So... Considering some reviews under me, there's some truth to this being a lot of things while maybe NOT being truly vanillic, though I disagree somewhat.... If Babycat can be called a "vanilla"fragrance, so can this... If Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille is a vanilla fragrance, this DEFINITELY is (I feel that one is even less so that this Dior)... Spiritueuse it is not... There are more TRUE vanillas to be sure but I think it's totally subjective... Case in point: Babycat.... I had smelled Vanilla Diorama and Babycat around the same time and decided I wouldn't buy both as they are too much in the same wheelhouse (and I need another perfume like I need a hole in my skull) so I bought decants of both and gave them MULTIPLE full wearings and... To be honest, Babycat was originally my pick.. (and it still has a better opening!)... but after about three wears of each one it became clear that the DRYDOWN was a huge let-down with the YSL... that vanilla is pretty awful at the end.... It smells worse than a Yankee candle cheap vanilla... Up top it's heaven and the suede/leather is phenomenal... But the Dior actually gets better and better and... Even though the vanilla is the Viola in this orchestra, it still smells WAY better than the vanilla drydown in Babycat... And the cardamom... The resins... The whole experience down to the bitter (and sweet!) end is SO MUCH better in Vanilla Diorama... To be very honest I think it is even better than Fève Delicieuse (that is simply too much sugar).... And not that I care THAT much but the performance on this is excellent as well... So... If you're hoping for a pure vanilla experience (which is understandable given the name!) I think you could be underwhelmed and possibly even disappointed but... As a vanillic fragrance with spices and resins etc I really think it's gorgeous... Give it a try but DON'T blind buy (it's being discontinued and prices are already starting to soar)... Hope you enjoy it as much as I do... It's a 4.5/5 for me.

Such a unique and well blended Vanilla Fragrance, can't say I've smelt any Vanilla fragrance nearly as good as this or similar at all in its scent profile, this stuff is seriously addicting, this at its core (on my skin at least) is a Vanilla-Cacao-Rum fragrance that is both sweet, refined, addicting, and Inviting. It opens up with quite a sweet opening of nice citruses and a spiced tang to it in the backbone, but within minutes the true DNA of the scent starts to come out, and the sensual Rum-Vanilla-Cacao trio comes into play, it's quite hard to describe the scent profile in general since it's so unique in its own right, the Rum isn't too strong but the booziness adds a welcoming and sophisticated aura, the Cacao doesn't smell edible like chocolate but it's sweet and gourmand enough to smell very inviting, and the Vanilla its sweet but also pretty laid back, it almost smells lightly bitter when combined with the other 3 notes. I also got a compliment from a lady not even an hour after first wearing this fragrance, and as seems to be the case with reviews I've seen, women seem to like this scent profile more, but I think everyone could enjoy this scent, its sexy, sophisticated, and welcoming. On my skin I get medium-slightly strong projection and it lasts upwards of 8 hours on my skin, good for winter and spring, but it's honestly so good I might wear it even in summer if I'm indoors. Final Verdict is a definitive 9.0/10 for me, such a beautiful fragrance that excels for mass appeal and from an artistic perspective too

I absolutely adore this fragrance, and reading other's reviews makes me think it's dependent on having good compatibility with your skin chemistry. Also, I think that the opening can be off putting: the bitter lemon and pink pepper come off a little harsh for me within the first 20-30 minutes before the magic starts to happen. After that, I don't get any coca-cola smell at all, or really much spice. What I do get is a deep, gorgeous boozy vanilla, with just a touch of sweetness around the edges from the citruses and patchouli. It is incredibly well blended: I have a hard time picking out individual notes. If you're looking for a sweet, creamy vanilla cupcake (admittedly, the name can set some misleading expectations), this isn't for you. What this is is refined, mature, and elegant, but also cozy and comfortable. It is incredibly versatile as well: for daily wear it definitely suits the cold weather best, but the citruses keep it light enough to wear quite nicely for a summer date night as well. I'd say it definitely leans masculine as well. Projects for about 7-8 hours for me, skin scent for another 3-4 before only the vanilla base is left behind. This fragrance is a masterpiece in my eyes, but I can also see that it's not for everyone. Overall: 10/10, But absolutely NOT blind buy safe. Definitely need to spray it on skin and wear it for a day before dropping the cash on it.

This is has to be one of my favorite vanilla fragrances by far right now, cause once you smell this fragrance you can never see any good vanilla fragrances the same This is the type of fragrance that creates swirls, the type of fragrance that make you float like those cartoons characters when they smell the scent of food This is like Christmas in a bottle and I mean it, it has like a peppermint feel to it that swirls to your nose from the pink pepper note it smells like a Christmas party and I'm here for it I don't give a shit if you see this review and be like "this guy is glazing tf outta this fragrance" I'd rather glaze this fragrance then glaze jazz Club from the replica line cause that fragrance is lowk buns Anyways what I'm trying to say is that you should get this fragrance cause it smells like santa is finna tell you a secret I give this fragrance a 12/10
