Miss Dior Le Parfum

Miss Dior Le Parfum is very different from all the Miss and Mademoiselle flankers. No, scratch that, Mistress Dior is in my opinion the only flanker any lady should buy. -more dense and rich? Yes!! -pronounced sophisticated character/elegant? Not only, to my nose she is "dirty" in a good way too. The exact aspect the rest of Miss/Mademoiselle flankers are missing -seductive, sensual and intoxicating? Absolutely -nocturnal fragrance, suitable for special rendezvous? Yes, but it deserves to be worn even in daytime. -oriental? Yes -chypre character? it might have amber and patchouli but judging by the result she isn't a chypre, not even chypre-like. If it had either oakmoss or vetiver as well ,then it would resemble a chypre. -prominent and opulent floral notes? No florals come off this perfume. Perfumer François Demachy said he “wanted to bring something precious and luminous to the composition of Miss Dior Le Parfum, like an oriental jewellery set or the reflections of shimmering fabric.” I will have to disagree with Monsieur Demachy... Miss Dior Le Parfum is way darker than what he intended it to be. Precious it is, but nothing luminous here, its fumes remind me of a lady in a black turtleneck always holding a cigarette, with a serious expression, yet smiling eyes. Starts straight up with amber to me. Patchouli develops in a matter of minutes and for the first two-three hours it is heady and not cloyingly sweet. I sense something vanillic, and a lot of smoke, so amber here is basically labdanum and vanilla. The patchouli although in the background, is a realistic one. Nor hippy-ish (sweet beauty Angel Thierry Mugler) and neither clean, rounded up (Coco Mademoiselle I'm pointing at you). Realistic herbalish patchouli and not so prominent. Not many of layers: citrus adds and then rose is more prominent. After three hours of wear the only thing is amber and the rest could be almost undetectable in the background. Heavy and mature. While wearing it, I made a connection with Prada Amber. Most prominent notes of both are amber and patchouli. They do resemble each other, but they aren't sister perfumes. If you like amber but not patchouli, try Miss Dior Le Parfum. Honestly if i sniffed the drydown without having experienced it from the start I would hardly tell that there's pathouli. Prada Amber on the other hand is definitely patchouli centered and in the drydown, even though the resins are a lot more prominent, patchouli is clearly detectable. Long lasting but I wouldn't say it projects much. A yes from me

While traveling some years ago I sprayed MDLP at a fragrance counter. Later that night while walking through the hotel lobby 2 ladies stopped me to to tell me I smelled amazing and ask what I was wearing. It stayed on my skin through a shower the next day and I would sniff the card for weeks after returning home. I appreciated the scent, but I didn't buy a bottle as I was not of age yet to feel comfortable wearing it. Then I tested again in 2018 when I began craving it, and though still beautiful, it didn't have the opulence or depth, or the same old school glamor as I'd remembered. Since then I've been waiting for an older bottle to add to my collection and finally my patience paid off. I have this beauty back in my life, a bottle with batch code 2R01. Wow wow wow is it a fragrance to be reckoned with. Although fairly simple in its construction, the quality of amber that was used is so apparent. It gives layers of depth that current mainstream ambers don't really compare. The rose is dark and velvety, as is necessary to stand up with this amber. And the patchouli makes it earthy and a bit dusty. One spray on each arm is more than enough to last a full day and night. Agree that it is like a modern, sexier Chanel Coco, but better! It is classy and refined, probably best suited for those with a taste for modern classic perfumes and sexy ambers. Although discontinued you can still find the newer formulas online fairly reasonably priced. It is still lovely and an amazing perfume, but if you've smelled the first formula you'll be aware that some things have changed, namely strength, complexity and lasting power. All suffered at the hand of reformulation, unfortunately, which can make locating the superior formula a painstaking process. If you don't care about such technicalities, go with the ones most readily available. MDLP was the most spectacular Dior fragrance for me. My biggest love from the house. Maybe ingredients became too scarce or expensive to justify keeping it in production, or it stopped selling well? Who knows. I'm just thankful to have it and plan to enjoy it while I can.

Wow. This is my first Dior fragrance, and I will cherish every drop. First, I have to say that I mourn the fact that I came too late to the Miss Dior Cherie party; it totally escaped my radar in the 2000s and I am too scared to go to Amazon or Ebay for it, as I've heard that (along with the renaming confusion) there are fakes of Cherie out there. So sadly I will probably never be able to experience Miss Dior Cherie. I had read reviews for the new Miss Dior EDP and I went to a Dillards to find it and sniff it out. I've been looking for a perfume featuring vanilla, jasmine and patchouli (but I have to be careful with patchouli because it can either be a friendly smell or a rancid cat pee smell on me) and I need a reliable patchouli. The new Miss Dior eau de parfum features a beautiful jasmine and is very fresh and sparkly, and the patchouli Dior uses is compatible with my chemistry (thank goodness). And then I picked up the tester for Le Parfum, and spritzed that on my other arm. Miss Dior Le Parfum shot up into my nose and then straight down to my heart and vanquished me! Everything inside me just went BOOM! Straight away I got the most gorgeous vanilla from this. The rose and mandarin are way in the background (they are there, but they are a soft support, with almost like a trace of a berry note) but on me this one is primarly amber, vanilla, and the patchouli gives it a dark, lush, almost boozy feel/smell (no cat pee). Bought it right then and there. I had only spritzed it on one arm and for the rest of my day's travels, I drew nothing but compliments from people. I can't compare this Miss Dior to previous versions, but it has won my heart and I will have it with me forever. I love how it is so concentrated, and one spray is all I need. It lasts forever on the skin. Later this year, I will go back for another bottle to store away for the future...all of this renaming and reformulating every few years is highly unsettling.

