Poison Girl

Hmm, Poison Girl. Dividing opinions, just like mama Poison back in 85. Miss Poison however refuses to fill the shoes left by her legacy. Instead she uses her volume, deep in her DNA, to speak loudly like her rebel and modern friends. She mostly hangs out with La Petite Robe Noire, because she feels they share a lot in common; they both hail from families with a long history. They both share family members that were big and bad back in the day. They have that DNA in their blood, but they are children of their times, and as such they have different tastes. Poison Girl inherited from her mother the controversy, as such she is bound to divide opinions. She has character and as such she ain't gonna please everybody. She cares not. But growing up she was closer to aunt Hypnotic. She loved to hang out with her, listening to her stories about her lovers, her travels to faraway lands. She enjoyed spending time in that secret room where aunt Hypnotic prepared her secret drug; Cyanide. You see, she was a spy for the Secret Intelligence and her task was to create the most lethal version of the famous almond scented poison. And she succeeded as no one saw that the cloud of almond vanilla that wafted from her apartment was her lethal weapon towards her enemies. As a close family, even though mama Poison spent her youth traveling the globe, these 3 women complement each other. For her 31st birthday, Poison Girl inherits her legacy, and as such you can admire it in her eyes; she has the loud voice of mama, with bitter orange and a slice of funky immortelle instead of plum, and the seducing power of her aunt, with an almond/tonka core, ready to take on where her mentors left. If Poison permeated the 80's with its narcotic winey tuberose wrapped in incense, and Hypnotic Poison seduced the 90's with wafts of almond patisserie and vanilla smoke, this new kid takes the best of both and shouts it from the rooftops. She's got style, her style, but she ain't got the manners. Yet. But then again, if you belong to the Poison family, manners aren't exactly your most known feature. You're known for speaking loud and clear, and letting everyone know how it's gonna be. Take it or leave it. And Poison Girl says it loud and clear; she's got the best of both, and her own unique touch. And this is how it's gonna be; bitter orange, cherry, almond, immortelle, vanilla, tonka, rose, almond, bitter orange, almond, vanilla. Poison volume, Hypnotic Poison deliciousness, 21st century voice. Strong sillage/10-12 hour longevity. Update May 30th: The more I wear Poison Girl, which is a lot, the more I see the hidden appeal. It is not a sweet fruitchouli like so many. There's a restrained beauty, maybe the bitterness? It is far more than the sum of its parts, there's something unique and dare I say delicious? The more I wear it the more I feel it is indeed a Poison member. Completely different and at the same time familiar. I bought a backup today, 100 ml before the reformulation that is about to come soon, and I'm already thinking of getting a 3rd bottle. Very unisex, and again, nothing at all like Black Opium. A kind of less sweet LPRN. Really, do give a try even if gourmands don't appeal to you. It's not even really a gourmand after all.

Have you ever met someone and immediately disliked them for some silly reason? Then years later, looked back and thought, 'I really should have been nicer and given him/her a chance?" For me, that's Poison Girl. Thankfully, she's forgiving. When this first came out I rolled my eyes so hard I nearly gave myself an aneurysm. "Poison Girl?" Really, GIRL?? I thought it was a ridiculous name paired with an appallingly stupid ad campaign. It was like watching the former cool chick turned soccer mom desperately try to be edgy and failing in the most embarrassing way. It was ultimate cringe, and I couldn't believe Dior let those ads free in the wild. For that, I never gave this perfume a chance. But fast forward 100 years, I'm revisiting fragrances I never considered seriously in the past. Poison Girl is on the list, and I am enjoying it a great deal. Poison Girl is sweet, and I mean SWEET. For gourmand fanatics used to snorting this sort of liquid sugar on the daily, this fragrance may not be anything otherworldly. But for someone who rarely strays from the classics and for whom J'Adore Intense is considered daring, the experience is a glorious shock to the system. It opens with an almost biting bitter orange. It's tart and not shy about it. That sharp citrus yields to a syrupy heart of roses. But a demure rose from mother's garden this isn't. It's a dense and candied floral that knows exactly what it's doing. Dare I say playful? God, just saying that gives me heartburn, but bear with me. The dry down melts into a decadent base of dark vanilla, toasted almond, and tonka bean. A bit of sandalwood and balsam hang out in the background. It's heavy, rich, and clings to the skin beautifully. It has the presence of a proper powerhouse and isn't quiet about it. Poison Girl is as delicate and refined as nude cartwheels in the town square, but the "in your face" attitude is charming and magnetic. It projects far better than most new fragrances and leaves a heavy, sweet trail that turns heads. I may have judged her too quickly based on her name, but Poison Girl has earned her place on my vanity. She's sweet, yes, but she still BITES.

