Fleur de Peau Eau de Toilette (2025) presents itself as a more airy and luminous reinterpretation of the famous Eau de Parfum version. If the original is known for being dense, "carnal" and deep, this version seems to focus everything on lightness. The opening is a breath of freshness, the addition of Mandarin alongside the classic Pink Pepper is a brilliant move. While the pink pepper maintains that "spicy" and dry character typical of the line, the citrus gives an initial burst of energy that is missing in the EDP version. I see the EDT and EDP divide, and I respect it. Upon sniffing all the scents from Diptyque, the Fleur de Peau caught my attention. I had no idea that it had a whole cult following, including apparently Lisa (from Black Pink)'s signature scent. To me, Fleur de Peau is a comforting, warm, sexy but elegant scent. That's what captures me the most. I don't like scents that are too loud or overtly sexy that veers into the trashy zone. This scent is alluring, gentle yet powerful, sort of "motherly," if that makes sense.. it reminds me of my own mother, and also of young mothers in general. Maybe it is the "intimate, skin-like, comfort" that it evokes, like being in a woman's loving embrace. I like the EDT more than the EDP as the EDP smells soapy on my skin. The EDT has more depth on me.. and smells of leather, musk, and flowers on my skin. The EDT is also very long-lasting (~6 hours even after washing my hands). As a usually Fresh/Green scent lover, I really don't need my perfumes to last longer than that. Also, a random person complimented me while I was wearing this, which is always pretty flattering and a sign that the scent interacts pleasantly with my skin.

Peppery, Musky, lightly floral, yet clean. This is fairly neutral and definitely a crowd pleaser. However, I do find women are more drawn to it than men. The initial spray doesn't last more than an hour or two, but after it settles on the skin, it leaves an almost natural smell, like your skin but better. In the first 2 hours, you'll definitely smell it, but after this, you won't be able to smell it unless there's a strong breeze. This is definitely a scent you'll easily become nose blind too. Don't give in to the temptation to respray! Let it settle! This is an extremely luxurious and expensive-smelling perfume. It smells like your rich Aunt embracing you. I'd recommend buying the matching body balm to apply beforehand. If you're someone who either isn't sure about the notes or doesn't know exactly what you like, I'd recommend finding a store that carries this scent and trying it out. Let it settle on your skin and then commit to a bottle. If you know that you'll love this peppery, light, and musky scent, buy it asap!

I've tried EDP and EDT on each wrist just to compare them. EDP is darker and deeper, dustier. While EDT is brighter. Both have the same "veggie" background, but where EDP enhances it, the EDT pushes it to the back, bringing to the front a musky-flower profile thay reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez's line or Lazy Sunday Morning. EDP is warmer, cozier and more grown up. Smells cleans but in a new furniture way, with the clean profile of new wood. EDT is lighter, more uplifting. The cleanliness comes from a floral perfume used just after a bath. Both have its similarities, you can tell they are siblings.The older one is serious and elegant, and the younger one is carefree and pretty. Having them both I realise that I may not need two bottles of Fleur de Peau, since the EDP and EDT are quite similar. BUT i will use both, because to my nose both are a whole. EDT is for summer and spring and EDP is for autumn and winter. The longevity is similar. Both stay DAYS on clothes and have moderate projection on the skin.

Absolutely Fleur de Peau, and absolutely different. Curious to know the perfumer, as walking in the footsteps of Olivier Pescheux is no easy feat. The EDT feels a little warmer, where the EDP could be more chilled; the EDT feels just a little exuberant and sunshiny, and the EDP is my rainy day love affair. I'm predicting that the magnolia blended in will make this a really successful release, and it will be a well-loved addition to the growing FdP family. She's ethereal, y'all. And the iris is so, so good. I've hesitated with Diptyque purchases for the past few years because of multiple price increases that felt truly excessive (though my love for the brand has remained steadfast). But I pounced instantly on this release! :) I have and adore Fleur de Peau EDP, and consider it a signature. There have been many times I've wished for an EDT... Diptyque must have eavesdropped on my dreams!

Someone killed the grandma and replaced her with a gorgeous, successful, 40 year old woman lmao. Listen, the perfume version is GORGEOUS, and EdP is my signature because it is so heavenly. This is just as great but lighter. The EdP tended to be quite dense with its smell. This one just feels more cloudy. The overwhelming powderness (which I love) is gone. The feeling of being in your fashionable grandma’s closet is still present but to a lesser extent. You are now smelling her scarf as opposed to her home. Some people referred to the EdP version as someone just coming out of shower smell. That was absurd. Now, I can kind of see it. This smells like a very pleasant bar of pink soap. In conclusion, this is a bomb. Just like the OG. If you find the EdP a bit too heavy handed, this is for you.

