J'adore Intense

TLDR: Beautiful uplifting anytime floral- perfect spring into summer. Not to sweet, nicely blended and natural smelling. If you like or are thinking about trying a floral, this is one to test out. Don’t judge it only based on the description, and don’t dismiss it until you try it on skin. Enjoy! Full story: Confession: I bought this before I smelled it. It was brand new and they didn’t have a tester yet, but since it sounded great, I purchased it anyway instead of L'Or at the time. When I sprayed it first on a blotter, I thought it would be going back, honestly. Then I tried it on my skin, and it was magical. Just fantastic. All of the “heaviness” that I smelled on the paper is gone and it is a fresh, uplifting, bright and well-blended white/yellow floral. Perfect for spring, and I think it will be great into summer, too. There is a touch of sweetness, but it isn’t heavy and I don’t think it will be cloying in the heat. At least on my skin. I am not quite 50 yet, and I wore the original J’adore as my SS when it first came out, but stopped when they reformulated because it gets a bit of that sour cat pee smell in my skin. This J’adore Intense has none of that- only smoothness and a soft sweet undertone. The sweetness is there, but not out there. I would not call this gourmand, at least for how it smells on me. Definitely floral primarily, with just enough sweet to round it out and keep it out of that sour zone I get with the regular J’adore. There is a bit of the original J’adore DNA, but goes in a very different, smoother direction that actually works for me. I also have L’Or now, and I would say this is quite different and not at all redundant. Intense is actually brighter and more uplifting/springy than L’Or, which is more heavy on the white flowers like tuberose and jasmine. Intense is more blended yellow florals, to me. When I read the description I thought it was odd they were releasing it for spring, but it is more Spring/summer appropriate, imho, than L’Or, and even more than the original, too. Maybe it’s the vibe that the Ylang Ylang brings (but not going to a banana territory), along with just enough honey to evoke the feeling of being surrounded by nectar-filled spring flowers with the bees buzzing around you. I find this quite different from L’Or, as well as the other J’Adore versions out there now. As for longevity- it lasts! At least as long as L’Or. I did not time it exactly, but it lasted over 8 hours on my skin (5-6 hours with at least arm-length sillage before becoming more of a skin scent), at least through the next day on clothes. Another plus- my husband, who tends to neither like fragrances nor understand why people wear them, likes this on me. So I’m loving this right now, and thought I’d share in case you are like me and cannot wear the current OG version.

Folks, J'Adore Intense is nothing short of fabulous. Scanning the note pyramid beforehand, I fully expected to roll my eyes. But J'Adore Intense is the PERFECT amount of sweet. Usually I consider anything this sweet to be juvenile and tacky. And while I know that perfectly describes the aesthetic 'some' of you strive for (side eye at specific people), this manages to pull it off in an old-school powerhouse kind of way. The apricot in the opening is heavy-handed. When the ylang-ylang and jasmine make their appearance, the sweetness hits a peak before settling into just the perfect balance of honey and sandalwood. The vanilla is there, but it seems to take a back seat. It all blends perfectly. Not only is the fragrance beautiful, but the quality is impressive. My body is a furnace that burns through most fragrances in a few hours, but this one stays with me the entire day. But it's not all perfection. While it is pretty, the bottle is shockingly CHEAP. The glass is PAPER THIN, and there's no way I'd pack this in a suitcase or carry it in a bag. You tap the side and it feels like a Christmas ornament. Yes, it's THAT thin and if you drop it once or knock it over, it'll be a goner. I'd recommend only buying the smallest bottle available. EDIT: The amount of pearl clutching, hand wringing, and relentless whining over anything created by Francis Kurkdjian is exhausting. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's REALLY not that complicated.