Lots of dislikes and not a lot of reviews which just means to me that people haven't really given it a chance. Dior is a mainstream fashion/fragrance house and they put out fashionable scents that will (a) appeal to a lot of people and (b) therefore make them a lot of money. If you want to smell "niche" then buy niche, simple as that. That being said, I don't think everybody will *love* this. I personally do for that creamy, slightly salty vanilla dry-down but the bittersweet orange top notes might be hit and miss with some. I see a lot of people comparing this to HP. Whilst this isn't a flanker of HP, the dry-down really does remind of HP (the newer version) and it has this salty feel to it, whilst HP gets quite spicy on me. I've been frantically searching for something similar to HP to wear in the Summer and although this is quite heavy on the vanilla, it's the closest I can get so I'll take it. I also see alot of people comparing this to black opium - perhaps confusing the coffee and tonka. On me, the vanilla in black opium smells like burnt plastic and Poison Girl is much creamier and likeable - I can tell the difference between the two for sure. I don't find it cloying at all on me personally, but it's all about body chemistry with this one. It is very sweet and I can deal with that, if you can't then I would steer clear. If you're a gourmand lover, I think you'll like this though. It's a high quality scent from Dior, has good longevity and sillage - not too much but not too little either. On another note, I've seen a lot of people say this smells "generic" and "like a cheap celebrity fragrance" and that they've "smelled it before". If that's the case then be my guest and mention which scent it reminds you of because if I can save a few £ then that would be awesome. I don't like the marketing campaign either but then I don't really like any perfume marketing campaign.

This one took me quite a while to come around on. I was unfairly expecting it to be better than or, just as good as some of the other modern Diors. Now, I look on it, sort of, as part of the Poison family. This is the millennial. As I see it, this is how it goes for the Poisons - Poison Original: The original goddess, the one who gave birth to the others. She blesses human kind with her intoxicating kiss and breath, keeping you alive by giving herself to you. Without her, you would surely perish. Hypnotic Poison: The vamp goddess, you'd probably meet her in a fancy cocktail bar. She'd bring chocolates, offer you one and you'd wake up next to her. You're both exhausted from your 'rendez-vous', she leaves and you feel her all over you. You need her, but she didn't leave her number. You trawl all of the bars for her, occasionally meeting her but those experiences are few and far between. Tendre Poison: The Jungle goddess, you'll find her in a greenhouse with her plants. Like Poison Ivy, and the original Poison, she can intoxicate you with her breath and kiss. She'll latch on, and you won't complain. This one wants you to be her willing slave, and you'll have no choice but to give yourself over to her. Pure Poison: The charming and deceptive goddess, you'll meet her at a wedding or in the street on a cool evening. She'll be sweet, lovely and coy. The poison comes through your inability to detect the poison in her. You'll be unable to sleep and unable to think of anyone but her. She has you in her clean, beautiful hands. Midnight Poison: The Goddess who you met at a ball, you drank her magic potion and now reside in her candy house Poison Girl: She's the goddess at the club. She probably has MDMA or something.