Wow. I don't know why but I don't get any of the notes others were so negatively reporting. This is magical on me. The scent mixes with my skin making it so incredibly sexy, so mysterious, elegant and at the same time soft and modest. This is so feminine on me and I can only say that the name describes what it is by 100%, flower of the skin. I did try a dupe of this before but it was so much more makeup-y than this one. Fleur de Peau is gorgeous, like a blooming secret flower that only the chosen ones get to fully experience. Such a beautiful, powdery magnolia, powered by iris and citrus, which envelops you completely, soft and clean. I did not expect to love it but I am fascinated and enamoured with this scent, definitely will be trying EDP to see how it performs.

It's rather unusual that I'd find myself gravitate towards anything powdery, but Fleur de Peau does it for me. I don't know why but at first sniff I felt it was too powdery for me, but a minute later I began to fall in love with it. It's tender, lofty - like you're hugging a cloud, if that makes any sense. This is a very safe scent which will offend nobody, unless you overspray by a lot. It's almost unconventional, but in a good way. Not sure what I'll compare it to but it's the same vibe as Narcisso Rodriguez Musk stuff and maybe the Body Shop white musk. Pretty nice stuff. Edit: I have definitely smelt this on someone before, but not recently. Someone from over 20 years ago in my middle school or even primary school. Brings a sense of nostalgia to me for sure.

I have the most peculiar experience with this scent, Fleur de Peau EDT. It smells brilliant on initial spray, a light, airy Iris delicate with its other notes. So very much a skin scent of course. To my nose, I can no longer smell it after two hours. But my goodness I do love the scent. Despite me not being able to smell it after two hours, I get adamant compliments on it from people with me within close proximity or within a small confined space. So it leaves me conflicted at which, do I reapply after said time because I smell things for me? Or do I spray during the morning before my work day and that is all? A mystery regarding nose blindness and sillage, but I find most ambroxan/ambrette type of fragrances are a riddle.

It's been interesting to read others' reviews of FdP EdT being weak because one spray of this lasts a whole day for me, even through my sweat and I live in a place that averages 80% in daily humidity. I much prefer this to the EdP. Both concentrations are heavy on the iris - cold, crystalline, beautiful. The EdT does feel less complex and smells a lot more floral-forward than the EdP, but EdP dries down quite metallic on my skin and that makes me feel slightly nauseated. This smells kind of like Glossier's You but with more flowers.

I bought L’Eau Papier, and because of it, got a travel size of this as a gift. I was immediately hooked. Two Diptyque bottles in one month should be illegal, but I could not help it. It’s unbelievable how wearable this is. I will reach for this any day, any time, any season. Natural clean. Laundry hung outdoors to dry. Nostalgic but Modern. It smells like the color white. I just seriously can’t get over it... and somehow, despite liking it to begin with, it’s GROWN on me! Move over Glossier You. There’s a new skin scent in town!

Diptyque was one of the houses that caught my attention when I started my perfume journey and helped me understood the difference between niche fragrances and designer. Fleur de Peau is such a unique scent that I’ve learned to appreciate. I remember it smelling cold and little like lipstick. I couldn’t imagine myself wearing it. But as it dries down on skin, the warmth comes through and the iris note blooms. I imagine someone with clean porcelain skin dressed in an all black silk dress wearing this. Pretty and sophisticated.

If Fleur de Peau EDP is sniffing laundry soap straight from the bottle, the EDT is the smell of the corresponding laundry straight from the dryer. Unmistakeably the same core scent, but the EDT is warmer, more transparent, and more floral. In contrast, the EDP is denser, and more piercing. I prefer the EDP, but it feels more like a scent for the colder months to me, whereas this feels easier to wear in the warmer months. You probably don't need both (although here I am keeping both, hah).

Diptyque must have heard my prayers after reluctantly selling a full size Fleur de Peau EDP because I just couldn’t make it work with my skin chemistry no matter how hard I tried. This is softer and warmer but less powdery. It smells like what a warm hug feels like. This is everything I wanted and more. Lasts on my clothes for 12+ hours and I get hints of it throughout the day that just instantly calm and ground me. I don’t think I’ll ever be without this fragrance in my collection.

I usually doesn’t like musky perfume, and the edp version is really not my cup of tea. Tried this on my skin, doesn’t like the opening as it was kind of strong and sharp. But after 5 mins, it settled on my skin, become a bit powderly, floral and abit sweet and musky and stay as this for 5-6 hours, longer on clothes. It is feminine, well blended, clean and soothing scent, which is suitable for most daily activities.

