Fleur de Peau Multiuse Fragrance

I'll preface by saying that this is not my kind of fragrance. I prefer scents with a bit more going for them. But I am not a woman who cannot appreciate what I would not wear, and this I definitely appreciate. Although this is very much a unisex fragrance, the opening is very much aldehyde + musk mallow. But if you give it some time, if you allow the fragrance to open and develop, then its skin-like, floral, slightly powdery and strictly skin-like clean nature will open up to you. It only gets better with time. Is it worth the niche price? For me, it's not. That's all.

It's a very nice and shy scent. I don't have the eau de parfum so I can not compare them with each other. When I sprayed it on for the first time I can't help but think that I've smelt this fragrance before. Maybe it's just me but a couple of days ago I realised that it smells like Penhaligon's Lavandula but hours after one has sprayed it on, Lavandula's dry down so to say but in a more subtle way.

It is really beautiful but my mind (and my nose) cannot classify it as a body perfume. I will use it on clothes and sheets and also want to try it on washing machine.

It’s nice and gets better as it dries down, but definitely disappointing if you’re looking to this to pair with the actual Fleur de Peau EDP... It’s reminiscent, but far more soapy and medicinal. It lacks what makes Fleur de Peau special- that creamy, peppery candied iris note, and trades it for a generic, detergenty white floral. Still pretty, and I do like it, but a bit expensive for what it is. May as well just pay the extra money for a bottle of the real perfume.

Initial spray gave me an overwhelmingly soapy and peppery smell that reminded me of gym changing rooms - I really disliked it. After 40-50 minutes it dissolved into this really pleasant, fresh smell that I couldn't stop sniffing on my skin? I don't know how to rate it from that. Would definitely see it working more on fabric.

Where aldehydes go to die. This is 100% not my type of scent—for skin, linens, laundry, anything. However, it is quite nice, if you like *literal* soapy scents. While this does not agree with me, I can see how it would be very appealing to others.

Just a boring floral powdery soapy scent. Meh.

Hi guys I need your help here. I ordered this from ebay from a supposedly legitimate seller and I am not smelling almost anything. Plus the sticker at the bottom of the bottle says: "Vinaigre de toilette". So do you think this is fake??? Thanks!

The dry down is gorgeous but the initial spray is too sharp and almost spicy for me. Diptyque fragrances are quite characteristic and I think they just don't mesh well with me. It's almost too mature.

This is a much better "glossier you" fragrance. The pepper note is stronger in this one- which I honestly sort of like some days and sort of hate other days. It is overall a great perfume though.

Soapy floral. In the beginning I can see the comparison to Glossier You. However, after some wear the pepper note dissipates and it turns jnto a powdery soapy floral skin scent.