This is the 2nd perfume I bought after I started my perfume collection. I currently have 15 fragrances in my collection and this still is my favourite one so far. This perfume has gotten me the most compliments, people can smell me from feets away, I've had random people passingby ask me "Someone smells really good, is that you?" Friends tell me that I smell like ice-cream/cake/some delicious dessert. This quickly became my winter signature scent. Besides being a huge compliment getter, I personally love how long it lasts. For example, I wore this yesterday noon, it has been 20+ hours and I can still smell it on the jacket I wore yesterday (I didn't even spray it on the jacket itself) Perfumery isn't very common where I live (we don't even have sephora/ulta/macys), which is why I watch and read a lot of reviews because I mostly have to make blind purchases since I can't get my hands on samples and testers easily here. Anyway, my reason for mentioning this is that I was surprised by the underwhelming feedback on this perfume. I bought this without looking up many reviews (I, along with a friend, had just walked into a shop and they surprisingly had testers, I smelled it and immediately fell in love) It is literally one of the most beautiful perfumes I own, the scent bubble it create is legit soothing to my nose, smelling this makes me happy. This is hands down the best fragrance you can purchase as a beginner, or if you just want one sweet gourmand scent in your life. 10/10.

This perfume starts off lovely, a gorgeous fruity yet soft, feminine and fun. It opens with sweet citrus and fresh rosy notes. After an hour it begins to smell a little more complex- still sweet and juicy but a little warmer. Once it has properly dried down it changes again and smells like a soft sweet woody vanilla- nothing overpowering or sickening but very yummy. It doesn't last as long as I would want but maybe I just become scent blind after a while. I've only had this perfume for a few days and I already got complimented on it by a guy at my work. My boyfriend also adores it, he has very strong opinions around perfume but he is obsessed with it and says it smells like a "juicy rose" It is a very feminine and youthful perfume but I do think anyone could wear it with the right attitude. In my opinion it is a very complex scent and is definitely over hated. I've warn in on a hot day and on a cold day and I will say it is much more delicious on a cold crisp day but I do think it could be warn as a summer fragrance because of the fruity notes- just sprayed very lightly. I also think its both a day and night perfume, its definitely more of a daytime more perfume than Dior hp but it is a little sexy date night smelling, however like I said earlier I think this perfume could work for any time with the right attitude.

I really don't know why I waited so long to get this. It's been 2-3 years since I kept wondering whether or not to purchase this. If you're asking yourself the same thing, let me spare you the wait and tell you to absolutely, a 100%, go get yourself a bottle! This is a really cozy and delectable scent. It is intoxicating in the best way possible: it's not cloying or overwhelming, but it is so rich, deep and with great projection, that it's almost impossible not to smell yourself throughout the day. I personally get a sweet, powdery yet smooth almond & praline/caramel scent. It is simply divine! This fragrance is indeed youthful, but don't think Pink Sugar or AG Sweet Like Candy. It's more complex and darker, being sexy and mysterious. With this on, you're edible in every way. I believe this perfume to be more suitable for colder weather, as I can see it being cloying in those extremely hot summer days. Otherwise, I think it's very versatile and even wore it at the office and people have complimented the scent. Projection: 8.5/10 - While not being beast mode, this does have great projection Longevity: 10/10 - Lasts at least a whole day Sillage: (still testing) Scent: 12/10 - Got the 100ml just so that I can bathe in it c:

A youthful take on Dior's Hypnotic Poison. Playful, yet elegant. After spraying it the first note you might notice is bitter orange. In a few minutes vanilla will start accompanying the citrus notes. After giving it a few hours, it turns into almost pure sweet, feminine vanilla. As for the "Play-dough" note - it is more noticeable than in Hypnotic Poison, but it doesnt bother me very much personally. The price is quite reasonable considering this is a designer fragrance. It performs way better than Hypnotic Poison, lasting much longer and being more intense than it. I think that even though a lot of people say only teenage girls can wear this, a lot of women over 20 can wear this because of it's elegant vanilla base note. Overall, I think it is a very sweet and a little less mature fragrance comparing to Hypnotic Poison, but I could definitely see someone 20+ wearing it, contrary to what other reviews say. It smells a bit like candied oranges, then vanilla and tonka beans. The price is quite alright. It performs well and lasts quite long. I think this fragrance is worth getting.

