At first I was kind of disappointed, as it is not as complex as one might expect from the house of dixit & zak. To my amateur nose it is a simple night blooming jasmin. But then again is it really that simple to have a long lasting realistic three-dimensional night blooming jasmin? At least I dont know of any. I remember walking the streets of iran in warmer nights as a kid and smelling this flowers. I always was in search for that experience in a perfume and have found it in nightingale. And I am happy it is that experience displayed perfectly and gets the full attention of the perfumer and doesn't have to battle with other notes to take the center stage. I find myself craving it again and again in the last few weeks. Its meditative, calming and intriguing at the same time.

Love this to bits very refreshing indolic jasmine and citrus feral and raw, with a warming woody sandal dry down laced with civet with floral and aromatics hits in the heart. Only downside it smells like literal cat piss to the untrained nose so worn in very small amounts outside

It's not exactly pleasant and smells very "indie"... It has a bitter woody undertone that undermines the florals. Not sure why everything they have gets sold out, but this is the only one I could try at a reasonable price for the sample. If this has "many similarities" to the others, I'm not sure adding oud would make it better.

I don't have the words to explain this mediocrity, so I will keep it simple- Yet another 'been there done that' fragrance.
