34 Boulevard Saint Germain

Who, other than Olivier Prescheux could combine such notes to create a seamless, sophisticated, elegant and elevated symphony? When I first encountered 34 I ✨gasped✨ and whispered “oh wow” as I sniffed the blotter and proceeded to test on my skin. 34 opens spicy with a hefty dose of cinnamon and clove (L’Eau) but the use of a beautiful fig leaf note (ode to Philosykos) and carefully placed green notes, blackcurrant (a nod to Baies/L’Ombre Dans L’Eau) and slightly zingy citruses help to steer this away from being a potentially overbearing and overwhelmingly heavily spiced opening. The heart of this fragrance stole mine... the elegance of rose, slightly balmy, sweet tuberose and waxy iris. In the base there’s a gentle oily, sticky, resinous/balsamic feel, along with refined, smooth woods and a eucalyptus note I find to be refreshing and grounding creating a meditative feel for me. In the late dry down I get a gorgeous, smooth amber. The concept of this fragrance is one I used to question in the sense that, how could it be executed into a wearable experience? How could it not be a total mess? 34 evokes the scented aura of Diptyque’s Paris boutique located at 34 Boulevard St. Germain. I feel it takes various standout elements of their bestsellers both in the home fragrance and perfume realms. The essence of all the olfactory indulgences meddling together, encapsulated. Both their unlit and burning candles, the fragrance has this waxy undertone perhaps from the iris—reminiscent of wax candles, melting wax and polished/waxed pale woods which are used to furnish the boutique. The scent of all their perfumes’ molecules in fine mist permeating the atmosphere. Fragrance infused wood infuser sticks. A myriad of olfactory profiles collecting and settling on expensive, smooth, glossed wooden countertops. Does this fragrance manage to convincingly conjure this essence and imagery? Indeed, all of the above elements have been exquisitely and expertly captured and crafted into a beautiful perfume that which is effortlessly wearable and enjoyable. It is a scent I crave and find enveloping, meditative and soothing. Something I reach for all year round but especially during the cooler months as this really shines on colder days and nights and delivers a delicious balsamic coziness however; beauuuutiful on Summer evenings like somebody mentioned below. My husband loves this just as much as I do. 34 really made me contemplate on the bittersweet fact that we won’t ever have another Olivier Prescheux creation ever again—but his work still remains in the world to be celebrated, to be found, to be enamoured and enchanted by. ✨ A wondrous, comforting amber glow, woody vapours.

"Ummm, what am I smelling?" That was my initial reaction when I stumbled across 34 Blvd while browsing the Diptyque line. The pushy SA sprayed some of everything on my arm: Volutes (Chergui lite), L'eau, Duelle, Tam Dao, Oyedo,34 blvd, and eau de 34. Attempting to be nice, it got so bad I had to sneak away and spray several fragrances on cards before I left. Needless to say, I walked away that day not too impressed with Diptyque fragrances or their staff. But, something on one of the cards (couldn't tell you which card at the time because they were all stashed in the same pocket lol) smelled amazing. The next day, I had to figure out what I was smelling. So I tried Volutes, and while I thought it was a well blended fragrance, I likened it to a weaker Serge Lutens Chergui...this was not the smell that caught my attention. Luckily, the second fragrance I tried was 34 blvd, and again I found myself asking "what is this I'm smelling." I was entranced by the smell; so unique and busy but never unpleasant. It was fresh with the black currant and citruses and also spicy from the pink pepper, clove, and cinnamon. But the scent journey got even crazier when the floral mid began to commingle with the sweetness of the citruses. The base kept everything interesting with a fresh eucalyptus, resinous drydown. I've never come across a fragrance that evokes the feeling of yesteryear; classic and forgotten - almost mysterious. Yet, in that same whiff, conjures images of modernity and flair all while remaining herbaceous, smoky, and sweet...in different phases highlighting light and heavy elements. Just a weird, beautiful composition. "Whose idea was it to make this beauty?" As I stand there in awe of this fragrance, that same pushy SA from the other day decides to walk my way with something in hand. I stopped him immediately, "please don't spray me with anything and tell me what's in this fragrance I'm wearing." After giving me the notes in his little pamphlet, he then goes on to say "this is being discontinued and you'll only be able to buy eau de 34." So, I'm not sure if he was being honest, but after a quick online search for a discounted 34 Blvd (didn't find anything), Diptyque became $100 richer. I wore this all throughout last fall and winter, and even used it during the cooler spring months. I've worn it at sporting events, family gatherings, job outings, etc. I haven't come across anyone that doesn't like this "beautiful mess" of a fragrance. Great job Diptyque! Side note: Is this being discontinued? If not, I feel like I owe that SA a visit! Turned me into an impulsive buyer...shame on that guy! Lol