Poison Girl edp is happy, fun, dreamy, divinely sweet, I think it is the most beautiful perfume that Dior has made in many years. This vanilla accompanied by almonds and tonka becomes very addictive, more addictive than its older brother Addict, because I have noticed that when I use it, for several days I just want to smell Poison on my skin. I like the sensation of oranges at the top, which give that bright life to the perfume, not everything is a candy store in this bottle because the rose and tolu balm, although they do not give seriousness, give it that elegant wisp that rounds out the spectacular perfume. This combination is so good that all ages are delighted with this perfume. When I use it I feel like the eternal child that is always inside me. I recommend that you buy the first batches if you can, they are bottles where the formula is stronger, although if you settle for a Poison Girl that is a little softer than the first batches you will also enjoy it

Poision Girl by Dior is one of the most beautiful perfumes for wintertime. Despite the rather juvenile name, the fragrance itself is the epitome of sophistication, class, and femininity. It smells like marzipan, orange blossoms, and vanilla. A beautiful winter scent that reminds me of cashmere and fresh snow, of ballerinas twirling like snowflakes, of the nutcracker suite by Tchaikovsky, of bakeries with almond croissants, with long lines and warm lighting, of glittery wrapping papers, and twinkling lights, of New York City covered in snow. Elegant, expensive smelling, and absolutely lovely. I imagine a beautiful woman, impeccably dressed in a winter coat and boots, with sparkling earrings and red lips, and glossy shopping bags on her arm, rushing through the streets as her scarf twirls in the wind, carrying the scent of frosted almond and orange, of vanilla and rose, of all the beauty and magic of the season.

I sprayed one spray on my wrist yesterday afternoon, and it's still very clear like 15 hours later ... wow. I don't even have to put my nose too close to smell it, it still projects a little. I sprayed hypnotic poison edt, which I prefer scent wise, on other wrist and nothing, zero smell. that's really impressive. the fragrance itself, I can't decide somehow ... it's super sweet but but there's also something a little sour and tart, but it doesn't lighten the smell, it thickens it even more and maybe that's what putting me off a little bit. There are days when i don't mind, but sometimes it's too sweet and syrupy sticky. But I can see myself loving in right mood and weather. I did wear it daily for some time about a year and half ago and I did enjoy it a lot ... Definitely don't overspray, you'll make people sick

This is my 2nd favorite from Dior with Addict EDP as no 1. I am 40+ and I love this! Many people have described this perfume very well...youthful, creamy, sweet vanilla gourmand, best on winter. When I am craving this perfume on summer, to make it not too cloying, I would use 1 or 2 small sprays. It is soo delicious and comforting. I'm sensitive to migraines but Poison girl never trigger my migraines, because even though it is sweet and strong but it is also very smooth. I have a few bottles of this (I always have backups because Dior is famous on discontinuing my favorite perfumes), including 2016 and after 2020 bottle. I thought the 2016 was stronger and deeper, but after I let the after 2020 bottle sit in my dark closet for years, now they both smell the same. Dior perfumes age like a wine.

This is one of the best in Dior Poison range to me, It isn’t all and all sharp florals like the Original poison. It is still strong but has a warm and fluffy aspect in addition to the florals which makes it more wearable. It has a fruity floral opening and the drydown is more creamy floral .It is sweet but not a thick and sticky sweetness more like cramy cake frosting sweetness. It is very modern but little bit mature leaning fragrance to my nose and will be great for you if you are in your late 20s or early 30s. Performance is nuclear in my opinion which is very consistent with the whole Poison line. You will definitely like it if you are into floral gourmands. Sometimes florals mixed with gourmands can be headache inducing for some people, so will suggest everyone to sample it before buying.

This one has attitude, but definitely not in the loud, obnoxious way. It’s more like a ”you cannot get hold of me”-attitude. When I put my nose close to my skin, she doesn’t really agree with me. But when I get a whiff of the cloud she’s surrounding me with, I’m in love! Beautiful, smooth, almost buttery vanilla with a slight, bitter tanginess from the citruses. Divine! I wish I could dig my nose into my arm but, again, that’s not her thing. There is also something nostalgic about it. Not in the sense that I have owned or smelled it before, but rather reminiscent of something I have experienced. For a brief moment, it unlocked a memory of my Bratz dolls from the early 2000s, which made me smile. Will definitely cherish this one and buy a bigger bottle when mine runs out!

