Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming

Finally, I’ve purchased Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming . This was on my wishlist for a really long time but for some unknown reason it took me this long to finally add this to my collection. I’ve tried Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming for the first time back in 2018/2019 and it was a love at first sniff. Finally it’s mine! Better late than never I guess! How Does It Smell...? Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming has a beautiful sweet rose-berry smell with a musky dry down. I get a fresh pink peppery vibe which almost instantly fades away and then I get a beautiful sweet jammy-fruity concoction of Raspberry, Blackcurrant and Pomegranate. Gradually it turns into a beautiful and youthful Sweet Jammy-Berry Rose fragrance with some freshness of Peonies. The drydown smells heavenly with the combination of soft white musk and the jammy rose. And this stays linear till the fragrance completely fades away. Is It Similar To Any Other Popular Fragrance...? The opening of Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming kind of reminds me of my favourite Christian Dior Rouge Trafalgar. The drydown is similar to Miss Dior EDP. Also, the rose here has some similarities with the berry rose of Lancôme La nuit tresor. But I won’t call it a dupe of any of these perfumes. It’s unique in its own way because it took all the good things from the mentioned Fragrances and evolved into a Bright, Young and Elegant fragrance. It will cheer your mood instantly and make you enjoy the little things in life. How Is The Performance Of This Fragrance...? I get around 7 hours of longevity on my skin but on clothes it stays overnight. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming creates a beautiful Scent bubble and radiates within a hands distance of the wearer. It leaves a beautiful Scent trail as well. I usually prefer to use 4-6 sprays of this fragrance during daytime and warm weather. As it’s a sweet jammy rose fragrance hence, over-spraying it might feel a little suffocating. But during cold weather or rainy days you can over-spray without hesitation and as it’s an inoffensive fragrance you don’t have to worry about bothering the people around you. Is it A Complement Getter...? Yes, it is. In fact I find the whole Miss Dior line as complement grabbers. They smell beautiful, youthful and elegant so people around you will appreciate your choice of Fragrances. When and Where You Can Spray This Fragrance..? Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is perfect for all year round use. I personally feel it’s more suitable for Dates, Parties, Hangouts or other informal occasions. I won’t recommend it for meeting or interviews or any other formal/serious occasions. It’s a happy fragrance and goes perfectly with casual events. I just adore Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. I’m glad that I finally added this discontinued gem to my collection. Personally I always prefer Dior as they make mass appealing Fragrances. It is sad that they discontinued most of our favorite perfumes. I just wish they decide to bring the same Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming back again without any changes or reformulations. #review 💕 Please Note we all have different olfactory system so what is pleasing to my nose may not be pleasing to yours. It's always better to try a fragrance before buying a full bottle.

I have fallen in love with this beautiful perfume and think I have found a new signature scent! The red berries in the opening are delicious and fresh (not thick or syrupy to my nose ... ). The rose is fresh, but sweet and jammy at the same time (if that's possible? :)). The dry down is sweet and musky. Longevity on my skin was really good about 8 hours and the first time I tested it, I could smell it wafting from my wrists as I moved about during the day. I wouldn't say sillage is huge, but moderate enough because it's maybe a strong scent for some ... I don't think it's offensively strong, because it is strong and sweet (and obviously that's not everyone's cup of tea :) ) I never really considered myself a rose lover, but I'd recently been on the hunt for a fresh modern rose, and I think this is it for me. I used to have Parisienne, which had some of the same notes in the opening and heart, but was always too musky for me. I made a mistake when ordering and got the edp not the flanker parisienne extreme which I think was the sweeter one I had initially tested and liked (of course that was over a decade ago now ... ). At any rate, this is what I wanted Parisienne to be ... sweet, rosey, tart fresh berries. I think it could suit any age if berries and rose with a sweet musk is what you're after. Update: I have never done this before, but I bought a backup bottle! I love this so much and I'm hearing rumblings that this may be discontinued??? It's still on the dior site and all the discounters, but I can't take any chances now that I've found this beauty! Also- I’ve discovered less is more. The more sprays I use, the less I smell it. Probably becoming asnomic to it so 2 sprays is enough to smell it for a long time.

