Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle

Firstly, why does it have to be discontinued Dior u fools u should have made this in edp as I just want to amp this beautiful fragrance up even more ! I love love love You hYpNoTic eau SeNsUellE !! I'm a sucker for Dior midnight poison and original poison u no the one with plummy notes , b4 the plums were removed and it was nuetered lol ;) but even though I have a mini collection I have never bought hypnotic poison edt , just not got to it yet. However for some odd reason this bottle came up first the flanker , well I'm a lover like most everyone else! I became so obsessed that I literally slept with my bottle at the end of my bed,( made sure would not fall) so it would be the first thing I would go to and smell each day , I know craziness! My man looked at me like I was nuts lol! After a few weeks I added it to my collection and stopped sleeping next to it :) lovely orange blossom with a vibe like icing sugar and marzipan, with a musk that is velvety and the softest sandalwood . This fragrance is weightless so gentle, a caressing of the skin but Francois Demachy has done this magical aroma in a way no one else could, the vanilla is not custard but more frosting or buttery the florals settle so softly I see totally why it's called eau sensuelle ! I can say it's velvety and feminine a little powdery but done perfectly nothing overwhelming yet highly addictive I think I will deffo invest in the first edt and the edp if there similar to this !! I got another way of explaining this fragrance, icing sugared light flowers , my hubby had no idea what I ment by that but I knew what I ment lol :) A fellow fragrantican summed this up by saying this is like soft vanilla baby powder- soft lightly sweet , nice and comforting : I could not agree more ! This version is nothing much like the EDP which is equally wicked in a different way. Eau sensuelle is dusky powdery bliss , the EDP is far darker and sweeter yet sweet done very very classy, not much liquorice in the sensuelle but that's amped up in EDP, sensuelle is more floral instead. There quite different so if you can get both do ! This fragrance is a MASTERPIECE, my favourite of the favourites please God let me see, bid and Win every Bottle on eBay that's affordable, and anyone who reads this is ~^HYPNOTISED^~ from These Words and just cannot help but move away from this review thinking negative things of hypnotic poison eau sensuelle, so u don't want any do you ? That's right you reading this you , yes YOU ,, what's that , you hate all hypnotic poison especially this one, Christian Dior is a complete BUMBOCLAAT, agreeed sister :))))))) that's it you boycott HPES , I will give your bottle a New home dear !! haha PMSL :)) Dior u mushrooms bring this back !

Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle has been my signature for quite some time now, and I am yet to find a perfume that comes even remotely close to this most beautiful, seductive vanilla. Francois Demachy really outdid himself with this fragrance. His interpretation of this oriental floral is modern and versatile, and far more sophisticated and wearable than the original Hypnotic Poison from 1998. Jasmine and almond are missing from this formulation, as well as the infamous 'play-doh' note, which gives the original Hypnotic Poison a slightly plasticky feel. Eau Sensuelle replaces those with a beautiful veil of soft floral notes, whilst still retaining the signature vanilla accord from the original formulation. Eau Sensuelle takes you on a long, unforgettable olfactory journey right from the first second you spray it. The opening is full of floral softness. There are notes of sweet ylang ylang and aromatic orange blossom, followed by powdery orchids and hints of creamy tuberose. The essence of vanilla is captured beautifully; it's warm, sensual, a little dark, and very, very seductive.Wrapped in soft petals of white florals, this vanilla feels a little gourmand, but without smelling processed and artificial. The woodsy base reveals the notes of soft, milky sandalwood, with a few musky undertones, which add more depth to this wonderful composition and nicely balance out its sweeter accords. This is definitely one of the most beautifully crafted fragrances out there – it's very well blended, and it develops really nicely on skin. The different notes compliment each other well, and together they create the most unforgettable, irresistible vanilla scent. The scent is captured in an elegant red bottle, which is very similar to the original one, but it looks more classy and sophisticated. This formulation only comes in an EDT version, but it is still very strong and long lasting. On my skin, it lasts for more than twelve hours, and a few days on clothes. Projection is strong enough to fill the whole room with just a few sprays. It is also the only fragrance from my collection that actually gets me compliments from strangers! So it's definitely not a shy scent, and people (especially men) will notice you when you wear it. An absolute must have for any vanilla lover, especially if you're not a fan on the original Hypnotic Poison – the two are very different. This is my favourite fragrance of all time, and although I have many favourites, this one wins me over every time I smell it! (。♥‿♥。)

