Little Mermaid

First of all, I have to say that I am really impressed by the presentation of this line. The boxes and bottles are exquisite - the perfect balance between grown-up and nostalgic. The bottles are made of a very nice, heavyweight glass and though the gem on the cap is plastic, it sparkles beautifully and adds something really special to the overall look. The black satin bow adds an elegant yet playful touch, and the heart charm is adorable. A+! The Ariel scent is a fresh, sweet, slightly powdery, aquatic fruity floral. It is my favorite from the line.

Well-blended fruity fresh drugstore shampoo smell. That’s it to my nose. It doesn’t smell cheap, but it also... doesn’t not just smell like drugstore shampoo. I wish I got almond from this, because I love almond, but I don’t. This is not a nutty fragrance at all, it’s a 90s aquatic-fresh type scent with a dash of white florals and cheap fake fruit notes. Reminds me of the mid-00s and how the deodorants and body sprays of that time smelled.

My skin ate it. Five minute aquatic note then gone. I loved Sleeping Beauty from the same set, but this was a very different experience for me.

Unfortunately this is a scrubber for me, and I usually LOVE tuberose and Jasmine. It started out as a nice aquatic/white floral, but then it quickly took a dive and smelled like stanky feet.

Smells nothing like Good Girl by CH. This smells straight up like a "magnolia" shower gel I used to be in love with back in the 90s as a kid. Also identical to Suave Milk & Honey shower gel. It was the wrong label for that shower gel because it was obviously a tuberose scent with milk and honey or almond and vanilla, something milky anyway. The almond is subtle here but enough to give it a lactonic vibe - I love almond. I get an almond-honey vibe from this, solar sweet like honey and milky sweet - the honey of the gods, no dustiness, all smooth. It was summer and I had discovered this shower gel and it was a moment of bliss for me to shower in it after swimming in the sea. Im so happy to have a perfume like that. This is a nice perfume, smells like a uniform scent, I can pick out maybe 2 notes but it is very simple. It is lactonic, and the tuberose is almost like there is vanilla here. I am a lover of tuberose (see Jimmy Choo Flash and Flash London Club). This is a must-have and to pair with other perfumes and add more almond-honey to them. The floral game here is tamed and it smells like there is some vanilla. I paired it today with Moschino Toujours Glamour to intensify the almond, amazing combo. I find that Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Magnetic opens up smelling alot like this. Also, somehow Mon Guerlain Sensuelle is giving Little Mermaid lol maybe due to the overload of jasmine there - a common note, the benzoin-licorice like honey - since I smell a honey effect in Little Mermaid, and with the lavender-iris of Sensuelle, you get an indolic doll-like scent like tuberose, while the almondy tonka perfects it, but the sandalwood there is pencil shavings a bit so a more dimensional mature scent. I had bought 3 and I sent one to my 4 yr old niece in Greece, her first perfume. Don't buy overpriced on ebay, go on fragrancenet.

when i saw these at macys i just had to get them.........adult disney why not lol :) i bought all 3 & i reviewed cinderella earlier & today im reviewing little mermaid (ariel) .................i really like this one..........i actually do smell the tuberose in this one where as in the cinderella one i couldnt really pinpoint a note lol but just like cinderella...........its a very nice safe, simple , easy to wear , people & crowd friendly scent :) its a bit stronger than cinderella due to the tuberose but still a soft scent..........close to the skin & doesnt project much............but none of this is bad so dont get me wrong lol............i like to have soft scents for certain occassions.............i dont always want to scream hey smell me or clear the room out with people gasping lol.................also its more floral not aquatic.......i was expecting something salty , beachy , watery lol but no its floral :) so far i am happy with the new adult disney scents :) i would buy more if they added new ones :) and the bottles are really cute :) also the scent would be perfect for adult or teen :)

When I found out FragranceNet had Little Mermaid on sale for about $7, I had to pick up a bottle!! I wanted this perfume regardless of what it smelled like just because it was my favorite Disney Princess, but I was a little surprised that it was more floral and didn’t have an aquatic note which I thought would be more fitting. It’s a light and pleasant scent and I love having the bottle on my table :) I want to collect the other Princesses now :)

Does anyone know if this is the same formula/scent as the one from the early 2000s?