First of all, this definitely isn't your typical Dyptique. This is a complex, abstract, "everything but the kitchen sink" modern chypre kinda thing that works surprisingly well. If I had to sum it up, I'd say that it vaguely smells like an expensive, fruity, floral scented candle, which, paradoxically, isn't all that shocking considering it's still a Dyptique. It has an old school quality that stems from its structure, it doesn't put a single note at the forefront, instead it's an amalgamation of a slightly ridiculous amount of notes (at least by modern standards), and it has a distinct 3 stage drydown of top, heart and base. It transitions quite a bit throughout the wear, just like the great classics of yesteryear, and yet, it doesn't actually smell like something from the 20th century. It's ultimately a modern scent that adheres to modern sensibilities, it's shiny and transparent, you won't find massive aldehydes, nor strong powdery florals, oakmoss, civet, nor anything remotely animalic for that matter, it's very mass appealing and utterly inoffensive, yet it's not boring, it's cozy, soulful, slightly lived in and undeniably charming. It's very pleasant as a whole, but the real beauty is in the details, and how easily you can actually deconstruct it and smell each individual note, starting from the juicy, rejuvenating top notes of black currant, fig and spices, the floral bouquet in the middle, and the waxy, resinous, yet slightly green base. In other words, it's just a damn good perfume. You should try it.

34 is a scent of many faces. It is complex, multifaceted and hauntingly beautiful. You see, if I tried to do a regular note description, I feel I would fail miserably. I tried this a lot of times and each time I felt a note I failed to spot earlier - I could believe you if you tried to tell me any of the listed notes is present. It has its share of spices, resins, floral notes, woods. All of these notes and vibes 34 gives are pleasant and well-mannered. Even with plentiful phases which intersect at times, this one never feels cacophonous to me. It always smells good, but in an assortment of ways. Longevity of 34 is quite good, but its scent cloud is somewhat personal. I feel this one suits cold weather a bit better, but it is safe enough to be worn year round. Evening and/or intimate wear are the best options for this scent, in my opinion, but casual wear is fine as well. What makes this scent so good in my eyes is its dual nature - it is both heavy and ethereal, both modern and classic. It is also vastly different from any other Diptyque I've tried, because of its complexity and 'perfumeness'. In my book, this is a fantastic scent, but make sure to try it a few times before you make a decision about it. What I find complex may be overwhelming to another person. Somehow, I got the best possible results out of this one. As good of a Diptyque as there is. 9,5/10

Just got around to testing this, out... my first impressions is a beautiful soft scent , some spicy quality to it that I like, the opening was a definite ok ..nice..a bit strong at first sort of fooled me a bit on what the scent would actually be. so quickly this seems to really tame down to just a very nice aroma, it does seem to change a bit as it finds it's transformation.. I see this as masculine but I could also see how women could easily wear this. I really like it.. I only have a small 2.5 atomizer that I got from surrender to chance among a couple of others that I plan on trying...this is a more sophisticated fragrance in my opinion. CONFIDENT MAN. I am taken with it, trying to figure out what I would compare this to? I see some listed and I would agree with a lot of the observations..so maybe not one I could pinpoint. could be different on others. I like that aspect.. overall I am impressed with this one. longevity on me seems quite good, and glad I tried it. I did see a review on you tube about this that sort of tempted me to try it out. prices are a little high.. I would own this though. maybe a future time or perhaps buy a larger sample to wear when I feel like this type of scent. it is one that could make me change another fragrance along this line and upgrade for this..two thumbs up for me.

