Philosykos Limited Edition

I love this so much, it does start off scarily green, I remember trying this in store and wanting to like it but upon first spray its JUST got a cutting raw GREEN to it, it does however settle within maybe 20 mins to a creamy laconic fig, lots of that soft and gentle light/mid colored woodsy notes are detectable throughout. It smells like sitting under a fig tree in the morning of late summer - its cool out, I can smell some jammy-ness from a few ripe figs - the rest are still green and not ready. I smell the ozonic breeze, tree bark, and light green fig leaves. It is fresh and photorealistic. Mind you, this IS the EDP black bottle with a light creamy coconut accord and not the EDT clear bottle, I find the EDT to be lighter, maybe waterier if you will? but this is a lovely unisex clean scent. Imagine Gigi Hadid wearing this, paired with a beige cashmere outfit, gold jewelry and bouncy blonde curls. it's really gentle, this projects weakly unfortunately, very intimate and needs to be reapplied even when on clothes. but I like this so much I don't mind..

In my part of the world, summer is always hot and humid. I can only wear a cologne because anything stronger will turn into a blast, which is rather unpleasant. This summer, after testing numerous newly launched ‘green’ perfumes, I finally found something I could wear: Philosykos edt. The 100ml version has been on the market for years. It was just a coincidence that I saw the 30ml limited edition on the first day of launch, so I purchased a full bottle. As expected, the green notes of fig and fig leaves are way too strong and intense for my appreciation. Fortunately they fade away after half a minute. The interplay between warm woods and green fig trees, which lasts for 3-4 hours, is really enjoyable. Overall, Philosykos edt is a polite and inoffensive perfume for the hot summer. P.S. Nice flacon too.