Been a while since I’ve worn this, but lately I’ve been turning my nose up at my usual daily fragrances. They are suddenly too sweet and intense for me. Sometimes you just want to smell clean and put together, with a unique touch. Now I’m sad my bottle is almost empty as I’ve been craving this EDT so badly. Yes, it’s a ‘grandma’ scent, but pretty soon the new grandma scent is going to be Burberry and YSL so!!

First impressions on this is are beautiful. I’ve never experienced the EDP but I certainly want to now! Fleur de Peau perfectly exudes my whimsical Victorian look- gorgeous iris with a powdery cosmetic finish. Extremely sparkling vintage. I need to sit with this for a few weeks and see how I grow into it, but overall it’s exactly what I think Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland would wear.

to my friends who don't know fragrances, the first whiff smells like acetone even after a couple hours of settling. as someone who doesn't really like the idea of a floral fragrance, this one subverts my expectations. maybe it's because i just never smelled iris in my life but fleur de peau smells really nice and not like a typical in-your-face floral scent.

this smells really good, its noticeable and has great logevity but in a very understated way similarly to others from the brand. Signature scent vibes and really could be worn by most people, this is the scent of someone who is cool but has their shit together. As an edt this outperforms 90% of so called edp's from most houses.

Fleur de Peau is my secret guilty pleasure. I love both the Edp and the Edt - the drydown is exactly the same on my skin, the opening is a bit lighter in the Edt version. However, my husband and best friend really hate this "grandma" scent profile, so this will only live on my fantasy perfume shelf

I really love it and I find it more feminine than the edp. It is more floral while the edp is slightly more nuanced and cold, with an aftershave vibe. Both versions deserve at least a test and are gorgeous. It just depends on the preference, but I personally match better with this edt.

My gatekept scent lmao. I'm a young dude (25 yr old) and this is my most complimented fragrance by women ever. IMO it is completely unisex maybe even slightly leaning masculine. Maybe its just for my specific PH but it blends so perfectly giving this masculine comforting clean scent.

I prefer the EDT version much more than the EDP, the latter feels too soapy for me. The EDT is beautifully fresh, with that divine “just stepped out of the shower” clean scent. Despite being an eau de toilette, it lasts a long time on my skin. Truly beautiful, in my opinion.

This has been my daily driver for months now. I find it as a very classy and clean smelling, unisex skin-scent. Longevity is very good for an EDT, sillage is moderate I guess. Love how the magnolia makes this different by adding a surprising complexity to the composition.

What a beautiful scent. I had Solid perfume for a while and really wanted to try this out. Almost non existing longevity. After an hour couldn't smell any perfume at all. Disappointed, as I love Diptyque fragrances and usually EDT last really long on me.

Nobody's grandmother smells like this. No one's. If she does she's not your typical old lady and she's definitely fucking. This is the same type of musk fragrance like LeLabo Another 13. Gorgeous

Bought the edt today and wearing it right now.. it’s super soft and nice. Beautiful summertime version of the Edp .. which is my favorite of the two.. I love fleur de peau❤️🔥

In love with this scent. Heavenly, light, airy, floral, musky, sensual. Leans feminine. Intoxicating in a fluttering way. Superior to the EDP in my opinion.

"grandma scents" this "grandma scents" that, whatever, this literally smells like my grandma's house. But the best version of my grandma's house.

My new signature scent. Delicate iris and magnolia, smells a bit vintagey but also very clean and fresh!

Mode of testing - ON SKIN: Okay, so to me this is completely different from the EDP, which I adore. This is a watery, zingy, peppery (and this all comes from Magnolia btw) at times almost cologne freshness in the beginning. To me personally this will be a great summer scent as I find anything sweet in summer suffocating, but I am not yet sure I would have paid full price had I not gotten this on a clearance price. 30 minutes: The musk is warming up, and this is now taking the scent into a sweeter territory, but think of the fleshy watery inside of a flower while still keeping it peppery - I love the pepperiness. In this phase there is also powderiness coming in, and while to my nose this is completely different from the EDP somehow it still reminds me of it at this stage. I will say though, right now in this stage, it does smell akin to a less niche and more of a designer type of perfumey scent. but because it keeps the pepperiness going - this saves it from being completely boring. Within 1.5 hours it is a plushy, peppery sweet musky skin scent - as per usual an incense like scent on me. ON CLOTHES: It keeps its cologne vibes, very sharp on clothes - I would be careful to spray on clothes as it borders on headache inducing for women, but for men it may just be the sharpness they are looking for. I would not call this floral. Only after 3.5 hours would I say that this is a somewhat sweet leaning skin scent - this is very nice and light, but it took 3.5 hours to get to this stage. - Dear reviewers please look up what Magnolia is, this has the texture of a succulent - it does not have the floral note people assume. This is a water rich plant - a watery citrusy waxy and peppery petal from a tree. APRIL: Turns out that next day this smells exactly like the EDP on skin. This is good news to me, did not realize this in December tbh. SUMMER: This is now the perfect summer scent for me. In heat it reminds me more of the EDP, but more fresh - perfect to wear in summer - not suffocating, almost refreshing. It is now the only scent I wear in summer.