wow, how much i like this scent. This has been an expensive six month quest. i am an older lady 60+...you guys know what i am talking about. i wanted some fragrances younger people would wear. i teach high school and smell all the lovely fragrances the girls wear. Typical teenager: "you smell so good...what perfume are you wearing?" Blank stare, "I dunno miss" "well, where did you get it from?" Derp... "my sister got it for me." "Well, can you read the label and tell me tomorrow?" No response . "Well, what does it smell like?" Sarcasm ahead "use your words..." Ending in Total Frustration. i polled my students and they recommended anything victorias secret and nicky minaj, progress on this front. Ok, onward we go. not a dime of my money is going to nicky minaj. nuf said. Edit: I did smell them, but i am so anti Nikki minaj, I couldn't tell you what they smelled like. going to victorias secret is probably not going to happen. Edit: I went to VS and fell in love but that's another story. i tried all sorts of fragrances clerks recommended and they all smelled the same, lovesick, lovestruck, viva juicy, new miss dior etc... fruit plus patchouli. smells like cuban cigars (in a good way); i love them but now i own four different bottles and they all smell the same to me. I now know what a fruit chouli is. I get it. No more. so my wish became please let me find a fruit, modern, "now" fragrance that is not patchouli based. enter absolutely blooming. i stumbled across two youtube videos about it. very strong, long lasting, new to me, happy, gorgeous, wow. Went to macys instead of Walgreen. my only wish is that i could dab instead of spray. good stuff.

It’s tart, floral, and woody. Not sure where the woodiness is coming from but they don’t always get the pyramid correct. I love this tart quality in fragrances that you get from the top. Mon Paris Intensment and Si Passione have it as well. The peony is the highlight for me. Tart black currant, sweet raspberries, and a fragrant bouquet of May roses and peonies harnessed by a pleasant musk and a mystery woodiness. This scent is addictive and I want to decant my little bottle to spray myself throughout the day. The projection and silage is nice. It’s present but not stifling or overwhelming. Creates a nice little scent bubble when sprayed generously. Behind Miss Dior Cherie EDT, this is my favorite. By no means does this smell like MDC EDT though. That one is not tart at all and is sweet with the popcorn, praline, and patchouli notes. I'm now up to owning 7 oz of this stuff! I may sell off my collection. lol. (Note picture to left!) EDIT: I have been wearing this everyday since I got it. WHY did I wait for it to be d/c before trying this flanker?!! I already bought a back up bottle AND the travel rollerball to re-apply throughout the day. I'm thinking this may pass MDC EDT as my favorite edition of MD. This DNA just really suits my DNA. PDM, Chanel, Guerlain and Dior all do really well on my skin. I haven't loved EVERY perfume from all these houses but they all make sense of my skin and I think I get what they were trying to accomplish on my skin Currently now at 9.4 oz of this! I just want to make sure I don't run out for the next decade. lol

After what they did to Miss Dior (original) and mainly the fact that Cherie was gone forever, I sweared I wasn’t gonna touch another Miss Dior flanker...yet I couldn’t help but fell in love with this gem. I’m aware isn’t everyone cup of tea but considering that Dior butchered most of their good fragrances, I was pleasantly surprised by this one and actually shocked is still on their website. Then I’ve noticed they haven’t launched a set box for this particular one and I knew is on the life support. No point shouting out loud “shame on you Dior”. We’re all aware that everything they do at the moment is boring rose on top of more rose that doesn’t make sense. I wonder what Addict or Hypnotic Poison would smell like when they add more hideous rose in it and butchered them, because I can sense this coming...and I’ve nightmares thinking of it!!! Side note: I do love rose (obviously) but not so much of it and in such a weird combination. Anyway enough waffling...my point is I love AB because somehow reminds me a little bit of the beloved Miss Dior Cherie ( not a dupe but similarities) . Also all that jammy raspberry “yumminess” going on in the top notes really reminds me of Valentino Valentina Pink, which has been sadly discontinued (sigh of despair), also could smell some Tresor Midnight Rose and with peony in the mix it really gives me some La Colle Noire vibes, from Dior’s Maison collection. Lucky enough still available here in UK at the moment but probably not for long.