Quite dissapointed by this release, you can smell apricot, ylan ylang, jasmine and slight honey note. It is a nice, sunny fragrance but nothing new here, no specific note that stands out and gives the fragrance that oomph. It is quite longer lasting but projection is not there or I can't smell it in the air, could be due to mellow composition of notes. So, all in all it's a nice sunny none specific fragrance suitable for everyday or warmer days. They could have done better, if they had maybe added some notes or one to make it more specific with some bite to it would be much better. EDIT: I tried again as some stating that this fragrance is strong and quite sweet which wasn't my experience first, and the second time I tried I got that sweetness like an apricot jam, when sprayed too much it was borderline sweetness you get exactly from some jam, in the backaround is ylang ylang and throughout the fragrance you can smell honey, but the honey is kind of fresh, dripping and very luminious. The drydown is slightly woody, but like sunny wood, a bit dry and sun has dried out nearly all of the woody aroma. So must have been that I sprayed too little the first time..or..? It is strong, jammy, luminious and uplifting. I would wear it everywhere where I would want my perfume to be smelled and present and also to uplift my mood. So, it is a strong like in the end.

I’ve been a fan of the Jadore perfumes range for decades and I had to blind buy this new one. As soon it arrived, I quickly opened the box and sprayed on my wrist. After the first spray, I smelt and thought it was disappointing, so I sprayed again. The initial smell was disappointing as it didn’t smell remotely like Jadore. After a few minutes, I was wowed with a juicy apricot smell in a sea of flowers, ylang ylang and jasmine with a small tinge of roses. This beautiful scent lasted for hours. After 4-5 hours, the strong intense smell of sandalwood came into the mix, in some ways, spoiling the fruity floral scent. I suppose this is why it’s called intense. I had infinissme sprayed on my other hand for comparison and it’s bland in comparison and completely lacked the complexity this intense perfume. I think you have to give it at least 2 sprays in each pulse points to fully appreciate how beautiful this new perfume is. The intensity is reminiscent of perfumes of the past like Miss Dior before they were reformulated. The addition of apricots is stunning and really adds a new dimension to the floral base. Only downside is the new bottle is fragile unlike its predecessors. They have removed the solid glass base.

This is the only flanker I have in my collection, and the reason is because it smells absolutely nothing like J’adore L’Or, the other one created by Francis Kurkdjian. This is a mature and sophisticated perfume—niche material for sure. The jasmine note is darker; I don’t get any apricot. What I do get in the opening is a very sweet, dark jasmine that evolves into a creamy woodiness. There’s also a beautiful, bright, clean patchouli note that isn’t mentioned anywhere else. That powdery aspect comes across as a rich, resinous amber, layered with warm spices. I can’t name a single one for sure, but possibly cardamom or cinnamon. This is a top-notch designer scent that smells very niche, so don’t blind buy this one. In my opinion, it’s what you would expect from his own niche brand (before it was acquired by LVMH watered down). To simplify: it’s not the most people-pleasing—sweet, spicy, and ambery, very niche for a designer price. Just sample before buying. In my opinion hands down the best J’adore.

I was expecting a super sticky, sweet, low-quality, generic “grandma” perfume (honestly, the ageism some users display... no comment), as I’ve seen in many previous reviews here and on other sites. However, I’ve found it to be an excellent fragrance for those who enjoy yellow florals and honey. It has elegance and it’s truly ageless, anyone could wear it and it would suit them well. Suitable for year-round wear, day or night. Great sillage and very good longevity. It feels sunny, cheerful, and luminous, with a touch of sensuality. Perhaps the controversy stems from people expecting something more in line with the J'adore DNA; if that's the case, I understand the frustration because NO, it doesn't resemble Absolu, L'Or... or anything else in the collection. To me, it lacks coherence with previous J'adore releases, but that doesn't make it bad at all. Finally bought the full-size bottle.

I absolutely adore this fragrance. Sweet creamy apricot, with a melon like softness. It has a gorgeous honey note which is well balanced and subtle like fresh dew, not sticky cloying or overly animalic. Such a beautiful fragrance for spring and summer. The ylang adds a really stunning creamy quality that rounds out the profile nicely. Lasts a really long time on clothing and a decent time on skin (maybe like 3-4 hours). Sophisticated looking bottle but feels a bit cheap compared to some very heavy arab fragrances and is definitely slightly overpriced for a designer fragrance. Would recommend shopping discounted or secondhand.