The first time I smelled this was shortly after it was released. It was on a hot sunny day in the Caribbean in a well air conditioned store. Usually I always let my wrist dry for max 5 seconds before I smell it, since some perfumes (or testers) can have a very strong or alcoholic start. However this wasn't necessary with Miss Dior Le Parfum, instead there was a beautiful magical cloud of the most alluring, charming and elegant scent my nose has ever experienced. It was not at all what I was expecting, since I wasn't wowed by the original Miss Dior line. I instantly connected with the scent and for the first time at 23 years old I thought ''this is it, this is me''. I knew right then and there that I never could be without it. It was unlike anything I have ever smelled before, so incredible, chic, elegant, warm, reminiscent of the perfumes from the old days but still very much modern. In the opening I can clearly smell the mandarin, it smells delicious and carefree. It transitions smoothly to the combination of vanilla and sweet rose, the warmth from the amber really stands out in this, and with just a touch of earthiness. It is distinctive and luscious without being cloying. Miss Dior Le Parfum is a modern and polished floral-chypre with a refined patchouli, a sensual amber presence and aura of sophistication. It is a very high quality perfume and lasts for over 12 hours on my skin without needing to lotion up and take a warm shower prior to application. It radiates beautifully but stays close enough. The current version isn't as heavy and overpowering as the original release, which was a strict 1 spray perfume for me. With this one you could go to 3 sprays, maybe 4. My 2 bottles are from May 2018 and are also a dark amber color and do not smell like fresh perfumes, it smells like it always has, just with a tad less heaviness.

Let me tell you a story first before reviewing the perfume, I've always been against the whole "Miss Dior cherie" thing. It's just so damn sweet that it made me gag. When I went to buy midnight poison and hypnotic perfume that i've been saving for the saleswoman told me to try this, so i was like "No, I don't like any miss dior" she was like "Just try this" I told her to apply it on my wrist. Now to the review, the first minute was disastrous, it smelt so weird on me kinda like benzoin and it made me turn my face away from my wrist. I ignored it, i was proved right again or so i thought.....She gave me 2 samples and i thought i'd never use them but today i just felt like giving it another last shot. Skip the same weird benzoin scent for a minute, but after another minute, a beautiful beautiful patchouli emerged sweetened with amber with a notable hint of vanilla. 10 minutes later appeared the orangey mandarins along with the roses. MY GOD!! I LOVE IT! I just sprayed a bit more, on my wrist and on my clothes. On the clothes the mandarins, roses and patchouli appear. The dry down on my skin was amaziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, vanilla dried patchouli with a tiny bit of amber sweetened orange. TO DIE FOR. It's such an elegant and classy perfume. So so so so beautiful. It gives a really warm feeling like it's caressing you in the cold and keeping you warm and cozy. Suitable for fall/winter. A day perfume in my opinion. VERY long lasting and the sillage is really good. I'm dying to get this. I want it so bad.

Miss Dior Le Parfum - the scent as if from a fairy tale about balls & Princesses. It sounds soft, but bright. The fragrance is sweetish, solemnly exalted, is modernly classic, very classy. I think it's perfect for Proms& romantic dates. It was surprisingly resistant and i noticed its three stage modification. At first the scent is powderly-sweet, like a fresh honey; and then - a sea of roses... as sweet dream. So it opens - the tenderest roses & luxury powder (whens enter perfume stores, it smells like this. I LOVE IT. I ADORE IT SCENT.) After 10 minutes the aroma begans to shimmer and change : it enveloped me in a soft creamy haze. So fondly, so gracefully, feminine. The base of the fragrance contains chocolately patchouli with a slight herbal hint & mist of amber. And with all this, there is some kind of chill in Miss Dior Le Parfum, throughout the sounding of aroma. And it's very beautiful. In the correct dosage, the perfume is gorgeous. I will never agree with the opinion (as some write )that the fragrance is for a mature women. No. Miss Dior Le Parfum is primarily for Miss, for a girl in her 20s, mid -20s, confident and as chic as Miss Dior Le Parfum by Dior. In fact, of course, this aroma is suitable for all women at any age, because Miss Dior Le Parfum is a superb scent from the category of those the can be proudly called - french perfume. Not on by its concentration, but by the essence of the sounding. Now very much it is not enough that's the kind of perfumes - i mean of Magnificent.