My beloved Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. This is a perfume for a lady. Generic in concept but unique in execution, in the prefect balance and beauty. Close to the skin it’s intoxicating, almost a little too much but I always want more. I feel transformed when I wear Absolutely Blooming The pink pepper is perfection in this scent, blended so beautifully with the tart fruits. A gorgeous raspberry, blackcurrant and pomegranate, to my nose it seems little tangerine too. The May rose and peony are a soft and happy and hold their place. The musk is in the back and comes through a little more at the end of the day, or night. And I would say with is a day and night fragrance. A spring, summer, autumn, winter fragrance, well you might of applied a little more lightly on a hot summer day but for me this is just perfect for any occasion. Now for sad part of my love letter, I hate Dior with all hatred for discontinuing Absolutely blooming and will never purchase again #BoycottDior ;). Sadly from my experience the juice doesn't seem to last for years and years in the bottle, my roller pearl has some left too but it has definitely degraded. I know some fragrance lovers have said that it got better with age so this could be variable. However it puts me off hunting down bottles online, I think I’ll go on hunt for a holy grail dupe. Prays for all the Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming lovers out there, my heart is with you and may we all find what we are looking for again.

hello everybody!! this was one of the first perfumes i fell in love with, and am so so sad over it being discontinued :(. i got it as a gift for Christmas some years ago, and the original bottle is on its last legs. luckily, i have 2 full bottles still in their packaging!! this is a lovely scent— tart, sweet, and fruity. the first spritz is remarkably juicy, the scent of black currant and pomegranate making their presence known as soon as you get a whiff. the raspberries elevate the scent into a more playful energy, invoking the memories of blended cocktails during spring break with your besties. the middle is quite sweet and floral, reminding me slightly of Rose Jam from Lush. not necessarily as citrusy sweet, but more like when Rose Jam dries down to linger on the skin. the rose scent is light and airy— not too different from the smell of walking beneath a blooming canopy of them. the white musk leaves the scent deep in your skin, this perfume lasting days on my skin after showering, and even weeks on blankets. this admittedly isn’t the most unique or interesting scent. there are plenty of tart fruity floral perfumes out there, this one just happens to be one of the best. while basic. one can’t deny its popularity for a reason. coming from a post-punk gothic lady, i urge you to try and find a bottle for yourself!! i am definitely conserving this perfume for special occasions only. Dior, bring this back!!!

Arrrgh the only Miss Dior perfume that doesn't smell cloyingly soapy on me, and of course it's getting discontinued! I'm glad I stocked up on a large bottle but a shame that the roller pearl seems to be gone already. I love using the roller on the go whenever I'm in need of a discreet scent refreshment but don't want to spray a cloud of perfume in public. I'd love for more scents to have roller options. I consider this my signature scent. This is what I wear on a regular day when I don't feel like wearing a specific scent, I basically want my skin to smell of this as default. It feels like I've been hanging out in a rose & red fruit garden all day. It smells natural and not fake perfumy, it's classy but approachable, sweet but fresh, not overbearing but it lasts long on skin, insanely long on clothes. I hope I can find a similar jammy fruit/rose replacement once I'm out of this. Update: It's been very warm where I live and I find this slightly too sweet-heavy so I decided to switch to Rose N Roses which has been fantastic so far (in return I imagine that Rose N Roses might be a bit too light for cold weather). No fruits in that one but it has the gorgeous classy Dior rose which I absolutely adore.❤️ No soapiness either which I really didn't like in Miss Dior and Blooming Bouquet. It's slowly winning me over more and more and becoming the new fav.

i have just finished my third bottle of this fragrance and i am mourning it! i fell in love with this scent the second i sprayed it almost 10 years ago in the beginning of my perfume obsession. i say a lot of perfumes are my favourite but this one is undefeated on my list so far. a beautifully complex fruity/floral mixture, with incredible longevity and silage. while i adore this perfume enough on its own, on a whim i tested out layering it on top of montale's roses musk and i was blown away by how beautifully it complemented absolutely blooming. roses musk adds an amazing depth that absolutely blooming doesn't really offer alone. i also add a touch of miss dior roses n roses just for fun, adding yet another rose layer to top it all off. it has become my absolute favourite layering combination that gets me endless compliments. must be so annoying to listen to me listing off 3 different fragrances lol but i will never gatekeep this combo, it's simply too good. it's become my signature and everyone knows when i'm around when the trail hits the room. will never stop buying this combo and most likely will wear it until i croak.