I received a sample of this with my Dior foundation purchase and I'm surprised that I liked it considering I'm pretty averse to yellow floral and caramel notes. This is a luxurious kind of lactonic that stays well on my skin and has excellent projection. I will say though that upon dry down, it can smell slightly resinous or synthetic but nothing too distracting that it changed how much I enjoyed wearing it. Upon first sniff, it reminded me of those luxury department stores (which is a good association). Plus points on the fact that it was created by the legendary perfumer, MFK.

YA’LL!!!! I just tried this at Macy’s and I actually had to sit down and simply drink it in. She is that GIRL. What a beautiful interpretation of J’Adore. I have loved J’Adore for a long time and I wasn’t expecting this flanker to be so well done. I almost bought a bottle on the spot, but I decided to walk away and see how it settled on my skin. She is full of juicy, sweet, dripping summer fruit and flowers, but not over ripe. It’s so good and bright and YELLOW at first, then it mellows into a softer white floral and vanilla. Run and check it out! J’Adore is back, baby!!

Hands down to Francis Kurkdjian, he has a Midas touch. I had the very 1st Jadore, bought it in a hype , never liked. I gave it away. Never liked Jadore , too strong never worked well for me , but L’or and now this Intense version, OMG FK knows to perfect balance fragrances. Yesterday I sampled Cuir Saddle at Dior store, another masterpiece, even though I’m tired of smoke , rose fragrances, the description of the fragrance at website actually delivers what it says. He is a genius! The sweetness touch in this Intense version it is the icing on the cake !!

Well... J'adore! In the background, you can recognize the signature of J’adore with its lush floral bouquet, but here everything is draped in honey. The original leans fresh and floral, while this one feels warmer, more sunlit - glowing with that golden, honeyed touch. So if you love honey in fragrances, this is simply spot on. That said, I don’t really pick up any apricot - just that intense, creamy, slightly vanilla-tinged honey, wrapping itself deliciously around the flowers. Very likely a future purchase for me (I can't resist honey!).

J’adore Intense is my favorite out of the whole line. 😩💋💫 It keeps that DNA of the original, but it’s deeper and more rich. I get that apricot right away 🍑 blended beautifully with ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose 🌼🌹—very smooth and feminine. The dry down is what makes it for me. The honey, vanilla, and sandalwood 🍯✨ come through warm, creamy, and a little sensual. This was love at first sniff, but I fall even more in love with it throughout the day 💖 it’s just beautiful and very well done.

Dior J’adore Intense surprised me. The opening didn’t convince me, but once it settled on my skin it transformed into a beautiful, velvety floral. The honey and vanilla add warmth and richness without overwhelming the radiant bouquet of flowers. It’s juicy, elegant and remarkably well blended, with no single note dominating. A strong fragrance, yet so harmonious that the intensity never feels too much. One of the best modern J’adore flankers I’ve tried.

A wonderful aroma with a hint of fresh honey - a slightly sweet perfume with a pronounced honey-apricot taste, autumn-winter, but fresh and playful, golden and thick. Good durability and shine. It is not obtrusively strong and impossible to wash off - it is strong just as much as it needs to be. For me, it is completely unnecessary to compare it with other types of Jador of the brand. Each perfume is a separate work of art.

I absolutely love this version of Ja’Dore. It is my favorite by far. It has depth and definitely will be in my collection sooner than later. I’m testing it out now I love the longevity, strength and scent. It’s fruity floral but more sophisticated IMO. Dior won me back with this one.

This is fabulous! The opening reminds me of Carmina by Creed. As it settles, the composition melts into a smooth vanilla dry‐down with just a whisper of sandalwood adding warmth and elegance. The transition feels seamless, creamy, and addictive. Full bottle worthy.

