So This Is Love

I get an extremely powdery scent from this scent, I do not know why that is not mentioned in the scent accords. Pretty much everything else is listed here is spot on: white florals, very much aldehydic, tuberose, extreme but very nice hyacinth smell, undertone but noticable jasmine, little musky. I am not picking up the woodsy but definetely picking up on the powdery. Those scents are what I smell when I smell it. Very nice frangrance, exactly what Cinderella would wear to the ball!!! (Only sold exclusively at Sephora.)

This is clean and floral but at the same time, a dreamy scent. A teensy bit of plum speaks to her age but, she is a very mature and serious young lady so the aldehydes and white flowers speak to those aspects of her personality. It is a favorite, exactly how I would expect Cinderella to smell. I wish it were back in production.

I miss this soooo much! The best way I can describe this is magical, this is what a Fairytale Princess smells like. I say Fairytale Princess because I cannot discern any singular notes from it, they all come together in the most delightful way. If anyone knows of any dupes I would be forever grateful!

I LOVED this and did buy it but returned it after discovering its short lasting power. But very very pretty scent.

So This is Love... is from the Cinderella collection, not the Jasmine Collection. Sephora listed the notes as: Fresh Aldehydes, Plumeria, Dewy Hyacinth, Tuberose, Sheer Jasmine, Solar Accord, Musks, Plum, Creamy Woods I'm glad this was finally added to the database. I don't believe it is for sale any longer, so I'm glad I got my bottle when I had the chance! I second the review about strong aldehydes. The first time I wore this, I thought it smelled like hairspray and worried that I had made a terrible mistake purchasing (other than the gorgeous bottle). However, after a few more tries, I came to appreciate that heady brightness. I've also gotten a couple compliments while wearing this, so I will continue to use it sparingly, so I can make it last.

In US $, these go for about 60 i think? which is a good price for a perfume like this! on me, it lasts...and lasts... and lasts. sometimes longer than i'd like it to :P I get the VERY STRONG aldehydes, and the jasmine. the musk takes over on me (not something i love, but bareable). Its a very gently scent... very clean and floral without that 'bland'ness that most florals seem to have. its just what id imagine cinderella to smell like - glamorous but not in the Gucci Guilty way. this one is all classy, reserved, poised, but gentle and sweet (personality wise, ..not a sweet perfume!)

It smells like linen closet, like old fashion cloth starch, clean laundry. It’s unique, only perfume I can think of as ‘reminds me of’ is Lazy Sunday Morning Maison Martin Margiela, same sterile vibes, but different.

Hmmm... I know that I'm going to be an unpopular opinion but something about this perfume just didn't agree with me. It was very powdery and a bit soapy which I didn't mind, quite sweet. I agree that there was a strong note of aldehydes. Strangely whenever I wear this perfume I get an immense headache, which is probably why I dislike it so much. It's a pretty scent that is suitable for daily wear but just not for me.

Purchased this perfume in 2012 as a gift for my daughter, she owned the original Cinderella perfume twenty something years ago. This is a much more grown up and pleasant version. I recently purchased a bottle for myself for $74.00 free shipping, so it is a bit expensive. It was a very limited edition, so finding a sample is not going to happen. It smells very fresh (think white musk) with some light floral for sweetness. It's not cloying and will be a fine summer fragrance. Two sprays lasts about five hours, so it has some life to it. I do reccommend this as a nice everyday scent, you will get addicted to it, so be careful! Once it's gone, it's gone for good.

They are expensive because they were limited edition! I love this fragrance. Such a wonderful romantic scent. Wear it out on dates!

Wow these perfumes are too expensive for what they are. Reduce them by £30 and then you have a winner.

Good bed time scent, but very fleeting. I do enjoy it, but don't expect it to last long.

Very light, skin scent. Clean.