Like many others, I ended up doing a side-by-side comparison. I’ve been wearing the EDP for quite some time; the EDT is new to me. - First of all, both are beautiful. Both are refined “clean” scents, both feel elegant, and both have good longevity. - Opening: the EDT is noticeably brighter and more citrus-forward. - Heart: They come very close to one another, but the real divergence appears in the drydown. - Drydown: The EDP settles into a more iris- and musk-driven finish. If I had to assign it a color, I’d say a dusty pale lilac; chalky, drier, and distinctly powdery. It feels extremely clean, almost laundry-like. The EDT, on the other hand, remains more citrusy, more floral, and airier overall. If I were to give it a color, it would simply be white. There’s also a subtle soapiness here, and I suspect magnolia plays a role in shaping that effect. ... If you already own the EDP, is the EDT necessary? I’m not entirely convinced; especially if you also have Byredo Blanche, in which case it may feel redundant. That said, if you’re starting from scratch: - EDP: if you want something more powdery and musk-focused + aldehydes - EDT: if you prefer something airier, more citrus-driven, and floral + aldehydes From another perspective: If you love powder and iris = EDP (more iris- and musk-forward, drier, chalkier, and distinctly powdery. Clean to the point of a freshly pressed laundry vibe) If you prefer white florals; especially magnolia = EDT (Brighter, more airy and citrus-tinged, with a subtle soapy freshness. More floral, and clearly white in character) In any case, it’s worth noting that both sit firmly in the same vein and share an unmistakably clean character.

I own both this and the EDP now. If the EDP comes off too powdery or too peppery for you, this one might be a better fit. I think it’s really the aldehydes in the EDP that can throw some people off, and this one doesn’t have that going on at all. It feels more wearable year-round to me. I do think I still prefer the EDP, but that doesn’t mean this one isn’t good. The mandarin really stands out on my skin, and the pink pepper comes across more rosy. The magnolia gives it that fresh, almost clean-laundry vibe, but without going into that sharp aldehyde territory. I do get the BO smell that some describe when I first spray it but it is very briefly in the opening and completely goes away after a few mins once it dries down. I have no idea which note or combination of notes causes that. I don’t think the EDP smells like Glossier You at all, but I can kind of understand why someone might make that connection with this one.

I didn't expect to like this since I wasn't the biggest fan of the EDP version. The EDP version was a little too powdery for me. I got a sample of the EDT and in the midst of testing it out on my skin, I get this lovely soapy ambrette note with the dry down. I am not a fan of soapy scents so it was a surprise for me that I kept going back to sniff my skin. I sprayed it after my gym workout and shower, and it just calmed me right down and I felt really clean not in a squeaky soap way but a smooth way. I am going to try layering it with Aerin's Ambrette Noir at night since there is an overlap of ambrette in both bottles. I'm excited for this!

This is actually quite nice I think is for those who did not enjoy the EDP. The dry down smells 95% like the edp,but it is different from the top to middle notes it smells MORE CLEAN less musty than the EDP~ where some may find the edp too musty and the aldehyde is a bit too strong in the opening. the magnolia helps to enhance the cleanliness in the EDT more soft and subtle but the performance is really good for an EDT! it lasts and I can still smell on myself after 10hours wear! TLDR: Office friendly for all seasons every occasions, less musty than the edp more clean

This is gorgeous! I do not remember the original Fleur de Peau edp, but I know it's one of those perfumes (along with Orpheon...) that I tried over and over in store because I kept forgetting what it smelled like as it failed to leave a lasting impression each time. This edt, however, is truly a masterpiece if you are a lover of clean, white musks. Fleur de Peau edt leans feminine with very obvious sweet, floral nuances, but it's not overdone or cheap-smelling. This is very much a pretty girl scent, but sophisticated. Now I want to revisit the EDP.