Maybe it’s basic but I like it... It’s sweet and powdery, very yummy to me. Kinda sensual. The honey doesn’t feel artificial at all. I keep smelling my wrists. Simple but nice and good sillage

I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I did. I do like the new L'or but only had a mini and didn't feel the need to get a FB but smelling that again I might change my mind, very pretty fragrance especially for my age group. The Intense on the other hand I really enjoyed much more than I expected. I didn't walk out with a FB but who knows, maybe the next Ulta or Sephora sale I might. I see this as a very tropical beachy interpretation of the original. I can still smell the j'adore DNA in the core of the fragrance but it's very much in the background. It's like background noise. This is almost a completely new perfume. The beginning greets you with a lush ripened apricot just a tremendous rush if it. Like smelling an apricot orchard with the lush fruit ready to be picked now, immediately or they will burst. Then this banana peel ylang and what I suspect an actual banana accord come mingling in with a sweet very golden light in color clover honey and the j'adore DNA of jasmine, rose, vanilla and sandalwood. I find this very youthful and I don't know at my age if I can pull this off (I do have younger perfumes in my collection but I am steering away from buying more) but my much younger sister (young enough to be my daughter) would love this for a Christmas gift. I think I will buy it for her for Christmas instead of for myself. It just has a youthful vibe about it. Golden, sun kissed, beach glow up about it. It is a nice glow up for the J'adore line. Keeping it with the taste of the times which is very beach 🏖️ oriented but still leaving some (very little) of the original DNA intact. And keeping a nice elegance about it. I personally like it better than the original. I can see me wearing the new L'or and my sister wearing the intense. Could be a fun Christmas gift for us both while out shopping during the next holiday season.

Previous versions of J’adore had a strong jasmine note that felt slightly distant. I could still sense that intensity in L’Or, but this is different. From the very top, there’s a soft jasmine. It has presence, yet the sharp edges have been smoothed away. Layered over this is the sweet-tartness of apricot, making it much more approachable. After the bright, fruity notes, ylang-ylang and rose slowly unfold. The scent gradually warms up, coming together as a cohesive bouquet. It’s glamorous, yet never overpowering. A beautifully composed floral. The honey in the base isn’t overly sweet. Rather than adding viscosity, its role is to smooth the surface. Sandalwood and vanilla are the same; they don’t come to the fore but support the foundation. The top to middle notes are fruity-floral; the scent gradually warms as it moves towards the base, yet it never becomes heavy. Both sillage and longevity are quite strong. Yet the outline is soft, blending seamlessly into the air. Perhaps one needs to be careful how one wears it. When I hear ‘Rihanna’s image’, I tend to brace myself a little, but it certainly possesses both ‘strength’ and ‘suppleness’ at the same time. It’s a character I don’t currently possess. But as a fragrance, I can accept it. This might be my favourite of Dior’s FRANCIS KURKDJIAN creations?

The opening does smell like apricots, however only if you know that it's supposed to smell like that. It smells clean, but sort of sour/amber-y? That's most likely the ylang ylang kicking in. Fresh, but slightly playful. After a few minutes, just like in l'or by dior, it gets a bit salty? That's probably a thing of their general formula for j'adore. I barely get any rose. The apricots' note gets more intense. The wood isn't as prominent; it doesn't make the perfume heavy, but just gives the depth to the fragrance. Kind of reminds me of wet tissues, but not in a bad way. The kind of tissues that smell fresh and floraly-fruity, the kind I'd purchase over and over again. Not a perfume I'd associate myself with, but I love it. I feel like you could wear it at any age, but I can't really imagine a 50 y.o. woman using it. It's not a childlike scent, but it smells young. Definitely feminine. It's a perfect balance of an amber-y apricot, honey with rose and a fresh, a tad bit sour and salty ylang ylang. Could be described as powdery. It's a calming scent for me. Too pricey though. I don't know why the reviews are so different from each other.. 8.5/10

This is lovely, it’s reminiscent of the OG j’adore but with honey and apricot and more vanilla. This opens up with an intense ylang ylang and then comes the apricot and the jasmine and honey but the honey just makes it smooth and sweet like golden and warm not honey like cloying and very sweet. Just very golden it’s very cleverly done. Then as it’s dries down the jasmine becomes more prominent. Then in the deep dry down like the 4 hour mark it’s very vanilla forward with light florals with the jasmine. This is a soft fragrance it’s not intense as the name suggests it’s a beast in the first hour I would say but later becomes a more softer arms reach scent. I can imagine this would project more in heat or on clothes so would be nice on holiday or in height of summer. Overall this is a lovely addition to the j’adore line and as I haven’t had a j’adore in my collection in many years I’m glad this flanker is the one I have.its more tropical with the ylang ylang and makes you feel like your wearing a golden veil.

