorgeous actually, a little soapy, that jasmine is delightful and the lavender is LAVENDER! so often it's just... wishy washy.. this actually has that sharp little sting of real lavender oil. i smell like i've just had the most delicious bath. god this is good.

There's absolutely no connection with Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanile, I don't know why people are comparing it to TV, I am so glad it doesn't smell like TV. TV is a harsh bag of cinnamon and spices simmering in a dark vanilla infused tobacco stew and Fève Délicieuse is actually a WEARABLE, bright, floral, semi sweet, airy and deliciously perfect gourmand.

smells like a generic body cream about to go bad almost sour almond body cream smell , i love it i dont know why lol , the dry down is strong and lasts , i don't get gourmand to me , maybe cause i worked in a spa for over 10years and this reminds me of a almond body butter cream on the verge of going off , but i like it comforting to me lol 9/10

This is one of my absolute favourites, so delicious, inoffensive yet powerful. To me it gives this classic christmas dessert with jammed raisins, figs and spices. I don’t get coconut and certainly no mint or lavender. But I think people pick up different things and assosiations because of how complex this perfume is. That makes it very lux imo.

So sad that this is officially discontinued. I spoke to Dior in Selfridges and they confirmed Belle De Jour, Terra Bella, Grand Ball and Feve are discontinued, however, my email started it was a supply issue from the online Dior, which is so confusing. Back up bottles are needed no matter what. Sad as the new Vanilla fragrance is not as good.

One of my favourites that I keep coming back to as the smell is memorable and a gourmand with being too sweet. Tonka is the star, but it is rounded by the other notes. I like this more than the on tonka extract. I think it’s more wearable. The cherry is more prominent WGS the drydown more wearable. Has a nice powdery texture to it.

I love this perfume. It opens up with dark cherry and amber, and some leather ..then warms up to a spicy balsamic vanilla. It lasts beautifully, sometimes in the warm months i feel it projects more and more as the day progresses. For me this is an all season, all occasion perfume thats signature scent worthy. Perfectly unisex.

Smells like baby powder, or as my sister-in-law put it “an unused baby’s nappy”. Now you may think this is a negative review. It isn’t. This is the best damn baby powder/unused nappy in the world and if it wasn’t so expensive I’d buy the biggest bottle I could find. Amazing stuff, one of the greats and truly worthy of a sniff.

It was love at a first sniff, its not often you can find a sweet ambery vanilla scent that is transparent & floating such as this one, performance is very good, and you can wear them in a mildly summer heat too as long as you dont spray too much. Price point is a bit overpriced though, although you get a 125 ml in a bottle.

A very spicy vanillic fragrance. Can be worn by any gender. On me long lasting and will leave a sillage which will leave people wondering what is that wonderful fragrance. Very wearable gourmand and one that I keep finding myself reaching for. Not sickly sweet, lots of naturals and an interesting effect from the lavender and mint blending in. I feel tasty wearing it on a date and find it is even appropriate for the office. Fun name to say as well :) Preforms well. Well done Dior!

Gourmand balsamic unisex. Gourmand with a hint of sourness (the citrus) and floral (lavender+ fresia) that will develop in a sweet creamy and powdery skin scent. Personally among notes I cannot detect cherry and jasmine, but the rest is there and well blended. It is unique and definitely a masterpiece. 4.5/5

So sad this is discontinued. One of the best fragrances that I’ve owned. My art teacher once said it reminds him of his father’s cherry tobacco he used to smoke in a pipe. It’s that. Sweet enough, boozy enough. Everything is so well balanced. I hate cherry scents and yet I love this one so much 10/10

Oh my goodness I can't believe there is no cinnamon in this. On my skin it's a cinnamon bun bomb and I freaking love it! I own many perfumes and never wanted this bc I thought it was so hyped and I'm not a gourmand lover. But I ended up picking up a 40ml and woah! I'm in love!

I have to say this is the best Gourmand scent I have ever tried. It is absolutely amazing, it has all the notes I like. Sweet, powdery, bozzy, attractive and always impresses people. I always get asked: “What scent do you wear that is so amazing?”

It's so complicated scent.. I don't like the opening it's more masculine but I enjoy the heart it's more better and more delicious to me,the dry down is too Powdery which I don't prefer. I am really hesitate whether totally like it or not.. 5/10

Found an old bottle of this on the back of my closet from 2016, i think? And this was gorgeous. I genuinely have no words for it, the dry down is so good. The cacao and the praline are wonderfully played out, just a little overpriced tho

This is one of the yummiest fragrances I've ever come across. Gave it to my wife and I can't get enough of smelling her wrists. I have a couple of decants from when it first came out so no idea if the current batches are still the same.

Wow! This is undeniably gorgeous and memorable. It's so *deep* - deep and dark, rich, boozy vanilla on a black leather base. I personally think this is better suited for men, but would be a beautiful bold statement on a woman as well.

I love this smell. It is so refined, the gourmand has depth. I think this is brought by the mild lavender and mint notes. Sweet and sexy and lasts hours. Vanilla, caramel, tonka bean, praline, and cream are present for sure.

Im in love with this fragrance! I won't try to explain what this smells like since im not able to but i can tell you what it tastes like. It smells just how that ice cream cherry garcia tastes. I love it for that reason.

Wow. What a smooth multilayered fragrance. The powdery/vanilla/tobacco is to die for. It has such complexity and is beautifully blended IMO. Side note: This was was a must buy at first spray. Nicely done Dior.

I just snapped up a 2015 back up bottle. There's no way on earth I'd trust Dior not to mess up a reformulation, no matter what they say. This is what heaven probably smells like, I'm taking no chances.

This is an absolute love for me ...I mostly get the cacao, caramel, milk and powder..It is warm, cozy,delicious but well balanced and not too much.. One of my favorite winter scents

This is such a long lasting, sexy scent. It's sweet but doesn't give full edible type gourmand. It's date night sexy. Long black dress ruby red lip sexy and Sensual.