I bought this without smelling it first because I assumed that it would be a stronger version of the original miss Dior. When I got home and sprayed it on my skin , I realized that this was a completely different perfume. This is a rich, classic powerful fragrance . I can't detect any of the original miss Dior DNA in it . It reminds me , although they don't smell alike , the organza by Givenchy. They both have the same warm,sweet creamy quality. All the Dior perfumes have an airy,thin electric quality but this one is very full, rich ,grounded ,thick and creamy . Although it has that sweet candy caramely quality it has be done very well and tasteful and it doesn't feel cheep or very hip and modern this scent to me screams rich classic and expensive. It's definitely a winter perfume because of its thickness and warmth. But despite its warmth it's not comforty or huggy and cuddly it's a scent I would wear to go out on a dinner in an expensive restaurant. Although it seems to be very strong when I first wear it after a while calms down to a soft sweet powdery caramely ambery scent. It has good staying power and good sillage . Those types of scents pretty much always are good for both sexes but this on is definitely more on the feminine side . Although I adore this perfume I find it a bit too much for everyday use I keep it for special occasions only

Luxury smells like Miss Dior Le Parfum. Deep, ambery base with smooth vanilla anchor florals so well blended that I cannot even recognize the rose. I marked it as good for spring, winter and autumn so I am wearing it today to verify. It might be too dense today. Too powdery-sweet. Evening in the opera, however? Yet I do not feel any discomfort in it on a sunny 14°C day. It is caressing and beautiful. Still, beautifully floral on a trail. Francois Demachy is my nr 2 parfumer and I will miss his sensual and voluptuous creations that play so well with my skin. Kurkdjain has clarity to his creations but is also more mathematical. My number one remains the similarly fancy Jacques Polge in whose creations I can bathe. But I must say - it lays close to the skin after an hour. I catch occasional wafts of it during a day but it is calm. Office safe, as it dries down to vanilla-musk-rose thats just aromatic and slightly powdery, floral and surely not too much, just a silent personal aura. Far from beast mode diffusion of L'INTERDIT by Givenchy. But lasts till next morning on my skin. I see how this is an updated classic but I would not call it a chypre or retro at all. It is contemporary. It is so elegant in every way. If you can still find a bottle, like classics and autumnal scents - I highly recommend to buy it.

First of all, can I say that I AM bothered by the back-and-forth banter?... No offense, but these are not "reviews". That's what the forum and pm's are for. I don't mean to be offensive, I really don't, but unless it is a comment about the actual perfume, it should really be a pm or in a thread. These comments clog up the reviews page. Every person should review each perfume ONCE (maaaybe twice, if needed). Keep in mind you can always EDIT your review with the little pencil icon in the corner. No need to post 5, 6, 7 "reviews". That is not what this page is for. Onto my actual review... I have the 2005 and the 2012 versions of MDC in addition to "Le Parfum". I find this one to be more grown up, less sweet, and slightly more sexy while still having the MDC vibe. Longevity and sillage are better with Le Parfum, and I like the cute little bottle. I do like having both the 2012 version and Le Parfum as I feel they contribute different things. The 2012 MDC is more playful and sweet, and Le Parfum is more sultry for a night out or a date. The amber is a gorgeous addition. It gives the scent a richness you don't find in the EDP. If you are reeling over the 2005 debacle, just give Le Parfum a try. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Miss Dior Le Parfum is my favorite fragrance from the iconic Miss Dior franchise. The composition of this elegant and luminous chypre-floral opens with an oriental, earthy, ambery, and enveloping patchouli, accompanied by an underlying freshness. Delicate citrus accords provide a very subtle sweetness, leading into a heart of dark rose absolute, opulent and intoxicating, caramelized in amber with powdery nuances (Bulgarian and Turkish roses), balanced and masterfully sweetened with vanilla. All these ingredients are complemented by balsamic and resinous accords that infuse warmth and sensuality into the drydown. The amber sweetness that remains on my skin after about 10 hours is simply exquisite! The diffusion and sillage are of high to moderate intensity. An olfactory gem that, unfortunately, is no longer produced. However, if you have the opportunity to try it and you're passionate about amber rose fragrances, don't miss it! This review is for my bottle with the batch, 2R02 with a production date of 2012-04. In its original size of 40 ml. My bottle is already 10 years old. This really smells sublime!

I love this perfume! This is definitely my personal favourite from Miss Dior series... Firstly I want to say to those that don't like other Miss Dior fragrances, do try this one, as to me it's a completely different take on Miss Dior and doesn't bear much resemblance to the other perfumes from this line. The notes are perfectly balanced here and they all work in synchrony to create this delicious composition. I feel like it's very hard to describe how this perfume smells, as the notes are in high concentrations and they are detectable even after long hours! I personally can't smell much of a rose here, but amber definitely stands out in this scent. I feel like if this perfume could be a woman, she would be beautiful, sexy, dark, charismatic and seductive and yet very very mysterious... I feel like this fragrance is so feminine, powerful, slightly seductive, but also very elegant and timeless. I wear it for special occasions only as well as it's a perfect scent for a date! I simply adore this fragrance and Dior, don't you even dare to discontinue it or change formulation here!