Ok so I got this a couple months ago and I had spent about 2-3 years (or more) trying to decide if I wanted it or not due to figuring it would smell generic or like something I’ve smelled several times before and well yes, it’s something I smelled several times before. It isn’t unique and tbh I was expecting a little more of something I can’t quite point out in this one... Maybe a little more rose or some smoke idk but a las it isn’t bad - it’s a “pretty” scent but it is something I’d wear more at home or maybe play with dosage and wear it out OCCASIONALLY I guess. This is something that would appeal more to younger girls in their late teens and 20’s. But if you can pull it off and you like pretty rosey sweet scents, this is for you.

Top compliment getter for me. Beautiful fragrance - signature scent worthy, for my taste, because it's everything a woman needs in a perfume. 🌸 1. It's sweet, in a mature, deep and seductive way (don't let the name fool you). 2. People will smell you... no longevity or silage problems here 🔥 3. Good for layering with "sexy" perfumes to add a more sweet and feminine touch. I don't understand the reviews claiming it's soft? I'm an over sprayer and have absolutely no issues with performance, it's worth every penny. I feel well put together and beautiful with this on. EDIT: My new bottle has arrived, compared it to my old one and the juice is much lighter colour, this is one of those perfumes that gets better once matured.

I have had and tried a LOT of perfume and this is my #1 all time favorite. It is GORGEOUS. Deep, gourmand but also floral, very sweet but VERY seductive, dark, sexy, WOMAN in her mid 20s era. Honestly, Jeremy Fragrance convinced me to blind buy this years ago and he was RIGHT lol. I have 3 backups (see below). ***NOTE*** Dior has been quietly REFORMULATING beauty products to "clean" formulas, then restocking. I can't say for sure but I suspect they are doing with their frags too? This was rumored discontinued, disappeared even from Dior's site but now they carry it again? Gray market might be more likely to have the OG. Beware if the reviews start to shift significantly, I suppose.

The notes are native to my country syria, particularly Damascus, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Smelling it is like eating a levantine piece of sweet delicacy .. Damascus and more generally the levant is literally in the middle of the map, bridging east and west and this scent does exactly that with the grounded almond nuttyness and the ethereal bitter sourness of the bitter orange bridged and brought together and emphasized by the delicate sweetness of the rose .. I love this one. If I was to create a scent that remind me of Damascus I would use these notes but also other notes like arak. (An alcoholic beverage from fermented anise seed and white grapes)

Love love love love. Somewhat personal to me, as my mom wore the OG poison edt growing up. However, she kept it in her makeup bag, so that poison DNA would mix with the scent of her creamy MAC vanilla lipsticks, settting powder, and eye-pencil shavings. That combination always smelled so good, so much so that I’d go and open it up just to sniff it, and poison girl smells extremely similar to that very formative olfactory memory . Needless to say, this smells very cosmetic to me, which I absolutely love... a very femme perfume, my current signature scent until it heats up too much and the intensity of this becomes a little too much.

this is a very young and sweet fragrance, a lighter gourmand, not necessarily fresh but not as thick and abundant as hypnotic. smells like candied orange mousse and whipped cream, the dry-down is warm vanilla and crushed almonds. i have always been so in love with the poison line, and i should admit that poison girl is the least mature, most people pleasing of the family. its a beautiful scent, not as complex or dark as her sisters, but just as good. a blind buy if i've ever known one, and probably my most complimented fragrance. its flirtatious, vivacious, fun and ever-so-slightly edgy. simply love it.

what a delicate scent, i've fallen in love with it, i fear. as for me, the most striking feature of 'poison girl' is the powdery tones that linger on my skin until they dissolve into something gently sweet and undeniably captivating. i've been told the whole space gets suffused with this fragrance as soon as i settle in a room, so it says a lot about its sillage and the strength of it. longevity, however, is borderline everlasting, and that is precisely why i've become very fond of this fragrance. highly recommend to those who value powdery scents. <3

Warm, cozy and sweet perfume. I smell the bitter orange a lot in the beginning but after 1-2 hours I mosly smell vanilla, almonds and honey. I know it does not have honey as a note but I think the vanilla and balsamicy notes together make it smell like honey for me. I really do love this scent for colder weather. I wish it projected more though, the projection is quite soft for this one, so it suits a date night at home better than going out. It's not strong enough for others to smell it that much (unfortunately).

