skin flower is the perfect name for this fragrance. it melts into the skin & leaves behind the muskiest & most powdery scent, a haunting iris note that pairs up beautifully with the earthy carrot note. this smells like alice in wonderland, or perhaps jane eyre. it's melancholic with a sense of freedom. out of the three (edp, edt, solid perfume), it sits on the skin the best for me. i also adore the packaging, it's very convenient to carry around!

My partner (male) loves this, but we disagree - ambrette and carrot seeds is a repulsive combination to my nose. Strangely enough, my partner says that to him this smells like a workshop, like a train station, something inherently manly. To me it smells like diapers. Very long lasting - it was still detectable on his skin the next day, even after he took a shower.

This is the smell of Edwardian mother and baby. Of lace and frill and lactonic soapy iris. Muted, hazy, dreamy, and much more tolerable than the OG fleur de peau EDP powder bomb. The balm blurs the edges. Makes it feel true to form and closer to skin and cloth.