This was the second perfume that I ever bought for myself and my first dior ever. Le Parfum is exquisite. Something about this smells very "Italian" to me. It revokes the memory of a woman I saw on TV when I was very little. I don't remember the show but I clearly remember her. She was tall, slim and wore a tighly fitted black dress with a bright sharp red lipstick to contrast against her dark hair and fair skin. She smoked cigars and wore a sophisticated hat with a black net which covered her honey-green eyes. I imagine she wore something like this...or perhaps Coco. Actually, I see similarities between Le Parfum and Coco. Coco, of course, is beautifully spicy, which is something that LP lacks...But they both have the sweet rich amber, the dark rose and slightly spicy/smoky patchouli. Le Parfum is like the modern grand-daughter of Coco to me. Classy, different and charming. It is an absolute shame that they reformulated Le Parfum. The reformulated version is like a ghost of the original...still there, but barely.

This is really, really beautiful. The best MDC since the 2005 version (and although I am a huge fan of the 2005 version, I honestly find this one to be just as good if not better.) It is ultra feminine, warm and sweet. The sillage is just right without being overpowering and although it's sweet, it's not cloying or sickly. I don't smell a lot of patchouli actually, I think it's just there to temper the sweetness. For some reason it seems very floral+fruity smelling (I guess the fruitiness could be coming from the orange top note, but I think it's more likely that the rose is so sweet it takes on a candy/fruity aspect). Signature scent worthy and one of the safer blind buys out there (though I would encourage everyone to always test everything before purchasing). Just gorgeous. Edit - now that I've heard all the Miss Dior line has been repackaged (for the millionth time) could someone please comment if this scent has been reformulated? I'm scared!! Well, I got a back-up just in case..

This is an amber-patchouli bomb. I adore it, but if those notes aren't your jam, I wouldn't bother chasing down this one (it's currently very hard to find). It's definitely unique by today's market standards; the opening reminds me a lot of Chanel Coco EDP. Unlike other releases in the Miss Dior line, this one actually feels like a true chypre, with a decidedly vintage flair. I don't see lovers of Miss Dior's current formulation falling for this one - they couldn't be more opposite. While current Miss Dior EDP is a tame and ladylike floral, this is a voluptuous, spicy, oriental leaning concoction. Needless to say, it's potent stuff, better suited for evening and fall/winter. I wish Dior would bring it back, but the 75 ml bottle I have is probably going to last a good few years, because it's definitely a "special occasion" scent. It's so grandiose it feels out of place on mundane days. It has excellent projection (no need to overspray) and longevity (12hrs+) on my skin.

A true perfume. Feminine, classy, and classic but still remarkably unique. Very tasteful and alluring. I'm very drawn to this perfume and it's become one of the most popular in my wardrobe. If only the bottles were bigger than 40ml, then we'd be in business! Amber, rose, and patch are the key players here, and they all share the spotlight. One doesn't dominate over the other, they all blend together as a perfect trifecta. I don't get much vanilla, but there's certainly a detectable hint of orange there which lends the perfume a sweetness. Overall, Miss Dior le parfum has an almost thick, syrupy quality to it. Not in a cloyingly sweet way, just in the sense that the ingredients are rich and concentrated. I love it so much that I'd probably wear in summer too but with one or two sprays vs. the three of four i've been wearing in winter. its an elegant but young scent, and i think anyone could wear this. its really beautiful. very femme, quite a regal air about it...

Wow.....what a fragrance! I recently bought this based on all the reviews and recommendations on here. I sprayed one spray on left wrist, dabbed on right wrist and spritzed once lightly on my neck. Boom! Patchouli bomb, amber, tobacco?, citrus, that "old lady" perfume smell that I associate with diaper pails and ash trays. I almost scrubbed it! But, I decided to wait it out and I'm glad I did. After the first couple of minutes this settles into a beautiful caramel, boozy, minty, slightly rose, warm ambery goodness. This is not for the faint of heart! This is a womanly, powerful, sexy, mature, classy...definitely night time and winter time scent. This is a scent that I would reserve for a special night out with a loved one whom I only wanted to pay attention to me. I swoon a liitle bit when I smell this dry down....definitely a candle light dinner, dancing, romantic, cuddling and then "who knows what gonna happen" type of scent! In my opinion anyway......:)

It's a damn shame that Dior decided to create so many variations in the Miss Dior line, Miss Cherie Dior becomes Miss Dior edt and what's this Miss Dior (new) Eau de parfume?! It would be sooooo easy to pick up the wrong bottle especially if you were buying a gift for someone. The bubbly popcorny edt for instance is a markedly different fragrance from Le Parfum. They should not share the same name. That being said .. I Loove Miss Dior Le Parfum, it is a heavenly gentle Amber with a touch of citrus and the lightest dashes of patchouli and vanilla. There is no heavy handedness in this perfume. The silage is gentle and longevity moderate. The rose is mellow. I probably wouldn't even have tried it had I known that the mid notes were rose AND rose. Rose and I don't usually get along. But here everything is blended so expertly that this is THE perfume that if I were wealthy, would become my signature scent. Until then (haha) I'll have to save it for good.