What would be the point for Dior in creating a flanker identical to the original? This version brings a touch of vintage, but in a different way from the original. It is not an innovation nor a conceptual creation — it was clearly designed for mass appeal. The opening is fruity and quite intense, which may be misunderstood at first, but it actually reflects an apricot interpretation: juicy and creamy. It then evolves into ylang-ylang with a more creamy and fruity facet, while the rose appears with a distinctly powdery touch. This may be one of the reasons why the fragrance can feel somewhat polarizing. The jasmine does not show its more carnal side here. In the dry down, the honey note is not particularly evident. I would not describe the perfume as truly sweet, since the powdery character dominates. The vanilla is interesting, while the sandalwood is not very prominent. I tested the fragrance for five days. It is a pleasant perfume — not innovative, but comfortable and easy to wear.

I felt very curious about this scent, so many articles and reviews that painted it like a weird anomaly...I had to try it! Ok they were right in some aspects...It is a heavy scent. It is floral, sweet and heavy, with a dense amber almost caramel note in the base and a scratchy musk....somehow it smells very nice on air...a little bit old but kind of sensual? I liked it. The base develops a honeyed amber with caramel, vanilla undertones and a heavy musk....it also keeps a floral bouquet with yellow flowers and red roses. The apricot is dried and extremely sweet. It is not the usual J'adore and it feels retro...heavy...almost suffocating in the first 20 minutes, but somehow the drydown works well on my skin and I love how it smells on the air... So yes, this is a heavy set weirdo but not the ugly Rasputia I had imagined after reading Elena's article. I ended up buying a bottle.

This is lovely. It smells like a peach Kir Royal you're enjoying with your girlfriends on a terrace by the beach somewhere in Spain or Italy. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I've always liked smelling the original on other people, but never enough to buy it for myself. My best friend used to wear it when we were in our twenties, and although I always enjoyed it on her, it somehow felt more suited to a more mature woman than it did to us. This is exactly what I wish the original had smelled like from the start, and I'm so glad I've finally found a version I enjoy enough to wear myself. It has all the boldness of the OG, but with a sweeter, sparkling twist that makes it feel much more playful. I could see this being perfect for younger women on holiday or heading off to university, but it's also versatile enough for a girl boss who wants to rock this beauty at work.

J’Adore Intense 2026 ✨ A beautifully full-bodied, sensually warm fragrance. It feels very feminine—rich, warm, and undeniably sexy, yet with a mature, polished character. On first spray (on a blotter), it already felt different from the typical designer offerings at Sephora. It doesn’t resemble J’Adore L’Or at all and moves in a completely different direction from the softer, more refined fruity J’Adore DNA. On my skin, it leans into a sweet, slightly vintage-style jasmine. I can clearly detect notes of honey and a strong, sweet ylang-ylang presence, which adds to its richness and depth. While I do appreciate the powerful sillage, it unfortunately triggers my allergies. That said, the longevity is impressive: it easily lasts over 24 hours on my clothing.

The first ever Francis Kurkdjian fragrance I like. It is rich and full bodied. Compliment getter. Vibrant throughout the whole wear, i love that it is both sweet and clean at the same time. It would be great as a signature scent, to me honey is the most prominent note But for $184+tax longevity&sillage needs to be better

J’Adore is not a perfume I’ve ever been drawn to but I received a sample of this and it’s pretty lovely. I sometimes find honey and ylang ylang notes a challenge but here they are nice. This isn’t my favourite kind of perfume but it’s a good performer so it’s worth a punt for floral lovers.