This is the strongest, most rich fragrance i own in my collection. Most things i own are soapy, musky and floral. I bought this right before the discontinuation almost 3 years ago, and i love it! So i'm clinging on to my bottle and i'm dissapointed as to why they decided it had to be removed. It's a slightly deeper, maybe even bitter addition than the lighter miss diors in this line up.I think the black currant and pink pepper is what makes it so. Also i believe that since my bottle is a bit older it becomes even deeper with time. The florals are beautiful, not to sweet. To me this also feels clean, although not soapy like many others. I think this could be a good fragrance for a woman any age, and a safe blind buy if you like the other miss diors but would like something more long lasting. My grandfather with a sensitive nose loves this fragrance, but others might find it annoying because of the rose. Can be overwhelming if sprayed excessively as its quite concentrated. Overall, beautiful! :)

The OG pretty girl perfume for me. I remember how beautiful and special this fragrance made me feel when I first sprayed it on me. I still love it as much as that day! It’s so sweet, fruity and heavy on the May rose and lasts forever. It doesn’t projects too much after the first 2-3 hours but it lasts on clothing until I wash it. The May rose and peony combo smells so natural and beautiful and the mix of delicious raspberries, blackcurrants, pomegranates and pink pepper adds to the overall sweetness and appeal of this classic from Dior. It’s an excellent blend of sweet fruits and pink flowers with a very subtle peppery note and a subtle musk touch. An elevated sweet fruity rose scent. Once I finish my bottle, I’ll be very sad to lose such a unique smelling perfume, because I am hearing that it’s been discontinued. Shame on you, Dior! Ruining your own reputation with such poor thought decisions to constantly reformulate your classics and discontinuing one of your best creations!

Got this today for Christmas! My husband loves it on me and he isn’t the type to compliment my perfumes. I love the dry down, starts out softly fresh and spicy and dries down sweeter with pink rose. This is going to be my signature scent. It’s light and airy enough for everyday but unique enough to be memorable. Love 💗 As an aside, I usually do not like peony, and by not like, I mean DESPISE. In this, it adds some fresh flowers without leaning putrid as it sometimes can to my nose. Edit: This is no longer my signature, but it is still gorgeous and unique. Others have said this is spicy or peppery, but I feel it is fuzzy and fizzy, maybe zingy would be a good descriptor. I wouldn’t say it’s gourmand, but it does have a sugar element. Nothing is like this and that is one of my favorite elements. Also, for a light smelling perfume, this is noticeable and has great sillage which is uncommon for this profile.

I can't for the life of me imagine why they discontinued this beautiful fragrance. It ranks among the best performance in this line IMO. And it's a beautiful, sweet, romantic fragrance that is suitable for all but the warmest weather. It's juicy and fruity, but the pomegranate and berries combined with the florals and white musk give it a warm and cozy feel. It's not the most original composition, but it's most definitely a lovely, pleasing scent. I wear this one both for daytime and evening use in the winter and fall, and mostly in the evening on cooler spring nights. I'm honestly not too crazy about the way it opens, because the pink pepper in the opening is a bit harsh and scratchy, and almost makes it come across as patchouli heavy. But then it dries down within about an hour and I'm left with a delicious fruity/peony scent that lasts well on my skin, and one that I'm happy to have in my collection.

Hands down the best perfume I’ve ever smelt. I am not into floral perfumes, but this perfume is absolutely gorgeous. The classiest, the most elegant, ultra-feminine, and timeless perfume I’ve ever smelt. The first impression is musky raspberry, but I can still smell the floral right out of the bottle, even though it dries down more toward the May rose (and a little bit of peony). Not as sweet as others may say, but it’s still very musky, so it’s not meant for summer (too heavy). I get a blossomy smell too, kind of like orange blossom. I can smell it on my coat for days — one of the most long-lasting perfumes I’ve used. And no, it doesn’t smell like a ‘grandma’ — not even a little bit. It is perfect for women of any age. I remember that it’s the first ‘high-end’ perfume I bought with my own savings, and it’s a shame that they discontinued the BEST out of the entire Miss Dior collection.