Cozy leather, spicy pink peppercorn, and green eucalyptus / vetiver. Easily likable Gucci Pour Homme II (without fresh/blue). More warm - like Hanae Mori “HiM” and Creed “Royal Oud.” Dry paper/fabric note flattens things while maintaining dense dry grass. Quickly picks back up as things round out for dry down. Worthy entry in the genre that sings and is hard not to like, but EDP’s probably better. 1ST TRY: Opens very spicy leather and wool/textile with more resin than wood. Intoxicating blend of sharp, warm spices like cinnamon and clove. Balanced by a jammy depth. Dry floral notes start refreshingly bitter and slowly soften with a little vanilla. Hard to believe powdered rose can work for a guy, but it’s buried in so many heady spices, it feels like a classy exotic bazaar. Rose dances in and out from bold spices, which flirts with grandparents - but remains nuanced and energetic to work for sexy gentlemen. Definitely not old/stale. Overall, curiously cozy/comfortingly, while complex and a little different/challenging.

Is this a well made oriental, or a floral? Or a woody spicy? The note list is accurate and for once I can actually smell everything listed, which is really rare in a fragrance. Lovely opening, which is quite leafy and fruity thanks to the Black Currant and its leaves, there is also a touch of Violet and Tuberose, it's more feminine at this stage and it fills the room (to be soon way more tamed and less potent than expected... Longevity is nice and projection average), but it's well balanced with the other notes coming in the mid such as Cinnamon, Clove and Iris. It's a bit powdery, spicy and sweet, and ultimately well blended and unique, doesn't smell like anything else to my nose despite being in the oriental-woody-spicy family. 100% unisex. Drydown is beautiful, it almost feel like a "layer" of all the notes used until this stage, where a creamy, almost gourmand resin/amber pops and blends everything together, creating a really inviting scent. Smells like a Victorian Era cozy bedroom during Winter.

Like others have said, this scent is supposed to represent the fragrance of being in a Diptyque boutique, namely the original one at the address in the name. I love Diptyque for both their fragrances and their candles. I also love visiting the local boutique near me, so to me, they reached their goal with this fragrance. But, is that something I want to smell like? Turns out for me the answer is yes. Ok, I find it hard to pick out many of the notes listed above, except for the fruity notes, they are present from the opening through the dry down, but it is an overall great smell. In fact, it's one of the only fragrances I've ever received an unsolicited compliment for. It's labeled unisex and I believe that it is, though I do feel it leans a little masculine, but only barely. I have yet to be disappointed by Diptyque and this one is another winner for me.

Dear Reader, Probably like many of you, I have many, many fragrances. There are those that suite situations perfectly, moods, weather, and then those that are easy to grab that just feel great to wear no matter the time or situation. 34, for me, is one that I get something different from the wearing almost each time. I understand that this is likely due to the multitude of notes, and I've heard some even call it a mess. I happen to really like it! I find it elegant, and incomparable, and while I do get the potpourri references, it is still unique and unlike any other fragrance inspired or often compared to potpourri. Quite a performer as well, and absolutely should be considered signature worthy as you will set yourself apart in the most beautiful way. One of those that even other frag lovers are both impressed and stumped by.

In Hungary there is a very delicious food called "szilvás gombóc" in english: plummy dumplings. This dessert is a potato dumplings, inside which there are plums with cinnamon and sugar. Once the dumplings are cooked sprinkled with breadcrumbs, sugar and vanilla. This fragrance opens with exactly the same smell like this dessert. Hot steaming plum dumplings. A few hours later the edges are faded, and they give the space to the sophisticated dark mauve texture. This same time silky and dry mellow base covered by a refined powder, wich sometimes shimmering in pink and green colors. These beautiful soothing chords remains with us for hours, ensuring a divine comfort feeling to the perfume wearer. Diptyque's 34 boulevard Saint Germain is one of my top 5 fragrance. Fantastic parfume! I Love it!

