L'Eau du Trente-Quatre

I'm a little confused about which Diptyque Trente-Quatre this page is for, but I've been testing the eau de toilette and I think this is the page for it...? The notes seem correct, at least, compared to what I'm smelling. This is a beautiful, elegant scent by master perfumer Olivier Pescheux who made a couple of my most beloved Diptyque perfumes, namely Fleur de Peau and Orpheon. To my nose, Trente-Quatre has subtle echoes of Orpheon in its fresh, sweet, green, powdery/woody aspects, but without Orpheon's initial sharpness. Trente-Quatre is softer and more low-key classic in its restraint than Orpheon (maybe the oakmoss tones the composition down). It opens with an almost spicy fresh, green brightness reminiscent of citrus but probably the mastic/lentisque -- described as being turpentine-like -- a smell I've enjoyed since I was a child. Then there's a kind of minerality and powderiness and, as it dries down, a very sweet but green note (black currant buds?). The whole thing kind of reminds me a little bit as if Orpheon and Molinard Habanita had a baby, but minus the sharpness of Orpheon and the heaviness of Habanita. It's really beautiful and elegant -- neither too heavy nor too light. It lasts for about 4 hours and then I want to reapply.

What a perfect summer eau!! Love the mastc in it! Have been looking for it for almost 2 years. They told me at Aattica stores in Athens that it has been discontinued for a long time now. Is this true?

I love l'eau de 34. It's been my signature scent since it was released in 2014, but it looks like it's been discontinued. Does anyone have any info?

This is artisan herbal soap with a balmy twist

This is really beautiful - sprays on quite green floral but dries down into a nice resin woodyness. This is definitely better when smelling it in air - bit much up close. Longevity on this is also killer, glad to add to my collection!

Kind of smells like a woody gin and tonic but more muted, Is okay but nothing I would go out of my way to buy 6.5/10

Got a sample of this after my last purchase. It is a really classy smelling scent, more older gentleman classy type of perfume. I like my fair share of fresh scents but this leans more masculine and a bit too grown up for me. The drydown gives a tad of clean/out of spa feeling

To me this smells like a gin and tonic with a slice of lemon in it. It’s fresh, sparkling and aromatic. After a couple hours it turns into a cheap, orange scented laundry detergent though...

received a sample of this a while back with a purchase it starts off both dry & fresh with herbs like rosemary, citrus, grasses, & woods then gets a little floral with a hint of orange

All the bells and whistles that 34, must be my type or something because this, and the 34 Boulevard St Germains always hit so many marks.

Really great, deep while still remaining simple. I’m going to wait until I find it for a steal and finna cop dis! Yeee!!!!1!1!!111