Faint dewy florals, green leaves and soft clean musks. This this a fresh and softly feminine perfume. Imagine a magical garden with fairies at dawn, drops of dew on flower petals and leaves. Comparing to the eau de parfum, I prefer that over this. While this one is fresher and brighter, the eau de parfum is more buttery and softer. Smelled at Bloomingdales. Smell: 8 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

The peppery notes are subtler than in the EDP version, but still noticeable. Sweet magnolia notes are added to the middle notes. While the overall floral vibe is getting stronger, most people will find the EDT version more familiar. It can also be worn by men. *The scent is less intense than in the EDP!

So much better than the edp imo. I tried really hard to make the edp work for my skin but it always pulled a really sharp mix of pepper and soap and not smooth the way other people perceive it. The edt has much softer edges, and is more wearable imo. I got a smaller 30ml bottle

I stumbled across this at Bijenkorf when i was just smelling stuff with my dad. It felt like a fever dream cuz i didnt see any type of announcement online , and it caught me off guard when i saw a bigger fleur de peau bottle with inverted colors. Ive lowkey desired this for a while because diptyque’s eau de toilettes have a nicer sillage than diptyque’s edps. And yes, i enjoyed it a lot. I dont think im fully sold however. This Smells very similar to the edp, but there are some textural differences. This one is much more airy and much more sunny and bright, unlike the thick layer of powder the edp provides. This one leans more into the makeup aspects of the edp, but it also has this sun dried laundry vibe eau des sens does. Its also a bit sweeter, not in an angel mugler synthetic way but in a guerlain insolence violet candy way. Performs much different on skin than on paper. I dont get the eau des sens connection on my skin at all, but on paper theres a hint of it. This one also acts more like baby powder in a way. The drydown is still chalky and balmy like the edp, but missing coziness and warmth. The performance isnt that different, it doesnt last as long but it projects the same. The magnolia isnt specifically discernible and i feel like it only adds brightness and clarity to an otherwise hazy and dreamy perfume. I prefer the edp because it smells more like a specific memory to me, while the edt is more perfumey. Its not worse though, i still enjoy this and maybe i’ll like it more in fall. Ive noticed fleur de peau is VERY temperature dependent and smells different in a lot of context. The edt probably behaves that way too, so i might update this review down the line. All in all a beautiful perfume and one of diptyque’s best

After some time with this fragrance I’ve realized that it gives me a headache. The EDP is my signature scent. I beyond love it. Could not get enough of it. But this version, on skin is a no go for me. But it is beautiful on fabric. There’s a sharpness that doesn’t go away. Maybe it’s the citrus. The opening is straight iris, you get that original EDP hit at the start and it does sort of linger in the back but this is too much of a freshly picked floral for me. Like there’s still morning dew lingering. I much prefer the powdery depth from the EDP. I will still keep my 50ml bottle though. Maybe spray it on a scarf or my coat. But even still, i don’t think it’s a cold weather scent. Not sure why this was released in August? This is a spring/early summer scent. I tend to love fragrances that start out sharp but this stays too citrusy cold and not powdery enough for me. It’s warm but not warm enough.

I own this, I blind bought it because the EDP is my signature scent. this is not really my cup of tea. it's very dewy. I also wonder how this will smell on sweaty skin. this is straight up spring. which is odd because this was released at the end of the summer last year. this is very similar to la pearla original. it has that same sharpness. I think la pearla dries down into something more elegant and interesting. If you love the EDP like I do, this version is more like a distant dewy, sharp, citrusy cousin.

I have been wanting to buy this for 2+ years, so my expectations were high. And... i am so horribly disappointed. What even is this? It smells sour, a bit like carrots and whiff of white flowers. Zero ambrette and very little musk. Vety clean girl, very blah and easily forgettable. It lasts a while on clothes but vanishes very quickly on my skin. Tired of these expensive niche brands - the quality is so often sub par and as strong as farts in a tornado.

Normally, I dislike anything with musk in it. However, this is an interesting anomaly. It straddles the line between musk and floral very deftly. Not my usual taste but it is interesting and I would like to keep it around for that. Edited (11/15/25): I have had it around for some time now and I can smell the musk a bit more now. I still think it is interesting but the dial for me is moving from 'Neutral' towards 'Not liking'.

There's definitely a "grandma" quality to it, like the whiff you would get if you were to open her clothing drawers. A very vintage powdery smell. On my skin it also pulls very sweaty, like a sweaty bra you've used for 3 or 4 days straight, lol. But despite this unappealing description, it doesn't smell bad, it's just that I don't want to smell like this.

Smells like pretty girl sweat. She’s clean, her hair is soft, she uses nice soap, but it’s been a demanding day (perhaps rushing around or the sun is too strong — she’s a delicate little thing...) Even though she’s a bit musty right now, it should be stressed that she’s still very, very pretty.