This is a very luxurious amber vanilla with a rose 🌹 kick based fragrance. It’s gorgeous. However, I will say that this is more mature. I wouldn’t say it smells vintage or dated, but it definitely doesn’t smell like anything currently on the market. This is not in the realm of Dior poison girl, Marc Jacobs daisy, Versace bright Chrystal etc. This is more dense, more amber and the rose isn’t fresh at all. It’s warm and resinous. The citrus isn’t bright but more subdued. Not at all sour or punchy. Very discreet citrus I’d say. Ultimately in the dry down, you’ll mostly get a wink 😉 of patch, and loads of amber and vanilla with a small kick of rose. It’s like an inedible gourmand. You want to eat it but know you can’t. Very much a safe blind buy if you love amber, vanilla or both. Bottle is stunning with great weight, price can cost an arm and a leg with this also being RARE and a hard find. Longevity is great and projection is okay. A definite LOVE ❤️

I was lucky enough to get a 2012 version of miss dior la perfume. Im pretty sure it's the preformulated version. This blossoms so beautifully on my skin! This is the first chypre in my collection and i love love love it! At first spray i smell oranges and lots of patcholi. As it dries down i swear i smell oakmoss though it's not listed in the notes, and it reminds me of agent Provocateur's Petale Noir. I had my husband smell it just to see what he thinks and he said it smells like oranges,buttered popcorn and tabacco. Lol. This is a very rich and thick perfume. As it continues to wear the ambery notes and roses peak out still retaining the oakmoss notes. The sillage is perfect and after a couple hours it becomes closer to the skin. Longevity is pretty good lasting between 6 to 8 hours on my skin and that's good to me seeing that i have perfume eating skin. Wonderful scent. I haven't smelled the new version but the 2012 is amazing.

This fragrance is my new love. Ladies, they had this on Fragrance net not too long ago. I wouldn’t keep this secret to myself because I think other women around the world will find this beautiful. Idk why it’s discontinued or why Dior does anything they do regarding Miss Dior, but this one is a delight. I live in hot Florida and this still rocks for a night out on the town. If you live in a cooler climate, this could be a daily. The patchouli is similar to the La Vie ebelle, which I love, but it’s not that perfume. It’s less sweet and more sexy. Yes this is a sexy, date night parfum, in my opinion. When you spray it the night before, I can guarantee this baby will smell the next day when you wake up. Be careful what you do that night because you’ll want a good scent memory of this one. ;) PS - I’m not a rose lover so the rose is not strong enough to deter me from this. Just very feminine and sexy scent.

This is still the best version of ANY of the Miss Dior vintages and line up! I gave up for several years trying and trying new release after new release, each worse than the one before. This is the one that got away from me 🥹 If I had foresight, I would have bought numerous backups. Unfortunately at the time, I was fairly new to Dior and didn’t understand the range and couldn’t find the version I was in love with in store,, until after it was reformulated. In fairness, I don’t think the sales associate was well versed either. This version has depth from patchouli, sweet florals, a cosmetics counter powderiness, and an overall vibe of “Ladies that lunch.” It smelled super regal and gave constant compliments. You smelled like a lady that got things done, while maintaining her femininity. Now the 2021 EDP version is my second favorite. They finally came back to warm, sweet & powdery elegance.

Dior, how dare you. Bring this back! They made the best Miss Dior flanker to date and then got rid of it... why bother making such a masterpiece to begin with? Le parfum, you are irreplaceable. I fell in love with you right away at first spritz, back in the early 2010s. I bought it for my mom and decided it had to be mine too. This is so elegant, so classy; the scent of a wealthy and refined woman. I feel like a chameleon when I wear this, as though I have imposter syndrome. It's simple, but so well-blended. I can pick out every note, and they dance in exquisite harmony: orange and sweet, decadent amber supported by rose and patchouli. I treasure this dearly and wear it only for fancy or special occasions. I have 4 backup bottles. Longevity is 12+ hours and sillage is moderate to large. Notes according to my nose (in order of prominence): amber, orange, patchouli, vanilla, rose

I waited to buy this because there seems to be much confusion for perfume lovers about just what this is, as there are so many Miss Dior flankers out there! I took a chance and bought it, never having smelled it. I knew I made the right decision as soon as I sprayed it. Which, by the way, two sprays was too much! It's super strong and very long lasting. 8+ hours. I can catch the citrusy beginning and the rest is just delicious amber, patchouli and vanilla. It is so warm and comforting. I did not get the rose smell at all. While wearing this perfume, it felt more like 'me' than any other. Dior perfumes just really work wonderfully with my skin chemistry. Look at all the great reviews and buy this! It's not discontinued. You can find it at Nordstrom online, I believe Saks online too, and maybe Barneys, etc...The Dior website itself is still selling it, so...not discontinued.

I have had this perfume for a week now and it is LOVE!!! I tried the tester in the shop and it was clearly exposed to too much fluorescent lighting. Yet I was still intrigued. Thanks to the reviews and descriptions by other fans of this I knew not to judge it by the tester. I consider it somewhat of a blind buy but it was really thanks to so many glowing reviews that I bought it. I am not sold on the longevity of the perfume yet. Some days I can hardly smell it....but I have noticed I can only smell it when I spray my neck and chest. If I spray it on my wrists it is gone in an hour or so....I don't do that anymore as it is clearly a waste!!! So a great big thanks to all the fans who reviewed this one before me!!! Oh!!! And I forgot to say anything about the smell!!! To me it is like Chanel's Coco and Miss Dior Cherie had a child and this is it!!!

