J'Adore Summer Fragrance

I have had this fragrance since 2005 and didn't realise this was the summer fragrance. I always wondered why the regular J'Adore does not smell as good as my first bottle and now I know. This is the most amazing floral scent- delicate, sophisticated, with a graceful character, and unlike what anyone else would say, it lasts on me all day. I have gotten compliments on this one from classy women. This is sophistication, nothing like the extremely sweet fruity floral. It is a true and delicate floral. I realised my mistake and now have figured out it is a limited edition scent. So I am desperate to find a bottle. I would LOVE to swap or buy if any one is ready to swap or sell. I can offer a tonne of perfumes from my collection. This perfume is elegance in a bottle. I don't know why such beautiful scents are limited edition

9/3/19 - Notes: Champaca flower, mandarin, crystallized orchid, jasmine, muguet, violet, Damascus plum, Amaranth Wood and blackberry musk. I can’t smell wood or musk - thank goodness! They must be a light, fresh scent if present. It’s now late afternoon - the hottest part of the day here in the Sonoran Desert - I just took a cool, relaxing, and refreshing shower. This frag is perfect for these hot “dog days” of summer. It smells clean and florally, and has a note of ozone or that “airy” note one smells during a thunderstorm. I was so pleased to find this on eBay! I wish they’d bring it back. Negatives - sillage and longevity are woefully short. What a pity for such a perfect summer scent.

I used to love this perfume. It was my first real perfume. After having my first child, couldnt use it for 2 years. My taste just changed for a while. Then I tried it again and I fell in love again. It is very special scent to me. I really can not compare anything to it.

this is better than jadore original! truly a shame it doesnt last longer its also hard to find

For many years, this scent was just a vast memory to me of youthful summer nights filled with fun. I was lucky to find an old bottle online, and despite the many years it smells exactly how I remembered it: sweet fruity and floral! You can recognise the floral J'adore dna, especially the jasmine and lily of the valley stands out. But it is very different from the original due to the sweet fruitiness. If anything, they are like mother and daughter. This being the young daughter with a lightness and sweetness to her. This is still a lovely summer fragrance. I wonder why Dior never brought it back on the shelfs.

If it was just a bit stronger would be my summer signature, truly a wonderful fragrance, but too weak,which is not surprising because it is alcohol free. It was a limited edition so I used it sparingly. My favorite of Dior J'adore. Champaca, woody notes and Damascus plum, what more could you want in a fruit cocktail!

When I layer it over the lotion and a bit of baby oil ( on writsts) this does indeed last quite a bit though it is more of a skin scent. Still, the irridescent bottle mesmerises me!

Very different from the original j'adore, a fresh scent instead of a mysterious 'deep' one like the original. And indeed, it does not last very long.

I found a long forgotten bottle of this at the very back of my cosmetic cupboard recently. I thought it had turned because the smell was so faint! Using the batch code checker it looks like my bottle was a 2006 manufacture!! Given that this is alcohol free, its no wonder the scent has faded. But it's still pretty as a skin scent.

The notes are incorrect for this one. I have a big demonstration bottle which has all the notes stated: Top: Champaca Flower; Mandarin Middle: Crystallized Orchid; Jasmine; Muguet; Violet Base: Damascus Plum; Amaranth Wood; Blackberry Musk

It's an adorable summer fragrance, but not long lasting at all, because it's an alcohol free perfume.