This is just fun in a bottle. It's playful and sweet, and thanks to the touch of spice and musky base, it's not silly or juvenile. I love how lively and full of personality this scent is! For me, it has the right amount of strength and longevity—not beast, not subtle, but nestled perfectly in between. I wish more fragrance releases in the 2020s had the presence this one does. Layers extremely well with even sweeter scents if you want to take it in that direction. I reach for this on days when I'm feeling especially social. In my collection, Miss Dior EDP 2017 is for work, and Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming EDP is for play. (It's so sad that both of these phenomenal beauties have been discontinued! I made sure to get my backups.) I truly hope that we'll see more in the Miss Dior line reminiscent of this style of fragrance in the future.

Just bought this today, my first real perfume (I've worn body mists my whole life) and i love it! When I first put it on I was hit with the fresh pink pepper which instantly went away and turned into a beautiful floral-fruity concoction of rose, pomegranate, and raspberry. Wearing it boosts my confidence and makes me feel very classy. Out of all the Miss Dior perfumes I smelled at Sephora today this one was 100% the best and if you're a rose or raspberry lover you need this perfume in your life. It also pairs perfectly with the EOS pomegranate raspberry lotion. One thing I must add though is that this is not a safe blind buy, it reacts very differently depending on your skin chemistry. It smelled delicious on my skin but when my friend tried it on hers she hated it, so make sure you try it on at the store before you buy.

Rating: 🤭🤗 Do I like it: Yep Who it is: a very caring and assertive boss lady that unashamedly likes pink Smells I get: citrus, berries, peony, rose, musk Meyer's Briggs type: ENFJ, ENTP God, I love this - the opening is a strong candied rose, or a handful of acidic berries melting into rose and peony. It mostly depends on the temperature you're at, but it's quite intense. The drydown, however - God, imagine the cleanest, most comforting white musk in existence, mixed with a tad of sweetness from a ripe rose. Simply marvellous. Honestly, this juice is what got me into colour pink. It's basically grown-up coquette juice. My SO bought it for me a couple of years ago, and even though I was always taught that gifting random perfumes is a no-no, it worked for him. If you love roses, this is a must try. Alluring. 🌹🤭🌹

This isn’t the first time my skin hasn’t gotten along with raspberry. It comes off as unpleasantly sour. Although, even on clothes it’s sour, so maybe that’s how it’s suppose to be? I sprayed 2 sprays and only got a light floral red berry smell. After an hour I sprayed two more sprays wondering if it was too light and nearly undetectable because I didn’t spray enough. This is pretty, but I feel I’ve smelled a red berry floral in many other forms that last longer and give pleasant wafts here and there. This is a very weak skin scent really quickly. I feel bad for those that are sad this is discontinued, but honestly I can see why it’s no longer being sold. Dior really neglected the quality control on the longevity and silliage on this one. Same with Blooming Bouquet.

Very beautiful fragrance from Dior; a fruity explosion or berries, floating in pink lemonade. This one lasts for ages and projects SO MUCH. Compliments are flowing with Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. My husband came home Thursday night after a work event and told me that I was smelling “so F good”. I got compliments from a staff at the cinema too. I would not say this is the most refined perfume, but it is a certain mood. It’s not something you wear when you want to be elegant but more of a scent for a fun moment. It does remind me of Sí for sure, but I would say that Georgio Armani is fruitier while AB would dry-down on vanilla mainly. Maybe it’s just my skin though. Overall would recommend for nights outs or carefree days.

This is really lovely, although I don't think it's for everyone. It feels like it could be very versatile, even though it's anything but neutral. It's a little less juicy than I expected given the notes, especially in the dry-down, but I could still see myself getting a big bottle of this. I didn't get any pink pepper at all until the dry-down, and then it became a total pepper bomb! Thankfully I love pepper, but I could see how it might not work on other people. I don't get much of the rose at all. It's a very soft (but not powdery) pepper-spicy floral I would put in the "pretty girl perfume" family, a la Delina, La Vie Est Belle, etc.—but I'd say this one is the quiet girl you have to watch out for!
