The Nightmare Before Christmas (Jack)

That bottle is awesome! :) But those notes... uncanny. :D Blood? With pumpkin? And the smell of fire? Hmmmm.....

the notes are totally off - it's definitely purple floral, tobacco, maybe a citrus and a wood? i don't quite know if it's 'blood', but there's a metallic note in there when i really think about it. it has a typical cologne quality to it, but i think it can definitely be unisex. i got this as a gift when it was first released, so this carries the distinct memory of being an awkward high schooler. while i wouldn't wear this out today (mostly due to a change in taste), it is still such a cool bottle for fans of nightmare before christmas. it doesn't last more than two hours, and is definitely more of an intimate scent, it's definitely wearable, although i'd probably carry it with me to reapply after a few hours.

Labeled as "Bone Daddy". Not sure if this has been remarketed or if it's something completely different, but I didn't find any other Nightmare Before Christmas fragrances. It may have been developed specifically for Hot Topic based on some quick google searches. This one does not last long; I applied in the morning and by mid-morning I couldn't find it any longer. Big fruity notes, comes across as unisex. I like the aroma it just doesn't last.

I had this one imported to me because I have always been a fan of the nightmare before christmas and was elated to find this listed when i was browsing the blood notes on the site- i actually don't smell blood at all, but it does have an almost fresh metallic scent under the warm spice. its a fragrance i like to wear around the house as it doesn't last too long and isnt very strong, but is still very pleasant

Such a strange combination... Like my nose can’t even register it properly. Weird notes i’ve never heard of before. Each sniff you pick up on different notes. The smell is just okay, maybe come across weird or disgusting to people, and I can see how, but to my nose as a cologne fan I understand these notes, but the performance is a joke.

Top notch presentation, disappointing scent. For Disney products, I did not expect something edgy like blood and fire smell lol. I knew the notes are all wrong. I thought it might be some kind of autumn dessert scent like pumpkin pie or pumpkin spice latte. Something Bath & Body Works would sell during fall. But when I first sniff it, I was surprised ....not in a good way. Let me say........ It smells like $3 men cologne from low-cost retailer store chain in my country. To be more specific, it smells like cheap dupe of those famous "blue" fragrances being sold in that store. Even though they are very cheap and I am not a fragrance snob, I'd not wear their fragrances because I don't want to smell like chemical sanitiser. This 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' EDP brings me that feeling. Sharp and piercing chemical smell that gives me nausea. I'm glad it doesn't last. I'm so disappointed in the scent quality. However, as 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' fan who has many TNBC stuffs like Jack Nendoroid, figurine, backpack, DVD and bluray, etc... I'm really REALLY happy about the presentation. Jack's skull (cap) gives a nice touch, the bat bow tie is cute and well-made, the bottle is heavy and solid and the coffin (box) is really beautiful. This one is not going to my perfume wardrobe for sure but I'd proudly keep it with my TNBC collection. Definitely a collection worthy. If you are The Nightmare Before Christmas fans, you should check this out. Ignore the juice, you're buying an awesome Jack Skellington bottle ;)

Picked it up today at Chemist Warehouse for $19.99. Love the bottle, it's so cute and Jack's head pops off. The notes said "warm spicy", pumpkin, fire and blood. I immediately bought it because of that. Warm spicy perfumes are my favourite. But the ACTUAL scent is like a teenagers "aqua" perfume available in the discount section. It smells like the "fresh out of the shower" perfume that's kind of smell like hand sanitizer. It's really sad. But I like the bottle so it'll look nice on the shelf, even if I never use it again.

this smells about as generic as you can get. light yet indistinguishable notes of citrus and chemical solvents, very reminiscent of cheap men's deodorant or body spray. incredibly unpleasant and cheap, nothing like the listed notes. don't buy unless you're a nightmare before christmas fan who's in it for the bottle, this scent is not at all worth subjecting yourself to.

I personally HATED this scent, it honestly just felt cheap to me. I was so disappointed by the notes described vs how it actually is, if you just want to smell like every average cheap cologne, go for it. Only thing I really find appealing is the bottle design.

Has a slightly strange smell at the initial spray which I’m getting is suppose to be the “blood” note. Smells like davidoff cool water once it dries which turns into a more nicer scent. But I honestly don’t smell any of the notes listed. I feel like this list may be made up as there is no hint of pumpkin or fire. If I can try pick the notes myself I’d say pine tree, mint, metallic, water, liquorice, apple. Smells like a typical male fragrance like I said...cool water

Bought it out of impulse since it was cheap, there were no notes written on the box so I just bought it since it sounded nice, like, wow a Tim Burton film scent hell yeah. Anyways, um, it smells like a generic cologne that 13 year old boys wear in middle school to seem cool. The only difference is this eerily metallic scent (which I assume is the blood scent) and that is the only thing I like about it, oh the bottle is cool too except the lid comes off so easily.

Pumpkin, fire and blood? Nope! I bought this last year, like many just for the cute bottle and box, as the notes weren't listed anywhere. It smells like a generic men's cologne. Very masculine. I get a hint of citrus in a woody base. That's about it. Not sure why they're lying about these notes but if you really expect to smell them, prepare to be very disappointed.

Well this explains some things - they did kinda meet the brief... Starts pleasantly enough, aromatic like a generic men's cologne and then the metallic notes and the charred melted plastic scent comes through (Jack's sleigh on fire?) The bottle is a lot of fun - you can take off his head (to recite Shakespearian quotations) 😁

As you can see (my profile thumbnail,jack skellington)....I love Jack !!! So...I want this "just for the bottle" ....!!!! However.....the ONLY sites I find this available are in......Australia...!!!....??? Anyone know where we can purchase this here in USA....????