Smells like the bouquet of a summer bride. Happy, cheerful, delicious. Sillage and longevity are decent. Only downside is I was hoping for it to be more vivid per spray, I need about 5 to get the effect I'm wanting. The apricot fizz up top and honey note on the dry down is so beautiful...

This is very beautiful. On my skin it is a warm sweet honey floral.. I do not pick up much rose at all. It is soft, never cloying or screechy and the dry down is a lovely honey vanilla. It is beautiful at the start and the end of the day.

J'adore Intense was promising when I first sprayed it on paper, but then I tried it on, and meh. The opening was disjointed but nice. I mostly got a sweet tropical floral that reminded me a little of JPG Divine Le Parfum, with a touch of the OG Ja'dore edp, but not that much. So, it was sort of exciting on paper, but on skin it became mushy, scratchy, and chaotic. I had L'Or on my other wrist and I asked several people which one they preferred and everyone selected L'Or. The ingredient quality seems very poor and two hours later it smells like baby spit and generic sweet floral. It's almost like Dior tried to copy JPG Divine Le Parfum, which is a very good modern tropical floral-amber, and failed miserably. I'm not sure it is the garbage ingredients, poor blending, or cynical top loading to make it smell good on paper while hoping that the consumer doesn't think to try it on. I'm hesitating to blame Francis Kurkdjian for this because his own brand doesn't have as many duds as the house of Dior. I think this is all about using cheap ingredients to maximize profit. 2.5/5

I received a free sample of this. On initial spray I detected raspberry and white florals. I then read the notes and I was surprised to see apricot on there - but it makes sense. The best way I could describe this perfume is that you’ve just done the laundry, but there’s that one shirt in particular that still reeks of a horrible perfume you sprayed on the other day, and just won’t come out. That being said it’s not horrible, I just came to the conclusion that anything with a rose note just doesn’t work for me

I love J'Adore, I could wear all the limited editions, but not this one. The bottle is lighter, ok, the cap is a light plastic toy, the scent doesn't suit me. If I had to guess just by smell, I would blindly shoot one of the La Belle Gaultier ones. So sweet. They are honest, but pleasantly sweet, unrecognizable and now the masses can have it in a Dior bottle. I'll stick with L'Or 2023 and EDT, for the price an incomparable pleasure.

Beasty honey and ylang with jasmine. Strong, sweet and a bit dated to my nose. I only got a hint of juicy apricot at the begging and then the honey&flowers overpowered it quickly and will not leave. It's definietly more powdery than creamy to me, but after 4 hours the sickly sweetness subdued and some creaminess from the vanilla appeared. Still a heavy no from me.

I wanted to love this one so bad to add it to my collection, first I smelled it through my magazine and loved it , I also love all the notes in this perfumes thank Goodness I asked my SA to mail me a sample. I’m wearing it now and highly dislike it. Unfortunately I won’t be buying it unless it grows on me in the future.

This smells like a fruity cocktail. It's not exactly an offensive smell, but I can't imagine wanting to smell like this. To me it's mostly honey and apricot, ultra sticky sweet and just a bit much. Performance is very impressive though, strong sillage and it projects within a few feet quite happily for a few hours.

for some reason the marketing and notes of this had me expecting to LOVE it. I liked the opening on both the strip and skin (though that may have been me trying to convince myself), but the drydown was sickly sweet. not horrible but not the fresh, floral, sweet easy wear I thought it was.

I’m an older woman and as someone who has her fair share of powdery scents in the past, this is too much for even me. Maybe it’s just my skin chemistry but it’s even more so than, for example, Oscar De La Renta “Esprit D’Oscar” which I wear sparingly and mostly at night on a chill vibe.

No J'adore DNA in it, just sticky jam and cheap methylvanillin.