Miss Dior Le Parfum is a beautiful, sweet, mature and sophisticated woman. I am always afraid of patch in my frags, but this one has it tamed and babysitting all the sweetness swirling about it. The amber gives an expensive and deep vibe that dances with the patch. My skin eats frag, but this lasts for at least 8 hours on me. WOW. I can't imagine how long this lasted before reformulation. I have to put this in my personal top ten of frags; as does my mother. I walked into her house and the first thing she said was, "you smell wonderful! What is that?" Thank goodness I had brought my decant supplies, otherwise she would have taken my FB! I will be getting MD EDP next, and look forward to it being just as amazing as this one is. **2012 formulation, my bottle is from 2014. People say it’s not a crowd pleaser but, this is the most complimented perfume in my collection. This is a gorgeous fragrance but, proceed with caution. You literally only need ONE spray. It’s heavy and opulent, intense but not harsh. I don’t find this perfume sexy or sensual. It’s very classy, elegant, beautiful, very feminine and grown up fragrance. It’s very long lasting. On my skin I’d say more than 12 hours, on clothing - dayyyyssss. This projection and sillage is enormous! I went to church with my MIL and niece and my MIL was sitting in between. I heard my 21 yr old niece say “someone smells really good.” As we hugged goodbye she was like “OMG, you’re the one that smells really good at church!” I only wear this on colder months. It’s too heavy for summer IMO.

Oh my! Thanks to the wonderfully generous Xrayer, I have my very own bottle of this beautifully womanly fragrance! A warm sweet chypre, this is a sensual delight. I've just torn it open and liberally sprayed it through my hair and over my arms and am walking around with a big grin on my face - spicy without being oriental, more in line with Dolce Vita (or a cloveless Coco) but can see the references - the bones of those two powerhouses crossed then brought forward a couple of decades, modernised, vamped up with vanilla amber which is sexy without being remotely sugary (more Serge Luten's Ambre Sultan than Juicy Couture). Deeply sexy, feminine and fun all at once. YUM, thank you Xrayer! Edited as after a few wears I concur with other reviewers that this does indeed smell like Christmas, mmm.

I'm not a huge fan of amber but this scent is really divine! All the notes are perfectly blended. So elegant, longlasting, sultry, sweet and ultra feminine, it's an amazing oriental scent (I can detect a hint of incense too). It really smells like a modern and lighter version of Coco, it also reminds me a bit of Poison (because of incense) and a little bit of Flowerbomb (but MDLP is far superior) for the light caramel note. The drydown is to die for, warm and powdery: similar to Coco Noir's one but slightly sweeter. Powerful yet cozy, lasts forever. Perfect for fall/winter but if you spray it with light hand you can wear it all year round (summer evenings too). A stunning fragrance in a bottle that is a true work of art. A must have for amber/patchouli scents lovers.

Absolutely gorgeous Miss Dior le parfum' I lucked out a bottle as a blind buy and don't regret it, it's rich sophisticated and luxurious. The amber honey and vanilla with the Roses hit me right away the patchouli is less pronounced on me it's missing something for me perhaps a woodsy note oakmoss or bergamot, it's not to sweet or have a wow factor but overall nicely done and longevity is perfect... Its not a loud chypre by all means but I think Monsieur Demachy did a great job considering all of DIOR'S finest fragrances are being discontinued and reformulated which is such a shame! Midnight Poison Miss Dior Cherie Addict Tendré poison and many others! Dior needs to keep it real Why fall in love if halfway up they gonna drop you. Its time for a new PILLAR!

Miss Dior is a pretty scent and I enjoy it. I would say though that it is a safe fragrance and this can be a good thing and not a good thing. It is one that you can pretty safely buy as a gift for someone and can't really go wrong, such as, for example, fragrances like Ralph Lauren Romance, Chanel Chance, Marc Jacobs Daisy, etc. Not that it smells like these but you get the idea. A plus is that it is a crowd pleaser and an all rounder - one you can wear to work, out for the day, at night for dinner, etc. I understand the comment below that it smells like a blend of a bit of a lot of fragrances, like the smell of walking into a perfume store, I agree with this. I do really like it, it has a nice softness and freshness to it and is quite feminine.