A great scented candle! This is supposed to represent the olfactory journey through the flagship Diptyque store in Paris (hence the address of the name). Woods (cedar and sandalwood), florals, fig-leaf, hints of earth. Very well blended. To me it reminds me of walking through the latin quarter in Paris on a cold winter's days, wearing sunglasses to shade out the light. Tobacco, spices, clove, incense, berries, geranium, patchouli. Very much going on in this fragrance. Even if it may not be totally unique, it's still a great exotic balsamic amber oriental layered with fig. Full bodied without being too heavy. Keeping the notes in checque in the yin/yang of this one is quite an accomplishment. Truly unisex. A caleidoscope of notes and overall it's surprisingly easy to wear.

34 Boulevard is magic in a bottle. Evokes luxury and sophistication without screaming it. Diptyque has taken the Chypre and hurled it into the modern era. This is an incredible blend of fruit, floral, and spice and on a bed of resins. Amber is sometimes listed as the resin, however I get more of an enchanting benzoin note and a sweet spiciness that reminds me of TF Myrrh Mystere and Boss Bottled Elixir...Additionally, the concept of Diptyque adding notes from all of their other perfumes to create this scent is incredibly compelling to me. Like every other Diptyque frag, this is truly unisex and would smell elevated and seductive on anyone. Ideal for colder weather, or evenings, and certain to garner the question we all want to hear: “WHAT are you wearing?”

This is so warm, so spicy, like a cocoon that I just want to live in. Definitely for Fall/Winter but I'm wearing it at night in May and it's beautiful. This was the first perfume my daughter ever fell in love with years ago, and she was nice enough to give me a decant this past week. It's very classic French perfumery, upscale and blended magnificently. I love the warmth and spices but I also love the sweet juiciness I get from the black currant. I wish I got tuberose but I don't. I also don't get fig or papyrus, and I'm thankful for that because I don't like them. The woods in this are particularly gorgeous to me. This smells feminine to/on me. If you are a perfume lover, male or female, you have to try this at least once!

This was love at first sniff, - 34 is a slightly more feminine version of Spicebomb. Oh gods this smell fantastic. It opens up with that almost "sour" note that wet wood can have, and after a while it just hugs you in warm, dry spicyness. Here's cloves, cardamom and cinnamon together without turning you in to a christmas cookie, and there is also something slightly juicy behind the warm and dry layer (I can't smell the currant wich is a blessing in itself, because currant is NOT a favourite), and everything just comes together with the waves of florals just crashing in on the wood-and-spice beach. This one instantly jumped up on the favourites shelf, and may your reign be long and peaceful.

I love a great unisex fragrance, and 34 is huge win for me. I enjoy each and every stage that the scent evolves on my skin. Which is rare for me. My chemistry likes to amp any gourmand or floral notes, so I try to find fragrances that have less of those characteristics. This scent blooms so beautifully on me. Yes, there's floral, but it's the green of the plant, so fresh and crisp. Those floral notes in dry down, echo powdery skin scent. The spices, woods and resins add depth and a unwitting sensuality that anchor the whole together. Projection stays close to moderate. longevity is average. All Genders can enjoy this gem. It's immediately on my wish list.

For me it is a hidden gem type of fragrance. I mean I would never buy a bottle based on couple tests in shop, as from first glance it's indeed remind a bit of luxe Dior/Chanel type of male fragrances. But thanks god nice lady in counter insisted of me taking a sample of it and give it an extensive try. The trick is within wearing you see how complex and comprehensive it is, how many nuances are in it and how it plays on skin within a day. That is the old school type of fragrance when you can not differentiate exact note, so well it's blended. I would call it sober, elegant, definitely unisex, can be potentially a signature scent or all-year-rounder.

I love Diptyque scents because they are very original, beautiful, long lasting and truly unisex. 34 Boulevard St Germain is a gorgeous and innovative modern chypre. Although this is classified as 'warm spicy', the first impression is rather 'cold' and fresh, due to eucalyptus, green leaves and blackcurrant. As the scent develops, it warms up a bit, with the arrival of balsamic and floral notes. Due to this colder and greener opening, at first sniff it might seem like a masculine scent, but as a woman I have found it to be very wearable. The sillage is moderate, even when oversprayed, so it is great for daytime wear, and completely office friendly.

