J'adore Body Mist

A lighter version of J’Adore. I was a little concerned that this was going to smell different than the actual perfume after I bought it & looked this up here. The accords are not right, to me. This is mostly floral & fruity. There’s a touch of powderiness but it gives this mist a soft freshness versus it being baby powder. I don’t like calling this a typical fruity-floral though bc there is that musk and woodiness that make it more grown & sophisticated. Anyway, I love J’Adore. I have loved her since first smelling her at the mall when I was 13 years old back in 2003. From then on, any time I ever went to a department store I would find the bottle and spray myself bc I knew I couldn’t afford it but I just had to experience it. Now about the mist. It’s nice. It’s not overpowering and yet it does have staying power. Lasts on moisturized skin for a good 7 hours. Projection? Meh, it stays pretty close but that’s good for more intimate settings or for work. I don’t regret owning the mist, but I need to finally purchase the EDP once and for all I cannot believe it’s taken me this long to purchase something I’ve wanted for 20 years.

For the very sensitive who cannot use parfums the mist might be appropriate, the rest will find it a useless gadget. I have it but deodorant from this line dominates it by far, it is this light. On its own, I barely feel it.

I always get compliments when I wear it, winter or summer it always works, on top of it, it hydrates my body, pure luxury
