Patchouli Elixir Precieux

Holy mother of everything earthy, this may be THE elixir of elixirs! I tested it in a shop and haven't tried mixing or layering this as suggested, but I can confirm that it is extremely potent on its own. I tried just a tiny drop and it really is as dark and intense as the colour suggests. Sometimes, a patchouli smells more like a slightly spicy musk with sweetish undertones, specially when used as a base in designer frags. That isn't the case with this one. It’s almost soil-like in its earthiness and I instantly felt like walking among stacks of freshly cut wood in a wet field. Now patchouli has many nuances and I cannot say if it'll perform more like the usual patch suspects if layered, but I hope it keeps the groundedness I feel when smelling it in its purest form. It's absolutely gorgeous and strongly recommendable as is, but I look forward to reading about any layering experienes.

This oil smells amazing. It is actually my favorite from the collection. But - when compared to other Elixirs, the projection is not that great. I even reapplied it to my wrist 3 times at the boutique, but could smell the scent maybe 2-3 hours. Once again, why $450?

Soft and mild patchouli. It has good projecting, despite being an oil-based perfume. The oil itself is beautiful and good for layering. The one thing that it hard to justify it the price tag of $450 for just 3ml. Preciuos patchouil, indded.

Bought it and sadly it was not a good projecting fragrance oil.I wear it only when I need to go to drs or knowing I’ll be around people who don’t like perfume.Too weak.It’s shame on me for paying $450 on it.

This is, despite the ludicrous pricing, a very elegant and inoffensive patchouli bolstered with some musk and perhaps a touch of benzoin. The ingredients are high quality, no doubt - but high quality aromachemicals need some very high quality naturals to be believable. I bought it and flipped it for a better price. You'd be better off buying a well-aged patchouli distilled in iron - perhaps something around 5 years old or older. A drop or two of a good one will smell richer, smoother, darker and muskier compared to this elixir - and would last longer too.

Same thing I said about patchouli Paris but times ten for this. Humorously ridiculous product

I want. But 450$ for 5ml is delusional and criminal.
