Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (2026)

I’m so confused how are people saying this is similar to the 2021 version when notes are completely different? If it is similar to the edp 2021 than that’s a huge disappointment was hoping for something in line of the 2012- 2017 version.

It’s already available in Australia from the Dior beauty online store because I bought a bottle just two days ago.

The initial spray was woof, yuck. I wish I could be more specific but I tried a few scents. Once it dries down it is “okay”. I didn’t get much sweetness until the dry down, but it’s not as sweet as the previous version. I’m not impressed with it-not very strong either.

I have the exact same reaction as 90% of the reviewers I see. It was annoying, then became expected, now boring to a point that no one cares. As you can see Miss Dior ‘2012’ was and is my signature scent even if the world comes upside down. Even if I have more than 50 bottles to my collection and thank God I stopped being that addicted. I remember how people were raving about the discontinuation of Miss Dior Chérie but believe it or not it’s reformulation 2012-2014 was kind of similar, not a very ‘new’ perfume. It was just the idea that Miss Dior is growing and follows the trend but remaining loyal to the chypre category. Now? Now it’s just a floral blah and the only available edition left to remember us what Miss Dior used to be is Miss Dior Parfum! Even FK tried to copy what Chérie used to be and he admitted it as he saw what Dior fans wanted from the line. Also, the only best selling edition from the line that left untouched (who knows for how long) is Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and the irony is that it’s a creation of Demachy. The discontinued now EDP from 2021 a powdery caress with a feeling of a vanilla cloud of a French bakery with crazy lasting power, the previous edition of it a too intense jammy rose/patchouli/rosewood with mature vibes (again it was something but ‘too much’ to be loved from all ages and now...what? A ‘creamy’ chypre?) A chypre with vanilla and sandalwood or even worse tonka bean on it’s base? I mean it’s not a joke anymore. For all of us who were lucky enough to experience what Dior perfumery was like, this is tragic. For the rests, they will never get why we get annoyed or obsessed with such ‘reformulations’ but I understand them completely. In less than 5 years the new in the power of 10 Miss Dior will belong to the past. It’s so tragic that they write more or promote the couture bow instead of the actual perfume. Who cares if it’s pink/silver or black & white? To me it looks cheaper compared to the metallic bows Miss Dior used to have. And to end this tragedy, I used to be mad with Demachy and his reformulations back then, but he was a real French nose/artist. Françis Kurkjian should better find a way to create more BR 540’s instead of destroying Dior. Their most concentrated and expensive edition, Miss Dior Essence smells exactly like the berry Haribo candies, advertised as a modern ‘chypre’ (without rose or patchouli), jammy and addictive? I mean, show some mercy haha. Is it a more gourmand take of the discontinued Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming of Demachy or it’s my idea? The new 2026 EDP edition copies the 2017 one with rosewood as the main star or what? Françis, do you know what creativity is? RIP Dior perfumery. Food for thought: Have you ever seen Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel being reformulated? CM VS MD was the absolute battle as they smelled very similar. Some editions come, Intense, Eau bla bla, but the classic remains classic and can be appreciated from someone who has no idea of perfumes to an expert. They made an Arabian perfume or Lattafa bottle a better option than Miss Dior. Congratulations!

This will be available in Australia from 16 August. I asked the sales associate at David Jones if they’d smelled it yet, and they very kindly sprayed it on a card for me. The opening is reminiscent of Miss Dior EDP 2017 with a touch of the current Miss Dior Parfum sweetness. The florals and patchouli are strongest in the opening. As it settles, it smells identical to the current Miss Dior EDP (2021), which I never really cared for. A little disappointing, as I was very tempted to pick up a bottle based on the opening, but for those who like the 2021 formulation or those who enjoyed it but wanted something slightly less powdery overall, I think you’ll be very happy with this one.

Dior will probably come up with a new Miss Dior every 5 years now? I bought it yesterday It smells 90% similar with the 2021 version, but the dry down is quite different . The 2021 is without patchouli and rosewood, 2026 dry down to an earthier patchouli and almondy like vanilla gourmand as stated by Dior. It is not super sweet I like it more than 2021! The 2021 give me headache sometimes although the notes look so perfect to me Edit: I think this is a mixture of 2021 & 2017 the opening is 2021 , while the dry down reminds me of 2017 I love this dry down of 2026 and think it’s beautiful ! With added patchouli and slightly sweetened almond, way better than 2021

It doesn’t really deviate much from the 2021 version, other than this one feels jammier, creamier and sweeter in the beginning stage. Otherwise it dries down to the 2021 version. I am in the minority of people who enjoyed the 2021, so I liked this one too. I just don’t think it was a necessary release or “reformulation”; FK be marking territory (le sigh). This one did get me better compliments than Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Crush, which apparently is a bit more divisive. And it stood against Dior Sauvage Extrait, which “regular” people don’t really seem to care about.

This is the reason why I bought 3 backup bottles of the 2021 EDP version. When mfk took over and released a new version of miss Dior, along with Demachy’s privé line slowly getting discontinued, I knew it was only a matter of time before they messed with the powdery vanillac perfection of the 2021 version. Sigh

There is no need for Dior to change this again. They need to come up with an original creation instead of rehashing what they have already done. At this point I am starting to think that fragrance houses are more interested in just selling products rather than producing beautiful, original creations. Bah!

Why they don't just create another line instead of remaking Miss Dior EDP for the fifht time?

It is the same as the 2021 version, maybe a bit sweeter.