Call me a basic bitch, but I freaking love this perfume! Yes, I know: every girl and her mom is wearing it... And how can you blame them? It smells rich, heady, dazzling at a distance! Basically, a real perfume! It's got spunk, grit. A good patchouli oriental with a boozy, back of the throat rasp and a touch of smooth vanilla creaminess to let you know you're still in chic French territory (and haven't taken the train straight to India) Strictly a cold weather perfume, btw. You don't want to suffocate people, nor give them "hippy-aunt" flashbacks. I think what I like most about Miss Dior Parfum is it's slightly unsentimental, almost medicinal freshness. This girl's passionate, but she knows how to keep her distance. ;)

Can we have a moment of silence for this masterpiece please? *silence* I was totally content with my current collection until I took a whiff of this. MD Le Parfum is a completely different ball game to the EDT and EDP. It is smoother, richer, undeniably more seductive and feminine but not loudly projecting...oh noo....MD Le Parfum is similar to old money. No need for the bells and whistles because class recognises class in spite of. Pure élégance. The way in which this fragrance stays close to the skin but remains smelling the exact same as the moment of application hours upon hours later can only be explained as sorcery. I will own this one day...and when I do, lets just say, hide your significant others ;)

I adore this fragrance and I hope they don't reformulate any time soon. I liked the original Miss Dior Cherie (MDC) but I didn't love it. This was how I expected Miss Dior Cherie to be. Girly yet still classy with a hint of maturity. MDC was lovely but from my recollection, I didn't like how the notes didn't blend as nicely. I like to think Le Parfum and the EDP to be siblings. Le Parfum is the older sibling who's about 10 years older. They aren't very close to each other but they're family. I find that you don't need to spray on a lot. If you're wearing it on a warm day, it's almost overwhelming so it's best to reserve it for cooler weather and special occasions. On a date, perhaps, if you're feeling coy.

Edit: I posted this for the wrong perfume initially. I just fell in love with this about half an hour ago. The initial spray is bright citrus and white flowers. Then it immediately goes into a powdery rose phase. There's caramel or vanilla mixed into this as well. Next is a spice that I'm not sure I can pinpoint. It's peppery, but not pepper. I want to say cassia, but I could be wrong. It's got a bit of a cinnamon-like smell. It's kinda smoky as well. I don't smell any patchouli at all, thankfully. And the musk grows in intensity with time. When I first sprayed this, barely any musk, and now half an hour later, the musk and rose are battling it out for center stage. I can't wait to get a bottle of my own!

To me, Miss Dior Le Parfum is the queen of all fragrances - after a long journey, I have found the scent that defines me, uplifts me makes me feel alive. But so as not to waste such a precious juice, I like one spritz of Miss Dior Le Parfum spread between pulse points, then use about four spritzes all over with Yardley Jade, and use Jade to top up during day - both scents are chypre-florals and complement each other like magic. I think I have found my perfume nirvana! If this combination does not work with your skin chemistry, try a dab of your favourite EDP and find an EDT in the same fragrance family to layer and top up for that uplift in the day...good luck in your unique fragrance hunt! :)

My sister worked at the Dior counter when she was in dental school. One year for Christmas she gifted me a 40 ML bottle that I’m only now almost through. The idea of using the last of it was heartbreaking to me, so I went on the hunt for a new-old stock bottle, finally finding a pristine unopened 75 ML bottle. I feel so much better now. This is a love. It’s what I want perfume to be always and forever instead of in the unreachable past. It is dense, complex, sophisticated but utterly gorgeous. A heady, dreamy chypre that overwhelms and transports. Sexy and self-possessed, even somewhat witchy. In short, this is precious and special; if I find another bottle, I won’t hesitate to stock it.

I will never forget this. I bought a 30 ml bottle in 2020 when it had just been discontinued. Back then, before I got interested in perfume, I felt that it had everything: an opening of fresh, but sweet, citrusy rose jam, that dried down to the most delicious, slightly earthy combination of vanilla, amber and patchouli. It wasn't gourmand, but still smelled edible, somehow... like a sweet cracker, fresh out of the oven. Gorgeous vanilla. Gorgeous amber. Gorgeous patchouli. Years later, I have developed a taste for "the weirdos" and all I want to wear is Angel, Eden and Rush and perfumes like that - far from elegant like this one - but I'm floored every time I smell it. It's so beautiful.

This is the prettiest amber I've ever smelled. Actually, this is just one of the prettiest perfumes I've ever smelled. It's deep, warm, and smoky, yet very soft and powdery and sweet, almost reminds me of powdered detergent. The patchouli spices it up just enough but never takes over the composition as patchouli can do, and it's sweetened beautifully by the vanilla base. The mandarin gives it just a little something else to round it out, this is is one of Dior's best. I can still feel it on me after two showers. Divine quality and lasting power that I expect from a parfum from the house of Dior...far removed from the 1000 Addict flankers that smell like nothing. Do more of THIS, Dior!

10/10 😍 yeeees baby this is awesome The notes listed are so accurate, it smells exactly like what it’s supposed to be. It’s also gorgeous, rich (pretty heavy but never cloying) and long-lasting. Others have said it already, but it’s really like a ”modern vintage”, if that makes any sense. Yes, I also agree that after a couple of hours (on skin) you’ll mostly smell amber...which in this case is quite pleasant. On clothes however, it is truly eternal but be careful when spraying cause the juice is a bit dark. Since it’s discontinued, I would instead recommend Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal which has a similar vibe to it, but doesn’t smell identical to Miss Dior. Not as good but good enough.

Treasuring my last bottle of this and saving it only for special occasions, I love it that much. A true Dior classic with a rich, rosy character, though I’ve always found it hard to distinguish the individual notes from the overall scent it gives. It is best in winter, wrapping me in warmth on freezing days, like an invisible scarf. I also appreciate Dior’s signature bottle design, though I wish it couldn’t be mistaken for Miss Dior 2012 - the two scents couldn’t be more different. Le Parfum itself has the deep, golden glow of single malt whiskey, encased in beautifully polished glass. Hopefully, someone will still sell it once I'm done with my flacon.