Straight from the bottle it smells like every other 90s men’s cologne. I got a bottle in the Advent calendar and sprayed it on the inside of the box to test. I hated it. Then, a couple days later, I smelled it again and it was heavenly. The heady, overdone effect wears off in less than an hour. Then it becomes the most wonderfully complex and beautiful skin scent. I get compliments literally every time I wear this from both men and women. It became my signature, but then Covid changed my sense of smell and I can no longer enjoy it. I’m devastated. Hopefully one day my sense of smell will return to normal and I can enjoy this again.

Dipytique 34 Boulevard Saint Germain (2011) - dipytique store - My first fragrance love from the house of Dipytique developed by the late #olivierpescheux that had an interesting story. Using fragrance analysis technology inside the store, they mapped out the molecules that made its distinctive smell and created a perfume everyone could wear. The smell? Spicy cloves and cinnamon up top mixed with berries and crushed leaves. The heart is where it shines by showcasing the florals the house is known to sell - Jasmine, Tuberose, Rose, and Iris. Powdery, earthy yet fresh. Dries down to a woody and chypre-like base.

Boulevard Saint Germain is a beautiful fragrance! This scent embodies green spiciness to the letter. Cloves, currant, cinnamon and fig leaf for good measure. Wearing BSG feels like standing under a tree on an early fall morning; very relaxing and soothing. BSG is well blended, the green notes keep this scent's balance never veering towards too spicy or too floral. BSG is perfectly unisex and is constantly in my wife's rotation (shhhh I had to steal this from her just to write this review!). For those of you who love cozy, spicy fall scents this one is right up your alley!

On a clear, warm spring day you visit a grand botanic garden in full, vibrant bloom that is surrounded by huge eucalyptus trees swaying in the breeze. For a picnic morning tea, you are spreading a delightfully sweet blackcurrant jelly on your freshly baked spiced scones and drinking freshly squeezed lemonade. This garners more compliments than anything else in my collection, without a doubt. I initially found it to be too feminine and perhaps too "perfumey", but now I simply do not care. It is amongst the most beautiful things I have ever smelt.

Beautiful opening, elegant and stylish! It makes me feel in harmony .... unisex fragrance perfectly elegant! It opens to reveal almost immediately its imposing character and determined! turns warm, woody, resinous ... very nice! Quite complex, every note is in harmony with the other without prevailing too. It 'a scent quite versatile, elegant, sophisticated with a good sillage and longevity very good! (8-10 hours). Recommended for the days of the fall or winter. Great perfume, advice! i love this perfume very much. Warm and inviting. I can smell ambery and woodsy notes most of the time. Which are my fave. The blend is fine. Very spicy aromatic. Quite a different direction from the normal Diptyque range which is more greens and herbal. It is hard for you to dislike this, though it may not be your top favorite. packaging is good too. I like to hold the bottle, fits your hand perfectly and easy to point the sprayer. So wearable anywhere anytime. Lasting but projection is moderate. 34 Blvd. St Germain is very special to me.

Trabuquera’s review should have me a bit prepared for the actual product, but it really wasn’t quite the same as actually smelling the perfume. Yes it does seem to be a mixture of this and that but all in all, its core seem rather similar to Obsession for Men which I was hoping it would be. So the main vibe is quite like that of CK OfM but it’s not a dupe of it. The vibe is there but it’s much drier, not as sweet as I was hoping it would be. Edit. A bit after ten hours, what’s left of the perfume was just soft sweet rubbery skin scent.

Do not be put off by the edt concentration, this is a warm and beguiling spice bomb with a strong sillage. A great many notes are listen here but patchouli is not and this is a principal note I pick up. The official notes as listed on the Diptyque website are Amber/patchouli accord, Rose, Cinnamon, Blackcurrant buds. This is a heady warm spicy concoction which smells like cosy autumn nights. It is resinous and super classy and elegant. Like Diptyque’s Benjoin Boheme and Musc Ravageur by Frédéric Malle had a baby.