Honestly, this perfume is just foul smelling! It was enough that Dior had to put apricot in the top notes, but honey and vanilla in the base notes as well? It smells saccharine sweet and is just far too much for my tastes. I literally got a headache trying this when a lady working at the Dior counter sprayed this on me. Madison Francis Kurkdijan is seriously unskilled as a perfumer and all of his creations are artifical smelling, uninspired and mass market. I could hardly smell the ylang ylang, the jasmine and the rose in this. The honey, vanilla and apricot just coated the flowers in a sickly sweet syrup that is heavy handed and overpowering to my nose. It smells like something that you would buy your daughter as a starter perfume, honestly. It lacked any sophistication or subtlety whatsoever, giving me a dry and thick feeling at the back of my throat that was very unpleasant. All of Francis Kurkdijan's creations have been a major downgrade from the fabulous and brilliant François Demacy's creations and I can't believe that this, J'adore Infinissime and J'adore de L'Or have replaced my beloved 2017 edition of J'adore L'Or and my beloved 2018 edition of J'adore Absolu. Now those were great beauties and worthy of the house of Dior! I could honestly say that you could only wear this in fall or winter at night, due to how revoltingly sweet and candy-like it is. It honestly makes my teeth ache and makes me feel like I need to go to the dentist, after wearing it and having it last on my skin for 6 agonizing hours. Sillage is about moderate too, I would say. It doesn't have the longevity of J'adore Absolu and J'adore L'Or, but that is a good thing in this case. For this foul abomination, I honestly give it a 1/10. I hope it gets discontinued soon and the old version of J'adore Absolu and J'adore L'Or come back.

People here i would never forgive you for making me think this would be worth it ; it litterally is a grandma’s 🍑 smell. I never thought a fragrance could be that bad. Imagine vintage dusty rosy sour fragrance ; no sweetness here, no apricot or honey. It stinks af. Gladfully i wasted only 50€ for a 100ml on vinted (great deal), if it was full price retail i would have made yall pay to refund me 😂 (especially you Francis Kurdidjan - definitely on my boycott list now). Jokes asides, please try it on your own before purchasing. If you thought like me that J’adore edp is just a basic overrated fragrance (average), then don’t do same thing as me purchasing in hoping this would be elevated version of it. With that flanker, the initial OG glew down, just like Meredith Grey from Grey’s Anatomy (if you compare her on season 1 to season 7/8), and am sure Rihanna had that one condition in her partnership with Dior not to spray it on her lmaoo. If still you went on and blind bought this and regret : i found a combination for you, million gold for her « parfum » layered with that one.

This is horrible. I had to wash it off. Totally unbearable. I can't believe this is a Kurkdijan "creation". First spray is an overwhelming assault. So strong, it almost sent me into a choking fit. The dry down isn't much better. I recently went to Ultra and as soon as I walked in the door was hit with a tutti fruiti, almost kiddie, perfume smell. It actually flipped my stomach. That is what I smell after this dries down but with a greasy component from the cheap musk. There is nothing fresh here. There is nothing to lighten it up. It is dense and oppressive. I smell like I've been working in a candy factory all day and that smell has been embedded onto me - on my skin, on my hair, and on my clothes. I can almost taste it. Yuck! I must have tried over 2K fragrances since I went full throttle for perfumes. This is far and away the worst composition I've ever smelled, which is saying a lot because I've smelled some pretty bad stinkers. If this is the best Dior can do for one of their signature line fragrances, then you can stick a fork in them, because Dior is done.

This J’adore Intense is soooo sickeningly sweet. Ugh, does not share anything remotely to the original DNA. I had better hopes for it as the notes spoke to me on paper. It’s a scrubber beyond belief. Even then it didn’t fully come off. Save your coins on this one ,unless overpriced, overly sweet is your thing. Very surprising that Francis Kurkdjian is the perfumer. His personal line never has an awful fragrance as this.

Had a sniff today. It smells a bit similar to the original. I love Dior J'adore but not this one. I doused myself with it because I thought "hey, it's J'adore what can go wrong?" Turns out I was so wrong. It smells like floral cat pee. 😅But I'll give it another chance because I really want to like it. 🤞