Ok, I've given a review if this before But I tried one in a pharmacy or maybe the dept store and it was in winter/spring and it was this sweaty wood for hours, though the dry down was amazing. I couldn't justify the price if I had to sit through sweat for that long. I did not check the product codes for these. I tried this again in mid summer, from another pharmacy and it was a woody vanillary bomb, I loved it. I checked the product code and it was fresh. I bought one online and it's a bit older but, it tends to skip past the woody notes and go straight to the lovely dry down I love. I want the wood, but good to know yeah??

This is the perfume that invented perfume. It embodies feminity and throws caution to the wind if compared to "girliness". She's ALL woman and she's beautiful. All perfumes should look up to her as a mentor. This perfume is for any and every woman 21+. If this isn't in your collection, baby pull out that debit card and immediately head to Sephora or Ulta. Never purchase this from a website, it gets duped all the time and it's fake predaseccor is hideous. Lastly, it's sophistication will render you jaw dropped. Notes-schmopes, this baby was made by God... Nobody cares what's in it honey, put it on!

To me this is the most "grown-up" of the Miss Diors out in the present marketplace. It is elegant and powdery and really, really beautiful. It has a little bit of a throw-back to the original Miss Dior DNA without letting it hit you in the face, although for that reason a lot of the younger crowd might be turned off by it. It's not too sweet at all but it fits right in with my need to wear at least some sort of vanilla these days. It's warm and cuddly and elegant in my book! I really hope this one doesn't get discontinued, because I know it's not the biggest seller, but it IS so, so good.

Alright, I have to add another review for this masterpiece. This is my fall/winter signature, everyone I've ever dated knows me for this scent. It's warm amber, patchouli, and deep vanilla that wraps you up in an embrace and stays with you all night long. The patchouli took a little getting used to, but after trying it out a few times I was hooked. It's mature, sweet, sophisticated, sexy, and everything I could want in a signature. It is my number one most - complimented fragrance, for men and women. This scent just smells like me now, and I will always have a bottle in my collection.

This is one of my signature scents. I also have the Miss Dior EDT 2012 version. Both of these smells like Coco Mademoiselle Intense. I was so sad when I heard Miss Dior EDT (2012) and Le Parfum was being discontinued. It was reformulated. I'm not fond of the reformulation. I have been using Le Parfum and Miss Dior EDT 2012 sparingly because its my favorite perfumes. I am happy that Coco Mademoiselle Intense came out because it smells similar. Le Parfum is very classy, elegant, sophisticated and feminine. I wear it all year round for all occasions. The longevity and Sillage are great.

Happy happy perfume! Uplifting and cheerful, bright and carefree! This is Miss Dior Le Parfum. The heart and soul is amber, at first it is amber suffused with orange peel--what could be happier than fresh orange? Then the amber is complimented by a demure rose, and the amber becomes a bit spicier, with a hint of grit-from the patchouli perhaps?- as it delves into the heart. The vanilla comes around on the bottom, a raw smelling vanilla at that, and the patchouli note intensifies. But it's amber amber all the way. Very well done amber, nice sillage and lasting power too.

This perfume...one of my first loves. When I bought my miss dior edt last year, I thought I was getting this, but I was wrong. I still love it, especially at night, but it was not what I had expected. Now, my bottle of Le parfum is on its way, and I couldn't be more excited. It's warm, seductive, sexy, but also fresh (until the dry-down). EDP had a harsh note in it that kicked my nose, but Le parfum does not have that at all. It embraces you and pulls you in, and you go willingly. I can't wait for this lovely lady to join my fragrance family. Soon, miss dior. Soon.

It is an intense version. Mandarin as a top note make it fresh and citrusy. Roses instantly coming across the scent. I can sense a lot of roses to make it very flowery. In dry down i can smell a lot of amber and patchouli. Amber and patchouli are so rich to make it wet powdery and bit earthy. Yes, vanilla note is still there but in minimal drops. This perfume is absolutely potent, warm, rich, sensual, sexy and mature. Comparing to Miss Dior EDP, this perfume is richer, deeper and stronger compositions. Longevity and sillage are amazing. it last 10 hours on my skin.

I treated myself to a bottle of this because I love the smell. Sure, it's not groundbreaking or unique, but it is utterly intoxicating, rich, sweet, elegant and classy. The strength of this is almost like an elixir, it's strong, heavy and seductive. Le Parfum is most certainly an evening scent, one which should be worn to a romantic candle lit dinner for two, in a very expensive restaurant. Team this perfume with a little black dress, high heels and some classy jewellery and this image should sum up the experience you get with this lovely fragrance.

Smells wealthy,and sublime!Not for teenies,this is for women with high,upscale taste! New update for fall 2015! So the temperatures have dropped like the leaves! And I pulled her back out!!! I had some last minute errands to take care of and a group of coffee-break employees stopped me dead in a stairwell,the compliments were overwelming! Good to have her back in my life!