Yes, I've smelt something similar a thousand times, no, I don't normally like vanilla scents, and no, I'm not a girl, but this stunned me when I first smelt it. A friend's mother was getting ready to leave the house and suddenly this stunning smell hit me. It reminded me of pastries baking in the oven and bittersweet almond. It was the first time that I felt intoxicated by what I recognised as a vanilla scent. Yet it's more almond than vanilla to me. It finally came in the mail today, I love love love it!

I've been using Poison Girl on and off for years, and no matter how many new perfumes I try, I always come back to it. There's something incredibly addictive about this fragrance that keeps me craving it. The warm vanilla and sweet notes make me feel cozy, comfortable, and confident every time I wear it. It's one of those scents that wraps around you like a soft blanket without feeling too heavy. This will always have a special place in my collection because it's a fragrance I never get tired of.

absolutely gorgeous. don't let the leaning childish name fool you, this scent is mature and chic as any dior perfume should be. at first you get an almost fruity rose smell laying on top, but quickly it leans into its powdery vanilla side layered with nutty almond undertones. i love this scent because while complex, you don't need to get up close to experience all of its layers. projects well and quite versatile, but could get stuffy in the summertime. definitely a new favourite! <3

i love it, it's such a comforting joyfull smell for me, it's really citrusy and fruity at first, i don't feel the rose smell that much on my skin, i mostly get the almond and sandalwood with a tiny bit of vanilla after a while. Now, i know a lot of people would classify it as a winter/night out perfume but i think it gives me a sunny day/beach vibe cause it does smell a little bit like an expensive tanning lotion or sunscreen (on my skin at least) and i kinda love it lol

EDIT: Just smelled the 2022 reformulation and it's not the same anymore :( I'm not sure I recommend it now. Review of the older formulation: Best designer perfume of all time! Flormand. Vanilla, rose, tonka, almond. Well blended. Smooth, intoxicating, SEXY. Not too youthful, mature or dated. Lasts long esp once it's darkened. My signature, #1 for years even amidst all the new designer releases.

I love it! It's one of those beautiful smelling perfume that everyone just agrees that it smells good! It's sweet but not too sweet, still floral yet not too flowery. It's pretty, it's sexy, i think this is a very assertive scent-it stands on it's own-. It's a little overwhelming on my nose, a little goes a long way. However, it smells a little familiar with some other perfumes on the market

I love this fragrance!! It is girly yet spicy and mysterious. I love the citrus and the vanilla in it, it is very versatile. It lasts all day long and the notes doesn’t fade. A lot of people say that other fragrances in the poison collection are way better but I never smelled other poisons since I got this one as a present. Anywayyyy, my second favorite perfume in my little collection <3!

This is so beautiful! I waited a while to buy it, so now I am kicking myself for not getting it sooner! It's sweet. It's floral. It's got sweet, not crisp, citrus in the background and it dries down to a perfect tonka almond vanilla delicacy. I am swooning over here! I am also starting to realize that orange blossom and vanilla are made for each other when done right. Heaven in a bottle!

Every winter I return to you with open arms, loving you more each time 🍎🩷. What a wondrous sweetness of tonka bean, almond, and bitter orange. I love you. Please, Dior, release a new Poison again, sweet and playful, sweet and elegant... Please, stop releasing perfumes that cost thousands of euros a bottle for the elite and release a perfume for the common people to enjoy for once!

This is my favourite iteration of Poison. Reminds me of the song of the same name by HIM lol. Super duper sweet & girly girl but edgy enough for my baby-goth self. Definitely too juvenile for me nowadays but I'll always have a soft spot for Poison Girl. Remember those black and pink, checker-patterned fingerless gloves you used to get from Claire's? That's what this smells like.

This perfume had me in a chokehold during my freshman year of college, and I still wear it fairly often. I never really liked any of the Dior poison perfumes since they smell way too old-lady ish for my liking. This smells youthful, sexy, and sweet with strong vanilla and tonka bean notes and that luxury quality that Dior is known for. This is definitely a compliment puller.

my lovely lovely signature. it's almond pastries and orange creamsicles. it's being girly as an act of rebellion and giant gold adorned vanities and vanilla lip gloss. honestly, it's better suited for the winter and I tend to deviate towards other scents on hotter days, but it's not unwearable in the summer. it's a bit youthful, and a bit playful, but i love it very much.

