I think people are looking at this the wrong way thinking this should smell like a mermaid gracefully swimming in the ocean but to me the name fits this scent perfectly. Think about it, the song "kiss the girl" takes place while prince eric and human ariel are taking a leisurely row with delicate flowers in the background in the evening on calm waters. This is the first perfume I have ever tried that I can honestly say STINKS. When I tried it in Sephora, it smelt like rotten cucumbers and dirty fountain water. NOT what I'd imagine a mermaid princess to smell like. I was so disappointed in this. My quest for the perfect mermaid perfume continues...

This fragrance was so obnoxiously aquatic that it gave me a headache. I wanted desperately to like it as I am a fan of Disney, and wore it a few times to see if my opinion would ever differ, but it didn't. It's a sharp wet cucumber scent that doesn't die down or change. I tried to offer it to a friend who tends to like strong, synthetic fragrances, but even she didn't want it.