I'm a fan of Dior's Poison line,Poison Girl EDP,Hypnotic Poison EDT & EDP were my favorites.when a friend offered me a huge bottle of Hypnotic Eau Sensuelle(about 70 mil left in bottle) in a swap I didn't hesitate to accept the deal,my only regret is that I got to know it too late,now that it's discontinued I can easily see Hypnotic Poison DNA in it but there are enough differences to justify having them both.I like HP edt but this one is ten times better IMHO. Poison Girl EDP is among my top ten favorites but I love HP Sensuelle even more. Compared to HP edt, vanilla,a touch of coconuty tuberose,anise and almond are also present here(though not listed) but it's more airy,less heavily caramelized,less play dough-like,much more floral, a lot more elegant and easier to wear in my book. on my skin it's like Dior HP +Poison Girl EDP +just a touch of Serge Lutens Datura Noir+Kenzo Amour.I love all the mentioned perfumes so no wonder I loooove HP Sensuelle.it's everything I ask and more.it's rich yet gentle,it's delicious,it's sexy yet cozy,it's truely sensual.grownup but not old. a heaven of vanilla orchid and orange flower with a touch of what my nose reads as marzipan powder and vanilla cream. I'm not the biggest fan of ylongylang and I can easily detect it here but it's ylangylang done right. This perfume is smooth,it's comforting,it's sensual.actually it could be my signature if they still produced it(and if I wasn't a perfume-junkie),it projects well without killing everyone in the room My husband dislikes original HP but he can get along with this one I have to save and treasure each drop of it but I can't.It's so addictive that I need smelling it on myself everyday why,oh why Dior keeps doing this??what's the point of discontinuing it's masterpieces?!! ورژن سبک تر شده،گلی تر،ملایم تر،خانومانه تر و بدون ته بوی خمیرطور/پلاستیکی هیپنوتیک پویزن وانیل، ارکیده، انیس، بادوم و شکوفه پرتقال و یلانگ یلانگ رو میشه حس کرد. من زیاد طرفدار یلانگ یلانگ نیستم بااینحال تو این عطر، واقعا این نت دوست داشتنیه برای من شبیه ترکیب هیپنوتیک ادوتویلت و پویزن گرل ادوپرفیومه با یکم سرجی لوتنز داتورا نویر و کنزو امور,بنظر من شاهکاره،آرامش بخش و جذاب،واقعا حیف ک دیگه تولید نمیشه. بنظر من تو کل خانواده پویزن، بهترینشونه

I finally bought this amazing fragrance yesterday! I've had my eye on it for a few years. I actually don't really love the original Hypnotic Poison, it tends to give me a headache. But this one...OH WOW! It's incredibly sensual, soft and intoxicating. I cannot get enough of this! The longevity is beyond amazing. One spray lasts easily about 8-10h and personally for me 2 sprays is more than enough and will last for a looooong time. I got the 50ml bottle and I'm sure it will last me forever. Also, it was the last bottle at the store i got this from, and the lady at the counter told me that they won't be getting new ones...I guess it means this is discontinued or about to be so? I adore the mystical looking bottle that looks like it could hold some magical poison inside of it. I love how the scent develops through out the day, but it still keeps that sensual softness. At all stages of the scent development, I can smell sultry sweet vanilla. On me I can first smell the gorgeous vanilla blended beautifully with orchid and some woody notes and just a touch of the white flowers, the orange blossom in particular, but if I didn't know it was orange blossom I wouldn't have guessed. Those three notes stay with me through out the day, they just blend together in a different way and sometimes they accompany more of the notes. For me this isn't necessarily exclusively an evening perfume. It certainly is suitable for the evenings but I think you can definitely wear this day times too, just wear it carefully. All in all Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle is an intoxicating sweet vanilla dominant scent. I would say it's quite a safe perfume, because it's easy to like and it isn't the most unique scent out there. So if you're looking for a sensual sweet scent that has something unique and unusual, HP Eau sensuelle probably isn't what you're looking for. But what makes HP Eau Sensuelle a special fragrance, is the AMAZING longevity and the fact that it is a very well executed scent with notes that compliment each other and create an amazing alluring smell.

I have never tried the original Hypnotic Poison, I really wanted to, but every inch of my arms was allready covered with other fragrances and this was the one whose notes appealed the most (not a big fan of coconut, but a sucker for anything with orchid), so this is what I tried and I won't be able to compare. Yet :) Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle opens with a quite soapy floral note, orange blossom is allways quite soapy to my nose. A deep, creamy floral bouquet of roses, ylang ylang and especially orchid (Oh, you beautiful, sensual flower) follows. I wish it would stay that way, but then, suddenly in the very heart of this fragrance the strangest salty note appears. It's no pure salt. I can only describe it like the scent of a pebble, scoured completely clean by the ocean during hundreds of years. This pebble is now thrown onto an island and lies there, heated by the sun. That's what I smell, warm, salty stone, surrounded by lush tropical flowers. The stone is really unappealing and a very cold scent, a dicordant note in this warm, sensual fragrance. This also makes it very intriguing. The salty stone note plays hide and seek, sometimes it is strongly there, sometime I can only smell flowers on a hot, exotic, sensual vanilla base. Once we get to the very last of the scent, the salt note disappears and makes way for the most beautiful, sexy base. Heavy, heavenly vanilla, creamy sandelwood, soft, tender musk, little whispers of orchid... Oh dear, I totally get the name. It doesn't project that well, these last hours of pure sensuality. And that's just fine, let him come closer to smell you. Would I buy this? I do not know, the salty note is really strange to my nose, but the rest is near perfection! I think I'll just test it again, and try the original while I'm at it.