I adore the whole poison line, especially pure poison because it’s my first love. This is so yummy, orange blossom with almond, and the dry down is more warm vanilla. To be honest, it smells on me like I'm lathering myself with delicious vanilla almond body butter. It’s not perfumey or cologne. so beautiful, and elegant, not girly at all. Don’t let the name fool you.

This is one of the best smelling perfumes I’ve ever smelt. This is so sexy and playful. It’s very sweet and strong, I can already feel that it’s a big compliment magnet. Hypnotic poison smells like play doh to me and this is definitely not like that. The vanilla and almond make it sweet and the orange and lemon balance it out so it doesn’t make you nauseous.

I get sick of reading comments that allude to peoples ages in relation to perfume. I’m older, have grandkids and as far as this being only for young people I say bollox. Perfume is a personal choice and it’s about what you like, what smells good for you - nobody else. Having said that this is a lovely fragrance. I have the EDP and EDT. Both are gorgeous.

I don’t get much of the rose notes but that’s absolutely not a bad thing as I don’t love rose. I get mostly vanilla and almond. I do get the citrus when first sprayed but that doesn’t last overly long. This perfume lasts forever on me too, I can spray at 7am before I leave for work and can still smell it on me when I’m on my way home at 5.

all these videos say that if u have scorpio placements u should own this fragrance, i have a scorpio sun and whenever I smell this fragrance I really feel like myself (sounds weird but it's true). such an intoxicating sweet powdery sultry fragrance.. I don't really care for the opening, it's the dry-down that does it for me!!

This one is very different from all the other Poisons of the group - maybe the most wearable for younger women. Mandarin blends well with almond, tonka bean and vanilla creating a warm and intoxicating fragrance that you can't stop smelling from you wrists! Lasts long as well and dries out as a spicy vanilla - very flirty!

it's so good, not your standard vanilla. The almond in it makes it such a distinct scent which also makes it belong in the hypnotic poison line. Smells like a woman that takes good care of herself, a bit powdery but very sweet, but somehow not annoyingly sweet. Doesn't smell cheap and love the floral notes in it

vanilla rose powdery clean maybe almonds? Kinda light it a little sweet like barely sweet honestly its kind’s giving girl that got money and knows she smells good but u can only smell her if you were close ( like its not gonna blow your pants off but you will look back kinda perfume) honestly 8/10

This is a dream. Described as a generic pink girly scent online , I have to disagree. It has sophisticated depth and spice to it and morphs into a beautiful powdery almond and vanilla with a resinous dimension. Lovely in winter but wearable year round because of the citrus. Love it.

This feels so generic ompared to other poisons... When i recently smelled this in the store it was a big disappointment because it smelled like straight up fresh orange with pretty dry down but no longevity on my skin. I will always choose hypnotic poison over this one sorry💁♀️

I love HIM and i also love this. Its a floral fragrance with powdery vanilla. Its doesnt shout your face like hp, they smell so different. I get the lemon, orange blossom with some rose and vanilla. in my opinion it is not uncharacteristic not everyone would like it. 10/10

the perfume that changed my mind about rose. this is so lovely and feminine and sexy at the same time. others are saying it skews younger, but i think any woman could pull this off. i like wearing this as a daily scent and hypnotic poison for special occasions

Gosh i dont even know where to start. To me this is not at all generic, like some might say, and I ve actually never smelled anything like it before. This is the epiphany of an electric, sweet yet dangerous woman, regardless of the somewhat juvenile name.

when i was 17, i had this. the moment i smelled poison girl edp was the love at first sight. like it was created for me. it will always be special for me.i will buy this again or i will try the flankers. definitely for winter. longevity is really good

My signature fragrance since purchasing this two years ago, it smells very sexy and sophisticated but not as overcast as the other Dior poison perfumes, so if you are looking for something lighter sweeter but still seductive this is a must have!

I've had every version of poison, girl flankers included, and I'm so glad my bottle doesn't have those ugly black stripes on the bottom edges. I'm so grateful to have this in my collection now as it's always been one of my favorites