I came by this scent by way of the soap, which has an earthy, spicy profile--lots of carnation, clove, smoke, and opopanix with a wee bit of currant and rose on top. It certainly smells like 34 Blvd. St. Germain. It's fantastic. In the perfume, all those interesting notes are buried under a dense layer of powdered iris and amber. It doesn't evolve at all on my skin, sadly. On me, it just smells like any of the generic scents of fashion houses you can buy at a Macy's counter.

I wanted to get a diptyque fragrance into my fold so I put my nose to the lineup. This scent stood out as it is quite unique. The rep told me that it was designed to give all the scents that are present in their old atelier in France on 34 rout st germaine. I don't know how well they did, but this scent is a very nice but complex blend of all of the scents in the lineup. It is a bit sexy as well. I can say that it is a definite try as some may find it too busy. my score 8.5

This is pretty good. It has some of the qualities of L'Eau Diptyque's cinnamon and clove without the same focus on these notes, the heaviness and creamy base of sandalwood. This is however woody and floral too and has a nice dry down, which lasts on my skin well. I think 34 Boulevard saint Germain will also take a few tries to form a solid opinion and get more of the complexities from it. I'm not sure I'd wear this but I wasn't repelled so further investigation is required.

Criminally underrated. One, if not the best, of Diptyque’s fragrances. Some of the criticism is that it’s “too complex,” or it’s trying to do “too much” or it’s got an “identity crisis.” Those sound more like academic arguments than helpful reviews of the perfume. In real life, it’s such a perfect marriage of notes: fresh green with soft spicy warmth. It’s like they took the best of the 70s and put it in a beautiful bottle. Go to the nearest Diptyque counter and try this.

Another one for my wish list. It may be fairly new but it's a timeless, crisp, androgynous scent that I can get obsessive about. Edit: I bought the solid perfume and I don't recommend it. It doesn't smell exactly the same as the spray, more like a craft store, and the staying power is not great. Also it made my skin itch a bit, but I do have some sensitivities. I wish I had bought a spray but the solid compact is so cute and I thought it would be good for traveling.

This is a powerful perfume. Elegant and sophisticated. When I first smelled it I immediately thought "Powerful 80's perfume!" but in a good way. I do not mean it smells dated. To me it smells feminine. My son thought it smelled more masculine. I can't tell you any specific notes that I smell~there are a lot but they are all blended beautifully. Be careful when spraying this one-a little goes a very long way! Sillage and longevity are strong and long lasting.

I love this so much. I was on a flight on Qatar Airways and a sample bottle of this was included in their Business Class complimentary bag. I can tell you it had awoken something in me because now I want all my fragrances to have the same kind of woody, warm, sophisticated yet cozy profile (can't even do that because I live in the ME). It makes me feel like I'm sitting at a bar listening to jazz, and I want all my fragrances to make me feel that way!

This is beautiful from beginning to end. It's a perfect blend for me, of spices, woods and black currant. And somewhere in that mix is a 'plasticky' element that takes me back to childhood, maybe the aroma of a classroom, I don't know - but it's a comforting aroma, not abrasive or repellent. The citrus opening is lovely but brief, then it just seems to unfold into a sweet woody chypre and it just keeps getting better and better. This is a winner.

Based on the Qatar Airways sample I loved this so so much. I am dying to get a bottle. I wish it lasted longer, but the initial spray has this wonderful sillage. I had gotten many many compliments wearing this. Probably my most complimented. I’m praying it’s still good now. Will buy a full bottle soon. Thank you diptyque. Btw this is sooooo much better than the edp it’s not even funny. Smoky fruity cinnamon amber, love it. Rest in peace Oliver.

Incredibly powerful cloves note. I unfortunately don't do cloves ( I sold my Xerjoff's Dolce Amalfi, I didn't liek Robert Piguet's spicy perfumes or Serge Luten's Noire, etc, even sold my Tom Ford's Lily). The cloves notes for me overpowers all other notes and just stands outs so much that I can't smell anything else around me. I just think it's overall not for me. This is a very masculine perfume though and has an incredibly strong projection!

A balsamic, amber oriental that’s woody, citrusy, smoky, fruity and most definitely soapy. The soapy element is white, frothy, oily and fatty - the kind that you find in fine French bathrooms. It’s so beautiful, pretty and definitely leaning much more feminine BUT... it doesn’t last. I’ve got the toilette and it lasts about 2 glorious hours before vanishing. There is a parfum version but I haven’t tried it, so that’s my next quest.

my skin scent. i hate most clove and cinnamon fragrances but this has its own life. first spray is very very sweet, after 5-10 minutes it starts settling in. hours later is the best. after ive sprayed my sweatshirt with it and gone to sleep, upon waking up the scent is just incredible. warm creamy and spicy skin, like smelling your hair close to the scalp after a nap. this perfume has taken over my life and fits me like a glove.

I actually think this is excellent and is one of my favorites to date. I just ordered the edp and I’m hoping they are different enough. I mostly get a spicy ambery rose. I feel like the biggest man or the littlest woman and everything in between could rock this with no problem. I think the edt works on all but the hottest of days if you only spray it twice. Hope these do well enough to not be discontinued

If a well worn pair of deep brown Oxford shoes were a perfume. If The Secret History was a perfume. If an antique chess board were a perfume. This is the smell of the beautiful, ancient school we all wished we went to. Powdery pencil shavings and bees wax polished wooden desks. An absolute masterpiece that has, perhaps temporarily, satiated my quest for the perfect perfume.

Lovely fragrance. It's a mix of everything but they pull it off so beautifully. It starts off fruity with soft citrus, but soon melt down into creamy woody scent that I can't get enough of. I was told that this was more of fall/winter perfume, but I think it's so versatile that it could be worn anytime in mostly every occasion. I think this might be signature scent for me.

This was my introduction to Diptyque, it was love at first smell. Spicy and warm at first, but then becomes softer. My husband also loves this fragrance. Very easy to wear, not overpowering and doesn't give me a headache. Now I am addicted to Diptyque perfumes and have started to collect more. This fragrance can also be mixed with Tam Dao as they both have similar notes.

Spicy, woody, and just the right balance of sweetness to round it out. Fruit and cardamom hit at first sniff, and a very dry woodsy base that I personally read as cedar. Sidles the line between feminine and masculine, though I think it leans more feminine (I couldn't really imagine this on most men). I do however find the longevity lacking, and the sillage minimal.

This is a very unique scent with all the notes blending so smoothly that 34 becomes a new element on the periodic table. It changes, sometimes it smells like a cinnamon-vanilla candle, other times like clean powdery laundry. Roasted nuts and woody eucalyptus grounds the base. It's not overly sweet. A wonderful scent that I will definitely buy a full bottle of.

My favorite scent. I love it so much. It balances so many complex and interesting notes to create a truly beautiful experience. When originally hearing about Replica's Jazz Club scent, this is the vibe I was imagining and I find this fragrance to be leagues better. Will definitely be purchasing a full-sized bottle and solid versions soon. 10/10 masterpiece.

My first Diptyque and probably my favorite from this house.. It's a complex but well balanced blend of floral and woody notes with some spices.. I would say it's a formal-casual, modern yet classic type of scent.. It smells rich to say the least! Well done, Diptyque!

I used to wear it a lot and then I got tired ...then after 5 years the juice became orange color no kidding ! And the Fragance is marvelous ! Just don’t over spray it 3 applications and that’s it !! Magic Rose , tuberose cinnamon clove etc a cocktail for the night

In the summer, this scent explodes with cloves, cinnamon, resins and pepper. It's less sweet and more cozy during the cold season. After a while, a gorgeous base remains: resins, wood and freshening eucalyptus. I love wearing it in the fall

Simply this is the best formal-casual , classic-modern , sport-chick perfume , i cannot forget oldies when i use it yet it doesn't let me feel it is classic , i wear it in day and night , wintery very warm and calm , i love it .

My signature scent, it so sophisticated, love the fact it's surprisingly underrated. But my body just eats up this perfume. And even on my clothes the longevity needs some work in both EDT & EDP.

Talk about a boutique! The imagery on this cologne is perfect, with a strong spicy opening, and a dry down that reminds me of sitting on a Parisian street corner, watching the world go by.
